Cast of Characters: Grail, Starfire

Grail has posed:
When she noticed it, it imediately interested her. She really didn't expect a lot to surprise her on this world. She had known there were Kryptonians here and she figured that'd be the most impressive thing about this world. The only reason her father had not simply wiped out this world. Now, she was looking at a floating island, amaed by it and hearing people speaking of some kind of man named Magneto. She had moved to one of the most southern points in NYC, rushing to the roof of a high rise in Mid-Island, looking out at the floating island and considering, "Perhaps I should go say hello..."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r was just looking around, holding the Silkie. She's carrying a bag from a pet store - she bought a few things though they didn't know what to make of the love bug. She then sighs, as she wanted to see this thing for herself. The orange-skinned Tamaranean woman is looking up at the island too - but doesn't want to go up there. She's just looking around at the closest land location to where the island is floatnig - just getting a lay of the land.

Grail has posed:
A blink as she realizes she isn't alone up here. She turns her gaze to Kory, tilting her head as she looks over the girl and then considers, "A Tamarenean, here?" She asks of the woman before looking then up at the island again but then back to Kory. The woman walks over toward her, crossing the roof, though not using her amazing speed to do so, just normal walking, "What is a Tamarenean doing on Planet Earth?" The woman asks, tilting her head a little to the left and then right as she looks the orange woman over.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r turns when she hears that call. She looks at you, up and down - then frowns. "What..." She then frowns as she takes a step backwards. "You.... I do hope you're not the race I think you are. You appear to be Czarnian. And... I really don't want to mess wtih them right now." The Silkie gurgles happily, seeming unaware of his mistress' anger.

Grail has posed:
A blink and she stops, turning her head slightly, "Czarnian?!" She laughs and shakes her head, "They are all quite dead. Save for that one loud mouthed oaf who I put through a wall." She nods her head and looks to Starfire, "You should learn your history." She then considers, "Though, you I seem to recall something..." She considers and lifts a hand to tap at her chin lightly, "You wouldn't happen to be a certain displaced princess, would you?" She shakes her head, "No, now that'd be far too interesting a coincidence. All the same, though. I am not sure who or what you wish to mess with...but I am Grail." She nods her head.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r just blinks. "Right... galactic history wasn't a high priority recently..." She then immediately raises a hand, emerald energy covering it as soon as you say the word 'Princess'. Still holding the love bug, her stance has shifted to a far more aggressive form - basically confirming the charge. She then hisses, "Grail?" She is looking ready to fight. "What are your intentions, and who are you working for?"

Grail has posed:
"I'd put that away." She states softly as she tilts her head, "And who do I work for? I work for me." She states simply, "I am under no one's thrall." She then looks over at the floating island, "Now, either fire that blast or put it away." She states before looking back over at Kory, "Or do you want to play a little game, first? I suppose I have time."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r sighs softly as she lowers her hand, the emerald energy dissipatnig. "Sorry... I'm under a bit of stress. I heard bounty hunters are in this sector. Not sure if they're after me but I'm getting a bit paranoid. I'm Koriand'r." She sighs softly. "I don't want the Silkie to see me fight. It's bad for him." She just sits on an AC unit and scritches the larva.

Grail has posed:
A look over at the thing she is holding and Grail tilts her head, "The Silkie?" She asks and eyes the creature before shaking her head, "I am not sure it cares much either way but sure. If that is your wish." She sighs, "Sounds boring but then it is like the rest of this world. Boring, without spirit." She chuckles a little as she looks up then at the island again, "If you have such power, why do you fear bounty hunters? Can you not destroy them easily enough?"

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r just sighs. "The problem is if my sister finds out where I am. Lobo would just be the harbinger. Even if I can drive him away - my life here would be over. Komand'r would reign down hell on this world to get me back. There is no fighting this. I just have to hide."

Grail has posed:
A smirk and she shrugs, "I would rain down hell upon her first. That is me though." She then looks toward the island, considering, "You wouldn't be chance know a man named Kal-El or know the whereabouts of Darkseid?" She looks to Kory and hmms at her, "I was brought here under certain pretenses and yet still I have found no answers."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r hmmmmmms. "Not sure about the first name. Sounds vaguely familiar but nothing comes to mind. As for Darkseid... we have enough problems without HIM coming here." She sighs softly. "Could you describe this Kal-El better? I know I've heard something like that name before..." She hmmmmms.

Grail has posed:
"No, I cannot." She states simply enough and Grail turns her gaze on Kory, "And Darkseid was here. He was supposedly last seen here." She eyes Kory with those solid red eyes, "And I will find him." Her teeth clench as she walks back toward Kory and tilts her head, "Koriand'r. If you know something about him, you would tell me, wouldn't you?" She asks and seems to clench her hand into a fist, her eyes glowing just a hint.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r waggles her finger at you. "Hey - I thought we agreed to not attack each other." She shrugs. "I want no part of Darkseid. His reputation is legendary - and only a fool would seek him out. But as for this Kal-El... I have no knowledge. Do you even know what species he is?"

Grail has posed:
"He is Kryptonian." She states simply enough, "So far, I have found many on this world. It is a strange place." She then turns her gaze, "And I am no fool." She turns to look back at the island, "I will find him...and when I do..." A metallic pole slips from her wrist and slides down. A moment later she flicks her hand and a wicked scythe blade appears, "I will kill him..." She nods her head and then looks back at Kory, "He will die." She then smirks and looks to the island, "However, what do you know of that?" She gestures to the island.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r blinks. "From what I understand, that's the work of the mutant known as Magneto. He ruled an island kingdom offshore - kind of its own government thing - not sure why he levitated it - or even how. I didn't think he was that powerful. I try to stay out of mutant affairs. Mutants seem to be very unpopular and hated and I'd rather not be lumped in with them just because my skin is orange and I taste things different or can fly."

Grail has posed:
"I care not about this world's likes or dislikes." Grail flicks again and the blade flips shut before she slides the weapon away, "I am curious about osmeone powerful enough to perform such a feat as this. He may be useful in a fight against...Darkseid." She states, hesitating before she shakes her head, "Though I see no true warriors upon this world. All those who won't do what is necessary to ensure peace."
