Rolling Into Town

Synopsis:	Sam welcomes Alex home.

Havok has posed:
It's been a while since Alex has been within Xaviers. Outside of a sliding time scale, it could have been months. Last reported, he was living in Mutant Town being a local X-Man(ish) hero. In addition to that, he spent time in Genosha working for Magneto as an acolyte (not brotherhood). Suffice it to say, adventures were had.

    But, as par for the course, unannounced and with little warning, Alex finds himself on the grounds of the beautiful Xavier Estate. He's rolling up in his red, 2-door, lifted Jeep headed toward the garage area for decent parking. The soft top is down and who knows what the weather may bring. So he's hoping for a slot to shelter his jeep in case it rains. He rolls to a stop, puts it in neutral and pulls the hand break.

    Currently, Alex is dressed in hiking boots, jeans, and a black unstable molecule t-shirt that hugs his muscular form quite tightly. His hair is nicely kept short.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is under the hood of an older model small station wagon. Not old enough to be an antique but old enough to be cheap. It has seen better days but it still has some miles in it. He will stand up and brushes his hands off on his jeans "That should do it." He says mostly to himself. He will turn to see who is about, offering the man a nod in greeting as he sees wh0o it is.

Havok has posed:
Exiting his Jeep, Alex will start walking toward Sam. It's been a while since he's seen the youth, which really isn't the same 17year old Sam as before. When their eyes meet and the recognition sets in, Alex will smile and say in a raised tone of greeting, "Sam. Hey man, how's it going?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will look for a bandana and wipe his hands a bit more, and offer the other man a hand shake "It's going ok, how you doing Alex?" Sam's shake is firm but not trying to crush the other man's hand or anything. Scott know your back around or you surprising him?

Havok has posed:
Offering the glad hand, Alex will grip Sam's with his warm grasp (temperature wise). He'll present as happy to see Sam. As it is with all the original New Mutants. Alex has always favored them. He answers, "I figured I'd surprise him. Though I didn't even bother to check if he was around."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and says "He is, might be a bit busy now, Jean and he run the show around here with the Professor out and about. You going to stay awhile, Ah can set you up in a guest room, or find ya one for a bit longer stay if your wanting it.

Havok has posed:
Alex hooks his thumbs into the pocket corners of his pants and answers, "Yeah, I'm in for a bit. But; wait, the Professor is gone? Where did he go?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "He is recuperating, he was shot at a protest a month back or so. He is ok, but he needs some time to heal, and worrying about the school and such was not added stress he needed. Jean covers most of the school stuff, Scott handles his team, and I am in charge of the Jr classmen."

Havok has posed:
"Oh damn..." Alex says quietly with some regret of not being present within his mind. He continues with the suggested segue of Jean and Scott, "I'm glad that they've both stepped up. Though I always knew Scott would take the role. Good to see Jean there too. Hang on, are they a couple now? Or is that still over? Or the other reality?" Alex has a moment of confusion <reality displaced memories>.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie ;'s brow raises and says "Scott, and Jean a couple? Na, don't think so. To be honest, they both seem to busy to date. Speaking of people folks have dated Lorna is frequenting here quite a bit.

Havok has posed:
There's a moment where Alex has a flash when Lorna is mentioned. An audible grunt or hummm of disappointment, maybe a deep regret. Alex says, "Yeah... Thanks man." - a simple response of appreciation for the heads up. Then he looks back toward the mansion. Then to the garage. "Hey, you got an empty stall? I need to park my Jeep in case it rains."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms, and says "Should be one over on the end, lot of bokes about from a find Kitty had, and got the kids working on it, so not quite as many as used to. So what you been up to, you been up to anything interesting?

Havok has posed:
Alex will walk toward the end stalls as he talks. His intent is to move down there and open the garage stall (if finding an empty one), "I took a few contracts for the USGS, hung out in Mutant Town for a while, ended up in Genosha... Maybe all that's out of order. But yeah. I was pretty busy. How about you? You an X-Man now?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Ah work with them but as I said am in charge of the New Mutants, got them going through hoops, and trying to make sure the new one get that feeling of family, and such. Out in Mutant town should come by the club sometime, I am out there ussually at least 4 times a week."

Havok has posed:
"In charge of the New Mutants... Right, but so were we and we were still X-Men. Always thought you were X-Men material." But then he drops it when he finds an open stall, hits the button and opens the garage door. He'll exit and start moving back toward his jeep.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Ah, am more concerned with making sure folks are taken care of than titles . Aint really had any problems with folks treating me like I am less or nothing so all good there. Have to get ya back in the danger room soon, see how rusty you are.

Havok has posed:
Walking back to the jeep to climb in, Alex will say, "That's another thing entirely. It's been a while since I've trained. I'll bet it's gonna kick my ass." He starts up the jeep with the intention of driving it down to the stall, putting it within.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will walk over and make sure the other does not hit anything and get in straight. "Ah'll have Doug whip up a few surprises for ya but make sure nothing to hard. Maybe knock some of the rust off

Havok has posed:
"Damn, Doug is here too? That's great." Sliding out of the jeep and grabbing his duffel bag Alex says with a bit of anticipation in seeing old faces. "You said something about a room?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and will motion for the other man to follow him "Yea, Doug, Illayana, Rahne. Berto is around but living in the city for work with his corperaton ans all.
