Cast of Characters: Doctor Octopus, Fiona Glenanne

Doctor Octopus has posed:
It's obvious /something/ happened over at the Empire Casino. Publicly seen fighting off some sort of animal forms from the side of the building, Doctor Octopus hasn't really been known outside a select few before now. This being the first time he's been spotted outside the Octoboys turf, and now with the Foot clan opposing him, Doctor Octopus seems to have made a lot of enemies, very quickly.

Now, days later, Fiona has received a message from 'Doctor Octopus' requesting a meeting of his own in a warehouse along the docks, at midnight. When Fiona approaches, there are obvious lookouts along the rooftop, and the lights are on inside.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
FIona's not stupid. She's going in armed and with a chip on her shoulder. If she plays this right she can report back to the Birds....and make moneey. Shaking her head Fi's sittting in acar, watching the warehouse before she makes her move. She's regretting not telling people about this, really. But.....her idea is to just meet up. She doesn't /really/ have to commit to anything. Well, anything yet at all. Just a meeting. No pressure. She's casually making her way to the warehouse, foot's better after kicking a demon where it hurt and fracturing it, thanks.

She's wearing her usual clothing, since it's comfortable, just with a gun hidden under a jacket that she can get to easily if needed. That's the sole change she's made.

Doctor Octopus has posed:
The main doors are unlocked, if closed, as Fiona walks in. Inside are two Octoboys, their green and yellow gang colors easily seen, along with the Octopus picture on the front. They visibly have pistols in holsters at their sides... but there's no sign of Doctor Octopus himself yet.

"Welcome. I've heard good things about you when I was holding my previous base down." The voice comes from above, in the dark. Looking up, Fiona can see a slight metallic gleaming from the lights as they reflect from his metallic arms. Without night vision it's hard to tell where the man himself is... but he's nowhere near any catwalks that Fiona can see. "So, Ms. Glenanne. Are you interested in selling weapons to someone who has told the Foot clan he's not interested in being a lackey?"

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona raises an eyebrow. "And what did you hear about me?" she asks with a certain amused tone to her voice. She figured she'd left all that behind. How wrong. not that she's ever really eft her past behind, but she does cant her head a tiny, tiny bit. There's an amused smile as she's wondering exactly what the gossip about her is on the street, so to speak. She's, well, curious. And curiosity is a dangerous thing. She steps forward, palms raised to show she's unarmed...at least in her hands.

Doctor Octopus has posed:
"Nothing that I need to repeat. I'm sure you've had your past discussed constantly." The voice replies. "Should I take that as a deflection of my question?"

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi shakes her head and smiles, "So in answer to your 'will I sell' question" she says doing the air quote thing with a hand, she's quiet, considering it. "What's in it for me? I mean, here's my offer. I'll help you, but not directly. You know, I'll hint at you who to go to, and I'll put in a good word with friends about you, but I won't sell directly to you. But I can and will tell you where to get what you want" Fiona says, "Whether those people sell? Whole other matter but you know...money makes the world go around. I'm not meant to officially, blatantly sell anyone guns, but I can get around that." she says. Two offers.

Doctor Octopus has posed:
"If I wanted references, I would have talked to someone at The Continental." The voice replies. Then, the sound of metal on metal can be heard as there's slow movement around the ceiling. Then, a steel grey tentacle shoots out of the darkness into a pillar, the pincers at the end of it impaling into the pillar itself. Then another pillar gets the same treatment. Moments later, and Fiona will see a man coming out of the darkness, the tentacles coming out of his back as yet another tentacle moves down and braces against the floor, then another, like a pair of stilts.

The man himself is wearing his usual brown overcoat and brown jumpsuit, and four metallic tentacles are rooted out of his back as they carry him down out of the darkness of the ceiling, to just a few feet off the floor. There, he stays, suspended by them. "Not in the arms business anymore?" The man asks, "then why did you meet with Doctor Octopus?" Fiona can see herself reflected in the safety glasses wrapped around Otto's head.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona laughs gently. "I am. Just...not officially" she says, watching him. "So at the risk of offending you, would you rather I stick to guns for your hands, or guns for each tentacle?" she adds with a genuine look. She's seriously considering just unloading a lot of her gear onto this guy and taking th emoney. It'll get back to the Birds. Plus Fi's keeping her tinkered things for the Birds anyhow. That's howw she's doing things. She's got a name, that's a start. And he wants guns. That's a good idea.

"So, let's say I sell you guns" Fi says, changing tack. "You want anything in particular?" she asks and watches him be suspended there, "I mean, I can most likely get you general stuff, things that you wouldn't get in too much trouble for havingg. It's the out there things that draw people's attention" she says blandly, "I prefer to deal in what I can move"

Doctor Octopus has posed:
"I'm not trying to create a special forces squad with guns that blend in," Doctor Octopus informs her, "I'm looking for stuff I can use in a fight." A tentacle pulls back out of one of the pillars, goes for a holstered pistol on one of his Octoboys, pulls out of of the holster, and brings it right up to Fiona's eyes, feet away. It's a Glock of some sort.

"This is not a gun I can use to take back New York from the Foot clan," Otto helpfully informs her, "This is a gun for self-defense of our territory, when we had it." The gun is pulled back and replaced in the holster of the Octoboy. "We need upgrades."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi wrinkles her nose. "The Foot? Look, they came to me, wanted my help taking out a rival. For your sake I said I'd work on it slowly. So you want to what, get me to sell you weapons to take out the Foot?" Fiona asks quirking an eyebrow. "Go on, what's in it for me if I just sell you guns that get the job done? Why should I sell you anything?" she asks, and holds up a hand. "Not that I'm going to walk out of here and not sell you anything, but coonvince me. Let's say I got a cache of military grade weapons, automatic, heavy. What exactly do you want from weapons, you said you don't want things that blend in"

Doctor Octopus has posed:
There's a long moment of silence after Fiona is finished talking. "If you need something other than money, we have nothing to talk about." Doctor Octopus states, before he looks to the Octoboys, bringing one hand up and twirling one finger in the air once. The two Octoboys nod as they start to walk to the entrance.

Doctor Octopus himself starts to walk on all four tentacles over to the entrance himself.

"I'll find another dealer without as many hoops to go through." Doctor Octopus notes.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi shakes her head watching them with a quiet sigh. "I put hoops in to protect myself. I said I'm not meant to officially deal weapons" Fi says. With that....she's also setting up to leave as well, she's quiet, not too bothered but she's got many, many masters to please, much as it frustrates the ever loving hell out of Fiona.

Doctor Octopus has posed:
Doctor Octopus stops just before the entrance, and looks back to Fiona. "'Officially' sell weapons. What does that even mean? You're talking like someone within a hierarchy. The Foot clan will probably get to them eventually then... and I have no interest in compromised goods."

The Octoboys walk out of the warehouse. Otto himself visibly 'crouches' to the ground, before his tentacles leap him into the night air, out of sight upwards. He's gone.
