Cast of Characters: Samuel Morgan, Danger

Samuel Morgan has posed:
How to become a real boy 101. That's not the official name of the effort to turn Sam from a Special Student into a fully functional member of society, but it might as well have been. There are gaps in his experiences that would be laughable if they weren't worrying and perhaps even a bit tragic. What kid had never heard of a Double Bomber burger? So today is the day that he starts to go from Sam the living weapon to Sam the slightly odd teenager. Step one? Go out, get a burger, eat, come back. So here he is, standing in the queue, waiting to put in his order, right hand nervously around the few crumpled bills that constitute his allowance for this outing.

And near the back of the burger place, by the door, one of the Xavier School staff is watching the boy like a hawk. Setting the place on fire would be an instant fail condition for this particular test...

Danger has posed:
Under normal circumstances, she'd likely not have stopped at some food place but strangely, she's been getting odd readings from this part of the world. She kept seeing it crop up like some kind of anomaly in this area when she was exploring the internet. It was something she simply could not be understood. She had to walk around and figure it out. It was an adventure! She then spotted something she recognized at this place and walked in. She looked around with a small smile as she looked around the room.

Currently, she had black hair, cropped to her shoulders, wearing a simple loose shirt that hangs off one shoulder that declares her love for elves. She wears a pair of tight jeans and sneakers to finish off the human look. Of course, Smauel might notice something inhuman just walked in.

Samuel Morgan has posed:
It's practically impossible to ignore. As if his head is on a swivel, Sam tracks Danger the moment she comes through the door, quite unaware that the line has moved until he's suddenly in front, and the wait staff just look down at him, see him staring at the young woman that just walked in. "You ordering or just ogling?"

"Oh, ehm sorry, I... ordering." Yup, way to go Sam, took your eyes off the objective like a rookie. In a flood, the order comes back to him, and he rattles it off. One Double Bomber burger, fries, milkshake, onion rings. After which he thrusts the money at the counter and leaves it there, leaving the staff behind the counter to take it, bill by bill, with a raised eyebrow, and the staff by the door to almost groan in sympathy. Some work is clearly still required.

Mercifully the food arrives quickly, and just as mercifully Sam isn't wearing his Xavier hoodie, or this whole thing would have been an unmitigated disaster. Still might be, because he's taking his tray straight over to Danger.

Danger has posed:
Her eyes scan the restaurant, looking at spectrums that no normal person could possibly see. She can see every single cellphone, every radio signal, every color, and even some things that normally take more work. She just scans from left to right till she zeroes in on Sam. SHe tilts her head from left and then to right trying to figure him out. He's quite the strange one when it comes to how all those signals seem to work around him. She then notices he is walking her way and she simply takes a step to the side and stands next to a table as she watches him.

Samuel Morgan has posed:
With a grace that is quite at odds with how he just behaved himself at the counter, Sam saunters up to that table and puts down the tray, looking at Danger with a disarming smile. "Mind if I sit here?". No chance for a response, he's already starting to sit down.

Although he can't see the same way Danger can, he can still feel most of that same spectrum she's observing. Taking a calculated risk, he motions to the seat opposite. "Want to join me?" Luckily the table is in the far corner, and they're unlikely to be overheard "Unless you're here to kill me, in which case I have to warn you that I'm not here by myself."

Danger has posed:
A smile and Danger simply sits down, letting him speak before considering, "Should I be here to kill you?" She asks and tilts her head before looking around the room again before considering, "I also doubt that there is anyone here with the capacity to stop me from doing so." She looks back at him casually, "Wait, did you bring someone from the Justice League?" She asks and hten considers, "I have had my head punched off by SUperman before." She nods, "Is Superman here?" She looks around again, "I do not see him."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Sam has the good sense not to look at his chaperone, who is suddenly very interested in the conversation, but staying where he is. As long as no chairs are flying, he'll probably still get a 'needs improvement'. "I was warned that someone like you might be trying to do me harm if I came out here. You stand out a bit to me. And I'm guessing I stand out to you too?" At least, if he's going to be killed by a Sentinel, he'll do it casually eating a burger.

"You look very alive for someone who had their head punched off by Superman."

Danger has posed:
A smile and she shakes her head, "I rebuilt my head." She nods again, "It's just for show." She nods again as she points at it, "I don't technically need it but everyone has one so I wished to have one, too." She nods again, "You are not like me." She points at him, "You appear to be human. Heart, brain, stomach, intestines, lungs, and all." She nods her head as she chuckles and nods her head, "You are, however, seeming to react to various forms of communications. Including my own."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Samuel puts that stomach to good use, eating his burger while Danger talks. It's a remarkably good burger, but one he'll have to work off with another mile on tomorrow's morning run. "I can feel you, like I can feel every phone, every tablet, every laptop, every bit of technology in here... and some on the street outside. And I think it's too much of a coincidence that you happen to walk in just now. You're clearly not friendly with the Justice League, but on the other hand my head is still attached to my body, so I'll take that as a sign we might actually have a meaningful conversation."

Danger has posed:
A blink, "What?" She then shakes her head, "I act as tech support and ally to the Justice League." She smiles and nods her head, "Superman was the evil one at the time." She then considers, "That is a story. A long one. INvolving a lot of complicated matters." She then smiles, "I am Danger. Or Dary or Daro." She considers, "Depending on who you ask. Memmber of the Titans and ally to the Justice League." She offers a hand, "It is pleasant to meet you."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Putting down the burger and first cleaning his hands on a napkin, Sam shakes the offered hand across the table. "Samuel Morgan." Yup, that's it. No team, no explanations, just good ol' Sam. "Pleasure to meet you too, Daro."

"I heard of the Titans." He has, too. Still remembers the standing orders on how to respond if encountered on a mission. On the whole, he's happy it never happened.

Danger has posed:
She shakes his hand lightly before she pulls her hand back and hmms, "Strange, it is as if you were trying to connect to me." She shakes her head, "Which I cannot allow. As a note." She smiles, "I apologize." She then shrugs, "It is not something I approve of with those I do not know." She then looks around the room, "So, why?" She asks and looks back at him, "Why do you have that ability. It seems not natural."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"It isn't. And my apologies, I didn't intend to. It... sort of happens." Yup, even Sam isn't entirely sure how things happen, just that they do. "Wish I could tell you more about it, but that's it I'm afraid. And I wish that guy three tables over would stop sending all those texts, it's giving me a headache."

Danger has posed:
A hmm and she considers, "So, it is not voluntary?" She asks and then nods her head, "I see." She then considers, "Have you tried a signal inhibitor?" She asks and tilts her head as she looks over him and then looks around, "I am sure there must be a way to attempt to stop signals from coming in around you."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Samuel nods. "Faraday cage. Or just walking away far enough, that works too." He has tried both, with fairly consistent results. "But it's like having your arm go numb. Something feels like it's missing." He won't even mention what happened when they ran the trial on EMPs.

Danger has posed:
A nod and then she considers, "I cannot fully help there other than perhaps finding some form of a feedback loop." She then shrugs again and stands up as she considers him, "It was nice to meet you, Samuel and I will wish to speak to you further." She nods her head, "However, I cannot stay out all day. I have much I need to do." She then considers, "Do you wish to speak again? If so, I will seek you out again."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"I wouldn't mind talking to you again, and I'm sure you can find me easily enough. Be safe, Daro." And like a gentleman, Sam will stand and escort Danger to the door... where he also picks up his 'chaperone' and walks straight past him, going the wrong way, intentionally walking /away/ from Greymalkin Lane. That's the second time now that he's been spotted in Salem...
