Cast of Characters: Valkyrie, Grail

Valkyrie has posed:
Valkyrie is glad to be off Earth again. Given her meeting with Hela, and the subsequent stress, she's taken her ship and gone to one of the best places in the universe to get lost. So, docked in at Knowhere, she's headed for the Burnout Pub, having already gotten an early start on her way.

Grail has posed:
A man comes scrambling out of the Burnout Pub along with a few others. They are looking panicked as they leave and then yet another person comes flying out. Not under their own power. They land in a heap before of the guys who came out rushes over to grab him up and then drag him off. A few more slip out a few moments later, seeming to quickly leave as if they were being cautious of something. Any who go inside the pub will see several people eying the bar warily, considering the exit and being unsure of their life choices. A few tables are flipped over and there's an annoyed, sorta scared, looking bartender standing at one of the bar also eying the bar. Well, not the bar exactly.

The thing many are either staring at or trying their best to avoid looking at is a woman with grey skin and black hair in a cloak with the hood down. The armor she wears is similar to Amazonian build and beside her is a wicked looking, metallic scythe leaned against the bar and her leg. She sits on a stool, idly sipping at a drink.

Valkyrie has posed:
Valkyrie makes her way up to the bad. To her credit, she's mostly unphased by the flying guy. She pushes open the door, and looks over at the crowd, considering them before turning to head towards the bar. She moves to walk up to the side of the other woman there, and nods to the bartender. "Hey there. Drinks!"

Grail has posed:
The bartender looks hesitant and then finally moves over to get drinks for the lady who just walked in. Grail, for her part, looks over at the new arrival and looks her over a moment before turning back to her drink and taking a sip. Of course, now people are slowly starting to get back to the way things were. People talking, though still stealing glances toward the now mostly empty bar. Grail downs her drink in a gulp and points at the bartender, "Another for me." She states as he approaches and then drops a credit chip down, "And hers is on me." She nods before looking over at Valkyrie again, "I'm Grail." She states simply enough.

Valkyrie has posed:
Valkyrie looks over as her drink gets paid for; one of the best ways out there to get her affections...provide the alcohol. She gives a nod, and replies "I'm Brynn. Thanks. You the one that cleaned out the bar?"

Grail has posed:
Solid red eyes that have just a hint of glow to them, and she looks over again, "Me? I have no idea what you mean." She smirks and looks forward, taking her drink and then bringing it up for a sip, "I just asked a few questions." She nods and looks back over to Brynn again, "Next thing you know and people are screaming 'my face' this and 'put me down' that." She shrugs and sets her drink down, "Frankly, I just don't understand all the fuss over some simple questions."

Valkyrie has posed:
Brynn lifts up her glass in a jaunty toast. "Well, sounds like your questions must have spooked some folks." Not that she seems to much mind. "So what's the question of the hour? Bought me a drink, least I can do is make with some trivia if I've got it."

Grail has posed:
"The men mentioned knowing something about a prisoner who was from Apokolips." She nods her head and then looks over, "And I wanted to know more." Grail then idly sips her drink for a moment before saying, "They didn't seem big on answering to me. Then mentioned something about me needing to mind my own business. I simply informed them that it was my business and that I wanted to know more. Then that whole business about being put down started." She shrugs and gestures out with her hand, flicking it through the air a couple of times, "I might have gotten a little too rough with my questions but sometimes people just don't remember things unless you help them along."

Valkyrie has posed:
Valkyrie lets out a long, low whistle. "Apokolips. Nasty business that. You a bounty hunter?" She makes her first guess on the issue, though she also starts paying a bit more attention, too. Anything involving Apokolips can't be good.

Grail has posed:
A smirk and she chuckles, "I suppose that's a way to look at it." She nods her head, "I'm a bounty hunter." She nods her head, "I'll go with that." She then looks over at her drink and nods, "And I am after a very big bounty." She nods and then looks to Valkyrie, "Have you heard any news from or about Apokolips?"

Valkyrie has posed:
"Just about how bad an idea it is to be anywhere near it. And I spent the last few years on Sakaar, so that's saying something." Brynn looks back. "I suppose the question is...are you looking to get someone back to Apokolips, or away from it."

Grail has posed:
A hmm and she thinks on that, "Honestly, neither really fits the description." She nods her head and looks over with a smile, "I plan to kill some people from it..." She nods her head and then shrugs, "Though going there...hmm." She considers, "Might be in the cards before long." She smiles and then takes a sip of her drink and sets it down, "Maybe make a house call."

Valkyrie has posed:
"Oh." Brynn takes another pull off her drink, finishing it. "Well, that's probably a good idea. At least, good for "the greater good" Probably going to be bad in the "making you very dead" kind of way, but hey. That's why I don't do idealistic crusades any more."

Grail has posed:
A laugh and she looks over, "Crusade? Idealistic?" Her eyes glow briefly, "Hardly either." She then downs the rest of her drink and gestures to the bartender, "Get me another and this time make it something that can actually hurt." She then looks back to Valkyrie, "Are you afraid of Apokolips?" She asks and then slides her scythe to beside her, lifting it up and pushing something. The blade folds up and she then slides it under the cloak she's wearing, putting it away.

Valkyrie has posed:
Brynn frowns. "I'm afraid of nothing. I've walked straight into Hel and back out again. But I've also lived long enough to know that getting involved in things like that..." she shakes her head. "Apokolips is one of the biggest shitholes in the known galaxy. Nothing good comes out of it."

Grail has posed:
There' s a slight pause and Grail smiles as she leans back, "Not sure if I should take offense to that or not..." She leaves that hanging and turns her gaze back to the drink brought to her before she idly lifts it and eyes the liquid in it, "So, Brynn, where do you come from originally? You seem like one of those...oh what do they call them?" She hmms and taps her fingers on the bar, "Was it gardians?" She asks and hmms, "No no, it isn't that." She hmms softly.

Valkyrie has posed:
Brynn's quiet a moment, before she moves to stand. "Originally? Asgard. Like I said...spent the recent time on Sakaar. Thanks for the drink." She gives a nod. "And good luck going after whoever it is you're after."

Grail has posed:
A nod to her and Grail smiles, "Well, good luck on whatever it is you are doing. Even if it is just drinking." She nods her head and then considers Valkyrie a moment before shrugging and going back to her drink.
