Wolves and Beasts
Date of Scene: 23 September 2019
Location: Dining Hall - Xavier's School
Synopsis: Brief encounters with Rahne, Andrea, and Henry, amid a potential food fight.
Cast of Characters: Beast, Wolfsbane, Rage

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy is at work. Hank, unlike a player, didn't have a week-long vacation to Santa Monica. So when the kids act up, he has the same reaction as ever. "John. Luke. Sit down, eat your food, and report to Mr. Summers at the conclusion of the lunch period." he barks. Food fights must be headed off INSTANTLY before things actually get bad.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane has made a day trip of coming back to Xavier's for some personal business, dressed casually rather than in her usual outfit. Shirt, shorts, even sneakers. However, she's still kept some of those wolfen features up, which is typical of her these days. There's time to grab a bite to eat, which leads her in the direction of the dining hall rather than the kitchen itself. At least, based on the direction she was coming from, she'd have to go through here to reach the kitchen.

Rage has posed:
Heading into the dining room is Andrea, who is wearing a baggy Xavier's sweater that hangs off one shoulder and a pair of black jeggings and sneakers. Her hair is a bit damp and tied up into a ponytail. Plucking the earbuds out and putting them into her pocket, she hums as she gives a wave to a few students who call out her name, even one going so far as to shriek in excitement. As she passes, she spots Henry McCoy and gives him a smile, lifting her hand upwards in salutations.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy walks over to the kids, who seem to be grumbling. "Luke, John. I don't care WHAT Matthew over there did. Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord." Smirking after he turns away, he waves to Andrea and to Rahne, walking to get some food himself.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane raises a brow at the names heard, no doubt catching whatever significance there is in them and Henry's follow-up. No comment, however, aside from a short nod his way. It's the reaction to Andrea showing up that gets her to turn, for their arrivals are not spaced far apart at all. "Ahh..Andrea. I didna know ye were around. Welcome back?"

Rage has posed:
"Hi Rahne! It's nice to see you again." Andrea says with a smile on her face as she gives her a warm welcome. "I just got back into town last week and still setting things up here. Going to graduate this year, so that's exciting. How are you two?" She asks as she gives a long stretch of her body. "I've heard that things have got a bit crazy lately, and I'm sorry to hear that so many people got hurt."

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy nods to Andrea. "It's been rough for a lot of folks, but when isn't it?" He loads up on what the kids are eating: chicken nuggets. But in his case, it's by the handful. "But it's good to graduate. You never know what you'll need."

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I admit I wasna sure if ye'd be back or no'," Wolfsbane confesses, returning Andrea's smile with a brief one of her own, keeping herself out of the way of any potential retaliation toward Henry from the offending eaters, which would not be in their best interests at all. She rubs an elbow with a hand, keeping it there for the moment. "I've been living in Mutant Town," she adds, though her tone is muted.

Rage has posed:
"I just had to finish this last leg of my tour and it took longer than I thought, that and all the Sentinel attacks, we had to space the dates out and it made travel a bit of a struggle. I'm glad to be home though." Andrea says as she rubs the back of her neck, giving a glance about. "You're in Mutant Town?" She asks Rahne curiously as he head tilts to the side, brows lifting upwards. "Is it safe there now? Last I remember the Friends of Humanity was trying to burn it down."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane frowns. "Aye, Sentinels. They're still around. I stay away from them any way I can." She sounds a little evasive as she adds while glancing back toward Henry, "I thought I could be more o' a help tae some o' th' people who need it if I stayed in Mutant Town instead. I'm no' so sure I belong here these days except as a visitor a' times."

She's careful to avoid any X-Men talk in front of the others in the dining hall, whether they know of the group or not, but the implication could be there for those who do. "Nae, it's no' exactly safe, but I think it's getting a wee bit better one day a' a time. I'm glad it sounds like yuir music has been doing well. Tha's good news." Lowering her voice, she asks, "How has yuir control been?"

Rage has posed:
"My control is great. I've had a lot of time to myself to really connect. I'm good." Andrea says with a smile to her friend before she glances down at her phone as it chimes in her pocket. Taking it out, she furrows her brows a bit. "I gotta go and take a few calls for work, but maybe we can get together and go running." She suggests to Rahne. "It was nice seeing you again, you as well Doctor McCoy." She says to the big blue beastly man. With that, she snags a bottle of water from the kitchen before scooting out to the backyard as she taps along the glass of her phone.

Beast has posed:
Henry McCoy glances over to the kids, and rumbles quietly. "Yes, Sentinels. Not a good time," he murmurs. "Well, i'm going to go find Scott and fill him in on what the Apostles over there were up to, and wo... scarf down my lunch on the way over. Good talking."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane looks back over toward Henry, who seems to have a handle on things, after wrapping up with Andrea for now. "Ahh..well, ye be well, an' I dinna know if I told ye or no' before, but thanks again for..ye know." The Evolution thing. The gang thing. Quietly, she makes her way back out, almost aimlessly.
