Aquaman has posed:
The job came through the right channels. Arrangements and escrow were through Mr. Wilks, a staple of the community who had made his living as a discreet middle man for years.

The pay was considerable and mission packets were provided on encrypted thumb drives and phones for use just on the night of the job. The thumb drives provided building plans, surveillance footage, security systems information and everything else needed for the job. Except access codes and what the objective was.

On the night of the job, the phones rang and a hollow, echoing accented voice gave the meeting location. A parking garage under a building under construction.

At the meeting site there is a single visible black SUV, but considering the professionalism of the prep materials, it is a good bet there is more.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau has been in semi retirement for a few years now, but due to a recent personal issue... well he's decided to get back in the game as it were. So at the appointed hour the sound of his street bike can be heard arriving at the location. He parks it, lighting a cigarette, and then walks towards the SUV, shuffling his cards slowly...

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost walks towards the van - she was ice-skating along, and stopped a block away, not caring that a few car accidents happened as she left an ice-slick along the road. During summer, she doesn't go out during the day - just at night - and was itching for some action. "Yes, sister, I'm going out on a job." She sighs audibly. Then says, "Yes, I'll let you drive in the morning," she mutters, her voice having an eerie after-effect of tinkling icicles. She appears to be talking to herself or... something. She glances around at the others, wondering what kind of treasure would be involved. She hasn't really done anyting like this since she robbed an Atlantic City casino with Poison Ivy and the Joker.

Aquaman has posed:
Quite a large, powerfully built man gets out of the passenger side of the SUV. He wears black boots, black cargo pants and a brown jacket with no shirt underneath. He is Caucasian, bald and wears a black respirator over his mouth and nose held in place by straps over his head. For those who know these things, this man should be dead. Was thought dead. But here he is. r
"So good of you to come," he says. Now its clear why he sounded hollow and metallic. It is the mask.

"I hope you are prepared? He is entry and you are everything else," he says and looks to Remy then Killer Frost in turn. The driver gets out of the truck with a tablet. It is showing access codes for building security, floor 19 security and a lab of some sort called Special Materials.

"Memorize these code," the second man says in a heavy Polish accent. "You will find brown squares, not heavy. T.02 and T.03. Six inch squared. Not dangerous. Bring back and you finished. Meet back here after."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau nods and looks at The codes, memorizing them quickly and fileing them away in his brain, still shuffling his cards casually and glancing over at Frost. "So we supposed ta be partners or competition?" he asks casually.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost smiles. "I was under the assumption that we are partners," comes Frost's frigid voice as she stretches. She nods as she studies the notes, hmmmmming softly. "It would've been so much fun to be a criminal in the distant past - so much less security..." She hmmmmms softly. "You heard our patron. You do the entering, I'll do the breaking. Believe me - I'm far more than meets the eye."

Aquaman has posed:
"You will deliver," the man with the respirator says. "Now. You should be going. You have until sunrise.

Judging by the information they were given, if it takes that long they are incompetent and would end up with marks on their own heads for puffing themselves up.

The Benjamin Davies building is a full-size skyscraper in mid-town Manhattan. It has the usual security systems, a pair of armed security guards at night, cameras in all common areas and elevators. The 19th floor is rented by Defiant Systems, an advanced materials defence contractor. They have their own security system for the floor, cameras, infrared beams inside the main door and the lab is essentially a big steel box with plasteel windows and a door with a code entry panel.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau nods, reading as much from the data. Should be a breeze. "Zero body coun'. Dats non negotiable." Which is something the middle man would have passed on to the contract holder when Gambit was first suggested for the job. He eyes the plans a bit more, "Kinda ironic, but I'll wager de accounting office 'as less security den de video game place..

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost smiles at Remy. "So - if you don't mind going for a wild ride - I can get us to the 20th floor rather easy. You're right - would rather breach offices than a lab. Instead of trying to breach the ground floor and fight up." She smiles as she offers her hand. "Take my hand... by the way, I'm Killer Frost. And once you take hold, away we go." Frigid mist comes out of her hands as the beginning of an ice ramp appears before her.

Aquaman has posed:
The two men from the SUV stand and watch. The one with the tablet moves back a bit until he stands beside his vehicle door.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a little bit, "We get out of dis dare a boy Ah c'n introduce yah too... jus' be careful ta leave somet'ing foh 'is mamma to cry ovah, non?" he asks playfully taking her hand...

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods as she puts Remy's hand on her shoulder. "Hang on tight - if you let go - you'll probably die." She puts one hand in front of her, creating an icy ramp, and the other behind her (not pointing at you) - firing a jet of superchilled air to serve as propulsion as she creates an ice ramp. She quiclky starts to circle the building and ascending fast - it only takes two laps and just a minute or two as she changes course - and at the last moment fires an icicle that smashes through one of the windows on the 20th floor. "There we go," she states, stretching. "That was fun."

Aquaman has posed:
"Really?" Bane asks rhetorically after the two leave. "We're going mobile."

The two men get back into the SUV and pullout, driving around Remy's bike and the ice ramp. They leave the underground and two other SUVs shadow them loosely.

There is some chatter on a radio in the SUV about an ice ramp appearing out of nowhere at the BD building.

"They have six minutes," Bane observes.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau actually manages to hold on quite well. Almost as though he may have ridden on an ice slide with someone before. Moving with her, staying away from her propulsion stream expertly. He winces however as she shatters the window and moves quickly to the security panel. "Less security doesn' mean no security," he snaps and begins disabling the signal, the rerouting it to indicate a bird strike. "Dat should deal wit' dat... Lets get downstairs den." he says and kneels on the floor. He runs his fingertips in a slow line, not blowing the section of floor up but rather separating the molecules that hold t together... melting it without heat.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods as she snaps her fingers, the ice slide shattering and falling to the ground all around the builidng. She kneels by Remy, eyebrow raised. "What do I call you again? I must've missed it while sliding." She then watches you work, reflexively stepping back - but relaxes when she doesn't feel heat. She watches Remy make an opening, impressed. "No heat?" she whispers.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau headshakes, but says "Some, it'd show up on a thermal, but not much. Basically Ah'm exciting de molecules so dey don' stay connected ta each ot'er." he shakes his head. "sloppy way ta work. Ah prefer jobs Ah c'n plan a lil bettah."

Aquaman has posed:
Remy dissipates the carpet, subfloor and concrete underneath. It reveals a dark space above the ceiling tiles of the next floor down. There are pipes in the space for sprinklers and some air ducts, but those are not right underneath the hole.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods as she forms an icicle in her hand. She hands it to Remy. "Here - it's a very suitable weapon, He Who Has No Name." She then forms another and looks. "Can you tell if there's anyone there?" she finally asks as she wishes she could sense heat or whatnot.

Gambit has posed:
"Yah c'n call me Gambit." He says reaching into his coat and pulling out what appears to be a book light. He then extends the neck to make a quite adequate snake camera. He reaches through to open a small hole in the 19th floor ceiling and feeds the camera slowly in... the picture showing up as an app on his phone. God bless technology.

Aquaman has posed:
The 19th floor is quite dark, none of the lights are on. The layout at least from where they are, looks as promised. There are motion sensors and, unusually, cameras on all the concrete support pillars Remy can see. About 40 feet toward the center of the floor from Remy's camera is the back right corner of the lab. White-painted steel that goes up to the ceiling.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods slowly, seeing the feed. "Quite a mess, Gambit," she muses softly as she shakes her head. "I can take out the cameras but... the motion detectors are a trickier subject. Any thoughts?" She isn't expecting THIS much security.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a bit, "Sure chere... we get dem ta shut dem of foh us." he takes out a long filament and shows it to her. "We lower this down there an' activate it. It'll set off de motion detectors. De keystone cops some running. Find not'ing. Investigate a bit. Call de security company. False Alarm. Do it again... an' again... 'bout de fort' time dey'll jus' turn de detectors off. 'Uman nature."

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods slowly. "Let me know if I can help - my sister's the genius - I'm just muscle. Wish I had her friend here - he could hack this thing six ways to Sunday." She just waits patiently for Gambit's scheme to take effect.

Aquaman has posed:
It is a surprisingly sound plan. Patience, it seems, is a virtue. Sirens signal the arrival of police not a minute after Remy spoke. When the motion alarm is triggered, security does respond, with two police officers in tow. They clear the floor carefully and then leave. The second and third time get the same reaction. The fourth has security show up with a woman in her 40's wearing yoga pants and a t-shirt. She talks with security for some time and checks a computer, then leaves. The fifth and sixth times, an increasingly bored security officer comes along and does a half-assed job of looking around. Nothing at all happens the seventh time. Or the eighth.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau does it fourteen times in total. Just to be sure... because ten is an obvious number, eleven is for people too cleaver for their own good, and 15 is when you think "Why not check it anyway. He nods to Frost and says, "Now 'bout dose cameras chere?" he offfers with a grin.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods as she focuses. "I've never done this remotely via a spy-camera - but that's all of them, right?" she asks as suddenly, an icicle erupts from the ceiling above every camera, spearing them through and shorting them out. "It's more difficult when I can't see it directly. Oh - and now that the cameras are done..." She creates an icy ramp from the ceiling to the floor. "An easy way to get down without hurting ourselves."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks just a bit, "Oh it take allot more den dat chere. Maybe Ah show yah aftah we get paid non?" he says following her in, standing back to let the woman do her part of the job.

Aquaman has posed:
The floor is quiet and empty. It is mostly a cubicle farm with a few offices and then the metal lab room. Coming around the front, they can see into the room. It has racks of boxes marked with codes. A few brown or tan squares that look like ceramic tiles are on a long workbench that has a range of equipment; newest generation electron microscopes, normal microscopes, oscilliscopes and more. There is one door in as they were told. Every security camera they can see has sprouted a bouquet of ice crystals.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost gestures. "That's where our squares are. I do hope this isn't all for a weird game of Tetris." She then gestures. "You're the one who can melt walls. After you," she states, gesturing to the wall. "And let's have a little party. Unfortunately, steel is stronger than ice."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau gives her a skeptical look. "Dis is a Thompson reinforced steel door. It's got a 'ardness rating jus' dis side of diamonds. It woul' shrug off a blas' from an RPG an' barely get dirty." He then takes two steps to the left. "Dis is sheet rock." and proceeds to cut through the wall in about a second and a half."

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost blinks and looks rather sheepish. "Oh. I thought they'd secure more than the door." She shrugs as she runs into the lab, disabling any cameras that might be there. "Quiet, Cait," she mutters softly to herself as she heads over. She finds the two brown squares labeled T.02 and T.03, just as the client wanted. "Alright - let's get out of here. I can use an ice-slide like I did to enter."

Aquaman has posed:
The squares are light and stiff. They are cool to the touch and feel like ceramic. Certainly they are easy to carry.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau nods slightly, gesturing to the hole in the ceiling, "Well den chere.." he says putting his arm back around her waist. "Gotta say nice workin' wit' a professional.." he holds on, firmly but not too familierly... because he neither wants to fall off or be dropped.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods as she points her hands down, jets of superchilled air rocketing the two up back to the 20th floor. She nods and gestures to the window. She shattered the old ramp - but she'll make a new one - all the ice she left behind on the 19th floor shattering into crystals that will melt quickly. "Ready?" she asks, looking for security before she begins to slide out of the building with you - creatnig a new ice ramp that leads away from the building - and as she lands on the ground with you, immediately moves back towardsa the SUV. That ice ramp shatters too after a minute or so.

Aquaman has posed:
Bane climbs out of the SUV. He walks over to Remy and Killer Frost holding his lapels.

"Good. You did not disappoint me. I will have more work for you," he says. He pulls out a phone that matches the ones he gave them and texts Mr. Wilks once the plates are given over to his associates. Without another word, they get back in their vehicle and drive off.
