Date of Scene: 11 September 2019
Location: Tamaran (Sector 2828)
Synopsis: Starfire escaped!
Cast of Characters: Tyran'tar, Lobo, Starfire, Grail

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar had recieved updates on lobo's status and when it is clear the main man has arrived with the goods, Tyran'tar just looks a little...Well he wasnt happy but he knew his queen would be ecstatic. He meets Lobo at the landing pad and watches Kory. "So were there any complications?" He asks curiously as he looks around, the sun shining brightly on him.

Lobo has posed:
Outside the beautiful Taran planet, a fair kilometer or two from the building that Tyran had come from, an ugly, filthy, grungy looking ship was landed, that looked like it had flown through an asteroid shower or three, and was no doubt due for a wash and a half. From it, the seven foot Czarnian nightmare made his way, walking with a confident stride even as his Hog hovered behind him a few feet on its 'leash' command. The tall albino man was dressed in a sleeveless black leather trenchcoat, his eyes and markings hidden from the glaring sun by a cool little hat...and over his left shoulder, wrapped in chains and with her hands cuffed behind her back(and with what looked like medical bandaging and regenegel applied to some recent injuries), was the fire-haired outlaw princess, and his captured quarry. The Czarnian looked like he'd just bagged an antlion-beast from Warworld, the grin on his face wide and almost smug.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r is barely moving, not struggling even when being manhandled like a sack of potatoes, wrapped in chains. Eyes closed, shivering violently, making faint whimpering noises, actually crying. Few things can turn Starfire into a shuddering crying mess - being captured again to be taken to her sister is the one thing that can break her. She isn't even looking - seemingly catatonic. This is literally her worst nightmare made real.

Grail has posed:
A distance out from the agreed upon meeting place, a woman in a dark cloak casually watches. She is doing her best to remain out of sight, having arrived sometime earlier. She's not usually all that good at stealth but when you have a device that lets you teleport places, it isn't hard to sneak in. Plus, it really helps that they were meeting in a somewhat open area she could watch from afar. She idly reaches into her cloak and pulls out a strange cylinder. She had seen it on Earth and taken it. Such a neat little device. So small and yet so powerful with all its little buttons and teeny tiny little holes. She notes Lobo's arrival and slowly grins as she watches the force from Tamaran and the bounty hunter get ready to meet. From afar, at least, she can't quite make out Kory's condition.

Tyran'tar has posed:
"I see you have found your quarry. Where was she?" Tyran'tar asks Lobo as the battalion of guards with him go to help retrieve Kory. He keps his hands to his sides and he couldnt detect any lifeforms nearby. He was hoping the word he leaked out to the resistance made it to them so they can provide the distraction. "I trust her friends didnt trouble you, Lobo?" He asks curiously.

Lobo has posed:
Early on in Lobo's bounty hunting career, 'the trademark doublecross' was a common, almost expected event, usually done at the tail end of a job, by some rich blowhard who thought they could have their cake and eat it too. It took a few years and a few hundred corpses for employers to get the message that when Lobo was on the job, you paid what you were owed if you valued your life...or your various other things that could be taken from you.

But Lobo still expected it from time to time, and as the plethora of guards surrounded him and took the princess off his hands, he looked around at the armed 'soldiers' with a gleam in his blood-red eyes, but that grin never left his face. If they did try something, it would be the best part of his day.

While not looking at him, Lobo spoke up to Tyran, answering the orange-man's questions.

"Yeah, she weren't no trouble, kid was drunk as hell. Some kid usin' some weird earth technology tricks tried ta give me the business, smashed his face inta a tree. That's where she was hidin' out, by the way, some mudball out in the middle of nowhere. The place sucked, their music sucked, didn't even have no space-roads or nuthin'. Buncha hillbillies."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r was still whimpering, shaking like a leaf, pale. She doesn't seem that injured other than two bandages on her back - but she looks absolutely terrified. She doesn't want to know what's going on - is trying to ignore it all. She is barely aware that she was handed off to someone whom she thought was a friend.

Grail has posed:
As the guards moved in to take Kory was her moment. She grinned a little as she was actually quite looking forward to this. She touched something on her wrist and then pointed out to her right. A moment later, two nearly simultaneous explosive sounds went off as space itself was rent asunder. One to her right on the side opposite of the group taking Kory.
The boomtube opens up facing toward them, the thing whipping up a soft wind enough to ruffle clothes and hair alike. A moment later, a cylinder comes rolling out of it. The thing looking slightly like a grenade before it starts to make noise. Music was playing. Strange music likely unfamiliar to everyone there except maybe Kory. Then ten seconds after the music starts (Ready to Die by Andrew WK), Grail appears in a burst of speed right beside Lobo and Tyran'tar, her hood blowing back by the wind, a grin on her lips, "Sup, Ugly. Miss me?"
She then throws a sucker punch from hell right at Lobo's face before her eyes send out a pair of Omega Beams. They arc around her, skidding along the ground at the feat of the Tamaran Soldiers, not attempting to kill but intimidate. She then uses her speed to try to grab Kory and then head right for the open Boomtube.

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar knew exactly were to find her. Infact he deliberately fed lobo information to take him elsewhere and it wasnt enough. As the solders go to pick up the woman, the boom tube gets a reaction. "Boom tube! FIRE!" He calls out as the soldiers begin firing at the grenade music thing and grail as she comes forth. Tyran'tar leaps for Grail and tries to grab her, the attempt was to punch her in the gut, but in truth it was to slip a datastick into her clothes. He knew he couldnt hurt her, and he probably ended up hurting his hand more then hurting grail but he had to make it look good.

Lobo has posed:
Well, look at this. His day was gonna turn interesting after all. He turned around right into the suckerpunch, the young Amazon's fist crunching Lobo's nose cheek and eyesocket and causing the the man to roll backwards from the sheer strength and force of the hit. But sadly for the cloaked wannabe badass, Lobo was ready this time.

"Haaa, haw haw haw! Now this is like it, ya bastiches!"

Somehow while he was rolling, he somehow had unerring accuracy as he unfurled the hook and chain on his right arm and threw it outward, trying to loop it around the woman's neck, or trying to get the sharp bit in the Amazon's mouth as she was talking. Either way, if this made any contact he'd yank hard with that massive Czarnian strength of his, trying to pull the woman through the air...into a massive uppercut aimed for her chin. If any of this went Lobo's way, Grail had better hope that she had some sort of aerial acrobatics, 'cause she was going for a little trip!

Starfire has posed:
The sound of a Boom Tube. That caught her attention as she opens her eyes, seeing... pandemonium. Lobo and... Grail?!?!!? Are fighting, and she's in the arms of Tyran'tar. She is connecting the dots quickly though probably wrong, as her first instinct is to get free as she starts to glow emerald. Not just her eyes - or her hands. Her entire body is starting to glow as she's getting hotter and hotter. She is still terrified, mixed with a bit of anger and betrayal as she's apparently preparing to do something drastic.

Grail has posed:
Well, all those best laid plans. She was really making things happen when Tyran'tar lept on her. She figured he had some kind of plan...or he just groped her. She's unclear and attempts to throw him off only to feel something hit her neck and then wrap. She lets out a gasp and then growls, "Frick!" And then she is yanked backwards.
She turns in the air and lets out a growl as she spots Lobo and squints her eyes as she sees that grin, "Bastard..." And she is hit upward with a massive hand. She is going flying upward but she isn't so easy to get rid of. She whips her hand down and attempts to grab the same chain that pulled her toward him as she flies upward to anchor herself and possibly throw Lobo off.

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar did have a plan. He was thrown back at Kory and he looks to her. He begins to grab at starfire and get her into the boom tube which was left open. The ring glows green on his finger and tries to push Koriand'r through the boom tube, making it look like he was grabbing at her but she just slipped away.

Lobo has posed:
Lobo tossed his hat aside, so that he could look up and watch the pale-skinned woman soar through the Tamaranean sky, whistling at the sight of it in a way that suggested he was really impressed with himself. After all, he'd always been his own biggest fan. Off-handedly, he spoke over to Tyran again without looking at him.

"So, soon as you forward the credits ta my balance, I can get offa this landfill an' go somewhere worthwhile, like that place with tha robot hookers, or somewhere else. In fact, ya got twenty seconds before I start slaughte-AAARRRRR!"

He was interrupted from his sales pitch slash threat by Grail taking the fight into her own hands, and the Czarnian was pulled up into the air at a strength and speed that caused his cheeks to wobble and pull back at the sheer force...but that grin never left his face. In fact as he was flying up toward the falling(?) Grail, his left hand reached into his trenchcoat and pulled out that Rippergun of his, that old mix between an industrial nailgun and an Uzi. He was holding down the trigger, causing nail-shaped bullets to fly up and launch at the woman's torso and face with a speed and velocity that would be absolutely terrifying to any normal, regular spacer. Of course this was a disciple of Darkseid so it'd be lucky if it tickled. But it was the thought that counted.

"Ha, YEAH, NOW THIS IS A FRAGGIN' FIGHT!"

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r is barely aware of what's going on, and before she can get to the Boom Tube, she screams in feral rage and... KABOOM! A huge explosion of emerald light erupts from her, like a small sun going nova right there. It'd vaporize the chains around her, probably leave a sizable crater, and definitely impact Lobo, Grail, and Tyran'tar. She then lies there in the crater of her own making, as she laughs softly. She seems a bit manic.

Grail has posed:
As she turns around in the air, momentum reversing, she grins as she looks down to see Lobo flying up at her, "Perfect!" She laughs a little with a smile. She is kinda liking this, too. Fighting is something she has always enjoyed. She flies down toward him and as he fires those things at her, a few hit and she winces from annoyance. Then her eyes glow.
Two beams fly out, flicking through the air to intercept incoming shrapnel. The beams cut through it, turning and twisting in the air to go right for Lobo...right when an explosion goes off.
The Omega Beams are cut off and she goes flying off from the explosion, laughing the whole way as she flies off, "What the hell?!" She laughs out.

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar goes flying from the nova and crashes into the building nearby. Thankfully he absorbed some of the radition but it was still powerful enough to send him through stone walls like he was nothing. Infact he probably would be in serious condition if it werent thanks to his ring's forcefield which he keeps armed at all times incase Kormand'r found out he was secretly helping her sister. He pulls himself out of the cratered wall and he groans. He checks himself over and begins to fly back out to the others. "Lobo, you have been paid already. If you can stop getting your ass kicked, you can leave and tell the robotic hookers on Knowhere I said hi." He says into the comm which he knew lobo carried.

Lobo has posed:
Grail was falling towards Lobo, and Lobo was flying up towards Grail. He saw the beams and instead of fear, on his face was a snarl and a readiness. Of course, then the entire world went kablooey and the Main Man was sent hurtling upward, cartwheeling through the sky as he became smaller, and smaller, and smaller up in the distance, as his Hog went into automatic Rescue Mode and blasted off with a fiery tail through the clear crisp sky.

Lobo survived the blast just fight, of course he didn't have a lower torso at the minute, and his trenchcoat was half-singed into a half-jacket, and the ship he'd left down on the planet surface was now a pile of junk, and of course when he finally regrew a pelvis and legs he'd be pantsless while riding through space, but all in all, things could have gone worse. And in his eyes? This all was worth it.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r just likes in the crater, sitting up with some effort. She just blinks, wondering what's going on. She feels a lot better now, not bound up anymore, and not having to deal with Lobo's... presence. (Yeah, he reeks.) She is on Tamaran. This can't be good. She remembered seeing Tyran'tar. He sold her out apparently. She just flops back down, too tired to do anything, glad the sun is shining on her.

Grail has posed:
Grail is far more durable than most. So, while she does go flying through a wall, she pushes her way out through the wall and she takes a breath. She shakes her head and rushes back to the crater, looking around. She spots Kory in the crater and goes to her, carefully picking her up and shaking her head, "I don't know how you did that...but it was pretty cool." She chuckles and looks in the direction of where her cylinder was, "Sadly the cylinder of music is destroyed." She sighs, "I liked it." She then points her hand and another boom tube opens up, "Come on, lets go." And, unless stopped, she walks through the boomtube.

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar limps his way over to Koriand'r and he tries to help her up. His will was drained from the nova, he hit his head on something which didnt feel pleasant and he had blood trickling down from his hair. He makes his way over to Grail and Koriand'r "The data stick I gave you should give you Kormand'r military plans for the sector. I am sorry about lobo." He says as he tries to help Koriand'r up.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shrinks away from Tyran'tar. She hisses a word to Tyran'tar - the Tamarnaean word for 'traitor' - as she clings to Grail. She doesn't understand what happened here - just assumes that Tyran'tar sold her out. She looks pale. "Just need... rest and sunlight." Her eyes slowly drift closed as she is falling asleep.

Grail has posed:
"I got it." She states to Tyran'tar and shakes her head as she carries Kory, "Just..." Grail shakes her head and looks at Tyran'tar before she looks forward, "Honestly, just grow a pair." And she starts to the tube and starts her way back to Earth.
