Supergirl has posed:
It's Saturday, at the proscribed time, and Supergirl is waiting for the Titans at STAR Labs in Metropolis. After the impromptu meeting, where they had met as a group for the first time and Nightwing distributed communication devices to everyone, it was decided to do a training exercise at STAR Labs while the Tower was being completed. Learning teamwork was the goal of the exercise, and also getting to know each other better in terms of powers and personalities. To that end, the Doctors Danvers had set up an extensive training simulation at STAR, deisgned to test powers and combat proficiency using mechanical traps, robotic drones, and holograms. Of course, neither of them told their adopted daughter Kara was was in store for her and her team....

Supergirl has posed:

Power Girl has posed:
    In STAR Labs was someone that was fully willing to work with the team with the training. She was in a lab coat and glasses, naturally. Kara would know exactly who she was as well. So when Karen walked by her, the blonde would give Kara a wink......as her way of saying hi.

Gravitas has posed:
"Okay! I'm pretty psyched," Victoria announces to anyone listening. Not loudly, but brightly, in an enthusiastic way that encourages a 'loud' personality. She has an enthusiastic smile and is currently in her 'Man of Tomorrow' hoodie, blue jeans, and a purple mask that covers the midle of her facew ith holes or the eyes. Enough to make it not entirely clear who the girl with the thick honey blonde curls is. Someone needs a real costume anyway. "It's really great to meet everyone," tori continues cheerfully, eyes fixed forward while she waits to begin.

Amarok has posed:
The one apparently known as 'The Urban Wolf' had arrived early, taking a position in the corner of the team's waiting room. Strangely though, no one had seen him arrive or enter, as if he had simply popped into existance in the room when no one was looking. He stands motionless, arms crossed and gaze fixed on the floor, giving a short grunt to each arrival but remaining otherwise silent and apparently detached.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl looks around at the assembled group, nodding a bit. Looks like everyone else had something come up. "Thanks for coming, guys." Kara smiles and winks back at the buxom blonde scientist that walks by. "Doctor Starr," she says to her. "Would you like to assist the Danvers in running the training simulation for us?"

She turns back to the others, happy that Victoria was able to make it. "So, I guess this is us for now. How about we go to the training room and get started?"

Supergril leads them into the large training area, which looks to be like a gigantic, mostly empty, auditorium. There are various machines and obstacles set up, and groups of robots scattered all over the room. "So, the robots are designed to be breakable, so don't worry about smashing them to pieces." And at that point, 4 of the robots activate and start slowly advancing. "How about if you two start up on them?" she suggests to Victoria and Wolf.

Power Girl has posed:
    "Of course. I'm here to help, of course." Karen says to Supergirl.

Once they're in the training room, she listens to Supergirl's explaination. "I should warn that they're not totally defenseless. but they are at the lowest setting, so show us what you've got..."

Gravitas has posed:
    "Okay. So... Break robots." Victoria shrugs slowly and then walks over toward the robots curiously. She's watching to see what they do mostly. "...Hey! Did you attack me? That's- exactly what you're built to do. Ow!" The girl scowls and proceeds to walk up to one of the robots and kick it. Hard enough to put her foot through the bot in question She blinks then and takes a deep breath. The secoond robot is glared at so hard it abruptly floats up into the air and then slams into the ground. SMASH. That's her two, anyway. Bits of robot everywhere. Tori blinks, then kicks the broken bot. Just to make sure.

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf follows along to the training area in the same silence as he'd held in the meeting room. As the bots activate, the Wolf stalks calmly towards them. As one takes a swing at him, he casually ducks back, letting it fully extend itself from the swing, before grabbing it's arm, twisting it into a lock, and swinging it around into the other bot, flooring it. In the same motion, he jumps up, pulling the first bot in close and putting his free fist to it's face as they smash down perfectly in line with the second bot, his fist slamming through both heads with a sickening sound of sheering metal. As he pulls back, his body relaxes, and forms back up, stepping back towards the others, his smashing hand shaking out a bit from the impact.

Supergirl has posed:
"Good job, guys," Supergirl says with a smile. She flies up a bit to get a view from a higher elevation. Then, there's lots of lasers shooting at Supergirl! She starts dodging the automatic blaster fire, ducking and weaving around.

In the mean time, looks like having 4 robots at a time isn't hard enough. So, there's 10 robots now advancing on Victoria and Wolf from in front. And in the meantime, there's another 5 starting to advance from behind them...

"Watch your back, "Supergirl calls out as she dodges another blast from the wall guns. As she continues flying around, Kara lets out a blast of heat vision at one of the guns shooting at her, causing a small explosion. Only a dozen or so of those guns for her to go...

Power Girl has posed:
Karen Starr giggles a little bit in the room as Supergirl is open fired on....and the other robots begin to advance. "Dr. Danvers? yes....try them at a scale of 3...for now." She says into the speaker....

Gravitas has posed:
"Hey, can I do that?" Victoria asks, pointing at the lasers. "... Stop it, I'm trying to talk to Supergirl about something." One of the robots is firing at Tori and she shakes her head, stomping her left foot. A diminutive young woman of indeterminate ethnicity shoots across the room abruptly, smashing into a couple of the bots as she goes. She's brawling with the roots, genreally by smashing them into one another. Tori is like a wrecking ball. Those paying attention might realize that 'laser' fire aimed at her tends to go... Around. Sproing!

"Hey, you!" Tori calls to the Urban Wolf. "How many of these things do you think you can handle at once? We should probably coordinate..." More sounds of tearing steel as robots collide. Good thing they have insurance.

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf seemes undaunted by the encroaching group of bots, casually reaching into his belt and pulling out a small metal bar that, with a squeeze of the grip, extends to a respectable length for a staff, "Me?...All of them. I'll try to leave you some." He responds as he charges in, staff twirling, spinning, and smacking away at the robots. Laser fire is dodged and reapplied in the most classic of ways, by vaulting over bots to put them in the line of fire. Between Victoria and the Wolf, this should take perhaps thirty seconds at most.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl can hear the giggle in the control room and smirks a bit. She'll have to figure out a way to get back at Karen...once she stops dodging lasers. Then, a concussion missle gets fired at Wolf from the wall behind him. Supergirl zips forward and takes the hit, the explosion sending her flying into the wall in front of Wolf. "Oooof" She shakes her head and barely dodges another blast. "Move back closer together and towards the near wall," Kara calls out to her teammates. "Tori, your right, Wolf, you left. Should make it easier to defend."

Power Girl has posed:
    it might make it easier to defend, but it's also easier to concentrate fire on them. Karen then works the controls a little bit and the remaining lasers start to target Supergirl. And another missile. This one, however....looks a little....off.

Gravitas has posed:
"Right!" Tori affirms, turning slightly so that her back is to the Urban Wolf beside her. She takes a deep breath. "Okay... I can do this. Five bots? Kay..." She lifts both hands and takes a deep breath then sweeps them harshly to the right. There's a tremendous crash as the bots are being collapsed together haphazardly. Pieces fly everywhere, adding to the potential projectiles filling the room. They're better than lasers, anyway. Probably still hurt if they hit someone. "Oops... Look out!" Tori calls, wincing slightly. She, at least, is apparently fairly resistant to debris. It's actually orbiting her, making that thin field of strange gravity around her visible in dust and shredded metal.

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf is like a whirlwind, bouncing back and forth with each strike to the bots as he slowly maneuvres to the listed location, but not quite as far back as perhaps Kara meant, "Dont bunch up or explosions will take us all out at once." He says fairly calmly, given the circumstances. The debris bursting forth from the bots Victoria is smashing seems not to be bothering him, likely thanks to the full body armoring. As the off looking missile starts towards Kara, the Wolf calls out, "Nine O'clock boomer!" without skipping a beat he leg sweeps a bot and smacks it up as hard as he can with his staff, the momentum from his whirlwind being largely spent in the effort. But the bot is out of place, leaving the work of getting the missile to be blocked by it to the Kryptonian.

Supergirl has posed:
"On it," Supergirl says to Wolf as he points out the missile. She flies down to join the group, taking a position facing the missile. Heat vision blasts out to hit the missile and causes it to explode. ONly...the smoke is...green. Suddenly, Supergirl starts wobbling and looks unstable. She looks up at the control room in confusion, then falls to her knees, coughing.

In the control room, there's confusion as Jeremiah and Eliza Danvers turn towards Dr. Starr. "What the Hell is going on? There's not supposed to be Kryptonite in this simulation?"

Power Girl has posed:
    Karen looks over to the Danver and crosses her arms. "it's not lethal, but I'm giving them obstacles. In the case of Supergirl.....it'll be to work as a normal human for a time....and for the team to work without her, and cover her, for a time." She seems rather cold, but it's an important lesson, and one of the danver may noticed that the knob for the attack power has been turned back....

Gravitas has posed:
"...Supergirl?" Victoria looks confused initially. Blue eyes dart back and foth, identifying everything around them- and then she's staring into the cloud of green smoke. She lets out a shout and runs toward where the Kryptonian has collapsed. Taking a deep breath Tori turns around slowly, hands raised again. "Wolf, keep the bots off of us," she calls as she is staring into the cloud. "Okay... So... Um. If I-" She forms a ball with her fingers, mimicking how she's visualizing the green gas to react. A small gravitational field to suck up the kryptonite gas. Tori bites down on her bottom lip, muscles tensing a bit. This is where she has some trouble, really.

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf growls out his acknowledgement as he speeds up his assault, making himself the center of attention for the robots. No matter how they may try, none of them can get within a few yards of Victoria and Kara, being rendered scrap from the savagely accurate blows of his staff.

Supergirl has posed:
In the control booth, Jeremiah Danvers types in the commands to start the emergency ventilation system. "There's other ways we could have done that!" Eliza says to Karen before looking back at the trainign area fearfully. "Red solar emitters would have taken away her powers without any chance of poisoning her! You should have talked to us first!"

Back on the simulation room floor, the robots stop their advance as Wolf smashes down the last active ones. The green gas is drawn upwards by powerful fans, and Tori's gravity bubble helps as well, providing a shield that the gas reminants can't penetrate while they are being removed.

Supergirl, on the other hand, is still coughing and gasping a bit for breath. Although the removal of the Kryptonite dust from the air is helping some.

Power Girl has posed:
    Karen takes a bit of a breath as she powers down the robots as well...or would have if WOlf hasdn't smashed the last ones. "There's quite a few things I need to talk to you about then." She says softly as she turns the vents to collect the dust rather than just throw it away. "Like I said...it wasn't lethal. Believe me...I've tested it already."

She then flips a switch that.....intensifies a certain light in the room, and Supergirl should start feeling better fairly quickly.....since it's on the same wavelength as Yellow Sunlight....

Gravitas has posed:
As the dust is being removed from he air Victoria is moving to put an arm around Supergirl and support her while she goes through her coughing fits lest she actually fall over. "What the hell is going on?" Tori asks in a voice loud enough to be picked up by whatever microphone is likely nearby. "Are you okay, Supergirl?" Tori had been about to use a different name but quickly stopped herself. Then she continues with, "I think she needs to rest! What in the world...? We can keep going, though. What's after this?" A blink as Tori is looking around again.

Amarok has posed:
The Wolf snaps his staff back to it's retracted state as the last bot falls before stomping quickly over to Supergirl and getting her other arm supported to help her to the wall, "Hang in there, just focus on breathing, in and out." He says with the tiniest hint of worry breaking through his normaly icy voice. He glances up and says loudly for the microphone, "Training's over, get a medic in here, /now/." His voice has bit of menace to it, the sign of an order with consequences for refusing.

Supergirl has posed:
As everything winds down, Eliza Danvers rushes out fo the control room, just about sprinting into the similation room. She aids Victoria in helping Kara get to her feet. "Come on, Supergirl," she says in a motherly voice. "Let's get you to the decontamination showers..."

Supergirl nods, still coughing and looking like she's contracted the worse case of the flu in human history. Kara looks over to Victoria and Wolf as she walks out and says, "Thanks. Wolf's right. Training is done for the day. You guys go back home and I'll talk to you later on the coms, okay?" She smiles more, looking over at Eliza. "I'll be fine," she reasures everyone in the rooom. "Really.

Power Girl has posed:
    "The decontamination showers won't help, Mrs. Danvers. That's the problem with Kryptonite, Supergirl's body soaks up the radiation so readily and eagerly that a shower won't help." Karen says as she practically lifts Kara off her feet. "What she needs, is sunlight. I have quite a bit to explain to you both. And WHY I'm a xenobiologist." And with that, she carries Supergirl out of the building and.......*BOOM*.....Karen Starr flies into the sky.
