Good Job DA
Date of Scene: 29 June 2019
Location: South Hinkley, Old Gotham
Synopsis: Barbara, Tim, Damian and Stephanie are joined by Question in taking down a group of human traffickers on the docks of Gotham.
Cast of Characters: Spoiler, Red Robin, Robin (Wayne), Question, Oracle

Spoiler has posed:
There was a new District Attorney taking over for the previous one who had left the job for "personal reasons". And like many new governmental justice officials, he set out to make a splash that he would be able to point back to, come election time.

Raids on news-friendly crimes like prostitution and the drug trade were stepped up, which only took focus away from curtailing robberies, muggings and murders. Though they were at least somewhat effective in cutting back on some of the illicit activities they focused on.

The parade of provocatively dressed girls being taken into the police station that played so well on the news, left the proprietors of certain types of establishment short on employees capable of meeting their clientele's needs. When the Batcomputer brought up evidence of a ship associated with human traffickers heading for the ports in Gotham, it was immediately flagged for attention. Other information might similarly have gotten out via informants reporting on what is going on within the organized crime families that run the illegal escort services and cat houses.

The ship is set to dock soon at Gotham harbor. The security that would normally be found patrolling the area are nowhere to be seen as the ship is nearing the dock. A number of men are waiting for the ship. There are a trio of small trucks, about the size of Uhaul trucks, but each non-descript, that have been parked near where the ship will dock.

The spot nearest the ship's destination is mostly open. There is a row of warehouses some distance in from the water. From the warehouses, looking out at the docking spot, there are metal shipping containers, stacked 2 and three high to either side left and right. There is also a movable crane on tracks that can roll up and down the dock, which is close by, the crane's boom hanging out above the docking spot.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake comes stalking in from the far shoreline. He makes sure that he is coming in from a direction different than others. He will report if he sees any guards along the way. He is headed for one of the cranes to have a vantage point, but it takes a bit once inside the yard he has to find freight containers that get him higher and higher closer to his destination.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Not that too far away laying in the shadow of one of the harbor building rooftops Damian waits. If he was needed he would of course drop in, but he wasn't here for that he was watching Tim closely for now, and got this call knowing that he would be here. He wanted to see if Tim would follow his advice, or run off and do his own thing, but to do that had to let him think at least he wasn't being watched so he would act in his natrual enviroment. Right now he has turned off his trackers, and waited like a hunter patiently eyeing his prey from the shadows.

A quick look at his watch, and a back to it, as it had only been three days since he had last slept. He had to keep track as after a couple more he might be effected by sound, or sight wobbling. He still felt clear for now, and so he would wait a bit longer before he took time off for sleep. He was dressed as a Robin should be though his electronics were in a go-bag attached to the small of his back the container to block out sending, or reciving signals. He was technically off the grid, and out of contact though for those who know him this is nothing new.

Question has posed:
Question 's little red Volkswagen has seen better days. It is dented terribly one one side, the fenders don't seem to be perfectly level, and there are plenty of scratches on it all round. Yet somehow the doors operate perfectly, as does the engine... though the amount copious of black smoke it produces cannot have possibly passed inspection. Drawing up a few blocks away he stops it, though it takes a minute for it to stop running.

Question then gets out of the vehicle, walks around to its rear and lifts up its hatch to peek at the engine. Pretending to be a stranded motorist for a while. He then walks towards the Northeast vanishing around a corner, then another, making a circuitous route back towards the docks. He keeps to the shadows, his outfit somehow blending in with the background in them despite their colors. Finally at the corner of one of the warehouses before the open area he peers out carefully, assessing any guards that are standing around. Taking his time to look for their patterns, their levels of attentiveness, and if there are any cameras backing them up. He makes a plan to do a timed run across the open space for the coverage that the shipping containers will provide but he will need to be careful.

There had been word of a smuggling operation going on out here that he had picked up from a rather sour man at a bar. He had been picked up recently by the police and then released and he wasn't too happy for the lost time at his favorite watering hole. A few drinks later and the man didn't care what 'no-face' asked about. He was happy to share. What kind of smuggling he wasn't told but it was something worth looking into. At the very least it will give him more information on how the criminals operate here in Gotham.

Oracle has posed:
From the center of the island that these docks reside upon, Batgirl glides through the night with her cape mostly rigid save for its pointed tips that quietly flutter in the wind in her wake, she makes herself known to the others nearby.

"Stay sharp." Her voice speaks over the comms, knowing full well that they can hear her on this channel, specifically Tim as she could see him on that crane. In fact, she's moving in a wide circle around the crane now and he could likely see her as well as she sweeps around it, out over the water's edge before moving to glide back toward the warehouse roofs where she'll descend to land.

Once down, Batgirl spares a moment to look around the roof before she turns and stalks to the building's edge to peer down at those on the dock, starting to take in numbers with her cowl's scanning quipment, her own natural eyes covered over by black lenses. "These are the types that will likely fire blindly into the night if they're spooked." She adds over the comms.

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler volunteered to join in on the affair when she heard about it. No fancy gliding for her, but the young woman in purple and black quietly slipped into the dockyard and threw her grapple up to make the climb to the top. She gathers the line back in, coiling it in a practiced way as she moves to the edge of the warehouse roof beside Batgirl to gaze down at the docks below.

Four of the men have automatic weapons slung over their shoulders. Another one over by the cab of one of the trucks checked a shotgun before stowing the gun back inside. A few others can be seen to have guns beneath their jackets. It seems a pretty sure thing they aren't waiting for a shipment of Grey Poupon from France.

Do they even make that stuff in France? Or was it just the commercials trying to make it seem fancy?

The ship maneuvers over towards the shore, thrusters pushing it in sideways while lines are thrown to secure it fast. Soon a gangway is lowered down and two members of the crew come off. They have a few discussions and then one goes back on board. The ship has its own small crane that it seems will be put to use, and soon it starts up, moving to begin picking up a first metal cargo container and bring it to shore. Several of the men move closer as if showing an interest in it.

The men are spread out to some degree. No sign of cameras, apparently they don't want what goes on here to be recorded. Three men appear to be sentries, one in the middle of the open area, and one each patrolling the stacks of containers left and right of the docking ship as one looks at it from shore. The rest of the men are spread out between the three trucks and the boat.

Spoiler looks through binoculars, being careful to shield the ends with her hands to avoid any reflected light giving her away. "I can take the sentry on the left," she says. She stows the binoculars and plants her grapple, already moving to slide down the line and begin circling around to where she can get into that set of containers without being spotted.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will flip his thermals on for a moment, know things around here maybe warm, but a bunch of people in one of these containers should be a decent amount warmer than the other ones around them. He will move out onto the crane, moving up to the tippy top of it. He calls out each of the locations he sees the men and makes sure to look at the ship, to make sure he knows how many people it may add to the fight seeing a blue trenchcoat he will tell the ladies "Looks like the Question is here." He will take out one of his robin o rangs, and tap it to activate a digital read out, and makes sure none are around the man in blue, and give it a chuck so should end around his feet. The message flashing an F and a frequency listing.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
As Damian only see's Tim he frowns to himself thinking he would have to beat it into him though before he moves he sees just the flicker of another. He eyes the motion following it, and does something he would not if there were others watching him, a small smile crosses his lips though disapears a moment after. Thinking to himself that Tim could learn, and counting his luck for starting by these buildings not the warehouses as he totally didn't see Bat-Girl until she moved out. He slips over the edge of the building in a wierd contortion so he doesn't leave a silhouette he drops in other containers on the dock for shipping, or reciving the other containers you would normally find on a closed dock waiting for the next buisness day.

He has to suddenly hold perfectly still out of line of sight as a Robin-O-Rang flashes by him, only hearing it a moment before it would of been too late to prevent detection. In his head he swore, at time and his dang drones, as that was way too close. There he waits, watching nearby for the others to descend on this, and take care of it. He will make sure none run away from this on land at least, though does not feel he needs to interfere yet. Welcome to Gotham, bad guys had two things.. Bad attitudes, and big wierd guns.

Question has posed:
Question makes his move, taking long strides he reaches the stacks. However, there is one guard he could not have accounted for walking between the small maze-like rows of containers. A small amount of noise is nessesary unfortunately but his actions are swift and sure. Before the man even notices he has company he goes down with three nerve strikes and a strong elbow to the jaw. There is almost no sound except for that last impact and the clatter of his weapon as it hits the ground.

Question frowns at the weapon that was being carried unstrapped as he eases the man down to the ground and ponders if it is worth while to heft him up and leave him atop of one of the containers. After a moment he decides to leave him there, less chance of being discovered or seen that way and far less noise. He then picks up the man's gun, a Tec DC-9mm with a shoulder stock. He flips a small switch on the side to make it single-fire and undoes the safety, checks the chamber, and the clip. ((Time to move.))Oo. He thinks to himself. He then pauses about to step away and spots a small radio with an earpiece attached to the man's vest. Taking another moment he gathers that up and puts it in his own ear to listen in as he steps away from the fallen guard seeking even deeper shadows and a place to view things from a better vantage point.

Distracted by the guard he had missed the robinrang until the very last second. He picks it up, frowns... he reaches in his pocket and pulls out a very tiny earpiece from inside a velvet bag that was lined with a signal blocking mesh. He puts it into his ear and presses a finger against it for a moment. He says something in a whisper contacting the JL watch tower to patch him into the frequency he was just given. He then whispers, "Ah, I see I am not alone. I guessed as much."

Oracle has posed:
As Batgirl's covered eyes scan around the docks, she notes the U-haul style moving trucks that are unmarked and seemingly prepared for cargo. She looks to Stephanie and the points to them. "Get down there and flatten the tires on those vehicles." Babs tells her friend and partner on this mission before she looks then up to Tim.

"Red Robin, I've marked all the individuals I can see, its not as many as I expected there to be here." Batgirl tells the younger vigilante. "I want you to start to pick off the ones on the outside, we'll try to work our way inward. I don't see any scans of people inside of the containers yet. But they're safer in there than they are out here until we can neutralize the threats out here."

When Question speaks on their comm channel, Batgirl pauses for a moment to let her covered computerized gaze look over to where he is down amongst it all. "You're welcome to help us make this as clean as possible, Question." She says in a calm and almost quiet tone of her voice.

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler moves in amongst the shipping containers on the left, even as Question is dealing with the guard on the right. She waits at a corner, picking one where the moonlight won't cast any shadow out in front for the guard to see. As he nears the corner, he pauses to look back the way he came. Spoiler turns the corner with her segmented staff in hand. She slams one metal bar into the side of his head, moving over to catch him as he falls to keep the takedown silent.

"Will... do... Batgirl," she whispers into her mike, grunting softly as she quietly drags the guard back into a shadowy corner. Puffing for breath by the time she gets him there, she murmurs over comms, "Why'd I have to choose the one who likes pie so much?"

She checks the avenues of approach and then begins making her way forward through the stacks to the spot nearest to two of the trucks. Once there she waits until the sound of the crane gets particularly loud, and then throws a homemade blade at one of the truck's tires. It sticks, air slowly leaking out to deflate it. A few moments later a tire on the other truck is similarly dealt with. "I don't have an approach on the third truck yet if anyone else can take it," she says of the one nearer to the right side of the stacks, across the big open space from her.

The first shipping container is coming over the side now. It is lowered down, and there might be a little extra heat for those with thermal vision, though not a lot. One guard is still on his feet. He's in the middle of open space, but near to the big crane that Red Robin is on.

The man from the ship and one of the men on the dock move over to open up the shipping crate once it is on the ground. The crane is already moving on to get a second. The man pulls out a dark haired girl, maybe in her late teens to early twenties. He grabs her by the chin and turns her head from side to side. "Pretty one. Might keep her in the cab with us," he says, turning to laugh with some of the other men.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will measure the distance, and sets his line length of his grapple. He will jump out and away from the crane to come at the back of the man in the opening. His grapple connected to his belt, so both hands are free, allowing him to grab the thug one hand around his chest, one moving to cover the man's mouth to keep him quiet. counting on the momentum of the swing to knock the wind from the guy and also swing them both up to the top of one of the containers. Tim gives him the comic nerve chop to KO, the fellow, and moves to see if anyone saw him and the disappearance of the guy or as he had planned the man just disappears when none are looking at him.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian waits watching from the shadows as one gets taken down, thankfully being on the outside watching in it was a lot easier to point out. He wasn't trying to rely so much on the tech other then to hide himself so he had to watch closely, and know what was happening to be able to spot the small quick movements. Some guy falling was hard to miss though it had started, and Damian did have the urge to jump in there though as the others move in he is reasured by their percision. He spots a small issue though, and notices the rest are in the open, and it was a risky move to just jump in, maybe do a comic chop, not one that thought out the better move. So Damian picks up a small rock off the dock, as there were always many, and decided to show a better way tossing it over to the edge of one of the containers.

With a "Dang harbor rats" a man moves towards the sound, definetly not the one Robin later grabs, but a different one moving to the sound. Damian nods, as the man is going the exact right way towards the new Batgirl she should see him well head if she didn't hear the sound. If one were to look back to where the rock came from though there would be no-one there Damian already moving to hide somewhere else away from the center.

And that is when he see's Tim, with a sigh he fights the urge to rub the top of his nose. Patience, and timing always were more efficent then rashness, and luck. It had taken his time away to show him that, but sometimes Tim reminds him of what it was, and why one should not. He would have a talk with Tim later about this, but for now he was glad his family was not punished for his rashness this time.

Question has posed:
Question again presses a finger to his ear, though this time more out of reflex than need as it is now vox operated, "... as possible. Certainly," his voice containing something cold in his whispered tones. "One down between the containers nearest the warehouses." he says over the batcom. He makes note of what she said about 'people' being in the containers. He frowns, human trafficers are the worst kind of scum. One way or another this is going to be a mess.

"I have an idea... I can get a group of them in one place, but it will put them on alert. I know at least one of you has a sleep capsule or two." he says. "Objections?" He waits for an answer as he makes his way back to the body of the man he had down a moment ago. Checking him for ID and starting to switch out some of his clothing for his as he prepares for his plan.

Oracle has posed:
Batgirl continues to monitor the situation down below, she watches Spoiler work on the truck tires and she hears her say she can't get to the last one. If she knew Damian was here... but still.

Babs' gaze goes back to where Tim and the Question are, she knows Tim is doing his thing, but when the Question speaks, Babs responds over the comms. "No objections here, Red Robin, assist the Questio--" Barbara's voice is cut off then, like the line was interrupted.

In truth, the door to the roof is opening and two men with Sniper Rifles are stepping out onto the gravel covered surface. Batgirl is no where to be seen on the roof now, she's vanished.

The two men are starting to walk to where she had been though, casually talking to one another as they tote their massive guns, apparently not yet alerted to the situation.

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler does indeed hear the sound, pressing back into the shadows. She's removed some of the purples from her costume, replacing them blacks to blend into the shadows better. And it comes in handy as the man heads her direction as she hides with the folds of her cape, using it to help break up any human shape. Cool blue eyes track the man until he's right in front of her.

There's a flurry of deep purple as the cape goes over the man's head, and a few muffled thuds as her fist pounds the side of his head a trio of times until she feels him go slack. She slides him the rest of the way back into the dark crevice between the shipping crates. "Third one down," she whispers into her mike. "No sleepy time gas on my end, but ready with some smoke when needed.

Meanwhile, no one has spotted Tim's dramatic but effective method of taking out the man in the open and removing his body so it doesn't draw any attention. Most of the men are focusing on the container, gradually walking that way. There are three men, one with each truck still, standing at the backs of the vehicles. Another eight men plus one from the ship are spread out over a 40 foot area near the open container. A second container is being lowered by the crane.

Two more girls are pulled out and examined, moved off to the side to stand with the first. A few more come out, a half dozen now. One of the men nods to another. The latter jogs to a truck, climbing in the cab then returning with a metal case which he hands off to the man from the ship.

On the ship itself, there are eight more men total that can be seen, including 2 in the glass-enclosed bridge.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will mentally go through his inventory, as he sends out a flash that should show on any of the bats who use the HUD display. Giving a check in, giving Barbs a way to reply if she can while still being silent. He will say to Question "Going to have to get them together close, and breathing hard, knock out gas does not work well in the open, the less draft you have on them the better. He will move towards where question is prepped to throw his tablets, waiting for a reply from Barbra.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
As Stephanie takes down the man, and radios in Damian feels he doesn't need to really watch over what is going to happen next. Disable go in take them all out, he guessed it was something to do with that though he would of figured on smoke other then knockout gas. Either way he turns slipping from the dock into the water slowly without a sound as the others move to set-up, and execute their plan slipping a rebreather into his mouth as he goes under. The lens of his mask shift to a better spectrum so his visibility is better under the water as he approaches the boat from underwater.

He doubted that it would come to this, but it was always best to plan ahead he thought as he got to setting up a very small explosive on the propeller of the ship. Since it was docked it would be off so it wasn't that difficult, and if it went off this boat wasn't going any where. Still it would take a little while, thankfully Damian had a lot of practice holding his breath, especially around the cave, though it ment he was not around above water for what may come next.

Question has posed:
Question quickly puts on some of "Bob's" clothing after shedding his own more 'dressy' items and his trench coat. He knows its "Bob" cause his ID says so. He slips on the man's shirt and vest hurdedly tucking things in. This is not the first time he's done this and is practiced at changing clothes in a hurry. "My mask has filters. I'll be fine. Just get it up wind of them." He does one last check on his person for any far too visible tells

He then gets onto the badguy's radio and says... "Hey guys, dis is Frankie... higher ups asked me here ta watch for da capes for you guys. I ran into Bob in da stacks and we were talkin for a second and... I think he's havin a heart attack or somethin. I'm draggin him out, don't shoot my ass and tell me wot ta do? Oh man, I think he's dyin here" he says in a new-yorker's accent.

After a moment he is seen dragging Bob out into the clearing keeping his face turned at the best angle not to be clearly seen and keeping it in shadow so that it's vague contours suggest he has a regular face.

Oracle has posed:
Batgirl has remained yet quiet for at least three or more minutes now up where she had last been. As the others start to progress the laid out plan, as things sometimes do, a monkey wrench is thrown into it.

In the form of a gunshot ontop of the roof where Batgirl had been.

Locked in a heated fight between the two snipers who were both hulking beasts of men, twice her size, Barbara was unable to stop one of them from drawing a gun and pull the trigger. All she could do was snap his wrist down to make the handgun fire off at the ground atop the roof. The second man grabs her from behind and hoists her up, but as she goes she delivers a powerful kick to the trigger puller's nose, shattering the bone inside it.

The big man holding Batgirl up attempts to body slam her back onto the roof's gravel strewn surface, but she squirms out of his meaty arms and is instead up and around atop his shoulders, straddling them from behind, her cape flowing around her shoulders along with her fire-hued hair. Batgirl starts to deliver a series of relentless punches to the large man's temple that she's riding the shoulders of, causing him to eventually drop down to his knees!

As she continues to fight these brutes though...

The gunshot has surely broken their cover, or at least will put the others on high alert.

Spoiler has posed:
The men hear Not-Frankie over the radio, one of them saying, "Who's Fran-" but another cuts him off. "Shit, I told da bastard he ate too much fried shit!" he exclaims. Two of the men move over to help "Frankie" carry Bob out, while most of the others moves to see how he's doing.

The one carrying the case, and another who was the one to open the container, stay over with the girls. As does the one from the ship. The one with the case is one of the men with an assault rifle over a shoulder. Another who was heavily armed was taken down by Tim. There's one in the group moving towards Question.

The second container touches down and the line from the crane retracts as the men move to open it up and check the contents. Another girl pokes her head out of the first container but a man points a hand at her. "Get your ass back inside, bitch!" She ducks back inside.

Spoiler gets out a big handful of smoke bombs. They are not what the rest of the crew has, amounting to the fireworks version but a slightly higher quality than one finds at roadside fireworks stands. She's rigged them to be able to ignite quickly. As she hears the crack of the gunshot, she winces and then begins running along the cover of the container stack, heading towards the water to bring her nearer to where the two containers and the girls are at. "Soon as I'm in range I'm dropping smoke," she says. Which will give Tim a few seconds to try the sleep pellets.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will wait till the man are almost on top of question before throwing his sleep pellets. He will add an extra pellet right into the face of the man with the assault riffle, hoping to make sure he goes down. He does trust Question with handling these guys and as soon as his pellets are thrown, he heads to help Spoiler, hoping the gunfire, and other things will give him a chance to get in to help with the larger group of guys.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
As the explosives are set, and Damian comes up for air he expects most of it to be taken care of. Perhaps it would of, but the unexpected happends that was life, or at least was their life. He scouted what he could diving back under but away to count the people on the boat. He did not want to give away what he had done to the boat, so needed to be careful in his next movements so they did not get tipped on how much trouble they were really in. Thankfully they were causing a heck of a destraction away from the water itself.

Damian was not so nice as his other family though, as he silently takes out his sword. He holds in in his mouth for now as he will need his hands to climb. Also he considered keeping them alive the only real rule as he reached into his go bag he pulles out some gloves that would stick to almost anything metal. He starts slowly, quietly scalling the side of ship on the other side from the docks using the night and his black wet garb to hide him in the shadows using his uper-body to keep him near the hull.

Question has posed:
Question waits for the smoke to billow up to head level before he reacts letting the others lead as they either start to drop or manage to step out of the gas before taking a breath.

He drops Bob letting go as the other two helping him crumple to the ground. Another two also slump to the ground including the one with the Assault Rifle. He then begins his act, "Oh god... oh god! AAARRGGH! What... what did they do to my face my face!!!" He cries out holding one hand to his blank face as he steps out of the smoke, letting his hand slide down revealing it for the remaining two as he raises the Tec-9 with his other.

Question isn't a perfect shot, he just isnt skilled at it as say... Deadshot... but at this range you don't need to be an expert. You just need to know which end to point. *BANG* *BANG* Two shots ring out striking the remaining two in the kneecaps. He hopes the pain is enough to drop them lest he is forced to shoot somewhere more... vital.

Oracle has posed:
The large man that Batgirl downs beneath her legs is left in an unconscious heap on the filthy warehouse roof, face down in pigeon poo and rocks. The other man whom she broke the nose of is gushing blood down his face as Barbara stalks toward him, her black cape and red hair flowing in the wind behind her as he raises his gun up for another shot but she reaches out to grab hold of the weapon and crush it-along with his hand, inside of her exoskeleton-enhanced glove. He shrieks as she smashes the weapon and his digits, then she delivers another punch to his face to send him down onto his ass, out cold.

As Batgirl turns around and walks past the two men, she comes to the edge of the roof again. "Status reports." She asks as she steps up onto the ledge, and off. Her cape flares out on either sides of her as its material goes rigid again and she once more takes flight, headed toward where she can see the scanned signals of her fellow combatants tonight.

Batgirl is in flight now, gliding through the air, scanning for targets to drop down upon.

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler lights the smoke bombs, the fuses kept as short as can be and then throws them. The small pyrotechnics bounce across the open dockyard and around the three men by the shipping containers. They go off and dark purple smoke begins to billow out. It's not nearly as effective of a smoke screen as Batgirl and the pair of Robins are used to working with, but it does provide enough cover to make Spoiler tough to see as she sprints in.

The man with the assault rifle does see an incoming shadow though, firing a spray of gunfire that way, the bullets tinging of metal containers behind Spoiler, who has gone into a slide until her staff is in range of the man's legs. He goes down and there's a cry of pain as the staff crashes into his stomach and head in short order. The former gymnast flips up into a hand stand and delivers a spinning leg kick to the head of one of the men, leaving only a final one to be dealt with, but he's pulling his gun.

The two men who are kneecapped go down, crying out and not reaching for their guns as they see Question has them covered. All of the men on the dock are accounted now except for the one who came down from the ship, who is drawing on Spoiler.

Meanwhile, as soon as the crew on the ship hear the gunshot, they start throwing off the lines and the ship's thrusters shoot out water to push the ship sideways as they appear to be making a run for it.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake heads for the one that is drawing a bead on Spoiler, and as he runs his own staff comes extending out from his belt, and he uses it as a pole vault launching himself into the air. resulting into a floating kick into the aiming man's back, As the man goes down Red Robin spins the staff with a high pitch whistle and slams it into the side of the man's head to knock him out, but skilled enough to do no more damage than maybe a mild concussion. He will step forward offering Spoiler a hand up. "Red Robin and Spoiler, have the freight container area free, but looks like the boat is tring to make it out to open water.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
As the ship starts to pull away from the dock quickly the ship propelling forawrd Damian lets it get just a little disatance from the dock. There would be just a yell followed by gun shots. A blur of black might be spotted over the side of the ship as more guns shots go off followed by more screams. Damian knew not to kill them, but with healing, and maybe a little training most of them would be able to hold a gun again not to mention the others would most likely know how to stop the bleeding.

The screaming doesn't stop, though the gunshots do as Damian is walking to get off the boat one of the men grab his pant leg, though Damian only looks down pointing the sword at his throat applying just enough pressure to slightly bleed. "Tell them Everything.." a deep growly mechanical voice comes accross, before there is a *Whomph* from behind the boat. The man is distracted for only a moment, but it is all it takes for Damian to get back into the water letting the ship cruise to a stop. The guys with guns would be severly injured, but not dead as he took them down quickly, and without mercy to make sure the others on the boat were not shot accidently. He just swims away now leaving the boat, and the people on it to the others let them have this one he was just here to observe anyway.

Question has posed:
Question steps forward keeping the two men covered. "Thats it, gentlemen. Now I'm just going to give you a little anethetic for those wounds of yours..." Letting go of the gun to let it dangle by its strap as he steps between them he clobbers first one, then the other in the jaw droping them to the ground the rest of the way. Question then cranes his neck to make sure he didn't hit any arteries and seeing that the bleeding is minimal for either one he steps away from their bodies.

Question them looks up seeing the boat start to drift away from the dock. "Mine are down... the boat is rolling...." he hears the screams and gunshots and then the crump of explosives under water. "Nevermind, the minitroll must have been busy."

Oracle has posed:
Batgirl swoops over the docks and out toward the boat as it is impacted by the little 'Jersey Devil' that seems to have disabled it. She knows darn well who that is, recognizing his pattern and style from a mile away.

The gliding Barbara comes to drop low over the boat, coming up behind it. Her cape goes fluid once more as she drops out of the sky and lands atop the control cabin of the boat, standing atop it now as it drifts, she stares off at the lights off the distant shore and raises her left wrist up.

"Oracle." She calls up her A.I. "Send a message to the coast guard, they're going to need to get out here and stop this ship from drifting into something." Her A.I. responds with a soft affirmative and then Batgirl turns around then to drop down onto the walkway in front of the cabin of the boat.

She speaks over comms. "Get the kidnapped victims all together. They'll calm down quicker if they can see that they're all okay and we're not harming any of them. Communication through physical acts to show we're the good guys, even if we're dressed... arguably otherwise." She tells the others as she steps into the bridge of the wayward ship.

Spoiler has posed:
The bad guys are all down and can be secured for the police, and their wounds treated to make sure they make it until the cops arrive. Spoiler goes over to the frightened girls, her weapons put away, and speaking to them softly. She can't smile, her face hidden behind her mask, but she does gently dab a cut on one where she was smacked from the look of it. The girls in the second container are brought out, and eventually they are all willing to take a seat.

"Thank you for your help," Spoiler says to Question. Even as she eyes him a little oddly. She's not familiar with him apparently. Going to have to see if someone will download more files from the Batcomputer for her.

Soon the red and blue lights of police vehicles are reflecting off containers and buildings as they enter the dockyards. Spoiler looks over to her compatriots. "Shall we vamoose?" she asks. She turns to look towards Batgirl, giving her a wave even as the Coast Guard is responding they have a cutter en route.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and wraps an arm around Spoiler's waist and with the launch of the grapple, he and her are first to the crane and then to a roof top where he will set her down where they can watch the cops or head on their own ways. Leaving Question to find his own way out, yea maybe Tim is still a little bitter of being accused. "Well not to bad, a night, nice moves out there, but need to keep a better eye on your six."

Question has posed:
Question doesn't wait much for the gratitudes, as soon as it is spoken it is done to his back as he starts to walk off to retrieve his belongings. Before long he is back in his trusty Volkswagon and on his way back to his office located in the narrows. His his little blood red vehicle is just ugly and worthless looking enough to go unmolested in that part of Gotham. The only thing that would have gotten less notice is a Yugo, but those disolved in the rain ages ago having been made of mostly cardboard. VW's are made of steel at least.

Gotham... as dark and corrupt as his home. Its oddly kind of nice here. He thinks to himself as he drives through the dark and shaddowed streets into the poorest part of town.
