Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Robin (Wayne), Stardust

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
For Damian it started at sun down yesterday, as he had finally decrypted the code to Q's Journal earlier. He searched names, faces, and got himself aquanted with the people involved in Gotham following what little leads he had. In the back of his mind he hated to think of it, but there was another group that was suspect.

After realizin he was invited, he flew back to the Tower as the Sun rose again, and landed quietly with no fuss since he had his key this time. Going to his room he took a shower, changed into work-out gear going to the Gym. There he has been working out since just thinking, putting the facts of what he knew straight as he just continued to work out. That was several hours ago as he is even now doing pushups vertically not even counting anymore just lost in thought as this was more to practice balance then muscle.

Stardust has posed:
"Are you going for the record? Bet I could beat you." Colette's voice interrupts the silent workout. "Actually scratch that. I'd get bored before you would. " When Colette first turned up at the Titans, she wasn't what you'd call unfit. She had the athleticism of someone who'd been serious about sports at school, but compared to what Damian had been used to pretty much his entire life? Well, let's say that leaves something to be desired. She may be a flippant as hell and sometimes rather an unwilling participant in the superhero biz, but to give her credit, she does work on her fitness and she's come a long way. Could she actually beat Damian at a push-ups contest? Possibly. She's well below his fitness levels still, but then she does have a bit of superstrength to help out.

Colette is decked out in some fairly conventional gym wear, black cycle shorts with colored chevrons and a matching gym top. It's probably actually something she put on rather than a modification of her costume, which she can through somewhat mysterious means seem to turn into all kinds of variations. Normally though, whatever shape her costume takes, it's some variation on the same whites and pale grays. That changes occasionally, but observation would suggest it's harder for her to do, because normally her instant changes retain the color scheme.

She strides into the room, putting down a backpack and a towel on the floor by the doorway, brushes her hands together and leaps up into... no, she's flying. It looks like a leap, but she almost certainly can't jump ten feet straight up. She grabs onto a pair of steady rings suspended rather higher than normally, lifts herself up and over into an inverted position, and holds it. "How's things, Robin? You read the message I sent out?"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian doesn't stop just sighs a bit as he goes his body shape very different. Muscle sure, but it was lean as if crafted to be a specific shape for best use. That was just the way Damian was, and most of the time this was why though there are a few cracks. As he is upside down the T-Shirt drops to show the scars of his life. He was not invinciable, and it was a hard life at Guild. His body had taken some hits, though he was in excellent shape otherwise. Finally as she grabs onto the rings he leans back feet touching the ground as he pulls himself up.

He is wearing his all black T-Shirt, and his workout shorts as he always does not really dressing up to work out though he does have shoes by the door. He walks over a bit, and grabs some lighter weights, "Not well... I ended up decrypting that notebook. Ends up." he lifts some weights though he angles himself to stand where he can see her reactions. "Turns out Tim is right someone is trying to set him up." he lifts a couple times letting that sink in. "Problem is... was about two months ago April 23rd." he gives a small not frown. "Can you imagine trying to figure ou where you were two months ago? I mean.. Do you know where you were the 23rd?" he gives a bit of a scoff noise.

He turns, and goes for a waterbottle to cool down a bit while they talked. He did need to go out tonight, an he had a few people he needed to take off his list of suspects. He turned to look at her, he really didn't think it was her though he had to check she fit the profile with no-one to suspect her. He wasn't even sure what he would do if it was, turn her in or help her hide it.

Stardust has posed:
Colette lowers herself slowly, arms going straight out by her sides, and holds it for a few moments. She pulls her arms back in, feet raising again. She really has got better. "23rd April?" she repeats, frowning slightly. "There's something familiar about that date. Isn't it Hitler's birthday or something?" She drops suddenly, legs swinging down to point at the ground, the shift in wieght causing the sprung cords attached to the rings to bounce her down and up again. Her legs come up straight into a sitting position, which she holds.

"I have two questions," Colette asks, after she's had a moment to settle in position. "First, why would anyone want to set him up? Second, how are they setting him up? And third, why would you need to remember where you were on the 23rd of April? Do you suspect yourself? Three questions."

It's hard to know, with Colette, what she's actually asking. It's possible she suspects the real reason behind Damian bringing it up like that. She does, after all, know he's a suspicious sort. On the other hand, she could genuinely think that Damian suspects himself. This is Colette. Both options are entirely feasible... and she does have a rather good poker face, at least when she's calm.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian shakes his head at her, and drinks some water leaning quietly against the wall, he looks at her with that calm look, and thinks about it. "First no, three days off, and second no I do not suspect myself. I only ask because I was considering the common mind, and what they can remember."

He sighs a bit, and shrugs looking at the weights as he starts to juggle them lightly. "I mean normally if one asks the common response is I don't remember" he stops with the weights and looks at her, "I mean if you don't remember it is fine, most can not I wouldn't take anything by it." his tone calm like he understands her limits.

He tosses the weight up, to catch it on the way down with a quick grab only to do it again. "Though I am also too short to be the killer, not to mention there are other things that rule me out." Toss, grab, Toss, "I just didn't have the strength for it." he looks directly at her as he says it, though grabs the weight without looking to toss it again just silently watching her.

Stardust has posed:
Colette is silent a while. She stretches her arms out again, holds, then lets herself drop. This time she uses the momentum and elasticity of the ropes to somersault back up and over, then lifts herself up into an inverted position and holds there. "Too short," she repeats flatly. "Was the victim particularly tall? Was he standing on a ladder at the time? As for strength, well that's interesting. Someone stronger than you. And they're trying to frame Red Robin. Interesting. So you're saying he's stronger than you? I'll keep that in mind. Maybe I'll challenge him to an arm wrestle some time."

Well that's a little awkward. Is Tim stronger than Damian? He's older, and taller, certainly. But does 'Nerd Robin' outmuscle 'Stabby Robin'? Maybe. Would Damian admit that? Another question. She may be getting suspicious. Or she may simply be amused at the notion of armwrestling Tim.

Colette does a quick drop and flip again, going into a double somersault and then twisting off the rings for a dismount. That's where it gets weird. She lets go at the top of the flip, legs pointed upwards, and dismounts towards the ceiling, which she lands on lightly, to look down at Robin, standing upside-down in contravention of the normal rules of gravity.

Damian has seen her pull off this kind of stunt before. She can fly, but the 'voices in her head' like to train her to use that in rather unconventional ways. Such as flying upwards while upside down, to simulate standing on ceilings. It's a bit weird, but they are aliens. And Damian does know first hand that their methods are rather effective. Colette has far less combat training than Damian has, but when she doesn't follow the normal rules of balance, centers-of-mass and gravity, sparring with her is a honestly an unpredictable pain in the ass.

"Come on Robin," Colette says, crossing her arms and raising one eyebrow. "What aren't you telling me? You're circling around the issue."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian just shakes his head at her, "It is a family thing we grow very quickly." to her Too short line as it seemed to bug him a little bit. He glances at her, and sighs. He thinks about it though he lets her do her stunt he just shakes his head at her, but doesn't say anything letting her talk and act. He mearly looks at her, and says nothing for a bit letting the silence follow instead of answering her. He was begining to worry that he would find her innocint just because she couldn't plan something this complicated out.

After a long silence Damian reaches into his shoe, rising slowly moving towards her. "Any black-outs recently, any lost time? Have you ever heard the name Alice Adair?" he asks quickly after, "Do you and Tim have something going on?" Each question he watches her each time quickly he asks trying to throw her off just that little bit.

Stardust has posed:
Colette's face remains impassive through the list of questions. That's not a good sign, because it means she's suspicious. Awkward questions intended to get a reaction is Colette's favorite technique too, and the pair have used this gambit on each other in the past more than once. Even occasionally succesfully. It's possible that line about his being too short was her pulling the same thing on him. If he'd caught her by surprise with it, it might very well have worked - she can certainly be a bit fiery at times, but when she's prepared she does a good line in impassive.

"Lost time? I lost millions of years once," she says slowly. "Gained it back though. Had to fight a dinosaur on the way. More recently than that? Yeah. Most days, but very rarely more than a second at a time. It's my powers, you see. Kind of how they cope with excess kinetic energy." This is definitely Colette in awkward mode.

She leaps up... down, to be more gravitically accurate, and somersaults in mid air to land on her feet in front of him. "You're not stupid. So you've got a reason for this line of questioning. Cut the fucking bullshit Damian. You want an answer from me, ask the real question."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian watches her, and walks forward he is used to impassive it is part of the front everyone puts on some better then others. He just watches her quietly her actions, what she says and how. She did answer one of the questions though, and her own suspision told him more then she might of liked.

He watches her somersault in the air landing infront of him he looks at her, "So Yes, No, and.." he looks at her again "No.." the last no is a bit slower, but if she and Tim had something going that same fire would of taken over. He mearly holds out what is in his hand it is and Orange that he brought to eat on. "I have asked what I need to find my answers."

He calmly pulls part of the precut orange and offers her one. "The real question is not asked, only answered." he says holding it out looking at her. "Or so they say.." if she does not take it then he will mearly nod, and eat it himself.

Stardust has posed:
"Cut it out, Damian." Colette raises an eyebrow at the orange slice and shakes her head, but oddly there's a smile there with the refusal. She doesn't seem pissed at him, though perhaps a little disappointed. "Someone got murdered. You think someone is setting Red Robin up for it. No, there's nothing between me and him. I barely know him. That doesn't explain why you're asking me. I mean, you have no reason to think I'd have a grudge with him. And I'm hardly the killer type. I mean yeah, there was that one guy, but it was pretty much him or the rest of the world." She gives a shrug. One is a tiny kill count compared to the ex-assassin she's talking to, after all. So, there's something you haven't told me."

Walking around him, Colette fetches a couple of weights and holds them out at arms length, and starts twisting rapidly and jerking to a halt, using the momentum for resistence training. "It's got to be someone who knows his real identity, right? That's why you're asking me. Because not that many people do. And you think need to check them all, because you're an obsessive perfectionist, and honestly a bit of a... doofus. Why would I want to frame him? More to the point, if I did want to get at him, why would I bother framing him for a murder when there would be many more effective ways I could get at him? Which to be honest you might wanna ask about anyone else who knows his identity. That's a way to get at him right there."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian eats the orange quietly listening to her, and nods at times agreeing though not with the doofus part. He quietly eats another slice as she goes to ask him questions waiting for her to ask what she wants before he starts. He mearly stops eating for a moment holding what is left of the orange thinking about saving it for later, "I have many names on my list, though many I will not even speak to." he pauses thinking about it, "I will hunt them in the night, and I will look into their live, their history, nothing will remain hidden. They will never know." he does descide to eat another orange slice so there is a pause before he continues.

"When I find who did this, in all those other cases I will be sure Gordon gets them. You have done your part, saved many lives, but before I made that offer I needed to see if it was true." he shrugs, and gives a small grin, "None of that answers your questions though, "Why you, your the same general shape though him because he is more athletic. Blood Splatter is a science of ranges, and yours fit into that category. So I ask some quesions, get some information. When whoever it is moves again, which they will, I use that information to narrow it down."

He decides to wrap the orange a little bit, "People do wierd things for a lot of wierd reasons. Mad Hatter once stole his own sink.. Found it with him in his cell no idea how it got there." he shakes his head, "I just follow the information that simple."

Stardust has posed:
Colette keeps up her excercising as she listens to his explanation. When he's finished, she nods her head and stops twisting, returning one wieght to the rack and copying Damian's earlier activity with the other, throwing it up into the air and catching it again. "For future reference. I wouldn't try framing someone. Stupid. There are always possibilities their name could be cleared, if they didn't actually do it. There are much more certain ways of dealing with someone."

She throws the weight higher and higher. "So there's a crime scene. And let me guess, some blurry footage? You said same general shape. I'm not sure I should thank you for that, by the way." She flashes him a grin at that. "Any Robin costumes missing? There has to be more to it than that."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian moves over to put his shoes on, and shrugs. "Framing is best to draw a target out, if it was me that is what I would do. Bring him out not thinking by himself, when I would have a trap setup." he explains this just looking out. "Good way to get a target burrowed in. I tried to warn him, but it is up to Tim now."

He walks away a bit then stops, he saw this on a show once and wanted to try it out, the one last question shortly after you walked away so their guard is down, so right as he is stepping away he quickly asks, "One last thing, I know you have been improving yourself, did you even think about electronics I bet Cyborg would help?" he is just out of the door way so he can hear her answer waiting for it before continuing his walk away with a nod.

Stardust has posed:
The weight keeps flying higher and higher until it's going just shy of the ceiling. She may be showing off at this point. "Nah. If I wanted to fix Nerd Robin for good, I'd throw him into space. Nobody would ever find the body." Can she do that? It's hard to be sure. Even she doesn't seem very clear what her powers are actually capable of. She stops the weight tossing as Damian reaches the doorway, but not while it's in her hand. Instead she lets the wieght drop and bounce off her head.

That settles it. She is showing off.

"Electronics? No thanks. I'll leave that to you geeks. " Colette smirks as she bends to pick up the weight again and return it to the weights rack. "I'm spending more than enough of my time learning how to fight and all that kind of thing. I do try to have a life outside all this you know. "

Which probably answers Damian's question, and lets him go on his way.

Back inside the gym, Colette has a sudden thought. She blinks a couple of times and steps quickly to the doorway, leaning around it to yell after him. "Oh I get it. Something electronic was involved. Gonna question Cyborg next?" She burst out laughing and retreats back inside to finish her workout.
