Hammerhead has posed:
The Upper West Side is a more upscale part of NYC which one would normally not associate with crime. What crime did come through this neighborhood was mostly through street punks or individual criminals. Recently however, a street gang calling themselves The Tornadoes have shown up in the neighborhood and started causing trouble. This gang, which were easily identified by their blue seaters and blue jeans, were a gang of spoiled trust-fund kids and rich punks who decided to play gangster for fun. While most people have seen them as nothing more as a nusicence, they have been well known to be surprsingly brutal, especially to people who cross them. Even more infuriating was the fact that they tend to get out of jail easily, leading to rumorts that they have someone inside the legal system helping them out.

A group of these Tornadoes were walking down the street, clutching sports equipment. The leader of this group was a thin Asian man with neatly groomed hair clutching a baseball bat. As he walked, he said to his friends," After i get out of college, Father said he would get me into Harvard Law, then a job in his firm. Who knows, maybe I will be defending you chumps someday?" The rest of the group have a good laugh at this.

Hulk has posed:
In a parking lot nearby sits a mobile home, an attachable trailer next to it. Inside that trailer is one Bruce Banner, handling some biology work for one of his ongoing projects.

So far, it's looking like an uneventful day, and now he's looking to take a break.

Stepping out into the night air, he puts on his baseball cap and takes his fold-out chair, placing it before he sits down and leans back into it, relaxing.

Spawn has posed:
As the thugs talk amongst themselves and snicker and snort, and while the general populace cowers and gives them a wide berth, one figure seems to head right toward them. In the night sky it was hard to get a good look at the person, dressed in old, fated ratty army jacket and jeans, their features were vague and almost intentionally boring, their skin some average shade of sickly pale.

This figure heads right towards the Asian one speaking, and the voice that comes from him is muffled, almost hard to hear. But the gravelly pitch was anything but.

"Yeah but life has different plans for you, asshole."

Hammerhead has posed:
The group comes an abrupt stop near the mobile home when the figure blocks their way. The Asian man takes one look at the man and his faded clothes and lets out a guffaw. He then says to the man in a snide voice that had a hint on anger," What do you know. You looked like you crawled out of the shitty gutter. I am worth ten of you! Now, out of the way beofore I make you move!"

Hulk has posed:
Oh boy. Maybe the police can handle this one? Bruce is in no mood to have an episode in New York tonight.

He reaches into his jacket and pulls out his cell phone, dialing 911, "Yes, I'd like to report a disturbance in progress."

Spawn has posed:
The ragged looking form never stopped walking as the thugs kept talking and started making their threats. Even as he was hunched and doubled over, something about him carried a confidence that would have been suspicious to most people watching, most people who had seen millions of situations like these, where some homeless man wanders into a viper's nest of scumbags and gets his skull cracked open because of it.

That's because most bums in this situation weren't actively looking for a fight, like the man in the army jacket who got close enough to throw a wicked looking open-handed strike that was aimed for the Asian thug's throat and adam's apple. At the same time his knee rose up to strike at the poor bastard's groin. Whoever this hobo was, he was -fast-. And he hit like a ton of bricks, if any of these connected.

Hammerhead has posed:
The man lets out a nasty-sounding gurgle as he is struck on the throat, which is quickly replaced with a horrific scream as he is hit in the groin. The man falls onto the ground, screaming in pain as he clutches both his throat and his groin. A second thug, who looked similar to the big brute one of the spiders webbed to the wall the other night steps out from the group weilding a cricket bat. He then lets out a angered bellow and swings the bat at the hobo.

Hulk has posed:
"Make that assault in progress." Bruce can feel the sudden anxiety spike, but keeps his cool for now as he watches the goings on.

Still, he should try to intervene at least.

"Hey, guys. Police are coming. Let's not take this any further, yeah?" Bruce shouts to the group, walking toward them.

Spawn has posed:
Whoever the homeless figure was, it was clear that he had training and some noticeable skill in handling himself in a stressful situation. But anyone could be blindsided, and as the figure's attention turned toward the shouting man from the trailer home, he was cracked right across the face by a European sporting good. It was a -hard- hit, that caused a lout 'CRACK!' to echo across the nearby streets and walls. The figure was hit so hard that his upper torso spun around from the impact, standing with his legs apart, staggering.

When he finally turned around, the side of his face looked like it was ripped apart and open, because instead of flesh, it appeared that instead that part of his face was a shape of dark red...material. Material that started moving. Soon his face in general started melting and ripping itself away, as the entire form seemed to unravel like a mummy.

"Alright...so we're doing this the hard way."

The material fell away to reveal itself as a cape, the black suited figure now standing much taller than he had previously. The spikes, the chains, there was no denying that the 'big' thug had seen this one before.

"You should thank that man over there for dialing the police when he did. Means I don't have a lot of time to break my foot off in yo' ass."

Hammerhead has posed:
"Holy fuck! It's you!' The brute thug looked horified to see that "thing" again. He remebered seeing it burn Richie's hand and carry him away to God knows where. He had been ranting and raving to everyone from the police that arressted him to even Judge Billingsly's assistant Claude when he bailed him out what he saw, but know one believed him. Now, that creature was looking at him again. The Brute immediatley throws his cricket bat at Spawn and flees, being follwed by another goon shortly after. The remaining goons look absolutley terrified. One of them, a tall, broad-shouledered goon suddenly sees Banner and rushes up to him and and wraps his arm around him. He tehn pulls out a knife and sticks it to Banner's neck while saying," Back off dude! Or i'ss stick this fucker!"

Hulk has posed:
And there it goes. Knife to the neck. One bad thing about going incognito is that when people don't recognize you, they don't know to leave well enough alone.

"Please don't-" His words are cut off as he coughs on them. Spawn and the others in front of him will be the first to see it. The green eyes. The sudden skin tone change. It'll take a few seconds, but Bruce also starts to grow in size, body mass starts to come out of nowhere.

Few people will probably realize what is going on, unless they research the Hulk... but anyone who does will immediately recognize the transformation as the Hulk starts to come out.

Spawn has posed:
The cricked bat collided with that leather-clad torso and bounced off uselessly, Spawn just watching the fool head for the hills. But his attention was soon on the hostage taker, instantly the Hellspawn's eyes were flashing dangerously and his cape was swirling violently. This rage it seemed was unfounded, because someone here was far angrier. The giant green figure and the man in the Dracula cape were now stood apart from each other. Instantly, Spawn's plan about coming here and beating more information out of the Tornadoes was forgotten. Now, he had a whole other problem to deal with. Or was it a problem? He stepped forward, sizing the figure up as he spoke.

"That man behind you just told me he thinks you're a pussy. And then he tried to stab you, with a knife. Are you going to let him treat you like that?"

Hammerhead has posed:
The hostage taker's eyes widened as Banner's transformed into Hulk. He immediatley let go and fell of The Hulk's back. The man's eyes were wide as he started at the Green Behemoth, obviously familiar with him from past rampages. He immedialtey books it down the street, followed by the last remaining thug, leaving Spawn's assult victim lying on the ground, wraithing in pain.

Hulk has posed:
As the Hulk growled as he gained his full ten feet, he turns his head in place and roars loud enough to be heard for blocks at the man fleeing with the knife. It's a bestial, raw roar of rage.

Then, he turns to regard Spawn, "Hulk not hear that. Hulk not like being lied to." The Jade Giant sniffs, brings his forearm across his nose absentmindedly, and starts to walk over to Spawn. Loud 'thumps' can be heard -and felt- as the multi-ton creature stalks over, "Who is black and red suited man? Hulk not recognize you."

When he gets near the victim on the ground, Hulk takes his finger and 'bonks' the man. It's just enough to knock him out like a light as he keeps his eyes on Spawn.

Spawn has posed:
That roar was probably enough to make some men deaf, and it was powerful enough that Spawn's cape flew backwards as if he were in front of an explosion. The chains around him flung backwards as well, but the figure stood his ground. And when Hulk got closer, the former soldier started walking as well. He started pacing around, walking in a circular fashion around the embodiment of anger, and the question from the giant received an answer. Short, curt.

    "...Spawn."

It was amazing how well he was adapting to his new life, and how freely he gave out his new moniker. Sizing the monster up, the other monster spoke even as the start of sirens could be heard faintly in the distance. It seemed somebody heard the familiar sound of that familiar roar. Or were they just interested in that original anonymous tip Bruce had left?

"You know, the Agency used to hate you. Had a running bet on who in the world might be able to put you down for good. I always thought it was stupid, myself."

Hulk has posed:
"Humans are stupid. Hulk strongest there is, but they keep trying to hurt Hulk. Humans lucky Hulk isn't being hunted anymore." Hulk leans forward so he's eye level with Spawn. "Chains is lucky Hulk not mad at him."

With that said, Hulk looks to the fleeing humans, and /jumps/ right over to them. The landing is easily enough to crate a crater and minor shockwave... which Hulk targets right next to them to knock them over.

Then, Hulk roars, and jumps again. This time, going north. High and fast.

Seems Hulk is content with leaving the scene.
