David Akenda (207) has posed:
The last time David went out alone into the backyard or down to the lake he had gotten approached by a League of assassins member for Recruitment. And fearing others the ones who are after him will track him down it made david once again for several weeks stay inside hidden. Keeping away from windows. Acting like he's paranoid, well you are only parinoid if you don't really have people out to get you.

David Does have people trying to kill him. Storm met two of them in central park.

For now David is outside in the backyard attempting to meditate clearing his mind. He has seemingly started to improve at least. His anger is still there, but he is showing signs of depression, a total exhaustion seems to wash over him mentally, when forced to deal with it. David's hands his fingers are touching the soil as he medatates.

What few know is that he has his wires spread out about six inches under the topsoil, using them as pressure sensors should anyone approach within fifty feet of him.

He can even feel the worms and such that brush by one of his wires, crickets. All that. As he just tries to keep his mind clear.

Wolverine has posed:
Another day. Logan walks out of the garage and into the back yard, his beer long gone, but his cigar about half way there. Stopping to take a moment to adjust the the different light, Logan puffs on the cigar, and stares up at the clouds. With a short, "Hurumph" he moves further into the back yard.

Logan was currently wearing a dirty set of blue jeans, the signs of the work he was doing in the garage evident by the handful of greese stains on them. His white t-shirt is similarly stained, with the only thing semi-clean being his worn leather boots.

Noting there was one person in the backyard, Logan sniffs, nods, and says, "Afternoon kid. Whatcha doing out here this time of day?" Logan looks directly at David, letting him know that he was whom he was speaking to. This was the person that Ororo had asked him to speak to. So, he would speak to him.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
David's Wires spread out from him to about 50 feet like a spider web and as people get closer it does alert him. Well they have uses other than being weapons. His uses for them limited only by his imagination. And he allows them to vanish when Logan speaks to him. He had heard from the other students Logan's love of Cigars. "Trying to meditate to clear my mind. I have been attempting to find ways as the teachers want to stop the rage. But it's... not easy." Slowly he rises with grace that tells Logan of a martial artist.

David understands there are those who walked the path of vengence and he has tried to let it go. "How can I help you Mr Logan?" he says with Respect. David is from a high class Japanese family. Teachers and elders are to be respected.

Wolverine has posed:
Logan takes a few seconds, letting the smoke from the cigar waft around his head like a dim fog. The tendrils of the smoke curl lazily out of his mouth, as he exhales, regarding the man across from him with a thoughtful, appraising air. His eyes scan up and down David, taking everything in.

"Meditation. Huh. Tried it. Doesn't work fer me. I tend to remember all the things ah've seen, and what ah've seen ain't nice." Logan shrugs, and moves a bit closer.

"Yeah, I heard you were havin' difficulties. 'roro asked me to check in on ya. See if I can help ya. I know all about rage and hate and anger and vengeance." Logan peers for a moment, stands up straight, and bows, not too deep, but deep enough. After all, Logan tries to follow bushido, and he returns David's respect with respect of his own.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
IT's clear that David knows the talk and says. "Learning Meditation tends to work best if you start short. Such as a minute every few days. Then after a week add another day until every day you are meditating for a minute. Then try to add two minutes and after a week three. A timer can help sir."

"Rage and vengence, yes and I can understand both sides. The pain it causes, and the desire. As well as having Read Moby Dick, seeing what it cost Ahab. But at the same time, I would gleefully kill Kaji, I would kill everyone of his clan down to the last child."

As he keeps his emotions as even as possible, "And at the same time, I am compounded by the fact it was the Emperor who gave the order to wipe their clan out."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan peers at David, just for a second at the short comment, and realises that it wasn't an attempt at levity. "Yeah." Logan grunts. "Heard it all before, kid. Some of the greatest meditation masters in the last hunnerd years done tried that. Doesn't work. Still try though. I'll try the timer thing. Thanks fer the advice." Logan allows himself a smile.

"Well kid, I am here to talk. So let's talk about it." Logan takes the cigar out of his mouth with his right hand, so David can understand him better. He listens to the man's words, about the clan, the Empperor, about "Kaji". "I take it this is all in the past? How does this impact you now?"

David Akenda (207) has posed:
"Long story made short. 700 years ago My Clan discovered The Kaji clan was invoking demons from the underworld, hell what ever." It's clear he's spoken of it repeatedly, "And basically interbreeding with demons. The Emperor considered this perversion and a threat to him ordered my clan to wipe the Kaji clan out. Every last child to cleanse the stain even the babies and new borns. My Father told me the story and was never proud of it."

"Well my ancestors missed one. And in all that time the Kaji clan has worked to rebuild their might, and since the end of World war two, been systematically slaughtering my family until a couple years ago, my father and I were the last of the blood line. Togashi Kaji who had been a close friend of the family, he was my godfather, I called him uncle."

"He revealed the slaughter then murdered my mother, my father, and then tried to murder me. Even two police officers in Japan were there to question me, simply drew their guns at me and tried to kill me. I've been running ever sense always a step or two ahead of them. Until Mr Summers saved my life and brough me here."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan doesn't say much now. He prefers to remain silent, and let David explain what was going on in his world. Logan was familiar with a lot of Japanese history, having lived there several times over his nearly 2 centuries of life. He knew the traditions, the darkness, and the history. As David continues to speak about his family, ancestors, and enemy.

Nodding, Logan says, "Wow kid, that's rough." Logan tries to take the gruffness out of his voice, but it was hard. It was who he was. "I can understand yer blood oath and yer debt to your clan. I can also understand vengeance. I know it well..."

Logan sighs, a slight exhale of breath as he replaces the cigar into his mouth, savoring it for a moment, and then taking it out again to exhale. "It was good that Cyke was there ta' help ya'. Now, we are here ta' help ya'. I know Charlie won't condone violence unless absolutely necessary, but ah'll be here fer ya' if ya' need me."

David Akenda (207) has posed:
As David nods and says. "You have been to Japan haven't you sir? You understand the culture. I would be more than willing to just forget about the whole thing, if they would stop hunting me. But if they do have demon in the blood, nothing short of eradicating them will work. Well there is reconstructive surgery, maybe a magical charm to hide me from Scrying if the Kaji clan uses it. and faking my death." he says.

Then the signs of Fatigue come over him, as he looks to the Lake. "First time I left the house since I arrived. I went down to the lake. I got approached by an assassin for recruitment by Ra's Al-ghul. I know Mr Braddock wasn't happy with it." he says. "By the time I wrestled with the fact I needed to tell staff into telling almost a full day had passed."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan nods, and chuckles. Now that was a strange sound coming from this gruff old warrior. "Once or twice kid. Once or twice." Logan's eyes cloud over with memories for a moment, remembering the good times...and the bad. "Been there. It is one of the few places that I love with all my heart...and hate almost as much. Lotsa clouded emotions when I think of Japan, kid. It was where I left my heart." Logan sniffs absently, and manages to replace the cigar in his mouth again.

"Anything tha' team can do to keep ya' hidden, and we'll do it. Maybe Magik or Chuck can do somethin' about hidin' ya. Hmmm..." Logan nods, and adds, "As fer the killin' them, I think tha' team would have a hard time with that."

"Well, here we are then. I wouldn't go takin' no recruitment offer from Ra's. Take it from one who knows...that is not a good path. We'll see what we kin do, and go from there. As it is, you have our protection."

David Akenda (207) has posed:
as he is thinking he says, "It has occured to me that I might be attempting to handle the rage wrong. Simply trying to relax to let it go only seems to make it simmer. How do you handle your rage? What means do you emply to releaive the pressure. Your uh, temper is known by some of the students who warned me not to get on your bad side." he says with a respectful smile.

Wolverine has posed:
"Yeah, could be." Logan nods in agreement. "Someone once put it ta' me this way. Rage is like a river. You can put a damn up to stop it in tha' short term, but sooner or later, the water is too much, and it breaks through." Logan snorts, and adds, "Handle tha' rage? Well now, that is the million dollar question." Logan says, "Beer and cigars mostly. Punching thigs helps." Logan chuckles again, twice in one day.

Logan tops the man's chest with his left index finger. Just above his heart. "In here is how you determine it, kid. Each person is different." Logan shakes his head at the comment about the students warning him about Logan. "Ah'll be honest. It is sometimes the comraderie of the school. My walks with 'roro. The laughs with 'crawler. Watching Pete draw. The breeze over tha' water. And what really helps me...long drives on my hog, with the wind in my hair. Oh, and a tall, cold Keith's." Canadian beer from the East Coast.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
As he thinks on the Alcohol he says. "I don't think the teachers would accept me drinking Beer at my age. And Cigars while the smell is nice I uh, don't have the healing abilites to handle it." he says with a smile.

"I always enjoyed and found my Kendo and sparing to be relaxing and enjoyible. Even against my Father, it was soothing and relaxing."

Wolverine has posed:
"True. Alcohol may not be yer answer." Logan agrees. "Yeah. Plus, I'd rather keep my stash of cigars intact." Logan nods. "Kendo is a good choice. I am familiar with it. I am sure there are others here who would be happy ta' help ya' out, and spar with ya."

Logan drops the last remnants of his cigar on the ground, and stamps it out. "It will help you deal with those feelin's a rage and anger. Good idea." Logan smiles, and adds, "Welcome ta' the School, kid. We're here fer ya'. Don't let it over take you."

David Akenda (207) has posed:
David Smiles, "Yes sir. I will keep your words in mind as best I can. And Thank you for the safety you have offered me here."
