Kitchen Conundrum

Synopsis:	Josh meets Hisako for eggs and armour in the kitchen!

Elixir has posed:
Josh, your classic thin, athletic American blond, is in the kitchen. He has his head buried in the fridge and some things are on the expansive island. Eggs, chives, pepper, salt, onions. He rustles around looking for something else though. All that can really be seen around the fridge door are his blue jeans, white sneakers and a bit of a blue t-shirt.

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki is dressed a bit casually. like she's been training and threw some JEans on. She comes into the kitchen, and takes a deep breath. "Cooking? I was just going to get a snack, but I can stay out of your way."

Elixir has posed:
Josh straightens up and looks around the door.

"Hey," he says with a big grin. "I'm trying to cook. But they moved everything. Or they're out of cheese. Probably moved everything.... Oh. It's behind the... Nevermind," he says. He grabs the cheese and closes the door.

"If you're hungry I can make you an omelette? Two's as easy as one."

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki shakes her head "If it's not too much trouble, I don't want you to go without what you were going to cook for yourself." She then goes about pouring juice for two, getting a pair of glasses for the purpose. "Is this a special occasion?"

Elixir has posed:
"Hmm? Oh, they have tons of everything, don't worry," he assures her. "It's not a problem. I'm Josh, by the way. I don't think I've seen you around? I'm not up here a ton, so I don't see everyone," he admits. Josh pulls out a whisk and a bowl, a knife and a cutting board.

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki stops and smiles. "I am Hisako, pleased to meet you Josh. I am a senior here. What brings you here this evening?" She carefully walks the glasses over to the island, setting them each down.

Elixir has posed:
"Senior? Right on," he grins. Josh cuts the chives while he talks. "Well, I was checking on some friends that had a rough night, making sure people are alright, you know? And hey, the food's good, so I thought I'd get some before I go study in the Wellness Centre for a couple hours."

He dumps the chives in the bowl and starts grating cheese. "So did you just graduate, or is that next year? Any idea what you're gonna do?"

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki smiles, pulling up a seat for herself with a soft sigh, and shakes her head. "No I have not graduated yet. But the closer I get to graduation, the harder it is to focus on the last work. I hope your friends are well."

Elixir has posed:
Josh chuckles and nods in understanding. "I know, right? I get like that the end of every semester now. I just want to get it done!"

His forehead creases a little when she mentions his friends. Josh starts cracking eggs.

"They'll be okay, they're tough. Some things just really didn't go the way we expected. It happens," he says with a sigh. Josh taps one of the eggs thoughtuflly on the side of the bowl. Then he smiles again.

"Thanks for the drink," he says and raises his glass of juice to Hisako before taking a drink. "You been at the school long?"

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki settles in, watching his reactions, and smiles. "I have been here for a while now. I always wanted to be here, and to join the X-Men. I am not sure what else I would do, if not that." Then taking her glass, she looks at it, and takes a slow, steady, long sip after her training.

Elixir has posed:
"Oh!" Josh says with a grin. "I haven't been around a lot. I'm on the team though. The medic. You've gotta be training with Sam then, right? For the New Mutants? Or will be?"

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki grins "I've been taking a few training options, but yes, Sam's team. And you're welcome for the juice. It's the least I can do with you cooking. I hope I don't need a medic. If I do, it means I have failed to use my armor correctly."

Elixir has posed:
Josh turns the heat on the industrial grill. It hits quickly and soon he pours the egg mixture in two round dollops.

"Armour?" Josh asks. "Part of your abilities?"

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki nods firmly. "It is so important in my abilities, it is why I am called Armor." Her head lifts and she looks across to watch the eggs cooking. "Do you cook those often, Josh?"

Elixir has posed:
"Armour? See now that's a cool nickname. Jerks started calling me Elixir. What kind of name is that?"

Josh pulls a spatula out of a nearby drawer. "I do, but just for myself. I'm not making any promises it's any good."

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki lifts a finger. "Elixir is powerful. It is better than a hi potion and a hi ether in one, so much so that most people save it instead of using it. I'm sure it will be very good, too."

Elixir has posed:
Josh looks over at Armour and then bursts out laughing. "It's bad that I'm such a nerd I know what you're talking about!"

He flips the omelettes. "Okay, so you'll be the tank? I guess I'm the cleric. We'll make a great team!" he jokes.

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki shrugs. "I have the best armor, and I can withstand Masamune. Of course I will take the hits. It just makes perfect sense." She then looks at him as though she's not kidding.

Elixir has posed:
"Sephiroth can bring it then," Josh grins. "Awesome, here we go."

Josh plates up Hisako's omelette and passes it to here. "Remember, I warned you!"

"I gotta come watch you in the Danger Room some time. I wanna see this armor!"

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki sets down the plate, and stands. Lifting her arms, her feet rise from the floor, and a glowing aura surrounds her body, the armor forming with herself at the center of it. "Here it is! You're fre to test it. Just don't use a laser."

Elixir has posed:
"Oh damn! That's awesome!" Josh says. He cocks his head and looks at her shielding, then cuts into his omelette. "Why no lasers?" he asks with a mouth half-full of egg.

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki smiles, as she slowly lets the armor dissipate, dropping her feet back to the floor. "The armor doesn't block light, which is how you can see through it. That includes laser light, unfortunately." She then picks up the plate. "Thank you for the food." She then leans in to taste a bite. "It is very good."

Elixir has posed:
"Oh right, that makes sense. Would suck if you were blind," he says with a grin. "You're welcome, glad it's not like, choking inducing."

Josh takes another bite and looks at Armor. "So, when you're not studying and floating in mid-air with super mega-shields, what do you do?"

Armor has posed:
Hisako Ichiki nods and smiles. "I train, and I do my shoolwork. Speaking of, I'd best do that before it's too late. Thank you again, Josh."
