Synopsis: Morrigan is scoping out Sunnydale, so is Deathstroke. Spike is eating WAY too much garlic!
Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Spike, Deathstroke

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
It's early evening in Sunnydale and that means that people are starting to wind down, some shops are already closed, but that doesn't mean that there aren't people around. It's far from a ghost town. Sunnydale isn't known to be the greatest place afterdark, if you believe the local gossip of things that go bump in the night that is.

Doctor Morrigan MacIntyre is checking out the small sub-section of Bludhaven this evening and noting the shops. She's dressed down today in t-shirt, jeans and boots. Her sunglasses are still on because the light is weird on her eyes. Currently she's circling things in red ink on her newspaper that she picked up.

Spike has posed:
Early evening in Sunnydale and there's a strong, strong smell of garlic from a suspiciously food-shaped paper wrappped lump on the hood of Spike's car, a 1959 DeSoto Fireflight, all black, white trim. He's sitting in the driver's seat, though the door's open, engine is off.....and he's seemingly asleep. Grabbing the burger, he adds it to fries. Somehow he got back into the Big Belly Burger after his last time in there. Which involved him beating down a customer after they, admittedly, startd the fight. Spike ended it....but tonight he unraps the burger and inspects it carefully, it's to his liking, as he adds a package of garlic butter to the alreadygarlic coated burger, with fried onions, some tomato slices, cheese.....and a roast beef burger. There's a bottle of beer on the dash. Spike's not driving, he's eating. There's a subtle difference. Plus he could walk home, and have his car towed home, really....home being a crypt. The smell of garlic makes the car smell like it is a rolling garlic field, which amuses Spike absolutely to no end, really.....he likes his garlic. Shaking his head. Spike chomps on the burger and nods in satisfaction.

Deathstroke has posed:
Slade Wilson is working, even when he's not wearing an armoured suit with weapons all around him. Right now, his activity is intel gathering and that is why he is in civilian clothes, getting out of a shop that, seems to deal with, computer repairs? It's a bit odd, seeing such a man getting out of a shop that was, until now at the closing time, full of techy guys and girls, he that is in his fifties, with white hair, an ash grey tailored suit, and most noticeably a black patch over his right eye. In terms of armament, a small 9mm gun is hidden under the left side of his jacket, not visible to the average person, and he's not carrying anything more even if, passing nearby a car that seems to come directly from garlicland, he probably wants at least a full package of incense, or a flamethrower...

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's pretty alert to the surroundings, first the smell of garlic makes her scrunch her nose up, was someone bathing in it? Then she's distracted by the sound of a door closing and she looks over from her bench to see the older gent walking out. A hand raises to slide her sunglasses down her nose and watch the man. Her violet eyes bright with curiousity. "Nice suit." she murmurs as she crosses out one of the house listings. Apparently that choice was no longer good. Though she gives a look up when the wind shifts the garlic smell and the car is noticed, "Don't see one of those everyday." she muses.

Spike has posed:
Spike climbs out of the car with a burger and fries in his hands. Spike's unmistakeable....as much as a Billy Idol vampire could be....though Spike waves the burger to Mo in greeting. The last time they'd crossed paths, they had fought vampires together with Oz, and Spike at least has the decency to keep the garlic with a side of burger, away from them all, he was eating it. That and he's balancing the other burger on his arm and smiles. "Hey" Spike calls over to Mo, "You still got your water pistol? Or rather, you gonna use it on me for giving ya warning of my arrival? C'mon. Garlic is good. Alright, alright it's good in smaller doses.

Deathstroke has posed:
Slade Wilson needs an excuse to stay and watch the shop for a bit, enough to understand a few more things about the owner, and what a better excuse than to use that garlic man and the girl that said something about his suit? Well, at least, that wasn't a loud comment probably, but that's what having supersenses is for, right? And so that's why he alters his course to pass next to Morrigan, and Spike, nodding to them as a form of greeting, saying a "thanks" to the woman and a "nice car" to the vampire.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Oh no." Morrigan whispers to herself. Then she folds her paper and settles it in her lap, "Hello Spike." she lifts a hand to wave at the vampire. "And no, I left the squirt gun in the car. Do I need it?" she asks him with a chuckle. Then she looks up to Slade as he passes and the thanks from him makes her blink, oh crap he heard. "No problem." she chuckles as she looks after the man. "Do you live around here? I'm trying to decide if I want to move here and I figured talking to the locals might help with that." she asks Slade with a smile.

Spike has posed:
Spike grins and looks to Mo. "So you're considering a house here?" he asks and waves to Slade. "So, anything interesting?" Spike asks and fortunately leaves the garlic in the car and rolls up the windows with a grin. "Yeah you like my carr? It's a59 DeSoto Fireflight" Spike adds "I was heading home but figured I'd get a burger on the way home" he nods.

Deathstroke has posed:
Slade Wilson offers Morrigan an affable smile, positioning himself so that he can look at her and Spike while surveying the shop's entrance as well, even if that's done in a subtle enough way, it could almost seem like he's just getting on a position to have the wind help him to bring away the garlic smell! "it is a nice car indeed, even if I am afraid it will not be very, mhm, smelling of flowers, lets say..." he says, trying to be diplomatic, then admits to Morrigan, shaking his head, "I live in New York so I don't really know. I am just here for business... But, as far as I have seen, houses are nice and affordable, here..." of course, for who has several zeroes in his bank account everything is affordable.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I'm debating picking up one, yes." Morrigan gives a smile to Spike. Then there's a sigh of relief when the wind picks up driving some of the garlic away. She was glad that wasn't one weakness she had. Or Spike would have killed her. Then she looks to Slade, "I'm a New Yorker as well, I work at Mount Sinai so I'm just idly looking at things here." she admits. "I'm Doctor Morrigan MacIntyre." she offers in introduction to Slade.

Spike has posed:
Spike shakes his head and laughs "I'm from around here actually" Spike nods and thankfully ditches the garlic. he even downs several breth mints, too. Admittedly it goes from garlic to mint. A slight improvement as Spike steps back and looks amused. "You didn't bring your squirt gun. I didn't bring my stake, we're even" Spike nods with a laugh. "I'm joking" he nods to Mo. "You're good people." he shrugs and looks impressed.

Deathstroke has posed:
Slade Wilson attempts another smile, looking at Morrigan with his only ice blue eye, and then at spike when he talks about stakes. Yet he ignores that comment, offering "slade wilson, a pleasure to meet you, doctor..." and he even performs a polite half bow! After all anyways, his name is not entirely unknown, even if not everyone could know about the semiretired adventurer that made a fortune with big game hunting, and that right now is just spending his time in philantropic events and similar activities.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to Spike and there's a chuckle, "You've been here a bit haven't you?" she asks him. "And no, I don't really carry it all the time. Figured the evening might not get as rowdy as my last trip here." she admits. But she doesn't go into detail since Slade seems like a fairly human person. The name makes her quirk an eyebrow, "I've heard that name before. It's a pleasure to meet you." she smiles to him. "I'm sure the Philanthropic community and other adventurers will be happy to have you back in New York." she adds. "It's not like the place is ever boring." she muses.

Spike has posed:
Spike shakes his head and laughs, "Few years" Spike nods. "Got a crypt in Caernarvon. I was on my way back though, but this isn't rowdy" Spike says returning to his car, rolling down the windows, then starts up the car and drives away. A few moments later he jogs back....garlic free as Spike grins. "Came here a while ago. Stuck around" Spike nods sagely.

Deathstroke has posed:
Slade Wilson doesn't offer any comments to the, crypt part, preferring to skip over it to just nod at Morrigan instead "well I am quite, hoping those communities will be glad indeed..." he offers as a reply, and if his eye is registering the shop owner's movements while he leaves the shop, his facial expression doesn't give it away, making it seem like he's just focusing on Morrigan and Spike. "well I am sure it will not be hard to find a property around here anyways, doctor... After all, with some of the, rumors surrounnding this place, some people are outright gifting away their homes..." he shrugs slightly, and lifts his left wrist to peer at the divers watch he's wearing on there "and I am afraid I will need to leave you in a bit, unfortunately..."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's eyebrow quirks when Spike mentions a crypt, that's not weird! "It seems like this place likes to collect people with big personalities." she admits. Then there's a look to Slade, "Yeah, the reputation of the place is a bit neat, but don't think I want to deal with all the weirdness. I can get that in New York just as easily." she smiles. Then she's standing, slipping a card from a card case and she hands it to Slade, "If you ever need a pathologist for something, or just want to stop in. Give me a call." she chuckles. "Think I should get going as well." she smiles.

Spike has posed:
Spike, meantime looks back to them and grins. "You mean you can tell whatt I did from dust piles? Well crap" he says and runs off. Literally, runs off toward his crypt. The idea Dr Morrigan can know he staked a vampire scares him.....just a bit.

Deathstroke has posed:
Slade Wilson accepts the card, making it vanish into a pocket of his jacket and smiling in return "I will be sure to keep in touch, doctor... Even if, well, I seriously hope your skills won't be needed, that wouldn't mean anything good for my health and, I'm approaching that age when health starts to be an issue!" entirely untrue, but then, he can't go admitting to all his secrets! He offers a polite nod at the leaving Spike, or at least tries to. "always this odd?" he asks to Morrigan, then just shakes his head, shrugs and then adds "anyways, it was a pleasure, really..." and, that said, turns and starts walking in Spike's opposite direction. There's a car waiting for him a block away, with his costume ready as well... There's some more recon to do...
