Synopsis:	Kitty brings home a surprise for Peter, in the form of a golden lab puppy named Jester

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete has had the rare kind of night where he's actually working on some school work. Grading test papers at the kitchen table with a half eaten sandwich and glass of milk nearby, he's wearing his typical clothing fare: shorts, tshirt, backwards METS cap, but he's barefoot except for a pair of Pichachu wool socks. There's soft music playing from the jury rigged comp.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty had spent the night before at the school. There were things that needed doing, including a surprise celebration of Scott's birthday... after it was past. The only way to put it over on him. Camping, Kitty said it would be. Out by the lake, just a few of the X-men.

She called the next day, saying she'd be home late, and would text when she started on her way. The text had come in, and an appropriate amount of time later for driving the 50+ miles from Salem Center to the City, there is the sound of a key in the lock.

Kitty sticks her head in the opened door. "Peter, you up?" she asks, about the time she spots him sitting there at the desk. "Hey. Are you up for a little surprise?" she asks.

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete had spent the time working on his webshooters and adding a new software upgrade to his suit. It wasnt high sofisticated, but it did require maintenance... and it was something to occupy his hands when not on swinging patrols. His phone sat nearby and he absently reached for it when Kitty texts to send her a series of goofy gifs when she indicated she was on her way back. Particularly one of Jonah Hill 'wiggling excitedly'.

When he hears the keys, he glances up, shuffling through his tests to get them stacked up near his shoulder bag, "Hey babe... uh... yeah.. you didnt bring scott back here did you? I love the guy and all, but that's just too much spooning.."

Kitty lets out a laugh. "No, not Scott. Though you might end up cuddling, yes," Kitty says. She swings the door the rest of the way open and steps in, revealing that in her arms she's holding a golden lab puppy. Kitty sets the dog down on the floor once she's inside and the door shut. The adorable little pup sniffs here and there, before spotting the human in the room. He rushes over, sniffing at Peter's foot and giving a little yip for attention as he paws at him.

Kitty leans back against the door, eyes only on the puppy for a moment, watching Peter's reaction instead to see what his truest thoughts are on the matter before it gets discussed.

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete sees the Lab and breaks out in a hugr grin, dropping down from the chair to scoop the puppy up when it comes rushing over! "Oh my lord!" Assaulted with face licks and giggling like an idiot, Pete is instantly in love, "where did you get him? Her? Am I misgendering you bebe?" the last question is in 'baby voice' while getting his cheeks lapped at, laughing the whole time.

Kitty Pryde smiles as she sees Peter's reaction. She sets down the dog's leash on a table and moves over to join the two of them. "This is Jester," she says. "Someone gave him to Rogue. And, well, she already had a dog, Aces. She found a family in Salem Center to take him. She'd had him at the Avenger's Mansion and after attacks there she realized it wasn't a safe place for a dog. And, well, the school has had some attacks over time as well, so no better," Kitty says.

"So anyway, she's really not looking to have another dog. The same problem. And... I told her I'd see if you were a dog person or not. But if you'd like... she'd be fine with us taking him in," Kitty says. She reaches over one hand to pet Jester, scritching his neck. The other one reaches over to do much the same with Peter.

Spider-Man has posed:
"I've never had a dog before, but I always wanted one." Pete assures Kitty with a big grin, tilting his head around and away, laughing as Jester tries to lick his face. "So, yes, absolutely he can stay." Finally, Pete sets the lab down with a huge grin and leans towards Kitty, at first to kiss her softly, but then to duplicate the face licking to which Prter had just be subjected! Evil boyfriend is evil! "We're starting a little family... I love it."

Kitty grins and kisses Peter back, and then laughs as he begins face licking her. "Stop! You need to serve as a good example now!" she protests, laughing still. "I haven't had a dog either. I did have a hamster. Named Peter," she tells him. "He wasn't as good at fetching though," she says.

Kitty turns her attention on Jester, leaning down to rub her face against the cute little puppy's. "Ok, so one other thing you should know. Mystique was the one who gave Rogue the puppy. He's all checked out, no... worrisome things that we can tell. I kind of hate to say it, but, figured, you know. You should know," she says.

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete stops licking at Kitty's face with a huge grin, dropping down to pet Jester behind the ears, "Did she... Huh. Well, I guess everyone has that one thing... even Mystiques.." Glancing up at Kitty, he leans in to nuzzle the lab, plopping down on the floor so the puppy can try and crawl in his lap. "If he turns into a blue skinned psychopath while we're sleeping tho..." he starts to joke, but that could actually happen, given how strange their lives are...

"You named your hampster Peter?" Grinning with one eye squinting up at her.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty takes out her phone and snaps some pictures of Peter and Jester together. Peter getting his face licked, and the puppy curling up in his lap. She sends them off to Rogue with the caption, "I think Jester has a new home then if you're good with it?"

Kitty puts her phone away. "Yes, I did," says, laughing. "And no it wasn't after you. Or, other Peters that you know of," she says. She clears her throat. "It was... ah... Pete Sampras."

Spider-Man has posed:
"Uh huh..." Peter says with a mischievous glint, turning to nuzzle Jester, "She sahs it wasnt me, but we both know, don't we buddy?" Flapping the labs ears with both hands, "She was projecting her adoration for someone she didn't know and hadn't met into the cosmos." Jester doesnt have the first clue what Pete is saying, but he yelps happily at the attention! "See?" Looking up at Kitty, "He agrees. Totally named a hampster after me."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde's phone chimes and she pulls it out. "Absolutely, looks like a perfect match to me," Kitty reads the message from Rogue aloud. She grins and sends something back then sets the phone aside as she moves to sit on the floor with her two men. Lockheed is back at the school for now. Her three men, usually it will be.

Kitty grins and finds part of Peter that she can rest against while letting Jester have his lap. "He is adorable," she says with a smile. "We're going to have to train him. Teach him to sit and roll over and everything. And, we should probably teach him how to hide under a bed or something like that. I mean... our lives are strange, after all. But hopefully here, he'll be safer than he would at the school or Narnia," she says.

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete leans back a little against kitty when she finds a place beside him, grinning as he turns to kiss her softly... Which is an excuse, as far as Jester is concerned anyways, to lick both of their faces! "Oh come on!" He's laughing though, pulling both Kitty and the puppy down for snuggles... at least until the puppy squirms out and leaves pete to cuddle Kitty... "We will. Teach him I mean. He'll be safe here... I mean, I dont want to tell tales out of school... but Im spider man... and my girlfriend? yeah, she's Shadowcat... so... yah know, we're kind of a big deal."

Kitty Pryde happily settles into Pete's arms, snuggling back against him. When Jester moves over to her, Kitty scoops him up to nestle in against her chest, sharing the puppy with Peter and enabling the face licking. "I so love you," she whispers to Peter as she looks over at him, reaching up a hand to softly rest her fingers along his cheek.

She smiles warmly and then rests her head against Peter's shoulder. "Mentioned to the gang about moving in with you. They were asking how serious it was then. Told them enough to move in with you, and, that we're just taking it a day at a time anyway," she says.

Spider-Man has posed:
Pete shifts around to hook his ankles on the corner of the table, resting his head on Kitty's abdomen while Jester is getting his cuddles in. He cranes backwards a little and grins at Kitty, "I love you too. Kits." The expression stays when she explains the reaction and explaination to their relation situation, which was a really fun sentence, "Im glad theyre cool with it, though." Arms up to drape over a Jester back, taking rapid tail swishes to the elbow. "Man, Im happy..."
