Cast of Characters: Superboy, Ravager

Superboy has posed:
Lately Conner has been absent, and when he has been around, Rose wasn't. The woman has a new job, after all. A well-paid one just when money was running short. And Conner has been in Metropolis again, catching up with old friends. And old problems.

But today they have a few hours to spend together, and they went to have lunch, and then a movie, and then... they are out of the movie. Night is falling and the streets are getting busy.

Ravager has posed:
Walking out of the movie, Rose Wilson pops what's left of her bubblegum in her mouth, "That movie sucked ass," she tells Conner. She walks along the street and stops at the corner to wait for the light. She pops her bubblegum and says, "Did you fall asleep?" she wonders, glancing at an expensive car that zooms past.

Superboy has posed:
"Not asleep, but yeah," replies Conner with a grin. "You know I can't get much out of movies, senses too sharp," he adds. But really, he wasn't there for the movie, but for the company. "We can still have a fun evening, though... maybe hit a club or," speeding expensive car zooming. "Hey, that one is stolen," he notes.

And sure enough, a police cruise comes racing, turns right and gives chase, now wailing a warning. "Damn... want a ride?" He offers, grinning.

Ravager has posed:
Rose Wilson chews on her gum and pops a bubble as the police zoom by then dodge traffic tailing the stolen car, "How do you know it's stolen...?" she wonders as she turns her head and watches. "You don't like the bus huh?" she snickers, "Okay fine, where we goin?" she asks him.

Superboy has posed:
"Didn't you see? There was a mess of wires on the right side of the wheel," but perhaps Rose missed it. Her eyesight is not as good as Conner's. "They busted the security system and..." he grabs the girl and takes off. "I'll show you. Anyway, I should stop those guys before they run someone over."

Because the vehicle is accelerating, and skips a red light, forcing several other cars to hit the brakes violently. The police cruiser is forced to stop to avoid a crash.

Conner is faster, though.

Ravager has posed:
"God Dammit, what the hell you talking about?" Rose Wilson blurts out, "The ****in police are handling in Conner, erp!" she says as Conner grabs her and takes off. "I don't have my weapons! I don't have /&&it/!" she yells, trying not to struggle and be dropped like a bag of beans. As Conner speeds up, Rose squints and tries to look at the traffic ahead, but something in the back of her head says, "They're going to turn at the next right! Conner! Gawd! Turn!"

Superboy has posed:
"It is okay, I will catch them... holy crap!"

They turn RIGHT, into a ONE way street. Which is the WRONG way. A large van is forced to wheel left, to the sidewalk, where several New Yorkers have to dive out of the way. And then the van well... it is about to slam against a bus.

Conner drops Rose. Actually he tosses her, so she lands on the top of the fleeing car. He really hopes her reflexes are up to the task.

That is actually safer than staying with him. As he is speeding to intercept the van, standing in front of it and attempting to slow it down with his telekinesis without crushing it.

Unsurprisingly he ends up between the van and the bus as they crash into each other. That is going to leave a bruise even in his near-invulnerable flesh.

Ravager has posed:
"You'll what...?" Rose Wilson yells, "Dammit!" she adds as Conner throws her like a fastball and she begins to count the seconds in her head, as if anticipating every action and muscle movement, slowing descending into The Zone. And she's on top of the white Jaguar for two seconds, waiting for two more seconds as the car veers to the left, using it's momentum to swing down the side and into the car. She crashes in feet first, her shoes ruined as she sends the window into the car with her own momentum, slamming the glass remnants into the driver's face along with her feet. The car veers around and then she grabs the steering wheel. She takes the passenger's face and slams it into her knee while sitting on the driver's lap. All that takes less than a minute, give or take.

Superboy has posed:
Conner pushes the van off him with a groan. There goes his jacket number one of the month. And this time he wasn't even using his black t-shirt with the red S, but a nice button down shirt.

He shakes his head and looks for Rose, seeing she is punching people inside the car. Good. And the Jaguar completely out of control. BAD.

He still needs to spend a couple seconds pulling the driver out of the van and making sure she has nothing important broken before being able to fly to help the white-haired girl.

Ravager has posed:
The driver is a bloody mess but still struggles with the crazy Rose Wilson, who elbows him in the stomach. Up ahead, Rose can already anticipate the neighborhood kids playing on the sidewalk and she yells out as an image of the white car veers toward them. "You piece of ****!" she says, cussing out the car thieves. She slams her foot onto the foot of the driver, starting to brake the car forcibly. The driver turns the wheel and the car starts to skid.

Superboy has posed:
The driver howls as Rose breaks a few bones of his feet stomping on it, but the Jaguar is skidding, slowing down... and it flips over, for a second it seems it will crush a gaggle of kindergartens.

But at the last second Conner catches it, and skids a few feet on the sidewalk too. Fortunately no kids get crushed. "Whew," he grunts. "You okay in there, baby?" He asks, peering through the broken side window.

Ravager has posed:
"Yeah, ****in perfect," Rose Wilson says dryly, lifting her head, "Great night," she adds. She crawls out of the car wreck and brushes glass off of herself. She looks back over the car at the nearby kids, "Could be ****in worse, I guess," she notes.

Superboy has posed:
"Conner leans on the somewhat battered Jaguar and smiles. "Yeah, it could have been far worse, you did great," he comments, glancing at the thieves and making sure they are alive, if somewhat battered. They deserved it. "Sorry for... er... not giving you more warning." Then he offers her his hand. "Lets go home, hmm? We can call in some dinner and still have time to make the night better."
