Cast of Characters: Beast, Deathstroke
Tinyplot: Sentinels

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy has lots to do in the neighborhood. At the moment he's trying to be of help by bringing a stack of pizzas to a neighborhood community center, where a bunch of kids and teenagers are trying to feel better after the recent Sentinel killing. Stepping out, finishing off the one piece he took, he doesn't expect this.

Floating into the neighborhood is a Sentinel, and it's visibly on patrol.

Deathstroke has posed:
Deathstroke works for money, but in this particular case, it is also his own personal code of honor that has him wearing the terminator suit, ready to let some sentinels know why he is known as the world's greatest assassin.
The armoured suit wraps his body into a protective shell, with the mask covering his face showing a single eye through a lense, but that's hardly the most peculiar detail about him, since his chest is crisscrossed by belts and bandoliers, holding knives of all shapes and sizes. His waist has some belts around it as well, carrying more knives, as well as holsters, and pouches undoubtfully full of gadgets of all sorts. If that wasn't enough, the handle of a broadsword peeks from behind his right shoulder, while the butt of an assault rifle is seen on his left, the energy lance is instead sheathed at the small of his back and, right now, the walking armoury that is Deathstroke, is quietly standing on a rooftop, standing in the shadows of a higher building, his eye tracking the movements of the sentinel.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy sees a kid in the street, and a Sentinel approaching, so he takes quick action. Running over, grabbing the kid in one arm, and running him to the community center just takes a moment, but it's enough to get the attention of the Sentinel. "Halt and surrender," it orders. Hank however has no intention of doing either. He jumps back into the street, getting away from the center, and yells out "Seize this honkus."

Deathstroke has posed:
Deathstroke had in mind to study and plan his action carefully, plans that go literally to hell as the sentinel and someone decide to come to unfriendly terms on the street. The rifles comes out from his holster with a fluid motion, Deathstroke sprints to the edge of the building and lets himself fall, swinging his right arm at the last moment to grab on the edge of the building to be able to slow his fall enough to roll on his feet. Then he braces the rifle, points it at the sentinel, chambers a bullet and pulls the trigger. With the sound of a sewing machine at work, three bullets leave the rifle's muzzle, flying towards the sentinel to hit and explode on impact. That's what explosive bullets are for, after all! Probably not a killing blow, but enough to get some attention.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy is about to start moving to avoid getting shot, when... oops, the Sentinel gets shot. Three thwacks into its shoulder and torso, each one making a small shake of its body. At that, the sentinel turns around, looking for where the shots came from. "Halt and surrender," it repeats, raising its own arm and firing a quick plasma shot toward Deathstroke.

Deathstroke has posed:
a still target is a dead target, and that's why as soon as Deathstroke had pulled the trigger, he stood up and sprinted sideways, throwing himself to the ground in a sideways roll to avoid the sentinel's shot and returning it with another three bullets from his rifle, these ones coming from a different angle. He doesn't stop exactly to see if the sentinel will shoot again at him, sprinting forward under what could be another shot to let loose a volley of another three bullets at the sentinel's body. Meanwile, his senses, eyesight first, take stock of his surroundings, his mind already starting to formulate battleplans and strategies.
"those words don't figure in my dictionary." Deathstroke's voice announces coldly, resonating with a metallic undertone given by the speaker set in his helmet.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy uses the fact that Deathstroke is distracting the Sentinel to make an attack on his own. Waitng for the incoming shots to cease, Hank interrupts a SECOND outgoing plasma shot by jumping into the air, digging his claws into the already-torn surface of the sentinel, while using his weight to try to bring it to the ground. Disrupted by six shots now, the sentinel is a little slow, and takes thie hit, but not before flinging Hank right back off of him, cartoonishly in the air to land on the sidewalk. Now the sentinel turns his back on Deathstroke, looking back to Hank.

Deathstroke has posed:
Deathstroke can't shoot for now, if not for a lack of a good angle, surely because there's someone clinging to the sentinel and, even if in regular circumstances Deathstroke would be confident his shots won't hit the wrong target, explosive bullets hardly care for precision. So he waits, and when the sentinel's back is turned on him, that's when Deathstroke slides on the floor, rolls forward, half stands with his right knee on the floor, aims his rifle and flips it into full automatic mode. Then pulls and holds the trigger, sending at least ten explosive bullets deadright in the sentinel's body.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy looks up, and can't help but wince, even if he has no love for the Sentinels. The rapid fire of explosive bullets into an armor already weakened and penetrated, causes the sentinel effectively to explode. A big hole on its torso, systems disrupted, it falls to the ground. But... it's not entirely disabled, so after a few seconds, an arm moves, and fires another poorly aimed plasma shot at Deathstroke. Really just going into the air...

Deathstroke has posed:
Deathstroke ducks, and twists his body so to reholster the rifle on his back, efficently avoiding the shot and emptying his hands in the same motion. Then stands, and with quick steps approaches the sentinel, careful but intent on making sure the, thing, is effectively out of commission. His eye scans at first the sentinel, then Henry, and a tight nod is offered in the man's direction "one down..." he drily comments.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy gets up, dusting off his suit jacket, and starts walking over. Wincing again at the kill shot, he shakes his head. "Nice shooting. Well timed arrival there, thanks."

Deathstroke has posed:
Deathstroke offers another tight nod, his right boot coming down on the sentinel's arm "welcome. It is always a pleasure to blow up some sentinels" he says, pushing down with his foot until earing the crunching sound of the arm breaking, then moving a step backwards. "and now, unless there's others to send to whatever hell they come from, I have to go, before one of your policemen decides to suicide..."

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy can't help but chuckle at that. "As long as you and I have that common threat to deal with, I have nothing to say about that particular topic," he admits, giving the man an approving nod before turning away. "I didn't see you here."

Deathstroke has posed:
Deathstroke shrugs, turning and starting to walk towards the nearby building "I don't care if you saw me here, as long as you don't see where I am going." he offers as a last comment, then bends his legs and jumps upwards, propelling himself towards a window with all his enhanced strenght, and there hanging to pull himself upwards, his boots hitting the side of the building for another leap that brings him upwards still, and in this fashion he continues till he disappears on the rooftop, then across it to another building, and onwards, towards his next target.
