Iron Man has posed:
A big infodump arrives on the shared information hub, sent over from the Avengers to the X-men. Tony's got a variety of information on the recent movements of the Sentinels, and some laboratories in the north. Some cyborg style Sentinels appear to have come out of some facilities up there. In addition, the friends of Humanity have control of a mold, and there's a very clear opportunity to potentially hit them where they live.

While the information itself is great, it also indicates something else important: Tony's looking at the information hub. Getting his attention at all can be a chore, after all.

"We'll be doing a move on the other mold; we can hit both if your team's up for it. Also, Trask's in Russia, by the way. - TONY STARK" as a note gets added to the pile of digital data.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty has settled into a groove, working in the city at Stark Tower during the day. Sometimes staying the night in her room in the Sanctum that she's self-titled 'Narnia', or as often as not using the magic mirror in the wardrobe to step through into her room at Xavier's school.

With the resources she has, there is also probably a fair amount of working from home, and that's where Kitty is, working from the X-men base when the information comes through. "Ooo, I wonder if I could get those tickets through Tony," Kitty says to herself. She pulls up some signals intelligence they've been putting together to send back. "Think we would be on board for that hit, will tell my team," she types in. "Also: So I'm dating Spider-Man as it turns out. Planning to get him some Mets tickets for his birthday. Any chance you've got some corporate tickets or something better than center field?"

Iron Man has posed:
Tony's not at home, but he can relay information like nothing else. JARVIS reads the text aloud, while Tony digs around through a few bins of things in the Avengers' medical lab. He looks up in surprised amusement at the dating comment. "Good for you, kid," Tony chuckles aloud.

"When's his birthday?" Tony asks, then, of JARVIS.

"In three days, on the 24th," JARVIS informs the inventor. "He will be twenty-six."

"Huh," Tony remarks, pausing in his activity. He stands up, coughing into his hand. This persistent cold needs to go away. "Tell Pepper to handle the tickets, and who they're for," he asserts. The reply to Kitty is simple:

"Sure. Done."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty sees the response come through and does pirouette in celebration that would have Natasha jealous. Kitty rubs her hands together. "And a new Mets hat to replace the one he lost fighting Rhino, and it's going to be a super birthday," she says with a grin.

Kitty sends back, "Thank you! Going to get you a World's Best Boss mug for your birthday next year. So Trask in Russia. Has he lost his grip on his company or is he still in control of assets there?" she sends him back as she skims through the infodump, pulling out bits to put into the X-men's daily reports. The Friends of Humanity info is always a high priority to the group, and goes near the top of the page.

Iron Man has posed:
A pity Tony doesn't get to observe the pirouette or pleasure.

"I've got two," Tony answers immediately. It's text, but she probably can hear his tone of voice even so, but is it a joke?

"He has control there, but he's acting through others. Still, the trails of him directing a lot of it will be enough to bury him, even if all he does from here on out is pick his nose."

"We got a hit on a Sebastion sighting, but that trail's cold. I'll update if it happens again. Technopathy used, finally caught him doing it: he's been subtle about it before."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's teeth grind a little bit at the mention of Sebastion. "Why is the the robots from the future are never friendly, here-to-serve-humanity types? And I don't mean in the cookbook vein either." She pulls up the latest information on Sebastion, leaning forward with her elbows on the counter as she does.

Lockheed flies over to land on her shoulder, the empathic dragon sensing the tenseness that results from Kitty contemplating him. She rubs the dragon's head without thinking, murmuring to him, "No way we can let Rachel's future happen," she says. She shares her next thoughts with Tony. "Seems like maybe we could come out with this situation with a little gain of support from the public for the mutant's situation. If we can keep Sebastion from upgrading these things and bringing that future we've heard of from becoming a reality. Though it seemed to stem from bills out of Congress. Hopefully we have a bit more of that on our side now."

Iron Man has posed:
"Well, he was doing a good impression of being friendly at first," Tony observes back, typing. He takes a pause to go back into what he was doing. "Dictation, JARVIS," Tony orders, before sneezing. "But not the sneeze."

"Of course, sir," JARVIS answers.

"I think he'll go after the friends of humanity himself. Or even Trask. So at least they aren't climbing in bed together. While that holds, we're in better shape than we chould be."

Tony draws out the parts he wanted, and uses his foot to push the box back onto the array of shelving.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty gets up to go and pour herself a fresh cup of coffee. She returns to see the new message arrive as she sips her coffee thoughtfully. She quickly types back, "As long as he doesn't manage to get control of Trask's infrastructure."

Kitty slips back into her chair, and takes a moment to check on the jobs she's running for work, then turns back to the conversation with Tony. "Heard of any change in the situation with Erik and his flying fortress of flying? I was thinking I might offer to go talk to him with Lorna. We have some history. Like that time he was about to kill me then changed his mind. Good times. Anyway, have you heard if he's reacting positively to the steps taken with Trask?"

Iron Man has posed:
"Nothing new, but I'll send a note to Scarlet Witch about it, and forward what I get," Tony answers. He quickly does exactly that, before forgetting - a quick note to Wanda to ask for what she's got on Magneto's flying base and 'mood'. Tony himself tends to stay away from Magneto. Having the arc reactor in his chest doesn't make for much safety there: not that he'd admit it to anyone.

"Vision's back to full Vision-ness, by the way."

Shadowcat has posed:
"Oh, that's wonderful news. I still have to meet him," Kitty replies. "Was over there last week to see Janet. Wanted to remind her she's got friends while she's going through the stuff with her company," Kitty types. She reaches up to ruffle the dragon's heads again, itching where is horns emerge.

Kitty leans back and rubs her chin thoughtfully before leaning forward to type again. "So what is the etiquette on being curious to see an android's code and asking him? Is that akin to asking someone with a tight afro if you can touch their hair? Or worse?" she types. Another sip of coffee is downed before a beeping indicates to her that the new code is uploaded to the Stark satellites. Nothing to do with super hero things, this time, just regular Stark Industries work.

Iron Man has posed:
"He's an example of an AI that isn't out to Skynet," Tony chuckles. "They can exist." Tony pauses, and asides, "JARVIS, you'd warn me, wouldn't you?" Tony jokes with him.

"If the temptation arises, I would say something," JARVIS's mild tone assures. Like creator, like AI.

"Depends. I wouldn't go behind his back to Pym, either," Tony replies. "For more than one reason."

Tony turns back to the consoles. "I've a meeting now. Keep at it. Oh. You can pick up the tickets from the service desk, floor 50," Tony adds, with a gesture at JARVIS to wrap up the conversation.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty sends back a picture of her, with Lockheed on her shoulder. She's holding up her coffee mug which reads "World's Greatest" and then whatever word the mug actually says, she's photo-shopped in 'Boss' overtop of it.

Kitty grins as she sends it off and pats the dragon's head. "Pete's going to love this," she says of taking the Queens native to the game. She grins and then turns back to work on the satellite, outfitting it with her new algorithm to help the satellites figure out where to focus some of their resources to help with Stark Industries shipments to avoid traffic and other factors they can easily track from space.
