Shadowcat has posed:
Washington Square Park is a 9 acre public park in the Greenwich Village
neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. One of the best known of New York City's
1,900 public parks, it is a landmark as well as a meeting place and center
  for cultural activity.

The park's fountain area has long been one of the city's popular spots for
residents and tourists. Most of the buildings surrounding the park now
belong to New York University, but many have at one time served as homes and
studios for artists. Some of the buildings have been built by NYU while
others have been converted from their former uses into academic and
  residential buildings.

While the park contains many flower beds and trees, little of the park is
used for plantings due to the paving. The two prominent features are the
Washington Square Arch and a large fountain. It includes children's play
areas, trees and gardens, paths to stroll on, a chess and scrabble playing
area, park benches, picnic tables, commemorative statuary and two dog runs.

Kitty Pryde can be found already at Washington Park in Greenwich Village, 55 miles at least from Xavier's School. People are walking past, some of them taking shortcuts home at the end of the work day. Others just enjoying the day, or waiting to meet up people. Kitty is in the latter camp. She's found a nice grassy spot beneath a shadey tree, and stretched out a blanket there. There are two 32 oz bottles of sweet tea sitting nearby. Kitty has her phone out and is scrolling through it reading something. Whatever it is, she has a smile on her face, though keeps glancing around the park looking for someone.

Spider-Man has posed:
It really isn't far for Spider-Man, but he still has to stop and get Iced Teas and finish off the journey on foot after changing. Which, also, isn't terribly difficult for him. He's been doing it for years now, the switch is as effort as the swinging it would seem.

With his Mets hat, t-shirt (Hufflepuff 4life) and a pair of cargo shorts, he jogs the last little bit at a half trot in Kitty's direction. A pair of shades sit on the bridge of his nose because it's bright out here! He's wearing sneakers for a change, though! So that's a step in the fashionable direction.

Once he's spied the blanket and the woman sitting on it, a grin errupts across his face and he makes for her properly until he's standing just at the grassy edge with an out stretched Iced tea from a Panara here in the Village. "So, I was thinking on the way over... contrary to the animal kingdom? It's the male who brings sustainance for the Pryde... at least for once.. That sounded waaaay cooler in my head."

He is grinning no less and leaning over to kiss the top of Kitty's. "Hey... Iced tea, as requested." Wiggle wiggling it from a palm.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty rises to her feet as she sees Peter come. She's wearing a pair of jeans with some holes in the knees, and a white t-shirt with some sort of abstract art on the front. "There you are," she says brightly, expression lighting up as Peter joins her. Kitty takes the offered beverage and then moves over to offer Peter a hug. Unlike the quick one at the school around the kids, this one is left to linger much longer unless Peter chooses to pull away.

"Ok, totally perma-grinning now. We are hopelessly dorks aren't we?" she asks, smiling softly before she'd finally let Peter go. Kitty moves to settle back down to the blanket, patting the ground beside her.

"So what's the score today? One mugger, anything else?" the pretty brunette asks him with a grin. She lays on her side so she can face towards him, long slender legs extended across the blanket. She kicks her shoes off one after the other, and pushes them off the blanket before relaxing again.

Spider-Man has posed:
Nor is Peter inclined to let it end with any alacrity, sliding his fingers along the back of her arms as it does and then settling down on the laid out blanket with his legs stretched. His ankles sit crossed once he's removed his shoes and he's balancing himself on an elbow, "Endlessly, hopelessly, dorks.. but that works for us right?" His shoulder bounces, his grin gets wider and he chuckles at her question.

"Two muggers and a car thief, but he was kind of chatty so I sat around and talked his ear off until the cops showed up." He muses, actually appearing delighted that he can finally share this with someone.. even amongst other heroes, Spider-Man keeps his distance, for the most part. "It wasn't the best day for crime stoppers, but I had other things on my mind." His hand snakes over closer towards her with his palm pointed upwards and his fingers spread out a little.

"How about you? Solve any teenaged existential crisis?"

Shadowcat has posed:
The tale of talking to the muggers gets a soft grin from Kitty. She's heard a few stories about Spider-Man's personality, but not really had any first-hand experience before. Now that she knows what she knows, it's even more charming to Kitty than she'd thought upon first hearing it.

She slides her hand over into Peters. Her fingers brush slowly over his palm, exploring before finally lacing her fingers with him. It makes her smile just like that crushing 16 year old she had mentioned. "Not a one. Helped work up the calendar for the coming year, and then spent awhile working from home for Stark," she tells him. "Also started looking at what it would take to get some of that base code where you can access it with me. I keep it air-gapped," she tells Peter.

That sounded like she's saying she has some of the Sentinel's base code.

Kitty uses her free hand to take a sip of the iced tea, which earns Peter a smile for providing it. "So," she says, looking around the park around them. She intentionally picked a spot away from any paths or other people so they could talk with less chance of being overheard. "You do know I'm dying to hear... oh, everything," she says. "Is this an ok place for me to ask?"

Spider-Man has posed:
The unfortunate truth of Peter's hands are that they're naturally a little rough. Not overly calloused, but there's something about the skin that doesn't feel... normal? ALMOST like sandpaper, but not really grainy. As she explores his palm with her finger, Peter is watching her with a grin. How he fits so much delight into those eyes, however, is the real mystery here!

"That's all, huh?" He teases quietly, moving his thumb along the outside of Kitty's once she's laced their hands together, "You're kind of slacking.." She is not and he doesn't mean that at all. Though he does stop joking when she mentions the base code, "I just want to watch you work. You hear stories about the legendary hacking skills of Kitty Pryde, but I'd just as happily sit there and offer my own pearl like observations.. especially if it will actually help find a way to shut these damn things down."

Just thinking about the sentinels has his brow furrowing. It doesn't last, his smile comes back enforce at her questions, "Whatever you want to know. I am unto you as the open book.. only less leafy and there are no words." Said softly, like a poem, only they are dorky words. His hand turns a little so they're palms are facing together, fingers curled, and his brown eyes just watch.. "Question me. Go."

Shadowcat has posed:
The young woman seems to notice the different texture of his hand. And like a true science dork, she spends a little bit testing it and exploring it. But that's not enough to keep her attention off of the rest of Peter for very long. She looks up, and sees he'll have noted her exploration of her hand. She just grins at him, figuring that he understands. And probably would have done the same.

"Oh no, I hope that's not legendary. The whole point of true hacking is to remain unknown," Kitty says with a soft grin. And true enough, her actual hacktavist activities have not connected back to her. Even if her abilities with computers are well known at the school, where Peter would be aware of them.

Kitty slides just a little bit closer to Peter, lacing fingers, but looking at his hand closely for a moment. "So, genetically changed spider. Bite. And what happened then. You said you were... was it 15? What was it like. How did the changes happen, and how did you react and handle them?" she asks.

Spider-Man has posed:
Legendary may have been an exageration. More of an educated guess if she's already unlocked the base code on a Sentinel with an air of complementary creative liberties on his part. Regardless, he lets her explore his hand to her hearts content, even moving it from side to side a little so that she can see all the barely preceivable fine hairs. Without knowing, they'd be ney invisible. If he understands anything, it's scientific curiosity.

And he eagerly and will fully encourages Kitty's.

For more reasons than just science.

He's propped up on his elbow with his cheek in his palm, but he looks as if he wants to move just so he can reach out to touch her when she slides closer. The almost childlike way he's watching her face light up with every discovery of his hand and question has him grinning wide in response. "Well... I got really sick.." He begins with only a flicker of his smile at the revelation, "I almost died. Laid in bed for two days... it scared Aunt May and Uncle Ben nearly to death." That part still makes him feel a little bad, even if it weren't his fault, or nine years ago. "I was 15, so... when I woke up stronger, healthier.. faster.. and.. muscular.. it really didn't surprise either of them to much, but I know they had to have thought I was on drugs by the way I was acting."

He pulls his hand away from her's, but not before bringing her knuckles up to his lips to kiss them. Then he sits up and pulls the straw out of his own iced tea with his finger held over the other end to create a mini suction, "I see things differently now. Like on a microscopic level that's not really vision, so much as a feeling? I call it spidey senses.. Sometimes it's a little stronger, it was then before I could control it, everything moved super slowly around me." To demonstrate he holds the straw up near his forehead with one hand back behind his back and removes his finger. His eyes track the drop all the way down until it almost hits the blanket and then his palm shoots out to catch it on the tip of his finger.

So smooth, so effortless, that it's just a little drop rather than a splash, that he holds up for her to see. "I can sense people moving before they do.. feel bullets coming at me before they exit the chamber, dodge a punch before it's thrown."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's expression softens as she hears of the sickness that took Peter after the bite. "Nothing you could have done to change it," she tells Peter, knowing that he realizes that, but wanting to say it just the same.

She settles in to listen again then, her interest evidence. The demonstration draws a smile from Kitty. "So, I don't need to be /as/ worried about you out there," she tells him. Though her expression isn't that of someone fearful. Instead, one might say it's the look of someone who has had to take those risks herself, understands why someone else would do it. And most importantly, is supportive of it.

Once the demonstration is over, Kitty slides back over closer to Peter, and if he allows will snuggle gently against him with her head moving to rest on his shoulder as they talk. "That's pretty amazing. I already thought you were amazing before you told me, but for totally different reasons," she says with a smile. She slides her hand along Peter's arm, guiding his hand so she can see his fingers and palm. "So the webs come from your fingers? Do you have to... I don't even know. Form them somehow or do they just come out how you like them?" she asks him.

Spider-Man has posed:
"I know." Peter says, smiling even as he says it with a look of appreciation for having heard her say so as well. Knowing that there's nothing he could do and hearing someone else tell him... it's not exactly like he ever got the chance to explain it to Aunt May.. and certainly not to Uncle Ben. That thought is a little painful and it might show, just sort of out of nowhere, in his expression.

If only for a second, anyways.

"I like the idea that someone is worrying about me." Is his reply, moving a little so that she can easily snuggle up against him when she moves to do so. One hand sits across the back of her shoulders, absently twisting in a strand of her dark hair, while the other is held up for her to properly inspect more closely. He really is letting her have all the time she needs looking it over and even appears a little pleased that she's doing so besides! Not like he gets to share this with someone everyday and NEVER with someone he'd let go digging into how it works.

As for the webs, that has him cackling quietly, "Usually I'd make up a pretty elaborate, if ultimately rediculous, explanation, but I wont with you... the webs aren't me... at least they aren't made in my body." He doesn't move towards the backpack he always seems to have with him, but does jerk his chin in its direction. "I built a webshooter and designed a long chain polymer knit, nylon based adhesive that fires from the wrist. I've improved it over the years, obviously, and had a little help recently upgrading the shooters themselves."

His forehead rests foreward as if to lean it in against the side of Kitty's hair, "I'll show you when we're not in the park... maybe help me upgrade them?"

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty breaks out in a small grin as Peter reveals the secret about his webs. "Clever girl," she says, laughing and obviously quoting Jurassic Park rather than making some kind of gender judgment about Peter. Her head tilts a bit as Peter mentions the long chain polymer knit, Kitty gets curious and starts asking about carbon nanotube fibers and whether he uses a liquid or semi-plastic state before shooting them out.

Though, whatever his more detailed chemical reply, Kitty grins to him and says, "I'd be happy to try, but I suspect you are by /far/ the better chemist between us, Peter," she tells him.

Kitty looks away from Peter's hand, and backpack, to look back over to his face. Her eyes drift across his features with such a gentleness that they could be a caress that he would feel. She gives a soft, contented sigh finally. "You know, when we started talking by the pool, and this started up? It was the last thing I was looking for. But the thing I think I needed the most," she tells Peter.

Kitty slips her hand up as Peter leans his forehead in against her. Gently cradling the back of his head as if to make sure and prolong that warm contact. "I couldn't get you out of my thoughts after you left," she whispers to him, and turns her head just enough to brush a soft kiss to his temple. "So do you have some sort of... pheromones that are driving me crazy? Or is it just you? Not that I care, either way," she tells him, and repeating that little brush of her lips to his head.

Spider-Man has posed:
"Technically it's a semi-solid liquid... Combined with oxygen it becomes a bulbous mass, alone, but when added to thermal variations in the expulsion system, the molecular bond is excited and forms strings rather than mass." Peter explains quietly, not really glancing at the bag either in favor of looking right against the side of Kitty's hair, "I've thrown the cartridges as weapons like web grenades in a pinch. It varies depending on what it hits, but it always creates a huge mess for some poor sap to try and pull themself out of."

Talking chemistry is obviously a fan favorite.

Peter just grins, listening to her explain their current situation with a slow motion of his head that brushes his forehead against her hair; whether intentionally or not. "I wasn't either... I was kind of frustrated, if I'm being honest. Not at anyone, so much as.. the situation. I've kind of just been struggling along not really sure HOW to proceed for so long that I just.. did." His fingers curl a little in her hair as he speaks, "Now, though, I wonder if maybe you're right? I didn't set it up this way, but I wouldn't change anything... except, perhaps, coming to find you sooner."

As for pheromones, he gets a little stiff for a second, "I hope not?" He says quietly, tilting his head outward a little to look around the bit of hair, "I don't think so anyways. I mean, maybe? I have a natural musk, which is honestly just wearing a spandex costume in summer heat and should be avoided when possible, but.. listen if it's your flavor, I'm not judging." He's kidding, he bathed. He's also grinning, "If so, then it's affecting me too."

Shadowcat has posed:
The warmth of Kitty's responding laugh would leave Peter with little doubt the pheromone question was joking. As if what she's been feeling seems to strong to just be normal attraction.

But it is.

She gently nuzzles her lips and nose into Peter's hair now, the hand on the back of his head brushing ever so slightly. "I don't know if I would have been ready, sooner. But I'm sorry you had to wait for me," Kitty whispers. She sits for a moment, and then moves so that her lips seek out Peter's. The kiss that results is soft and tender and beautiful. A reflection of Kitty's growing emotions.

She lets her mouth slowly drift apart from Peter's until her eyes can search his face again. "So, you never told your Aunt or your Uncle?" she asks him quietly. "You went through it alone?" she asks in a sympathetic voice. "How did you make the transition from learning you had the power, to becoming Spider-Man?" she asks him.

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter is no slouch when it comes to humor, but it was a good question! Never leave a stone unturned, he always says. Sometimes, mostly he doesn't say that though. Right now he's grinning at that beautiful laugh and the feeling of her nuzzling up against the side of his head. His eyes close for a moment, just a half second to feel it without actually seeing it, and then open to her moving to kiss him.

His hands slide along the turn of her jaw, caressing during the tender moment, and looking over her face with a roving pair of eyes twisting about to suck in every little detail visible to him. "I know... I don't know that I would have either. Maybe?" It's up in the air, honestly. "Like you said, the right chemicals for the current reaction. All things as they had to be to get us here.."

Then his expression falls steadily at whether he's told Aunt May and Uncle Ben, "No." Shaking his head slowly, "Neither. Aunt May.. I don't want her to worry about me, and she definitely would.. Uncle Ben died before I got a chance. I think he would have encouraged me..." He pauses a moment, moving his hands back so he's leaning on them and looking down over his t-shirt with his brow furrowed, "Actually, I know he would. He did encourage me. Just not in the way I wish he had." His gaze returns to her, but there's a profound sadness in them, "He died because of me... at least, he died because I made a mistake. After that, I made a decision that it wouldn't ever happen again." Ala Spider-Man.

Shadowcat has posed:
The warm touches draw Kitty, her head turning into them like a flower following the sun. The young woman's soft, expressive eyes take in Peter as his emotions begin to cloud over with something sadder. Kitty doesn't know where her question has led him, but she slides over more against him and moves her hands to brush slowly along Peter's sides as he shares this part of his past.

After, Kitty sits quietly, eyes upon his face. "From what I know of Spider-Man, you've put together a legacy that I think anyone would be proud of, Peter." She slides one of her hands up to caress Peter's cheek, and if he allows her, lift his head to look back over into her eyes. "And I think doubly so how he'd feel about the man you've become."

The girl sits quietly after, just looking over to Peter. She swallows, her eyes showing a bit of emotion. "I like you so much," she says, those emotions giving her a shiver down her spine. "I really hope your Aunt will approve of me. I was thinking maybe I would bring her some flowers whenever we meet. If you know what some of her favorites are?"

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter doesn't want to live in those harsh thoughts, but it's hard not to sometimes. Everything he is is from a mistake he made that cost him his Uncle. The man who raised him... would he trade all that for that man back? It's literally the only selfish thing he'd every vehementally say yes, without a doubt.

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

Instead, he is drawn out of those darker days by a soft voice and an even softer touch, eyes gliding from some thousand miles away to focus instead upon Kitty's warm smile. "I know that, rationally. I know that irrationally, but.." He still smiles, if softly, and maybe a little distance. "Thank you, Kitty." It really is good to hear someone else say it.

One of his hands moves from behind him to, if allowed, move along the side of her neck. Like he's unable to keep from touching her that long, les she disappear or phase out, which is amusingly possible, "She is going to love you." This said with, first, a grin and then a quiet, good natured laugh, "No, seriously, she's going to -love- you. There is nobody that woman wouldn't accept, but you? God.." He shakes his head and leans his head towards his shoulder, "Uhh.. she always use to put out lilacs. Uncle Ben use to bring them to her every Friday.."

Shadowcat has posed:
Peter's words about how May will find Kitty bring the most beautiful of smiles from her. "Then we'll get her lilacs," Kitty agrees. She closes her eyes, and finds herself wondering how she could have ever thought Peter's hand felt rough before. She can't help but lean into the brush of his fingers now, the feeling of them over her soft throat is the further thing from 'rough'.

The young woman takes up her iced tea and takes a sip, then offers the beverage to Peter. "Thank you for telling me. About Spider-Man. It sounds like it's something you haven't shared with many. I know what it means that you trusted me with it."

Kitty slides over to sit up, close along Peter's side, and draws her knees up, one arm going around them, the other hand resting over on Peter, keeping that gentle contact with him. "I kind of regret not having gotten to know you a little better before this. But it's probably for the best, I guess. I'd have been attracted, and not been able to do anything about it," she says with a sigh. "It's strange to have been around each other this much, but... to have so much that was, is, still unknown."

Spider-Man has posed:
The small fibers extend and retract so it isn't really like Peter's hands are always rough.. Certainly they couldn't be. The exact science of it is negociable, but even if they are sandpaper, it's sandpaper he's gotten good at using with the lightest of touches to simulate something less harsh. Brushing his knuckles along her jaw, now, just to watch how she responds. For once the experiment has nothing to do with the scientist in him.

It's her smile that so draws him though. "She really is going to love you." He says again, shaking his head as if he can't wait for his prediction to be proven true, or simply doesn't need for it to, to know the validity of his hypothesis.

"I probably should have waited... I just.." He isn't even sure and draws in a slow breath with a pensive little shrug, "I couldn't. I've told people.. the Avengers know.. at least some of them.. but that was professional courtesy. I told you for a completely different reason. I don't regret it."

He's not really sure that's suffice, though. So he just smiles and watches her work through it, as facinated now as he ever was by how she navigates the facts of their situation. "I don't really like secrets. Obviously some are important and should be protected.. I do kind of hope I haven't unmasked all of my mystery though. You said I was interesting and I wont lie, I really liked that. Someone who wanted to see behind the hood of Peter rather than digging to find out who Spider-Man is. You'd be surprised how many people mistake I'm wearing a mask to protect my identity for hey, who are you really? I think someone once said.."

Leaning a little closer, "I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is." The quote brings out the very shine in his eyes.

Shadowcat has posed:
The brush of the backs of Peter's fingers over Kitty's jaw causes the beautiful girl to lean into his touch, her eyes gazing over at Peter. There's more than just tenderness there. The girl has kept her hurt bottled up inside. Only slowly finding release over the last weeks, not wanting the kids at the school to have to see it.

The eyes that look at Peter shine with hope. Hope in him. And in this precious thing Kitty has found with him. Her smile grows so big. "You're still the most wonderful of mysteries. One that I am looking forward to unraveling, slowly but surely," she says.

Kitty leans over to rest her forehead against his shoulder. "You are interesting. And funny. And charming. Sweet. And..." Kitty says, her voice getting quiet and conspiratorial. "More than a little cute," she admits. "I'd be nuts to have not seen it. And crazier if I lost sight of any of that for having learned the rest."

She lifts her head from his shoulder to gaze back at Peter. "Their are some secrets. Not necessarily big parts of me. But ones I can't tell because they aren't mine to tell, if you know what I mean? But, I'd like for you to know who I am too, so I'll tell you everything I can," she tells him.

Spider-Man has posed:
"You know just how to melt a gal's heart." Peter teases, a little half grin and a hand still dancing lightly along her jaw as if willed to do so by it's own power. His move, but not far from her gaze, "I can't help getting all squishy a little hearing something like that.. I'm not really use to it." Others haven't spoken to him that way, what few there were, and even that little hurt is hidden now behind an aura of excitement at something so simple as words Kitty's speaking.

"We really are like teenagers.." Spoken in comical observation of how close they physically sit now with the tip of his tongue touching the bottom of his upper lip in a tapping gesture. "I still have a few secrets, but you have ways of making just tell you things which borders on mental manipulation.. It's a good thing I like, I guess."

As for her own secrets, he nods to that, never anything but understanding in his dark eyes. "You tell me what you want me to know. I don't need other people's secrets to feel for you what I'm feeling.." Two fingers brush along just the end of a strand of her hair, "I 'do' want to know everything about you, but I don't mind discovering some of it myself. ONE of us has to be a responsible adult right?" His other hand comes up from where it was supporting him to touch his nose, "Not it." Not only does he NOT fall without the support, he doesn't even flinch backwards. He stays half leaning backwards as if nothing changed at all.

Shadowcat has posed:
"I don't know if it is anything about me getting you to tell me things," Kitty says with a soft smile. "Though if you feel like I do, that you've found someone you can trust, and totally be yourself with? Maybe that's enough?" she asks.

Kitty chuckles softly and agrees at the description of their feelings. "Anything you want to ask me, Peter, I'm ok with," she tells him. She glances at how he's sitting, evening leaning her head around for a moment to make sure he's not supporting himself in some other fashion, before breaking out in warm laughter. "Come on, come with me," she tells him, rising to her feet and reaching down a hand to Peter to join her.

If he does, she leads him at an excited-paced walk over towards a playground area. There is a jungle gym, with ladders and monkeybars and poles for kids to slide down. There are also a set of swings, big enough to handle adults. Kitty walks over to one of them, bare feet moving over the grass to take a seat in one.

Spider-Man has posed:
"I think I like that idea more, yeah." Peter says of having someone he can just be himself around. Whether odd or geeky or heroic as the need arise, he is an eccentric fellow, and is clearly pleased to have found someone who finds as much delight in that eccentricities as he does in theirs.

"It's rude." He says, shaking his head at whatever question initially springs to mind, "But the curiosity is uncanny strong.. I'm not even sure how to ask?" Then she's inviting him to stand and he does so with so little a tug upon her as to have float to his feet from that awkwardly elevated lean. "We joke about having good genetics, but I'm curious what yours gave you?" He finally asks, quick stepping a little so that he can slip his arms around her waist as the move towards the swings.

So he's walking a little funny in the position? He's Spider-Man, a funny walk is the least of his talents.

Spying, then, the swing he breaks into a grin and motions in a most elegant bow for her to have a seat, then stands behind her to give her a little push with the wave of his palm against the small of her back.

"You don't have to answer that question, by the way."

Shadowcat has posed:
The play area is free of kids at the moment, parents picking up kids at school or heading off from work, or home to begin cooking. Giving the pair privacy as Kitty beams a smile to Peter as he starts her swinging with the gentle pushes. "Well, I'd love to say the face of an angel and the body of a model," Kitty jokes.

There's a moment's pause from her. Peter's ex-fiance is an international super-model. The girl can almost hear Logan's voice in her head at the moment. "Way to go Pryde. Now you'll have him comparing bodies. How do you think you'll stack up there?"

She blushes a little bit in the swings, and quickly continues on rather than give time for any such thoughts to take hold. "Well, it started with headaches when I was 13," Kitty tells Peter as he pushes her on the swing. "Nothing that I thought much of. But they got worse. And then during a really bad one, I laid down in my room. Upstairs. And I closed my eyes for a bit, and next thing I knew I was lying on the floor downstairs, as my parents were coming in with some guests," she says.

Kitty waits until the peak of the swing and then jumps out, just as kids are always told NOT to do. She lands adeptly though on her bare feet, and turns to walk back to Peter. "So, I can take my body out of phase with the rest of the world. Pass right through other objects," she tells him. Her hand moves towards the swing's chain, and passes right through it like either her hand, or the chain, wasn't real.

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter casually keeps her swinging, and building up height, with just a push that wouldn't amount to much at all from most hands. His are not most hands. He's not going crazy, of course, and he's always aware of how much strength he's using by now, but it's far more than just a little nudge. "Both true, though." He's no ability to read minds, that's not part of the spider package, but he nearly married someone who could.

So he's gotten adept at picking up things, possibly through the touch of his fingers against the small of her back tickling his senses or.. something he's not really sure of yet. It's always kind of hard to tell, except that with great blush comes great curiosity. Which, at least temporarily, is curbed by her leap and story. Both have different smiles, neither seem judgemental in the slightest. "Huh..." It's more of a pleasant sound than one of shock when she explains, then demonstrates, her genetic mutation on the chain.

His hand comes up as if he's going to reach for her's, every bit like he has a dozen times in the last few days, but clearly intent to see if he phases through as well. "That's incredible..." Searching first the hand she's extended, then her face. His own lit up with excitement and generally like he's rather impressed. "Independantly?" Motioning with a finger wiggling from her hand, to her arm, up over her neck. "Can you phase shift just your hand?"

Only one way to find out. He reaches through the chains of the swing towards her neck, which unless he phases through, is intent to half wrap the side of her jaw and urge her closer.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty can't help but get a small, pleased smile as Peter's interest in her power is expressed. "Yes, I can control it down to even a few molecules worth," she tells him with a soft smile. She lets his hand pass through hers once, then returns her hand to reality to touch his hand. Then, while still in contact, it's like the hand just isn't there anymore and passes through his own without any sensation. She doesn't turn transparent or ghostly, the hand looks as solid as ever even as it is passing through his own.

Kitty smiles as the fingers curl about her lower face and draw her nearer to Peter. "I don't think I'd ever want to cause your touch to miss me," she tells him. The soft curves of her body rub against him as she lets him guide her up against him.

Kitty leans close to brush a kiss to his cheek. "I can do more than phase just myself. I can phase objects, or others I touch," she whispers. Kitty will take his free hand, and bring it over to the chain where he feels the cool metal links. Her hand on his wrist, all the sudden it's like the chain isn't there, his hand passing right through it the same as hers did. Though he can feel everything else, can feel the warmth of Kitty's body, and the soft curves of her breasts as they brush against his chest.

Spider-Man has posed:
To say he's excited is only the tip of the iceburg. There's a wealth of information here that could change everything and his scientific brain cannot help going super nova with those thoughts... but only for a brief moment and then he's back in reality. Where he would never use someone in that way and feels guilty for even the briefest thought that he could, might, or would. The guilt is clear on his face and maybe because he's use to someone just reading why, he says "Sorry.." Waving a finger up near his temple. "It just pops in there sometimes..."

Yet she has a way of bringing him right back out of mental phase, by telling him with that gorgeous smiling lips that she can phase him as well. "oooo huh-huh, I have to s-" But she's already reaching for his wrist and he's leaning harder against her as she guides their hands together towards the chains.. the cool feeling of metal giving way as his molecules are removed out of one phase and leaves him with not but the sensation of Kitty against him.

It's kind of sensory deprivation in a way. Where the world is gone from his sensiation and what's left is hightened because of it. That being Kitty and her body pressed up to his. "This.. is incredible.." He murmurs, alternating between their hands sliding through space occupied by physical mass, to her eyes. A smile shared between his face and his own eyes.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty greets Peter's initial excitement and the flurry of scientific analytical thoughts with a warm grin, one that doesn't go away as he apologizes. "Sorry? I finally find someone who is interested in the physics of it all /and/ capable of carrying on a conversation on it which might even further enlighten me on the subject... and you're /sorry/?" she teases him.

Kitty motions a hand towards herself. "Hopelessly dorky, remember?" she asks him. She leans up to brush a warm touch of her lips to his cheek.

Then she's phasing them both. He finds he can breath without any difficulty at all. "We're actually standing on just three or four molecules I left unphased, in the bottom of our shoes. Well, your shoes, and my foot," she says. "Or else we'd just start falling into the Earth. And, you can't breath down there. But, we can use that to literally walk on air if we want to," Kitty says.

"Though well, I have to time it with the steps and it's easier to just hold you and I do the walking," she says. She takes a little step up into the air, and where her foot stops there might as well be an invisible stair there, as the both of them start to lift up as if she were stepping them up onto it. She lets them float back down then, and after making sure there's no mater overlapping his body, she returns them both to normal.

Kitty glances up at Peter, and she can't help but sort of hang on his reaction. She does so want him to think it's cool. Nerd girl.

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter is often times found around people who aren't necessarily dense, but with whom conversation is strained because of his higher education. He never judges anyone for it, but he judges Kitty plenty for being contrary. That judgement is rewarding and intoxicating, and kind of makes his heart flutter almost as much as the brush of her lips against his cheek.

WHATEVER he felt, however, pales in comparison to what he suddenly experiences when she shifts them bodily out of phase. The explanation is weighed and he nods understanding, glancing down towards the indicated location of these still stable molecules of his shoes and her feet. "That's an exceptional amount of control." The statement, simple as it sounds, is both an exclamation of exactly how impressive it is AND a question as to how anyone would have known to teach her. At least until he remembers the Mansion and its primary purpose for mutants. Enlightenment blinks into his eyes only a half second before she's walking upwards on an invisible current of air molecules as effortlessly as a set of stairs.

If that look of shock is born of fear, the smile betrays it completely. He's FACINATED. Enamoured... like someone just unraveled the fabric of the universe right infront of him and showed him that it all revolves around a kernel of popcorn. And it doesn't just fade away, it's heavy on his body and his expression as they settle back down lightly upon the ground to come back into phase with the world around them.

"Okay..." He holds both hands up, out a little wide from himself, but he doesn't step away and he certainly doesn't look displeased for the experience. "... I am officially dating the coolest girl on the planet." He shrugs helplessly, both hands shooting up in the air in a motion like how does this even happen. "How is this not a thing I've seen before? Why am.. do... Kitty..." Both hands grab eitherside of his head as if it's about to explode, "Do you realize how awesome this is?"

Shadowcat has posed:
It's taking most of her self-control to not just throw herself at Peter Parker right now. Can he know how it feels to Kitty to have him so embrace this part of her? Something that is far more personal than just a skill, or a trick she can perform. Something that is part of her down to her marrow.

"Peter," Kitty says softly, looking down and her tongue wetting her lip. "I really like you," she whispers, in a tone that speaks of great understatement. "And we're definitely calling the ice cream parlor a date," she says, dabbing a toe into the grass beneath her bare feet.

She looks back up at him. "You just keep getting better. There has to be something, some shoe that is waiting to drop. You snore horribly, don't you? Something. I'm starting to think you were constructed from my wishes and desires, plucked from my mind and given form."

Yes, that sort of thing happens in her life.

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete is still taking it in, even now, trying to sort out if he's just kind of dreaming this all up and he's going to wake up suddenly with the last few days being something of a dream, if a genuinely pleasant one. His heart actually hurts a little for how quickly it's beating, but this has little baring on how huge his grin is, how he's stepping onto the grass as if trying to duplicate himself the near magical way she was able to actually change molecular bonds simply by willing it so.

She wants to throw herself at him?

He wants to catch her.

She speaks his name and he glances up suddenly, looking like some kid who just got the new iphone for their birthday, and instantly reaches up to try and lightly squish her face in the palms of his hands. Not painfully, not even really that hard at all, "Well... I mean yeah... you heard Ernesto.. we datin'." He tries to joke, but he's got a lot going on in his head. Some of it scientific and some of it... less.. but still very centered on Kitty Pryde. "I ... I don't even know what the hell I was doing a few days ago or who, how, why this is suddenly happening to me.. I live in a whirlwind, Kits.." His head swims around in a pantomime swirl.

"But this? You and me? Finding each other in the way we did, when we did?" His shoulders slump forward, grin just getting a little bigger. "but if you 'have' to have a shoe to drop.. I cheated on an english test when I was twelve.. and I said irregardless once." One hand comes back from her cheek, a SINGLE finger held up, "ONCE... and I went to therapy for it."

Joking aside, "There's nothing... at least nothing I can even begin to quantify in rational thoughts besides act of God... that is ever going to shift me out of phase with you."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty slides her arms up around Peter's shoulders, hands lightly joining behind his neck so she can just lightly cling there. "I like that," she tells him. "Kits? I've been called nearly every name and nickname you could imagine. Katherine, Kat, Kitty, Kit, KitKat, Katie, and a few I'm probably forgetting. But no one has called me 'Kits' before," she tells him.

She smiles. "I think that one is all yours, alone then," she tells him, and definitely liking that he's found something unique there. "I think, as crazy as it is, that I can still find some feelings for an English-test-cheater, irregardless of everything else," she says with a smile.

Her arms still about his shoulders, Kitty leans up to press a light kiss to Peter's lips, going up on her toes to do so. "So, you mentioned the Avengers know of you. Does that include Doctor Stephen Strange, perhaps?" she asks him, tone a little curious, but also there is something a little mischievous in her expression.

Spider-Man has posed:
"So it is spoken, so it shall be." Peter says to Kitty with a big grin and his forehead leaning in towards hers as his own arms wrap lightly around her waist. "Already got my own nickname... score." He says with a little nuzzles forward, "I was going to say... I need to start working on a petname, but you have to play it kind of close to the chest with those ya know? Too soon and you're just the weird facebook guy calling everybody sugar, too late and you're that missed chance. Balancing act... always a balancing act."

Avengers, Pete doesn't lean back or move away from Kitty when she redirects, but he does shake his head. "I've worked with him a few times... indirectly. He kidnapped a pregnant woman." That is a gross exageration of events, "And took her to a hospital. Her husband was so confused... and then there was the time I swung through a rip in spacetime left behind by Loki..." When he says these things out loud, his life really does sound kind of strange. "I don't think he knows, but he might, he's aptly named for a Doctor Strange."

That mischievous expression though. His eyes narrow playfully, "What... is that look?"

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty lets out a soft, joyous laugh, as Peter once again draws a smile from the young woman. "I don't think you've missed your chance," she tells him on the petname. "But I'll try to warn you if you're going to turn into that Facebook Guy," she agrees.

Kitty nods slowly at he mentions his dubious connections to the wizard. "Oh, well... I might have mentioned I rent a room in the city. To have somewhere to stay after working late, not having to commute and all. It's in his Sanctum, actually. I was kind of wondering how he'd react if I were to introduce you. You know, so... you could visit me. Which, is an invitation for you to, sometime," she tells him, smiling up at Peter.

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter inclines his head at Kitty, "Hopefully before I do. In my experience facebook guy is a slippery slope." He jokes with an easy grin, leaning back just a little, but not at all away, so as to get a full look at her when she mentions both a rented room at the Sanctum and his open invitation to visit her there.

"Interesting..." He muses aloud, one brow raised, thoughtful expression in the accompanying eye. "Well, if he knows, he knows.. I suppose it is acceptable to meet your landlord at this stage in our blossoming relationship. There'll be no need for you to meet mine. He is an unpleasant gentleman and I rather then he doesn't care for me me much... more so now that I can actually pay him on time, but you know how hard feelings go."

He's still curious about a room at the sanctum. He's been there. It's... interesting. "As far as places to crash go, the home of Doctor Strange is one hell of a doozie..."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's fingers brush gently along the back of Peter's neck. "He is rather persnickety," Kitty says. "And it was a rather unexpected thing, the room. I was seeking something to battle some magical beings that... ah, well. They needed battling, you understand?" Kitty ask, giving a soft little grin.

"And so Rogue took me there to meet him, to see if he might have something to assist me. At the time I was looking for an apartment. Well, Rogue had used to live there, and her old room was still unoccupied," Kitty explains. "In the end, he said I could stay rent free if I helped him with organizing and digitizing... ah... some of his magic tomes," Kitty finishes. "So, you can decide not to date me for many reasons. But that I can't come up with an original tale to tell? Not going to be one of them, Peter," she jokes with him.

Spider-Man has posed:
"Nope." Peter says with a grin that is both genuine in that he has no clue about magical stuff, but also endlessly amused and unsurprised that she does. "It's adorable though, so please go on. I'm rivited." One finger comes up, just enough, to tap the end of her nose.

And listen he does, chuckling with his forehead stretching, the hair on the back of his neck standing just a little as well, beneath her fingers touch. "That feels good." He tells her, quietly, but necessarily, as she explains what one thing for which he could never decide not to date her. "Okay, full disclossure, I'm falling for you. Kind of hard actually, scary hard... so it's safe to say the hunt to find a reason NOT to date you would be long and arudous.. Besides, I've been known to spin a yarn or two in my day." It's pure joking, mostly with her because he's actually known for talking a lot, as his own hand twists in her shirt absently.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's fingers on one hand slip up into Peter's hair in back, her nails lightly gracing over his scalp. She lets out a happy sigh as Peter mentions falling hard for her. She says in a slightly more serious tone, if a warm one, "It is... really mutual," she tells him. "I so wanted to call you last night after you left. I wish you hadn't left," she says, blushing just slightly at that.

"Well, so if we are going to date... then it would help if you're allowed in my room at the Sanctum even when I'm not there," Kitty says. She smiles up at Peter and she says, "You know, I was at the school, 50-some miles away, when I suggested we meet here." Yet, she beat Peter who only took about six-minutes plus a stop for iced tea.

Spider-Man has posed:
"Good, my pheromones are working as intended." Peter's neck tenses a little, curling slightly back against the fingers teasing them, but not at all in a bad way. Little prickles of goose flesh appear down the side of his jaw, "Seriously, that feels 'really' good.." Possibly a warning, possibly an invitation to continue? Open for interpretation. Like dances in the 90s. "I didn't want to leave." He says quietly, "and it wasn't easy to either.. I just knew I wasn't going to be able to keep finding reasons not to kiss and..." He shrugs helpless, "I wanted you to be comfortable. Talk to Betsy, make sure all was good."

He swallows hard and blows a sigh through his nostrils, the pleasant smile never once fading or faultering, "Wait, does... there's a teleporter isn't there, please say there's a teleporter." He DID step through a rift that moved him from the Bronx to the sanctum, this is not outside his realm of believability. "If there's a teleporter you know I have to see it right? Like, I have to.. please say there is... please take me to see it? I need that.. the Trekkie in me NEEDS this, Kits.. like water. I'm thirsty." Leaning in towards her, just close enough that their noses might touch, "I needs a teleporter drink."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty grins at the mention of the pheromones. Every little joke that brings out those pretty grins just ties another string around her heart and tugs on it, bit by bit. Kitty smiles and adds her second hand to the scalp-grazing, doing it lightly with the edges of her nails which are short by some women's standards. "I know. It was the right thing to do, leaving. And you are a wonderful man for having understood that, and made it easy for me," she tells him. "And, well, now that's not an issue though," she says, looking just a little suggestive.

The woman breaks out laughing as Peter gets excited about a teleporter. "What? Peter?" she says, laughing harder as he's pleading with her to take him to see it. "Peter, this isn't Star Trek. I mean yes zetaports exist, and I even got to use one not that long ago. But no, there's no teleporter in my room at the Sanctum," Kitty tells him.

Two heartbeats pass. "It's a magic mirror, actually."

Spider-Man has posed:
"No fair.." Peter says of the double handed attack on the nape of his neck. His jaw flexes beneath the tingle running down from behind his ears over his mandible, and right on across his neck, "That's cheating." It is not and he's not even that upset about it anyways. As for being a good man, "You're making it difficult to keep up the act... I'm kidding, it's not an act." There's something springing up in his eyes though. Affection, certainly, adoration that he's not had there in long enough that he's almost scared of it, but something else too. Maybe it's the way he's breathing a little harder, straining his forehead, when he's looking at her, or just the WAY he's looking at her.

Suggestive.

"Aww..." He murmurs, temporarily having completely forgot the fact there MIGHT be a teleporter in her room. It's not as dramatic a slump of his shoulders as he'd like, he's got multiple things going on in his head right now, "I've never used one... how have I never used one..." That's actually a really good question, but he does not look at all like he's much caring about the answer.

"Define: Magic mirror. Because I Occulus and that did not end well for them."

Shadowcat has posed:
The suggestive look from Peter causes Kitty to look down, but with a smile that if bashful, looks pleased. She leans up and nuzzles a soft little kiss to Peter's jaw as she continues to caress of her fingers through his hair. "Define magic mirror. Well, it's a mirror. That is magic. You step through it, and it teleports you to a mirror that is it's twin, back at the school in my closet," she tells.

Kitty pulls one hand out of his hair so she can snap her fingers. "Oh, right. Teleporter. I get it now. Yes it's a teleporter," Kitty says, grinning at him teasingly. "We just need to make sure Stephen likes you enough he won't have an issue of you stopping in to use it. I'm trying to keep those who know about it, and use it, to a bare minimum to avoid upsetting him," she says. "The magic portal in the back of my closet is also why I nicknamed the room Narnia."

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter takes a few deep breaths and reaches up to, very quite reluctantly, slide her other hand out of his hair. He's getting a little red across the cheeks and while it is definitely not at all something that he is displeased by. Instead, he twists his hands down and holds to the curve between her thumb and index finger, "And that's how you tickle a spiders web." He rolls his shoulder a little and cranes his neck in a little trembling pop, "You're killing me here." With the mirror, but it's amusing and he's still grinning, which has to be encouraging.

"yes.. teleporter." The expression widens in flickers, "So you've got a dragon, walk on air, are about as smart as any human being I've ever met, like old cartoons, dig me, and are also gorgeous..." One eye squints at her, nose wrinkling introspectively, "I want to show you something." Glancing down at their hands, "It isn't a Narnia closet mirror, but I think you'll like it."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's smile is like the Kits that got the canary as she sees how the fingers in Peter's hair is affecting him. That is definitely getting filed away for later use based on the semi-devious expression on Kitty's face.

The young woman starts with a little smile at the mention of the dragon, and with each bit that proceeds, it only grows more. When he calls her gorgeous, that one seems to take a little of her breath away and to leave her looking particularly touched. And pleased.

"What is it?" Kitty asks with interest. "I imagine you have a lot of things I'd like to have you show me," she tells him, her eyes sparkling just a bit at her comment. She reaches over to rest her hands in Peter's more fully.

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete sees that semi-devious look and raises her one eyebrow, "Ohhh you say I'm dangerous, but you're dangerous." He teases, chewing at the inside of his lip for a second as if trying to make some mental calculation that ultimately sees him nodding with whatever figure the equation solves for him.

He had no idea she thought he might would compare her to Betsy, but he doesn't look at her now like someone who sees something he does not truly enjoy or want. He nods a few times, lost in something, then shaking it off suddenly. "Sorry, went somewhere."

His hand turns over as she lays her's more fully upon it, "You'll see... and I'm sure I do. I have a closet too, but it's where I put all my left socks. Now before you laugh... the magical process involved in disappearing ONLY right socks is not only confusing, but kind of frustrating." Nevermind that a right sock can be a left sock and visa versa. Jokes don't need to be based in reality or facts.

"I need to go change... Wait for me?" Stepping over towards his bag, hands still holding to Kitty's as he does.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty just grins back about being dangerous. "Maybe a little bit," she tells him. Her fingers gently squeeze his where they are holding hands. Kitty does notice how he looks at her though, and it definitely leaves her feeling warm inside.

She laughs and shakes her head. "I don't believe you for a moment, Mr. Peter Parker," she tells him of the left sock closet. "For I doubt you even wear socks in a regular basis," she says, and then trying to surreptitiously look down towards his ankles to try to verify her hypothesis.

She smiles back up to him. "Sure, I'll be right here," she tells him as he speaks of changing. And she will indeed stay right there. And as he walks away, her eyes are going to drift down to his derriere, too.

Spider-Man has posed:
Peter shakes his head at Kitty, but it's not disagreeing at all, "Lucky man, Peter Parker.. Lucky man." One of his hands touches his lips, then her's, and he pulls his other free to start walking a few steps backwards towards where he left his precious backpack. He sees that glance down, though, and that little rise in color on her cheeks.

He likes that too.

He is, in fact, not wearing socks and makes a show of hiding his ankles which is surprisingly easy for how quickly his feet move, "You see nothing, Katherine Pryde.. I'm a distinguished gentleman who would never wear sneakers sans socks... that's how you develop foot fungus."

It isn't until he's at his pack and has it slung up on one shoulder that he looks away and while he CAN feels eyes on him, it's unlikely(?) that he knows where they're aimed. "Alright.. if I were a port-a-potty, where would I hide?" He murmurs, rushing off to find any place he might quickly switch over to a quite familiar red, blue, and black lined costume.

To his credit, it doesn't take him long.

Maybe fifteen minutes and there's a telling THWIP and Spider-Man lands upon the swing she'd not long ago been leaping from. Standing on the then rounded bar across the top as easily as if it were a sidewalk. "Well, well, if it isn't Kitty Pryde... You know, you're going to think this sounds crazy, but I've been following you on facebook..."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty lets out a warm laugh. "And it's too late. Facebook Guy," Kitty says up to Spider-Man warmly. Her eyes are alight with the sight of him though. She murmurs something - "great costume?" - to herself and walks over nearer to the swing set.

Kitty grins up towards the famous hero. "I guess I should probably be posting more than. But there's only so many cat pictures in the world, right?" she says. And she does post a lot of cat pictures. Cross-posted from Rogue usually.

The brunette can't really stop her face from grinning. "Not that I ever doubted... but... wow," she tells him. "You really know how to sweep a girl off of her feet, you know that?"

Spider-Man has posed:
"Facebook guy..." Spidey drops his head dramatically, the eyes on his mask widening every so slightly to mimic the expressive motion of his brow, "You wound me, Kits... you wound me here." A palm lays flat against his chest. "I'm more of a facebook man, ya know? Have you seen my status updates... actually don't answer that, nobody should be forced to read that dribble."

The Wallcrawler leaps backwards into a tight backflip, firing a pair of short weblines against the bar he just vacated to swing between the chains of the swing into a dangling hang right infront of Kitty. Both feet up along the webbing held in one hand easily supporting his weight, "I've seen your Kit cats, Kits, it's kind of cute." Whoooo. "Try saying that five times fast."

His free hand extends out towards her, clearly grinning beneath that skin hugging mask at her commentary of his sweeping skills, "I hope so, I'm really kind of showing off now... It'd be embarassing if it wasn't working." A pause, flicking fingers towards himself in a quiet invitation, "Come'ere.."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty grins at the acrobatic display. She's known a number of fantastic acrobats, including Kurt and Blink. What is it about teleporters and acrobatics, actually? But, neither of them match the sheer fluidity of Spider-Man's movements.

Kitty walks over closer to him. "It's probably that your postings are just kind of scattershot. You know, like you throw them against the wall to see what sticks," she says. And then holds out her hands like a bad comedian who needs to make sure people noticed there actually was a joke in there.

Kitty walks right up to where Spidey is hanging upside down. "It's definitely working," Kitty tells him as she moves to stand right before him. She glances up at how he's hanging from the web, and then back down to the white eye coverings. "Side note, I'm fascinated how those move with with your eyebrows," she comments, grinning.

Spider-Man has posed:
Spidey is just dangling now, but his shoulders arch and roll to send him in a slow pendilum swing infront of her. If the position he's in is uncomfortable, and it would be for any normal person, he's hiding it pretty good beneath that costume! "When you're right you're right..." He murmurs of his posts, "I keep saying I need a PR department... but honestly with all the new spiders around, I feel kind of like my brand is getting a little tired."

He does not think that at all, not even slightly.

"Well, it's pretty simple actually. It's a nueroweave fiber mesh inlaid on a cybernetic mat. It has to sit JUST right on my brow though... I mean just a little off and my eyes look like I'm epilectic. It's not cute. I scared a boy scout troop once." His slow swing slows with a tug from his forearm flexing on the webline. "Alright, this isn't what I wanted to show you, but... before I do, pull down my mask. I have a powerful desire to get the upside down hanging kiss knocked out of the park-" They're in a park, "-literally and figuratively."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's interested look at the explanation of the mask only lasts until Spider-Man mentions the upside down hanging kiss. "Oh. Oh my," Kitty tells him. She gives a warm giggle and then looks around the park. "I don't know if you realize this, but I just started dating a guy. His name is Peter Parker, and... well, don't tell him about the kiss, ok?" she teases.

Kitty reaches up and slowly rolls the mask down until his lips are revealed. She holds his head on either side then, and leans to offer him the slowest, deepest, most sensual kiss they have shared yet. It makes her bare toes curl in the grass, her lips opening to his, her tongue offering playful licks before inviting his back inside.

Spider-Man has posed:
"Mums the word mum." Spidey says of her unassuming new boi, "I mean, he'll get it.. I'm sure he's a fan of Spider-Man?" The eyes widen like his brow is bouncing at her and as she pulls the mask down there's a grin upon his exposed face. "Peter Parker... sounds kind of like a cartoon character.. but Spider-Man... we don't get to pick our names, amirite?"

Then she kisses him and... his grip begins to loosen on the webline, stuttering just a bit as her lips part and tongue teases out invitingly, his own responds as sensually, rolling into and against her lips with a little shiver running up between his shoulder blades. When it ends, and does he ever wish it wouldn't, the eyes are just wide... very wide... on his mask. "I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous of this Porker guy now."

The previously beckoning hand slides towards her shoulder as his feet slip down off the webbing so that he's dangling down in the same direction as she's standing, "How tight is your grip?" The joints of his shoulder roll through the motion like they dislocated and immediately pop back in, but in truth his ligaments are just so flexable as to allow full range of motion.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde isn't sure how long the kiss lasts. When it is broken finally, she stands there for several more long seconds before finally her eyes drift back open. "I just hope he can kiss like you, Spider-Man," she tells him. "And he'll have to hope the Porker nickname doesn't stick. I was trying to think of a pet name for him," she says, breaking out in a soft laugh.

Kitty reaches back up to slide the mask back down for Spidey. "Tight enough," she tells him, showing no hesitation in moving back over closer to Spider-Man once he's righted himself. She Slips her arms around him, a hand going up along his back to hook over his shoulder from behind. The other wraps about his shoulder and neck, gripping her other wrist. The hand that is folded over his shoulder feels along it for a moment. "Mmm. Such nice shoulders. I'm not sure whose are nicer, yours, or Peter's" she tells him with a grin.

Spider-Man has posed:
"Curse his luck, if does..." Spidey sounds like he might regret having said it, if not for the grin on his face as the mask starts to lower back over his face beneath Kitty's fingers, and once more he's completely in character... so to speak. "I think he'll need tons of practice... I'm sure he wouldn't mind that part either, though." Nudging his shoulder into the curve of her arm when it comes around the back of his neck.

This close, it's just as easy to tell he's heart is beating a littl heavier against his back. Besides it being the first time he's ever swung with someone attached to his hip (THAT HE KNOWS OF), it's Kitty, and she's got that effect on him anyways. At mention of his shoulders, he glances back over them, far further than his neck should allow for, "I probably do a few more pull ups than ya mans an'em.. but he was able to scoop up a fine lady like you, so he must have something going on with his upper body grip."

The mask moves around his mouth, again grinning, just as cheesy and huge as ever, but only hidden behind the face of a hero. "You ready?"

THWIP - THWIP A pair of lines fire out from either of his wrists and he leans waaaaaay back with his heels digging into the dirt with the flexing muscles of his bicep, "Seriously, hold on tight.. this part is a little jarring..." He gives her just a second to make sure, then lets his legs up to hurl them up into the air like a catapult, well above the shade where they resting until the trees themselves are just under foot.

THWIP! Another line attaches to a higher light post to carrying him, and Kitty against him, around in a wide, wild arch like a slingshot and even further up into the open air.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty tightens her grip, the soft curves of her body pressing quite noticeably against his chest. "Now I warn you, if you kill me he's likely to become a little cross," Kitty tells Spider-Man as he deploys his first webs and prepares to slingshot them into the air. "Well, at least, he might raise his voice slightly. Or, well I haven't heard him do that actually. Stern language is possible though," she teases.

Kitty tightens her arms even more, and then they are launching into the air! She lets out a thrilled gasp, her grip tightening even further. As Spidey sends out the next web, letting them swing around in the wide arc, Kitty looks out at the swaying world around them, and let out another little excited cry.

"Oh my! And you do this all the time!?" she says, laughing but clinging to him quite tight.

Spider-Man has posed:
"Yeah, I'm sure he'll be the end of me..." Spidey says in a teasing tone between swings, fanned out a little as they drop by gravity in a graceful, even with the added weight, fall, "Nothing like a vengeful boyfriend scourned by that menace spider-man." Said with a grumble that has to be part of the rib.

"But I haven't lost anybody yet, so let's not go counting our chicken little Peters before they hatch?" THWIP - THWIP The pair of lines hit the first wall of a building, one on either facing side making up a long alley, and he pulls with a grunt to send them barreling at the opening. "Gooooing up"

WHOOOSH through the alley. THWIP - a line fires back behind him over Kitty's shoulder and their missile fall turns into a swing that looks like they will definitely be hitting the wall at the end of this alley, but the line tenses at the very last second and sends them in a TIGHT turn around the corner and back out into the street above evening traffic.

THWIP - THWIP another pair pull them up higher in quick swings so that they're up above the tenaments, up above the sound of cars, and just above the natural haze of people pollution, "Not all the time, but... yeah, pretty much all of the time. I don't have a lot of hobbies and unlike your guy Peter, I don't have a gorgeous young Kits to pal around with by the lake..."

The sound of her gasps and cries, however, have him grinning beneath that mask. Glancing over at her frequently and lingeringly, almost to the point he isn't even paying attention except that he still seems to know exactly where he is anyways.

Shadowcat has posed:
The tight confines of the alleyway rushing past do get a little squeal from Kitty. The sharp turn at the end is soundless but boy is Kitty hanging tight! She lets out a laugh though once there are less objects within crashing distance of them.

"You probably don't realize it," Kitty tells him. "But the fact I didn't phase during any of that, was an expression of great trust in you!" she calls him over the whoosh of the air flowing past them.

She is watching the passing city more than him. Who wouldn't be? "This is pretty amazing," she tells him. "You're pretty amazing. I might have to ask Peter if I can see other webslingers," she tells Spider-Man. "So how do you know about the lake? Were you spying on us, Spider-Man?" she asks, not really managing teasing given the exhilaration of swinging through the air on webs.

Spider-Man has posed:
Spidey doesn't say it, and likely never will, but he wasn't 100% certain that the line was going to hold through that tight turn. His spider senses usually let him know when he needs to fire a line, but... so many variables have to be figured into things, so it's with no small amount of relief that he looks like a hero and not the guy who got Kitty Pryde splat against the wall on their third date.

"Yeah, I knew exactly what I was doing." Said deadpan, "Honestly, this is all sort of controlled chaos.. I mean I know generally the geometry of the thing, fire line here-" THWIP and they swing in a tighter arc and shoot up wards with the kick of his feet, his hand holding to her thigh just above one of the holes in her jeans to keep her up against him, "-or another there..." THWIP, he fires one off to the side and bodily yanks himself into a different direction down a smaller side street.

"But in the heat of it, it's all guess work and trusting that it's going to work..." His big eyes look right at Kitty against him in a slow, intentionally slow, comical fashion, "Except in the alley. I knew exactly what I was doing..." Repeating it for proper comedic effect.

"Ehhh, I'm not that great really. You're enamoured now because I smell like a laundry mat in chinatown, but as soon as I clean myself up, you'll realize I'm just an amazing fella with incredible muscles and a heart of gold..." THWIP THWIP

His line yank them up into an over the wall turn that ends with him dancing foot to foot across steam vents and ending in a low crouch atop a brown stones stairwell. "Actually... that sounds pretty awesome..." His head pops up all surprise "Uhhh oh right.. yeah.. so... he... the thing is.. at the lake-.. I got nothing. Creepy facebook guy 4life" Four fingers up, that then become a sideways L of thumb and index finger.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde turns her attention back from the passing city to give Spider-man a specious look. "I don't mind the height or even falling. It would be the splatting into a wall I wasn't expecting that would be the hard part, yes," she tells him.

"And note to self, buy Spider-Man some body spray.," she tells him. Though she hasn't pulled her head away from where it's pressed in close to his body, so obviously that chinatown laundry can't smell TOO bad.

Once they are on the stairwell, Kitty lets up her grip a bit, but still clings to him. Her hands go to Spider-Man's mask, unbidden, pulling it back up above his mouth. And if the first kiss in the park seemed deep, and sultry? This one makes it seem tame.

Spider-Man has posed:
"Well, yeah... It's not the fall that kills you is it? It's the sudden stop at the end." Spidey says with a palms up shrug in her direction and a grin behind that thin mask that adjusts around his mouth. "I wouldn't have let us splat, I'm better than that.." Maybe, jury is still out.

Because she's insulting the natural spidey musk! His arm comes up for a sniff, "Oo.. jeez, yeah, getting a little ripe huh?" He was just going to go into another long, probably drawn out, and winded joke segment when she reaches for his mask again.

Which he is not stopping, except that he grabs the mask to pull forward off his face entirely. His hand comes up to the back of her neck and he settles backwards, easily supporting them both and keeping them balanced on any small portion of wall as she pushes into this new kiss. This far more inclusive and deeper kiss, "Alright, Kits.. I think it's safe to say we're going to have to tell Peter about us..." Sliding his gloved hand down the back of her neck, then up into her hair, "It isn't fair to him.." All very quiet, eyes searching hers while his arm holds her tight to his chest around her waist.

Shadowcat has posed:
There doesn't seem to be any kind of spider musk issue keeping the young woman from kissing Spider-Man deeply, mask or no mask. Finally it comes off though, and the kiss is ended, and Kitty Pryde lets out a deep sigh. "I really do like Peter though. He has a lot going for him," she says.

Kitty gives a forlorn little sigh, turning away for a moment as if in thought. "I guess, a situation like this, where I feel so strongly for the two of you? There's really only one thing that can be done about a situation like this." She turns back towards him dramatically.

"Threesome."

Spider-Man has posed:
"He does kind of seem like an alright guy... I mean for a not spider-man." Peter murmurs with his lip quirked up with his brow, almost torn himself! If only pretendedly, "I hate to sweep in and steal a dudes lady, that's just the sort of trash the Daily Bugle likes to tag on Peter's pictures of me..." One hand slides from her neck to wave like a marque, "Spider Menace - homewrecker... actually that kind of has a ring to it."

His head wiggles back and forth as if considering, "Nah.. wouldn't fit on a business card."

The hand comes down to brush the hair out of her face, palm against her cheek framing the side of her eye, right where his are focused, "We kill- oh... right.. Threesome.. yeah of course." He's grinning up at her now, "You've got moxie, Kits.." Thumb clipping her chin, "I want to ask you something... and it's okay if you say no."

She can feel his heart this close, but it's just faster than the fast it was before. "Do you validate?"

"No, I'm kidding..." More seriously, "How close is your apartment?"

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty grins back to him. She reaches over to slip her hand into his, the affection sweet and gentle after the rather sultry kiss that she'd given him. "Not that far away, actually. 177A Bleecker Street," she tells him.

Kitty looks up at Peter, and her expression softens a little bit. "Were you thinking that you needed that shower really badly?" she asks him. She can't quite say it without a little bit of a shy blush on her cheeks, though rather than move away from him, she moves in a little closer, sliding a hand up to rest on his shoulder as she lifts her eyes to the taller young man.

Spider-Man has posed:
"I know where that's at." Peter says with a slow nod, slipping his fingers into her's and then extending it up over his head to pull her even closer against him, "Don't you?" He wonders with a quirk of his brow and tilt, slide really, of his head. "It's like a football locker room in this spandex. A hive of scum and villain in the crotch area... Seriously, babypowder is..." He closes his eyes and waves his hand a little.

"Really not what I want to talk about... but I'm nervous, which I shouldn't be, and you do something to me... which I do understand, but not like I ever have in recent memory." His other hand stay in the small of her back, crawling around her spine with itsy bitsy spider steps like a sneaking hand ninja going nowhere at all.

"Can we forget about the crotch area thing? That was poorly thought out and the delivery didn't really stick.. I'm quick witted, but even I can't always work under these salicious conditions." His head rests back on the stairwell, glancing from her dark eyes down to her chin, and then back up less he... "Either way, Peter and I are two lucky guys.. if he doesn't tell you at least once a day, let me know and I'll thrash him a good one." Mimicing Caps all american threats.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty covers her face at all of that, but she's laughing as she does. She pulls it back down and smiles up at Peter and gives a happy sigh. "We can forget about the hive of scum and villainy part of it anyway," she tells him. "Because, yeah," Kitty adds, making a little grimace face, "Probably not really the imagery you want to give to the girl you're wooing."

Kitty slips her hand into Peter's and tells him, "Let's go back to my apartment. And hopefully Doctor Strange doesn't teleport you to Mars," she teases.
