Synopsis: Zorro and Rave meet while persuing car thieves
Cast of Characters: Zorro, Rave

Zorro has posed:
Zorro scowled as he looked down from his vantage point on top of the Northman's Deli in Midtown. He had been tracking down a well-known racket owned by the "Free Riders", a gang of street racers. For weeks they have been boosting high-performence cars in the more wealtheir parts of the city and doing God knows what to them. Zorro's attention was grabbed after one of the victims was beaten within a inch of his life by two members of the gang. He had finally managed to track down the racket to a seemingly abandoned warehouse in Midtown, all he needed was conformation that this was were the Free Riders was hanging out. Suddenly, he heard the familar sound of Rockabilly music as a hot-rod carrying four leather-jacket wearing men roared down the street and drove into the entrance of the warehouse.

A small grin formed on Zorro's face; he definatley found the place. Zorro pulls out his bullwhip and wraps it on a nearby light pole. He then swings from it, his cape flowing in the wind as he does, and lands inside the warehouse courtyard. He then starts to sneak in, hoping that no one could see him in the darkness of the night.

Rave has posed:
Some people used silence, stealth and intrigue to unravel the antics of criminals. Masterful tracking, political maneuvering and striking from the shadows to hit their marks in a master stroke...Rave was not one of those people. Her 'costume' wasn't exactly imposing superhero either, a pair of active-wear pants in deep purple and a grey hoodie worn over her shoulders, she hadn't even been out clubbing when she pick up this one and her long and practically glowing blue hair was still loose. Not everyone can be ready and perfect at a moment's notice, even a speedster.

Sweeping through the streets in a glowing neon streak that sweeps up the side of the building and then drops down towards the front of the warehouse. Shrugging out of her hoodie and lazily tossing it aside to reveal the tanktop beneath, the speedster actually pauses a moment to check her reflection in the window before she knocks on the door.

Zorro has posed:
Zorro let out a curse to himself as Rave showed up. A super now could make things more complicated, especially if the Free Riders fled upon seeing her coming. To Rave's surprise, the garage door opens, relasing the smell of cigarette smoke, cheap cologne, motor oil, and hair grease wafted out of the garage. The man who opened it is wearing a leather jacket, sunglasses, and has greased, slicked back hair. He is chewing on a toothpick as he sneers at her and says," Yeah, what do ya want?"

Rave has posed:
Ever the adrenaline seeker and 'slight' showoff, Rave simply shrugs her shoulders as she spots the man who opens the door. The advantage of super-speed perception? It's easy to take in details quickly. The downside? It's a longer experience having to endure that god-awful cologne. "Hi," she smiles brightly, stretching her arms over her head and then letting them fall.

"I'm looking for the resident car thieves of the house. Are they in?" she speaks and then tilts her head, as she glances past into the room itself. "Try hards, bad hair...ringing any bells?"

Subtle as a brick through the window.

Zorro has posed:
Zorro facepalms as Rave said this. Great, this super could have just ruined everything. Meanwhile, the Free Rider just scowls at Rave and said to her," We got nothing like that here Lady. This is must a hang-out spot for our "club", now beat it!" In the room, you will see five more men gathered over a hot rod doing work on it. In the back of the room, you will see a now completley dismantled Bentley, the car that was stolen recently. The man at the door then attemptsto slam the door in Rave's face.

Rave has posed:
The door shuts, sealing off the other side from the world...but the speedster had already eased her way in past the Greaser-grease monkey in the near-still slow motion of her perception. It wasn't stealthy, her abilities simply didn't affoard that luxury. Instead the bright flash of light from the starting point of her motion clearly announced that something had happened.

That and the fact that the woman was suddenly deeper in the room, sitting in one of the removed front bucket seats and tying her hair back into a messy high tail, complete with her tie in her mouth until she secures it in place. "Alright, that's just rude."

Zorro has posed:
After Rave starts to make her way into the room, Zorro comes out of his hiding spot and starts to make his way towards the warehouse, trying to find another way into the building. Meanwhile, the man that slammed the door at Rave's face is a mixture of anger and a bit of fear. The rest of the men in the room stand up and look at Rave in surprise. The man who slammed the door in her face rolls up his sleeves and starts to walk up to her while saying," Get out of here before i throw you out!"

Rave has posed:
Anger and fear sounds about right, enough so that Rave had about expected it...and it seems that she was happy to roll with it. Finishing her tying, the girl leans forwards with her hands on her knee. So far, she like everyone else in the room was unaware of Zorro's approach. Instead the young and admittedly 'new' heroine just shrugs her shoulders. "Y'see...you say that, but I'm sitting on literal evidence about your whole...'chop shop thing'. You boys don't really seem the Bentley sort after all. So this is the part where you can give up, call a lawyer, chill out and wait for the cops to show up..."

A pause, she grins and shrugs her shoulders. "Or you can do that other thing."

Zorro has posed:
Before the ganger could answer, a crash is heard and a figure all dressed in black flies into the room from a shattered window. Zorro stands in the middle of the room and says to the gathered group," You Free Riders have preyed on the innocnet for too long. Zorro is here to deleiver a message to Charlie Brinks, leave the fair people of this city alone or deal with the wrath of Zorro!" In the confusion of this entrance, the ganger Rave was talking to picks up a wrench and tries to whack her upside the head with it.

Rave has posed:
"What in th-?" Rave begins as Zorro makes his enterance. Shattering through the window was stylish and all, but it wasn't really a opening move that the 'bluenette' girl favored. After all, she didn't have the super protective and tear resistant costume. Her faintly glowing eyes do indeed move from the vigilantie in black with his warnings to the wrench coming her way and even -she- is left to give a sudden squeek and hurl herself backwards. It's a hit that slams into her shoulder and hurts like hell, but at least she hadn't gotten immediately floored.

A cry of pain and a tumble to her feet, the young woman raises a hand. "Alright," she speaks through clenched teeth. "I'm going with 'wrath'." A bolt of glowing neon blasts through the air and detonates just short of the wrench-man, hitting him in the chest with the resulting concussive blast.

Zorro has posed:
The man is immediatley floored by the blast, obviously unconcious. Zorro and the rest of the men in the room stare at Rave in amazement, and, in the case of the gangsters, in fear. Suddenly, the hot rod starts up, one of the gangers snuck in during Zorro's intro and managed to start it up. The four remaining gangsters pile into the car along with the man driving and drive out of the garage. Zorro lets out a curse in Spanish as he watches the men drive off down the street.

Rave has posed:
Rave herself doesn't immediately seek to give chase, after all even for her there's pain to be found in running with a very much broken arm. Even from here the swelling and bruising was obvious. She moves, reaching towards the nearby lights of the warehouse and exhaling inhaling a breath. The light around the bulb seems to warp, sweeping through the air and seeming to weave itself into neon light that flows into Rave's form.

Her eyes, her hair, both glow a brilliant bright blue that's almost white from intensity alone before it fades and the buising along with it.

Exhaling a breath and blinking a few times to adjust, she's left looking at the spanish swordsman and the unconcious thug before she clears her throat. "So uh...are gonna give chase or...alright, one sec."

The car had a headstart, but a hotrod like that wasn't exact hard to follow, and she doubted it could outpace her.

Zorro has posed:
Zorro looks at the woman in amazement as he sees her basically absorb light. He then shakes his head and nods at Rave's question. He then says to her," Si, we shall give chase at once." Zorro then rushes out of the garage and gets on Tornado, his motorcucle which kept hidden in a alley near the deli he used as a vantage point, and started to drive after the hot rod.

Rave has posed:
A sudden motorcycle? Alright, that was pretty neat, but for the moment she'd have to focus. She could always chat to the man in the hat with the flair for the dramatic and the accent after she'd caught the vehicle.

Speaking of which...

It wouldn't take her long to gain on the thing, but stopping it without causing a massive crash? That took a little more finessing. With a sudden surge, she was perched atop the vehicle, trying to keep her balance as she aimed at the engine itself. It was a shame to break something so pretty but it -was- the best way to bring it to a stop!

Zorro has posed:
The second the engine was struck, the car came to a sudden and violent stop, knocling out four of the five gansters inside the car. The final gangster climbed out of the car, head bleeding, and tries to make a run for it only to have his path blocked by Zorro, who skids the motorcycle right in front of him. Zorro immeidatley leaps off of his motorcycle and tacklers the guy, knocking him out. Zorro then takes out his rapier and marks the guy's t-shirt with a Z. Zorro then turns towards Rave and gives her a polite tip of the hat while saying," Thank you for stopping the car Senorita."

Rave has posed:
The sudden drawing of the sword? It has Rave blinking, tilting her head and wandering if she was about to witness an execution of some sort. Then there's a little inscribing of letters and she's left blinking. "Huh. A signature...that's kinda a neat idea." Maybe she'd have to try something like laser burns...but that would have to be on the ground or the walls and the city might get a bit funny about that.

A little shift where she stands and she tilts her head to the side. "No worries. So uh...what's your deal...'Fox' was it?" Even she took High school Spanish.

Zorro has posed:
Zorro grins lightly at Rave's questions. He then takes a dramatic bow while saying," You already know me as Zorro correct? My purpose in this world is to merly stand up for those who are oppressed and victimized by "modern-day" tyranny. These Free Riders have recently beaten a girl to near death, something i would not tolerate. This is to simply give their leader a message, Zorro is coming for him."

Rave has posed:
Well, someone even flashier then her. Rave almost didn't know how to take that. Still, she nods her head, offering out her hand towards Zorro and giving and then giving a smile. "Rave." she offers before blinking. "Wait...that wasn't the leader?"

Zorro has posed:
Zorro smiles and shakes her hand while saying," A pleasure to meet you Senorita. No, i am afraid that is not their leader." Suddenly, the sound of police sirens are heard in the distance. Zorro immedialtey rushes off, not even saying adios.
