Lara Croft has posed:
Lara's jeep arrives outside of the Sanctum Santorum. She'd been calling the number she had to reach 'them' inside but she'd only gotten ahold of Wong who'd told her that Stephen wasn't available. Three times now, the other times nobody had answered the phone at all.

So she strides out of her vehicle, her sunglasses are pushed up to the top of her forehead and she moves to ascend the steps of the rather 'strange' home. Lara's right hand reaches up and she knocks three times upon the door. She's wearing a light SHIELD jacket, over a black teeshirt and gray trousers with black leather boots.

Doctor Strange has posed:
The door opens abruptly and instead of the foyer generally everyone is greeted to, It appears to be a singular room, with candles and a window for light, except the sunlight is coming in the wrong way. The shadows just aren't right.

It is a study as Lara would guess, clued in by the circular table in the middle covered in layers and layers of texts and opens papers and parchment. Against the far wall Stephen sits with his back to the room. He holds up a scared hand and then extends one finger indicating he needs a moment. His other hand jots down notes rapidly, a quill shakes back and forth violently and quickly as he hunches over his work.

"Ahhh." Stephen coos as he leans back and pushes away from the desk turning around, a near happy mood on his face fades abruptly at the sight of Lara. "Oh. It's you." Stephen says, dejected as he steps around his table and closer towards the door. "I thought you were in a 'secret' organization." Stephen asks with a glance towards the SHIELD logo.

Lara Croft has posed:
"What they do is secret in various forms of which some of them I am not even privy to." Lara Croft replies as she steps inside this 'room' and has a quick glance around at its interior before she just looks straight toward him after shutting the door.

"The Winter and Summer spheres are gone." She announces to him then, throwing it out there. "Someone, posing as Thor, came to their holding location and has... taken them. We believe it to be a magic user." She then pauses again, draws in a breath and keeps her gaze leveled upon him.

"Would you have any idea who might've done this, Doctor?" She asks, not wanting to accuse, because that is rude, but he might get that sense from her all the same.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I've done some investigating on my own. The summer sphere was opened and partially used near the river." Stephen says with a cross of his arms before he continues. Stepping closer to Lara, "I can tell you it wasn't Thor. It's no secret that god can't use proper magic, but there is an asgardian touch to the whole plot. I agree." Stephen says pausing to rest against the large table and look to Lara. "Do you have any leads other than myself?"

Lara Croft has posed:
All of this just gets an exhale from the British woman. She finds a place to lean herself as well and she raises her right hand up to dart her fingertips through her loose brown hair on the sides of her forehead. "None." Is her answer to any leads. "You." She says then, glancing up to him. "You're the only lead I have on this at this point. If someone's using the Sphere then... they're likely testing out what it can do. Before they decide to do whatever... ridiculous desire it is that caused them to risk themselves to steal it. I didn't for an instant believe Thor would do such a thing, this isn't his kind of... concern."

Lara just exhales once more. "I've no idea where to go next. I'm no magician. I'm just doing everything I can to keep these kinds of things from harming the... rest of everything. Everyone who doesn't deserve to end up in the middle of this sort've thing."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I agree. My instinct tells me if it's an asgardian causing trouble, then it must be Loki, but that isn't exactly fair, but stereotypes tend to exist for a reason." Stephen says uncrossing his arms.

Lifting his hand closer to Lara, Stephen resumes, "I suppose you wouldn't have access to the bifrost or ... a way to get to New Asgard, if it's still in Norway. I tend to not visit much." The wizard remarks with a shrug of his shoulder, not at all expecting Lara to do anything so brash as arrest him or anything of that nature.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara's arms cross together over her stomach and she shakes her head at his words. "I've had no dealings with Loki." She says. "I've never even met him, that I'm aware of. Though I've been told that he has the ability to mask his identity like, like a shapeshifter." Her mind drifts to the one that killed the President a couple years ago, who was never caught or found.

"I could make a trip to the Avengers Mansion to speak to Thor, he might know how to contact Loki... but no, I've no ability to access to the bifrost myself. The only Asgardian equipment I have are the..." She cuts herself off, not wanting to share that info. She glances back to Strange. "Nothing that would get the bifrost to take me or anyone else straight to New Asgard. I would have to go by plane, unless Thor is willing to assist."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Ah, no, the bifrost wouldn't be used to get to New Asgard. It might be used to get to the other realms and maybe even to the remains of old Asgard." Stephen says, meaning he thinks Loki could be hidden amongst the debris at least. Then he looks back to the door and hmms to himself as he ponders the situtation further. "We have one left on earth at least... and we know Loki- or whoever- will be wanting to collect all four... Maybe a trap is in order. No?"

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara is in the process of pulling her cell phone out to text someone at the Avengers Mansion to let them know she's on her way there, when she hears Stephen speak all of that and the last part specifically makes her stop and look up at him again. "A trap." She repeats. "I imagine it would have to be rather cunning, as I can't believe that Loki is easily tricked, considering... well, its his 'thing' is it not?" She asks of the Doctor then before she slips her phone back into her side pocket on her jacket once more.

"I think we should include the Avengers in on this trap though. At least the ones we know we can trust aren't him in disguise. Perhaps that Miss Maximoff could help. She seemed resourceful and, magically inclined. I would think she could tell if any of us were not who we claimed to be."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen nods and squints at the wall for a quick flash of a moment. "Indeed, but the best idea is to NOT put the sphere in any immediate danger. I. E. We don't actually use the artifact as a trap, we could easily use a fake." Stephen says and then looks to Lara, "We tell--" His hand pops up and with a gesture he holds it before his own eye and then nods. "We tell no one." Stephen says after lowering his hand back down to his side.

Lara Croft has posed:
"It can't be between just the two of us." Lara replies to this, she places her hands on her hips and stares at the Doctor turned Wizard Protector of the World and she just stares at him with a leveled gaze. "We have to include at least Captain Rogers, Thor, Miss Maximoff... I would say they are the top three we would need involved. Though I would feel more comfortable with other magical users that would be on our side for this. If Loki truly did take these artifacts then he's proven that he's extremely resourceful, powerful and cunning. But yes, he'll want that last one, I assume. But where is the other?" Lara then asks. "You had the Autumnal and the Spring spheres, last I knew..."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I'll have to vet anyone we come into contact with. You know as you have already stated, he could be any one." Stephen says with a copy of her motion and his hands go to his hips firmly. The wizard then looks away. "The Spring one is still here in the Sanctum within that cumbersome containment unit while the Autumn sphere I sent away when I got it. I sent it to a forest in the nine realms where I thought it safe from any hands that wished to use it."

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara listens to this and she just gently 'Ahs' at where he says he put the fourth sphere. "I see." She's trying to suss out her feelings on that, he can likely see she's not entirely happy or displeased though. "We should check on it." She then finally does say then before adding. "Just to be sure its still there." Thats because Lara Croft is the kind of person who just likes to have tactile proof that things are real, that they're tangible and not just... wishes or hopes. "Its likely safe from Hydra in such a place, but is it safe from Loki there?" She then asks before she inhales and nods her head softly once.

"I'll contact the others and let them know. Are you able to make a facsimile of the one we'll use to bait him with?" She then asks, which may or may not be insulting to him, who's to say but him!

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Certainly. To both questions." Stephen says as he starts to walk towards the doorway and places his hand upon the bronze handle that he begins to twist. "Now, if you'll excuse me Lara, I have much work to do if I'm to copy a weatherly sphere. You have much to do as well. With your conversations with the Avengers. Do take care and at the moment: trust no one." Stephen says as he opens the door and it's back to the street.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara does move toward the door as the Doctor her guides her out and as she goes she stares at him on her way toward the now open front doors back out to Greenwich Village. "I rarely ever do." Lara tells him in response to his final words. "I'll be in touch, or they might." She says, speaking of the Avengers more than likely. Her right hand goes up to drag her sunglasses back down over her eyes as she steps back out into the dull blocked sunlight of a Manhattan city canyon streetway, her Jeep just a few paces away.
