Synopsis:	Diana and Cassie spend a little time together getting reacquainted and sharing a bit about what Cassie's been up to of late!

Wonder Woman has posed:
Its been some time since Diana was at at the Consulate in Metropolis. She hadn't been here since March! The staff at the Consulate had, of course, been in contact with the Princess of Themyscira, but Diana's duties had primarily held her up in the Manhattan area, if she'd come out to Metropolis it was to spend time at the Justice League's headquarters, and then head back to New York.

Now, today, Diana is visiting the Consulate which has become a museum of sorts for Themysciran artifacts and recovered relics connected to the people of Paradise Island. She'd put a word out to others in the area to visit her while she was there, Cassie was included in those invites.

At this moment, Diana is inside the main foyer of the large building, she's speaking with the Director who's operating the recovery and restoration of the artifacts and antiquities that are being housed and restored here in this large home, now primarily converted into a museum and art gallery.

Diana is in casual clothing, black denim pants, a white top and a dark red light jacket overtop. Her hair is tied back into a pony tail and she has a pair of sunglasses resting on the top of her forehead. She's smiling to the woman who is the Director here, a casual conversation being had.

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie was helping teach a self-defense class at one of Diana's sponsored centers in New York when the invitation went out. And after a quick shower and a change of clothing, the blonde girl was on her way to Metropolis as fast as she could fly. Once at the Consulate, Cassie was told by the staff that Diana was in 'civilian' clothes, so another quick change out of her Wonder Girl outfit and into a pair of slacks, a red polo shirt, and straightening her hair into a ponytail was in order.

Cassie entered the foyer from the Staff area. Her face brightened upon seeing Diana, and her walking pace quickened, but she still held back on rushing her older sister and giving her a huge hug. Decorum had to be maintined, after all. But upon reaching where Diana was chatting with the director, Cassie's smile was as wide as possible. "Hello, Diana." She also greeted the Director and gave both women courteous bows.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana's conversation was just about over by the time Cassie did arrive, as happenstance would have it! So when Cassie speaks, they both look to her and Diana shows an expression of swelling up with warmth and positivity. "Cassie." She says in her husky-hued voice as she moves to be the one who gives the big hug. The 6'0" dark haired Amazonian Princess wraps her arms about Cassie's shoulders and embraces the young sister she'd only 'just' had added to her life in recent years.

"It is so good to see you... It has been for-ev-er." She states in her non-American accented English. Diana steps back then and her hands both take hold of either of Cassie's shoulders. Now, the Princess looks to the golden haired Wonder Girl and shows a big smile that has a hint of a playful grin threatening to over take it. "I am so glad you came. I spoke to one of the Titans just the other day and she, Colette, made it sound as though you have been veeery busy."

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie giggles at the hug, returning it mid-lift. "It's good to see you too," she adds, clearly happy that decorum isn't on Diana's mind today. At the mention of being busy, Cassie sighs and rolls her eyes. "Father decided to call me to Olympus." She says in a slightly flat tone. Almost annoyed, even. "So, I had to drop everything to go spend some 'bonding' time with him, as he put it." She finger-quotes the 'bonding'. "I arrive. Thirty minutes later, he's...distracted." She rolls her eyes and gives Diana a 'you know what I mean' look.

"Oh, he checked in on me a couple times a day. But mostly, I ended up sacrificing 4 months to hang out on Olympus and dodge awkward conversations with Hera." A deep breath and she re-centers herself. Cassie whispers to Diana, "I love him, but sometimes I think when Athena burst forth from his forehead, she took all his common sense with her..." She giggles a bit, letting the last vestiges of her frustration fade away. "But, I did get to spend time learning about Olympus and talking with the Goddesses. So, it wasn't all bad. How about you? What have you been up to?"

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana will turn then to motion for them to walk through the central hallway of the Consulate building. Its a 'grand' hall with sculptures, paintings and other art placed along its sides and it eventually leads to a courtyard where two other hallways branch out around it and an exterior walkway leads around the courtyard, the perfect place to walk and talk.

Diana shows a light grin to the words that Cassie speaks. "Yes, well... I do not go there very often. Any invitations I get, which are few and far between now, are met with great hesitation." She states, leaving out much detail as to why or what her reasoning is. She looks over to Cassie then. "But I am glad that you chose to give it a chance. I am sure it was a great learning experience for you, one that will help you with... everything associated to what it is we do. Perspective, yes?"

She shows a light grin then. "Are you excited to be back though? What are your plans now that you are back?"

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie reaches over and puts a sympathetic hand on Diana's arm as she touches on her own relationship with their shared father. "You don't have to justify yourself or your reasons to me, Diana," she says gently. "I'm just the newborn and haven't had to deal with this for as long as the rest. I'm not burned out on disapointment and broken expectations yet. But I'm not going in blind, either. Thanks to the advice from you, I'm not setting myself up for disappointments. I'll still keep trying to reach that better nature of his, though. For all of us."

She wipes a finger under her eyes quickly, and takes a deep breath. "But yes. Lots of perspective. Got sick of ambrosia after the first month, though. First thing I did when I got back was bliss out at Big Belly Burger." She laughs for a bit, exhaling to remove tension in herself. "As for plans...still going to help out at the Embassy & shelters in Manhattan. Still with the Titans. Getting back into my classes at NYU. And, joining up with Red Robin and Superboy on a new venture of theirs. A new team called the Outsiders. I'm going to work with them when I have the time. And I'll be training both them and the Titans." She looks up at Diana and asks, "It's still okay if I teach Amazon fighting techneques to males? I know Robin has been taking some of the classes in Manhattan to add another technique to the 275 other fighting styles he already knows..." A giggle and a grin follows, although Damian's dedication to martial perfection is one of the things she likes about the young crimefighter.

Wonder Woman has posed:
As the two progress down the hallway they pass underneath three crystal and silver chandeliers that offer soft illumination to the hallway around them, with the double French doors that lead out to the court yard looming just up ahead.

"Of course it is fine for you to teach men the ways of the Amazon, if they wish to learn them." She states in response to that last question and she looks over to Cassie to smile upon her. "It is through teaching our ways that everyone who wishes to, can... benefit from the regimented structure, the dedication and hard work. These sorts of things help shape a person into... the best person they can be. So I would never call for that to be restricted to females alone." Another glance is given to Cassie then and a slight grin is shown. "My mother might, but not I."

She looks forward to the court yard doorway and she reaches out for them to open them so they can both step out onto the stone pathway. Its sunny out and the weather is not overly hot today.

"So you have a lot on your plate, as it sounds." Diana then states. "NYU and... a whole new team of heroics looking to set out on the world?" She asks then, clearly hinting at the time availability issues that must create for the young Cassie.

Wonder Girl has posed:
"More like a 'we're getting the band back together' for Young Justice. And a few extra friends and companions," Cassie explains as they step out into the courtyard. She brethes in deeply, enjoying the fresh air. Even by Metropolis' impressive standards of air quality, the gardens at the Consulate always smell sweeter and more refreshing.

"I know. I'm taking on a lot. But...my oldest friends need me from time to time. The Titans need me; especially since Red Robin is saying that his split is more to give Robin some room to show what he can do without a 'big brother' watching over him all the time. So, Robin will need me as a buffer, someone who can soften things and keep the situations from becoming too overbearing when Robin's perfectionism kicks in. NYU is for myself; I need to have a life outside of the costume and the heroics. And, the Embassy and Shelter works are just doing good and helping other reach their potentials." She bites her lip, silently acknowledging that she's trying to do too much, but doesn't want to disappoint any of her frineds and family.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Together they walk along the outskirts of the court yard underneath the balcony above their heads so they walk in the shade just outside of the sunlit gardens themselves. "I am glad that they have you there to help them sort through their tumultuous lives." She speaks of the Titans, the two Robins in particular. "They are good young people, like yourself... But do me a favor and stay safe... make sure they do as well. Do not take undue risks together." Diana fears for the safety of the Young Heroics, she knows how they can push themselves sometimes too far.

There's a warm summer breeze swirling around the through the courtyard as they walk and Diana glances over with a slight smile. "If you are going to be at NYU that means you'll be close enough to visit more often. There are six sisters living in the Embassy now. Up from the two I originally was granted from the Queen. She's becoming more... lenient. Why this time in a thousand years, I might even have -twenty- of our people here." Diana makes a little joke there at the end and shows it with a grin.

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie giggles along with Diana's assessment of Hypolita's 'flexibility' "Growth doesn't happen overnight," she offers to her mentor and sister, helfully. "And even the smallest stream can carve the strongest mountain in time." She hugs the taller woman encouragingly. "More successes lead to greater gains. And you know that I'll help you however you need, as a Sister in word as well as blood." She looks upwards at Diana, blue eyes shining in affection and admiration. "Just let me know what I can do to help. As much as I love the others in my life, you're every bit as loved and important to me, sister."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Those particular words, in that particular arrangement, offered to Diana? They just make the Princess show a visible wealth of more emotional melting. "Awww." She says then to the younger blond beside her. She returns the hug side hug as they stroll together and she leans her head down upon the side/top of Cassie's own. "You're the sweetest... You are too good for them on Olympus." She says additionally then before raising her head up again to grin to Cassie. "You are staying with us now, not them." She's teasing of course, even if some part of her means it!

"Speaking of that... how long are you here today? Do you want to stay for dinner? I can have a great meal made up for us if so. But..." Diana holds her grin then to the other. "As busy as you are, I imagine you must have soooo many things to get to that are not involving dinner with your oh-so boring older sister." Even a 900 year old Amazonian Princess can jest around in a good natured way when she's in a good mood, as she is here and now with Cassie.

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie giggles and hugs Diana again. "Oh, I'm never to busy to enjoy dinner with my sister. Even if she is old and boring." A playful wink is offered.

"Just so long as there's baklavah for desert."
