Hammerhead has posed:
The old Diller Club has been abandoned since the 2010s. Over the years it has been a night club, a strip club and a night club again. It was shut down in 2019 for being a front for a racket involving drugs. For years, the old building has been sitting unused, no one wanting to purchase the old place. Recently however, the sounds of hammers, power saws and other construction equipment have been heard working day and night in the old club. As it turns out, the old building was purchased by a individual calling himself Dwayne Powers. In reality, Dwyane Powers was one of the many fake names used by Hammerhead when he conducts "legal business". Hammerhead was planning on using the old Diller place as a new money-making venture, a nightclub to recapture both the classyiness and art deko stylings of 1920s nightclubs. Luckily for him, the outside of the building was still the same from when the Club was build in 1929, all he needed was to get rid of the "sleezy" look the inside of the club had developed and remake it into it's "glory days". Currently, the workers were hard at work remaodling the old place, taking out old insulation, removing old bar taps, an electrition was to come in and have a look at the old wiring of the place. In the middle of all of this, a radio one of Hammerhead's goons brought in was blaring the newest punk song in the center of the club. Suddenly, there was a violent crash and the music stopped suddenly. The works turned towards the sound of the crash saw Hamerhead standing over the now destroyed radio, glaring att the workers. He then said in his familiar, gruff voice,
&
"Listen up ya bums! We are buildin a classy joint here. So, if yas guys wanta to listen to music, listen to something more classy!"

Hammerhead then grumbled to himself as he beckoned over one of his bodyguards, a tall, thin man of African-American descent wearing the now familiar look of a Hammerhead goon, a 1930s mobster outfit. The two men then went up a fligt of stairs towards the only area of the club Hammerhead kept untouched, the managers office. As he opened the door, he pulled out a cigar from his pocket and lit it. As he sat down at a oak desk he had brought in to replace the old, moldy one, he turend and said to his mook, in between cigar puffs," Ya know Gerald, I have a good feeling bout this joint. Not only will it makes us some coll, hard, cash, it will make a good place to unload some of our "merchandise". Gerald just grinned and nodded at his boss.

Shredder has posed:
The work hasn't been unnoticed. The Foot knew of Hammerhead, but as he has started to establsih his own place, and his ability to command his people has become apparent, the Shredder took note.

It may be daylight, but that's not been an obstacle for him in the past. Through the noise of the construction, sneaking into the zone was easy. He doesn't give a dramatic entrance though, instead he just steps out from behind a partially constructed wall. He glances at the crew, and then the man dressed from a time that has passed. "You are the Hammerhead, I presume," he says simply, the blades adorning him and mask covering his face indicating he certainly isn't here for construction purposes.

Hammerhead has posed:
Hammerhead and Gerald were obviously surpirsed when a heavily-armed ninja stepped in through a pair of walls. Gerald reached into his coat pocket and was about to pull out his pistol when he felt a rough, collased, hand grip his shoulder. He turned around and saw Hammerhead gripping his shoulder, shaking his head. Hammerhead then turned and said to the ninja," Yeah, iam Hammerhead. Who da hell are ya and how did ya sneak past the mugs doin the construction downstairs?"

Shredder has posed:
"That is something you'll become accustomed to, if you are wise," the Shredder answers. He looks unconcerned with Gerald's motion, at least by his stance. "I am the leader of the Foot, and your recent activities have come to my attention." Of course, the Foot is a name that is becoming more common in NYC. Political control seems to be an undefined specialty of his. Exactly how he does it hasn't been revealed, but those who join with him seem to have a certain diplomatic immunity, or at least, something close to it.

Hammerhead has posed:
"Yeah, i have of yas mugs," Hammerhead said with a nod. For months, he had heard whispers all over the Underworld about a clan of ninjas slowly taking power in various sectors. Of course, Hammerhead didn't beleive him at first, not "belivin in fairy tales" as he called it. Now, before him was the leader of The Foot. Hammerhead takes another puff of his cigar as his hand slowly reaches into his desk, gripping a pistol subtly in case the encounter turned deadly. He then said to Shredder," Yeah, i have heard about ya, One of my boys thought he saw a ninja leapin across a buildin one night. Told him he was just seein things. Now, i guess he was right. So, what do ya want with little ole' me?"

Shredder has posed:
"Your operation has gained strength recently," he congratulates. "Certainly a testament to your capability," the Shredder says. "I thought it appropriate for me to come and assess you myself. This city, and several others, have fallen to my control. When I see someone who could be a potential asset, I come. I see you as a potential asset. Your operations are run cleanly, and with a certain distinction that is unlike any other in the city." Namely, the classic aroma of the thirties.

Hammerhead has posed:
Hammerhead listens intently to Shredder's praise and his views of him. So, he had come to do business, and not kill him. THat was a relief, not that Hammerhead was afraid of the ninja. He had fough and killed palookas bigger and stronger then him in the past. Hammerhead then pulls out a box of cuban cigars from his desk and places them down as he snaps his fingers at Gerald, who immediatley pulls out a chair from the corner of the room and places it at the other side of the desk, who whoever was sitting there and Hammerhead could look at each other face to face. He then beckons Shredder over while pulling out another cigar and saying," Have a seat then and let's discuss business. Wanna a cigar? Just got em from Cuba."

Shredder has posed:
Shredder glances at the chair and sits as offered. "Your hospitality is noted, but no," he declines the cigar. "You certainly have heard of the control that I command. It is my desire to keep the underworld of the city working as one unit. No more scattered factions and divided leaderships. Those who submit to my leadership are given access to the network of what my Foot Clan has to offer to support them."

Hammerhead has posed:
Hammerhead nods as Shredder explans his position. So, Shredder was offering him the chance to join his network of crime bosses. Normally, he would've said no and send the palooka packing. But, once he brought up The Foot's network, his brain started to work. While Hammerhead had plenty of contacts on his own in NYC, he was soon planning on branching out to cities like Metropolis and Gotham and perhpas the Foot Clan could be his ticket towards getting city officials in those cities in "his pockets." Hammerhead then turns to Shredder and says to him," I can buy into this "network" ya got building up. Just name a price and I can pay it."

Shredder has posed:
"Loyalty," the Shredder says. "Tribute is necessary to continue the operation, but as long as you do not interfere with the operations of other members, and as long as you work in the interest of the network, you will be left alone." He pulls from his sash a gold coin with the emblem of the Foot upon it. "This coin is the symbol, whenever you are challenged on the matter. If you take it, you agree." He places the coin on the table.

Hammerhead has posed:
Hammerhead nods at the metion of loyalty, seems like He and Shredder have one thing in common, they both view loyalty as a neccessity. When he heard about having to pay tribute, his face did not chnge at all, he expected the ninja to pull something like that. Besides, he had plenty of moeny to pay into this group and the idea of not having to worry about every Tom,Dick, and Henry in the Underworld come after him sounded pretty good. So, with a grunt of affirmation, he grabs the coin and puts it in his pocket and says to Shredder," Looks like we gots oursleves a deal mac. If ya need anyhting from me and my boys in the future, you can find me at either the Carlton Arms apartments in SoHo or at this place. As a bit of early, you can use my club once it is done as a meetin place, as long as ya don't kill anyone here. I am payin a fortune to build this place."

Shredder has posed:
"Excellent. I wish you the best in your construction of this place," he says. "Know that you have made the correct choice." Shredder stands back to his feet. "You have many things to work on I see, and so I will bid you farewell, my Foot will keep you appraised of the ongoings, and the Purple Dragons gang is accessible for anyone who needs to pass information between organizations in the network. I look forward to doing business."
