Central Park Shenanigans

Synopsis:	Jubilee finally meets Tim Drake.

Jubilee has posed:
It's nearing midnight in Central Park, and from somewhere off to the eastern portion of the park, there are lights. Faint lights, that seem to be moving, somehow. The wooded area surrounds a lake, and the colored lights are coming from somewhere inside those woods. No one seems to be around who either notices or cares, for the most part. Jubilee seems, as far as she can tell, to be alone.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake has been in the city for work a bit of late, and has taken to suiting up and doing patrols in the park and other places. spotting the lights from a bit away he starts making his way there. He is quiet and keeps to the shadows but moves with a purpose.

Jubilee has posed:
Upon arriving near the scene, anyone seeking to check into it would find one Jubilee, dressed in cutoffs, a turquoise spaghetti strap tanktop, and flipflops, standing at the lake's edge, and tossing little balls of light into the water, resulting in a quiet "bloop" and a flash of color from beneath the surface.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will end up on a branch over watching the lake, for a few moments making sure nothing bad is going on before he says "You know, the park can be a dangerous place at night." He says from his shadowed perch

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee startles, looking up and around at the shadowy trees. Not finding the owner of the voice, she looks back down at the lake and tosses another plasmid ball of pink light into the water. Bloop. "If you're scared, you can stick around, and I'll protect you," she replies with a mischievous smile. Her hair is pulled up, and a pair of brass goggles are nestled amidst her hair atop her head.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake chuckles softly and says "I am a bit more concerned for your well being." He will say and he does drop out of the shadows. The first thing you see is the staff similar to gambits, but thats the only thing that is alike as the young man smiles a bit at her.

Jubilee has posed:
"Whoa, hi! Out stalkin' people much tonight? Jubilee asks as the figure appears from the treetops. "Oh hey, you're a good guy. I've seen your picture somewhere," she adds, as she looks him up and down. "Well, just because you're a good guy, doesn't mean you aren't stalkin' somebody. Who is she? SOME femme fatale, out for a jog? Or are you checking up on someone? Or do you have a cruuush on somebody?" Jubilee asks, wiggling her finger in Tim's direction. "Which one ARE you, anyway?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smirks and says "Red Robin, and I was out making sure none were up to no good in the park tonight, and saw some odd lights, and thought I would make sure no little grey guys were up to no good.

Jubilee has posed:
"Oh right, gotcha! Nope, I'm USUALLY up to no good, but tonight I think I'm bein' VERY good," Jubilee replies with a chipper smile. "But your service is much appreciated, Red Robin!" Yummm.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake 's brow raises and crosses his arms looking at her, and "Who may I ask are you, and what no good are you normally up to?" He studies her trying to look all serious and such.

Jubilee has posed:
"Oh I'm usually just annoying someone by bein' me," Jubilee replies, her shoulders sagging a little at the admission. "Nothin' naughty or anything, just...yeah." She shrugs, and her arms fall silently to her sides. "I'm Jubilee. You don't have to look like the spankin' patrol, though. I don't do anything THAT wrong."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake chuckles a bit and says "I only spank on special occasions." He tells her. He nods to the water, and says "Mutant power?" You do know there are things out and about that you should be careful about right?

Jubilee has posed:
"Yeah," Jubilee says softly. A quiet lament. "The sentinels. Thry're everywhere. But they don't know where I am now, so I just wanted a little time alone, I guess. I'm glad YOU came along, though." She scrutinize him for a long moment before grinning and deciding he probably hasn't caught enough hell today. "What special occasions?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will bring a hand to the side of his mask, and Jubilee may catch he subvocals something as she talks and as she finishes he smiles and says "Well that is something you have to have special clearance to know." he does seem tp relax a bit more now. He will hit a button on the staff and it retracts to the size of a roll of coins or such and he attaches it to hid belt. "Something or someone bothering you, that you needing alone time?"

Jubilee has posed:
"Just this whole thing with the Sentinels, really," she replies softly. "It's got all of us scared. No mutant is safe. It's just...It's so scary." Jubilee pauses her smile as she answers, shaking her head with a sigh.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head and will move to put a hand gently on her shoulder, and says "I have some friends that I worry about with them, I can understand partially from that but have to admit, it has to be different when they are after you compared to after people you know.

Jubilee has posed:
"It's be all right, Red Robin," Jubilee replies softly, and resolutely. "I have faith that the people who know what they're doing are gonna be able to get rid of the sentinels. Somehow." She shrugs, and looks back up and Tim, holding her gaze there for a long moment.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "Well, I do believe we have a few mutual friends who are working on it, and I have offered my aid to one of them in particular if there is anything I can do to help. " He will give her shoulder a soft squeeze, and let his hand slide down her back and off of her as talks.

Jubilee has posed:
"Thank you, I appreciate your help," Jubilee replies, shaking her head. "I don't know how this whole thing is gonna end. You've very kind to help, though. There are still good people in the world."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "Well you should get in somewhere and make sure your safe. Tell Kitty I said Hi, and keep safe." He tells her reaching to his belt he pulls a grapple and fites it at one of the nearby lamp poles and does a spidey impression. That is so much easier with tall builds neaby.
