Cast of Characters: Green Lantern (Jordan), Saint Walker, Kinsey MacKenna

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Hal Jordan, Green Lantern had arrived in the Sol System a few seconds ago, his emerald light just a little dimmer than normal. His melancholy expression reveals that things had not been going well as a member of the Green Lantern Corps. Slightly distracted, and before he knew it, he was near MacKenzie Station once more. What was it about this place that keeps bringing him here?

Deciding to stop in and visit with the new Lantern that was a top dog on the station, Hal Jordan wills his ring to send a message to Kinsey. "Hey. Any news on the Earth sit rep since I've been away the last two weeks? I promise next time to bring cruellers from Alpha Strontian. Next time." Hal knew she would probably be there, but did not know if Saint Walker was nearby. His ring hadn't sensed the blue lantern light yet.

Saint Walker has posed:
While there was no immediate reply from Kinsey, Walker does reach out to Hal, ring to ring.

"Greetings brother Hal," his ever cheerful voice being transmitted to Hal across space. "Sister Kinsey is temporarily indesposed but I feel I can say confidently you would be welcome aboard the station."

There's a quick pause while Walker sorts out where he was on the station. "You can find me on the command level."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"It is great to hear from you Saint Walker! Thank you! I will proceed then! I know Colonel Danvers has said I could come aboard, but it is always good to ask permission first!" Sending that to Saint Walker through their ring communication network, Hal Jordan enters the station and without too much of a pause, heads to the command deck.

Arriving pretty quickly, Hal Jordan looks around, and spies Saint Walker. "Wow the command deck. I haven't been up here yet. You must be pretty important to Alpha Flight nowadays are you?" A pause. "Oh. Sorry. Good to see you!"

Kinsey MacKenna has posed:
Kinsey had been called to attend to a minor emergency - she was ranking person on the station at the moment, as was happening more often of late, and such things fell to her purview. But her fellow Lanterns were known entitities, and were most certainly welcomed aboard the station, and told where Kinsey would meet them.

The room was like most board rooms, or command stations, only there was a carafe of fresh coffee, and a plate of still warm ginger snaps. It seems someone is lucky! Or two someones as it happens.

It's not long after the pair of Lanterns arrive in the room that Kinsey herself shows up, sighing, "Sorry about that. You know how these things are. You stop to fix one problem. Seven more crop up. I hope it wasn't too long a wait? But I must say I'm glad it's both of you today, we have things to talk about."

The door is closed behind her.

Saint Walker has posed:
"Well, politeness is always important," Walker replies, his grin coming through in the tone of his voice.

When Hal joins him he shakes his head, "No, Kinsey is the important one, I am just a frequent guest," he says of his role with Alpha Flight and their station. "And it is good to see you as well."

Kinsey's arrival is met with a warm smile and shake of his head, "No, not too long at all, and hmm what sort of things are those?"

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Holding up his hands and responding with a smile, Hal Jordan says, "No worries Kinsey. I understand the demands on your time. You have responsibilities. I get it. It wasn't too long a wait, and Saint Walker is more than capable of being good company." Hal nods towards Walker. It was always good to see him. To see both of them.

"So I dropped everything to head back home, because I heard a rumour something big was happening here on Earth? It was kind of tough, since I just had a squad of Green Lanterns coral a tough group of yellows, who are now cooling their heels in the Sciencells on Oa. Very unhappy I might add."

Hal subscosciously rubs a fresh would across his left cheek. It looks like it was a recent "war wound", probably made by another ring wielder. It "smelled" of a "yellow". "Anyway. What's new here in Earth orbit?"

Kinsey MacKenna has posed:
Kinsey offers Brother Walker a smirk, and nods, "Yes, he's fair enough company. He still owes me a dinner, though." Who knows if she's teasing or not. Her reply might be to Hal, but the look was most definitely for Saint, who, for his benefit, she explains, "Those are ginger snaps. Best eaten hot. I was afraid I was going to miss that window. You can also dunk them in your coffee."

She encourages both to take seats and help themselves.

"I'll try to make this brief as we have a lot of things to talk about, and the most pressing matter is actually quite urgent and needs all of our attention."

She pours herself a mug of coffee, and passes the carafe over; a couple of cookies find themselves beside her mug.

"Brother Walker will remember that I've had a number of runins with a Cybetronian named blurr. As it happens, I encountered him on earth and we had a little talk that has me quite concerned. It seems there is a crashed vessel upon earth that's avoided discovery up to this time. Kibou assures me it's not fault of our own - we weren't looking in the right places, and the overlying rock structures interferred with normal scans. But he has narrowed down two locations that seem likely."

And here's where she sobers, "I don't think I need to explain to either of you why this is troubling. And while I might not be fully aware of all of it, their reputation goes before them. We most certainly do not wish them on earth, and I've been given some authority to speak on behalf of Alpha Flight here and offer what services may be needed."

Not to mention, her position as a Lantern, but she can't commandeer the others.

Saint Walker has posed:
Walker frowns, "I hope the yellows didn't give you and your fellow greens too much trouble," he says absently waving his wing by Hal's face infusing him with the healing blue light of hope and hopefully closing the wound in the process.

There is a smile for Kinsey's joke before helps himself to a ginger snap. "Thank you," he says taking a healthy bite.

The news however is less good than the cookie. "Cybertronians on Earth?" he says concern kitting his brows. "What does Blurr want done about the ship? And more importantly, what does Earth want done with it?"

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"It is troubling..." Hal munches on a ginger snap while sipping his coffee. A tad too loud. He hasn't sat down, instead, taking a moment to lean against the side wall, near the exit. "Thanks Walker." Absently scratching at the healed cheek, Hal grins. "We could have used you, and we had some casualties, but we won. Getting tough out there..."

Looking back at Kinsey, Hal adds, "This is just what I was afraid of. These things spreading their war to Earth. I wonder why we haven't detected them before now."

Munch, munch, munch. Slurp. "Two locations. That leaves a lot of space, but it is a place to start. I take it this "Blurr" character is helping us so he can help his people? Figures." Munch. "I'll need to call in backup if this goes south. Some of these Cybertronians swing at the big boys level. I might even need the Justice League, and Supes or Wonder Woman to help."

Hal Jordan shakes his head. "We'll need your help Kinsey, and Alpha Flight, before this is over. Just what I need...well, the GLC can help re-locate them if we can't repair their ships. Get them back to their home, so they can do what they need to do off my planet."

Kinsey MacKenna has posed:
Kinsey had the pained look of someone who has waltzed out of her quiet little lab into full on administation work. She thought it was just the lab she was overseeing.. But between that, the Station, and her ring, her life was rahter chock full as she might have said once. And certainly a lot more exciting than she had ever been used to.

Hal's injuries do get a look of concern, too, but there's healing to be had, and no long-lasting ill effects that she's aware of. What's on their plate is much bigger than the group of now deal with yellows in the grander scheme of things.

"Blurr has actually not said much of anything more than he'd speak to his.. brethren. I don't know. I have a very, very bad feeling about this." She pauses, frowning deeply, then speaks up. "Which I'm assured actually bears some weight for myself." A nod to Brother Walker, then she looks to Hal. "My other news, which was rather more exciting until this, is that I am.. not human. In fact, I've been rather assured at least one of my parents were Kree, and given current testing methods, my seventh sense is alive and well, and this is not good. I thought we had time with this, but every day the feeling of dread I have is growing. It's like this burning tingle along the back of my spine and down my arms."

"I don't think we have the luxury of waiting to see what Blurr wishes. Not if we also wish to protect our own. I can't explain it more than that. I just know it is."

Saint Walker has posed:
"Agreed, it is best we act quickly and remove the Cybertronians to their home space before their war can do damage to Earth, or worse yet, that either side might call for reinforcements," Walker says solemnly.

The other news though, that gets his attention. "So you are a Kree then and one with a fully developed Seventh Sense, interesting, we shall have to discuss this later," he says. "However I suppose we must focus on one thing at a time."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Hal Jordan finishes up his ginger snap and coffee. "Okay. A plan of attack. And a bad feeling. Sounds like a regular day at the office." Hal's non-chalant "where angels fear to tread" attitude comes out in the "fly by the seat of his pants" comments. When Kinsey reveals she's Kree, Hal only smiles. "I agree with Saint Walker. We will need to discuss it later."

"Some of my best friends are "aliens" Kinsey. One is even a big, blue, boy scout who can shatter planets with his fists. Welcome to the Universe." Hal takes it in stride. After all, years of flying the spaceways and fighting alongside a myriad of aliens who he considered his best friends eliminated those prejudices a long time ago.

Putting down his coffee mug, Hal Jordan stretches a bit. "Wow Saint Walker. That is some touch you have. Those muscle pains I had are gone as well. I know a football team that would pay big money to get you on their payroll." A sigh.

"SO. We know its coming then. Glad you are on our team Kinsey. Prophecy and Premonitions always work out well." The sarcasm was obvious. Hal shakes his head, and gets ready to go. "I'll inform the League asap. We have Alpha Flight. We'll have to see what happens then."

Kinsey MacKenna has posed:
"That's about what Superman said," Kinsey says wryly. "It's taken me a bit, but I'm not ready to go running off into the sunset screaming this isnt' possible anymore."

Another of those sighs. "I haven't really had a lot of time to come to terms with it given matters. And yes, I expect we will all speak of it soon enough. And, they are safest further away from our planet." A pause. "Actually, I don't know if I get to say that anymore. How odd. Regardless, earth is not the best home for Cybertronians. As it is I had to lie to a police officer already, and I think he's becoming a bad habit where I'm concerned for dragging his feet out of the fires of trouble."

"Most importantly, this is going to need a concerted, and orchestrated effort on all our parts."
