Tinyplot: Age of Darkness

Superman has posed:
It was a normal day on the Justice League Watchtower. Superman had taken over 15 minutes ago as the duly appointed Mission Monitor member for the next 12 hour shift. Down below, the Earth continues her journey across the cosmos, ever moving, ever turning. A quiet day so far, there were no major alerts or major panics from her denizens.

However, something dark stirs in the ether. Something sinister reaches out, with a touch as covert and dark as any you could imagine. Ever-reaching for the pawn in the story that had begun months ago on Apokolips. Something was moving in the night, something...anyone with any kind of mystical sense will feel it. Like a chill of someone walking over your grave...

Superman rubs his head, as though he has a headache. Which should be impossible. His eyes were closed, and his right hand rubs, and rubs. With a sigh, and a quick shake of his head, Superman looks over the room, the beautiful Arboretum on the Watchtower. Leaning against the closest maple tree, Superman inhales the aromas, noting every sweet smell.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Superman may have had moniter duty, but Johnny did like spending time on the Watchtower, since it was perhaps where he could be with those like him and of course, heroic paragons like the Man of Steel. But currently, he's smoking. He was careful to ditch the cigarette on his way into the Arboretum so as not to anger any florists or not accidentally burn down the entire thing.

Turning into a flaming skeleton kinda increases the risk for that, as a kind of fateful mock-humor of the whole thing.

Oh well.

He notices Superman though looking...tired? That definitely shouldn't even be possible. Isn't this guy like...a solar battery? Thus he doesn't actually get tired? Huh. But he did feel the sinister tether in the air, perhaps another reason why Johnny was here.

"Hey Big Guy. You alright?" Johnny asks Superman for a moment, but he's also noticeably looking around. Was something on the station that outright...shouldn't be?

Flash has posed:
On the opposite side of the Arboretum, currently sat on a bench, was none other than the Fastest Man Alive. He was currently munching on a Big Belly Burger? how did he manage to get such things up here? Did he bring a dozen or so when he zetaported up here, or had he somehow manage arrangements with Chef Andre and Big Belly Burger to have them made up here?

He was currently staring blankly at a tablet, which was showing a YouTube clip by Simon Whistler's Biographics channel. The Englishman was speaking about Khutulun, the Mongol Warrior Princess, though the sound wasn't high enough to distract from anyone with normal hearing. Setting the burger down on the bench, which also had a plate, he picked up some fries, then noticed Superman and Ghost Rider, "oh, hey there Supes, Rider, how's it going?" He would pause the video on the tablet.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
There were times where being a premiere sorceress sucked. A lot.

This last month had been one of those times. She had spent much if it in another dimension. True, it had only been about seven hours in that other dimension. The passage of time differed though. Meaning, she came back to find a month gone here.

Throw in that something was messing with the magic here, in New York City mainly. Doctor Strange was rumored to not be Sorceror Supreme now which meant something had happened there too. Yet before she can even follow up on that, the darkness was there.

She was sitting in Shadowcrest when she felt it. That creepy feeling that crawled up the spine and made the hair at the nape of her neck stand on end. She reached out with her other senses, the ones that gave her magical abilities, and there it was at the edges. Something. But what? And it was centered around...

One moment she was in Shadowcrest, the next she had uttered "Tropelet!" and that took her to the teleporter to access the Watchtower. While she probably could get there directly, she tried to take the 'elevator' like everyone else.

Arriving on the Watchtower, the followed that hint of wrongness toward the Arboretum. It would take her a moment to get there, her boot heels clicking on the floor as she walked. She was wearing black dress pants and a white blouse, not her usual 'work' clothes.

Superman has posed:
Superman couold hear them before they are in his sight. Removing his hand, Superman looks up and sees Johnny first. His eyes flash...something...was that irritation? Naw, not from Superman...and Superman buries it almost as fast at it arrives. "Johnny. It is good to see you. I am okay. I have...a headache?" Superman sounds puzzled, as though that hasn't happened very often before.

*sniff* Was that...? Looking over at the Flash, Superman almost smiles. "Flash." Superman was careful this time, not using "Barry" as he was wont to do. "I see you are eating something terribly unhealthy for you. You need to eat more country, old-fashioned home cooking. Like my Mom makes. Not that Fast Food." Superman does smile at the obvious punchline there.

Then, the temperature changes. Was it getting colder? Something was coming. Or was it already there? Willow, Constantine and their team of mystics had closed the dimensional rip that the Enchantress had opened in the previous months, but this time it was different. As Zatanna got closer, it came more and more into focus. Something was attacking Superman...but what? And how?

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny looks over at The Flash as he appears to be sitting there, giving him a little two-finger salute. "Flash. Not running for once? Surprising." Yes, Johnny's going to tease the Fastest Man Alive, but his attention is quickly stolen by Zatanna when she arrives. He does notice a little change in her attire. "No fish nets? Unlike you, Zatanna. You just finish a show or something?"

Yes, Johnny likes to tease today, but his attention is quickly back on Superman in a look of concern.

"Good to see you too, Superman. You...have headaches? I mean, I know sometimes you get clocked hard enough to even rock someone like -you- but I didn't think you got headaches." Seriously, Superman has enough chin for the entire League.

Temperature changes. Johnny seems to look around for a moment. He had a jacket on, and gloves, so it didn't much bother him. "....is it just me, or is it a little colder right now?" He sensed evil presences, but he has no idea that something is attacking Superman. Zatanna to the rescue?

Flash has posed:
In the blink of an eye, the Flash was standing next to Superman, holding out the packet of his fries, leaning them towards Superman, "want one?" As if anyone could resist a golden brown, perfectly salted fry. Regardless of its health status, it certainly was pleasing to the taste buds.

After giving Superman a suitable amount of time to make his decision, he'd do the same for Johnny, "want one?" And then his attention moves towards the door and at Zatanna's arrival. He nudges Ghost Rider in the side, "hey, it's not like I run all day and all night, just like Zee doesn't wear fishnets."

"I mean, she's magic and all, but did you really think she'd wear them while skiing, skating, and skulking. I don't know why I got onto the sk pattern there, maybe I've got Saskatchewan on the brain. Ever since I saw that statue of a superhero holding a Chimichanga. I grew up in a small town, but they can be really weird. How are you Zatanna?"

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna's expression is pensive although she gives a quick nod to everyone present. "I don't always wear them. A show or when I'm on the job for the League and such," she points out even though she is keeping her eyes on Superman. Yet, her tone is conversational and meant for the others as well. "They have their time and purpose, like all things." If she breaks into song, there is seriously something evil afoot.

"Flash, I am well. Just returned from battling a mad monk in an alternate dimension but unfortunately, there is no rest for the wicked." Zatanna continues her path, eyes locked on Superman and walking straight up to him. She stops a few feet away, enough not to be in his space but certainly focusing as she looks up to his face, being so much shorter than he.

"Superman. What is happening? I can feel it. Talk to me while I do a little spell." She raises a hand, a blue glow starting around it. Sketching a few figures in the air with her hand, she brings the second into play as she starts to draw the magic around her. "Swodahs laever!" She sends out that little spell to try to reveal whatever darkness she is sensing in the room.

Superman has posed:
"Of course I don't get headaches." Superman stands up straight, and this just causes his countenance to get even more concerned. Superman's hand goes up to his forehead again, "At least I never used to Johnny." Shaking his head, Superman looks at the golden goodness as Flash arrives with fries. Taking one, Superman pops it in his mouth, and says, "Thank you."

Superman watches as Barry moves around, chatting, and smiles. Then, he watches as Zatanna moves closer. His eyes find hers, but what she sees inside was NOT SUperman's gentle eyes. Something darker was there behind the blue eyes. Something ancient, powerful, and evil. Then, the spell. That was when things went crazy.

Leaning against the tree he was standing beside for support, he suddenly pushes, a spasm, even if he didn't mean to, pushing the tree over, roots and all!

"That...that shouldn't have happened." Superman looks at the slight destruction he just caused, staring at his hand. Back to Zee."Zee...what? Cold? I..." Clenching his teeth, Superman groans, and falls to one knee, head in his hands!

Then, another voice takes over - a voice that was not Clark's voice coming from Superman's mouth. Deeper. Ancient. Cold. Zatanna's spell reveals a dark shadow engulfing SUperman's spirit. "Ah. Contact. At last." Superman's expression was one of pain, anguish, struggle and rage! "No! I will not let you!" That was Superman's voice! Then, cue evil laughter.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny looks at Superman when he stands up and tells him the fact. He does watch as Superman once again reaches for his head to hold it. Johnny kinda takes a few steps back just in case he drops or something, but the look of concern is very evident on the host of the Spirit of Vengeance. He's concerned. But then Flash is helping make things better by offering him fries. "Oh sure, I don't see why not." Johnny pops a fry into his mouth with a smile. "Thanks, Flash."

Then he looks on over to Zatanna. "This is fair, was just curious." Johnny says with a bow of the head and a smile. "Good to see you, Zatanna. But then things take a serious turn for the worse when he turns to look at Superman when Zee does her spell.

"Oh shit." Johnny says when Superman is clearly starting to lose it, shoving over a tree! Thankfully, there wasn't any life forms in the fall path, because Johnny definitely wasn't fast enough to help them.

Oh shit. Is he being corrupted? Johnny immediately takes a few steps back and draws the hellfire chain. "Shit."

Flash has posed:
"Really? I get headaches all the time. Staying up too late, stress from work, my personal life, or total lack thereof, although things do seem to be on the up. That's what happens when you hit rock bottom. It can either get better, or it ends. Hey, big guy, are you all right?" He speeds off, fetching a nearby medical kit... the fries were finished off at super speed. "You want a paracetamol or ibuprofen?"

And then with the tree being pushed over, roots and all, he manages to save the prized fern flower, digging it up and relocating it to a thankfully nearby pot. "Phew," he says, wiping his brow just in time to hear the not-Superman voice. "Um..." yeah, he was guessing some kind of parasite at best, and demonic possession at worst. "Rider, Zee, I think this is your department. What do you need?" As in, if you need materials for some magic spell, he can play the part of glorified delivery boy.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
That was not quite what she had expected.

Zatanna thought her spell would reveal something outside. Instead, it was something inside Superman! As he twitched and the tree fell, she realized how very bad this could be.

The magic is drawn closer to her as she pulls from any ley lines in the area as well as the bubbling well of power inside her own soul. "Superman, we are with you. All will be well," she promises as her dark hair begins to lift and fall, as though there is a strong wind blowing in her face. Her entire attention is on Superman. Or more precisely, the entity within the Man of Steel.

Her fingers are rapidly sketching in the air, runes and symbols appearing and fading as they do a dance hanging in the air. Then her eyes go solid white as she floats a foot up into the air before him. "You are not welcome here. Who are you? Why are you attacking Superman?" she demands in a voice that echoes from all over the room yet is no louder than a whisper as it fell from her lips.

Superman has posed:
"Hahahahahah! You cannot stop me, Little Witch. It has taken me months, but now, I am in control! For so long I have been trapped within the Source Wall! No longer! Now, this planet will rue the day it met this Kryptonian, and it will come to worship the mighty Yuga Khan!"

Superman stands up, clenching his right fist in a grandiose move. Although his voice carries the weight of that Old God, Superman's face was in conflict with himself. Looking at Johnny first, then Flash, and finally Zatanna, Superman fights back to regain control for the moment.

"No!" A familiar voice. "Zatanna. Flash. Johnny. You know what you have to do. I can't...arggghhh! I can't lose control! This has been happening for weeks. I've been fighting...trying so hard, but something within me has been fighting me. Ever since Apokolips. I can't....do it! You can't let him...end it!"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
EVIL SUPERMAN?!

Johnny looks at Superman when he seems to fall almost completely to the evil spirit that seems to claim him. Johnny looks at Zatanna when she asks the spirit why it attacks Superman, and it seems to be a monster trapped in the source wall. "Yuga Khan? The hell is a Yuga Khan?" Johnny not being clearly knowledgeable of what exists within the source wall because....he's never been there.

But his eyes narrow and he exhales slowly as his body erupts into flames, soon revealing just a skeleton wreathed in Hellfire where Johnny Blaze used to be. Hellish eyes look at Superman and looks about to attack before Superman breaks through fast enough. He looks at Zatanna. "Find the spell to use!" Then to Flash. "Flash, help me keep him off of Zatanna." Then, Johnny rushes at the monsterously superior life form, Attempting to swing the Hellfire chain at him to try a perhaps futile form of restraining him. May or may not work.

Flash has posed:
Superman going evil was one of the Flash's worst nightmares. As much as they joked about who was fastest, something Flash was supremely confident in, it was good natured ribbing. At the end of the day, whether or not Superman was as fast as Flash, he had damn good speed, and a whole array of other abilities. He stood there, for what by Flash's standards was an eternity, as his mind raced with ideas, permutations, and what to do.

The good thing is that the Flash had an extra ability of his own: his mind. Beneath the red suit, he was a scientist, and more importantly, he was a problem solver. Looking to Ghost Rider and Zatanna, two magical beings, it was a good start. If things turned ugly, they'd have as good a chance as anyone, which is to say, minimal.

And then, with ever so brief, "be right back," he ran off, heading for another part of the Watchtower. He was in a space station. There were things he could do. Arriving in the Workstation, he began to amass some materials, stealing them from other devices, storage, even in some cases ripping stuff out of the walls. Presumably it would be needed. But this was serious. Right now, Flash was in a far different race. It was a race against time. And there was no silver medal for second place.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
"Yuga Khan, you underestimate this witch," comes that echoing voice of Zatanna as she continues to float in the middle of a windstorm. Yet, there is no wind. Only around her as her clothes and hair shift in the zephyr.

"You will let Superman go or I will see you banished to the lowest level of Hell. They owe me a favor," she adds, which while it sounds light is actually perhaps a bit creepier that she does know entities that that might owe her for something.

As Ghost Rider makes his appearance and Flash runs off, which means he probably will be back in seconds, Zatanna knows she has to do this as fast as she can. Her hands and arms are moving, the symbols appearing and shifting around withing glowing circular patterns. The spell will have to be a strong one. Something that can possess Superman isn't going to be a pushover. But first, a little taste for the thing inside the hero. "Live llahs ton niw!" The aura of blue power flares around Superman's body, a shield that is meant to keep the monster within cut off from any outside powers it might be drawing upon. For Zatanna,it isn't always just the words. It is the words combined with her mental visualization and intentions. So though she simply said Evil will not win, her purpose is a shield to block it from drawing any power.

Now she has a name as well. And Names hold Power.

Superman has posed:
The Hellfire Chains wrap around Superman's arms, restraining him. Although they burn into his skin, there is no reflection of any pain on his face. There is merely a smile. A dark, crooked, evil smile. "Not bad Hellspawn. A rider, here on Earth. I see that you have permeated the cosmos, even here. Incredibly delightful." Superman, or Yuga Khan in Superman's form doesn't struggle, instead turning his eyes on the next of the trio present. As it was, those chains probably just saved all their lives.

Next up. The Flash. As the Flash sped off, Superman's senses watch him go. That could be a problem, but first, he had to deal with the magician in front of him. The chains were one thing, but Yuga Khan could sense her power. Zatanna was not a Sorceress to be trifled with. If they all look carefully, they will see Superman's eyes start to glow crimson red...

"Hahahahah...let him go. Right. Hell is something I would relish, considering where I have been since before your planet was a hunk of molten rock." Superman's eyes continue to glow red and with a "zat!" fire, suddenly richocheting off the blue shield Zatanna erects around Superman.

"Not bad..." the voice echoes, with a growl. "You have power little witch, I'll give you that...but you can't stop me." The voice purrs and Superman closes his eyes. A feeling. They could feel it. Rumbling within the ether. If this wasn't dealt with soon, something was coming.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny lets Zarathos have majority control so the Ghost Rider can put forth a FAR greater ratio of pure superhuman strength. Namely in the 100 ton range to -try- to give the possessed Kryptonian a modicum of a struggle or challenge. Thankfully, the Hellfire seems to be doing its work since its a mystical element. Ghost Rider growls at the creature who doesn't even bother to struggle or break free of the chain.

Is he doing his job well? I mean...hardcore maybe. Superman could probably break free at any moment but Zarathos is NOT going to make it easy on him. Flash then decides to leave, likely to grab something that -could- help. Its moments like these where you realize it would be -amazing- if Batman put -free to use if Kal turns evil via entity possession- Kryptonite around here SOMEWHERE.

But either way, Ghost Rider is trying to keep Superman atl east occupied. "Leave his body, coward! Face us in your true form, do not dare corrupt the innocent!" Zarathos and Johnny both say in rage.

Flash has posed:
One would think that the Flash would be back in seconds. If he takes longer than that, it's only because he has a lot of intricate work to do. And intricate doesn't even begin to cover it. He was making a right mess of the workshop. And it was always easier to dismantle something than to reassemble it. The repairs were going to take a lot of effort. But that was tomorrow's problem... besides; he was off duty tomorrow on the rota. Not that it played any part to the haphazard way he was discarding anything he didn't need.

He was periodically running around the Watchtower to collect other things. Once or twice he even zipped by the door to the Arboretum, triggering the door mechanism which had been specifically designed to account for speedsters. It was the only reason he even set it off, not that it could open fast enough for him even if he did. So for those inside, the door just opened and closed, with no obvious cause, as by the time it had opened, he was already gone.

On the table in the Workshop, a device was starting to take shape. It looked somewhat like an energy rifle from some science fiction show, except the barrel had something more like a small satellite dish, with three metal prongs forming a triangle in the centre.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
The complexity of the glowing discs around her is growing. More and more symbols, more and more power. She reaches out to the planet below, tapping the ley lines and finding a very powerful one that has not been drained as much as some of the others around New York City. (She definitely needed to follow up on why that was, if she managed to not die at the hands of Superman!)

"Aguy nahk!" With names equally power, she is going to use that to her advantage. It allows her to focus all the magical spell on Yuga Khan instead of Superman. She says his name, backwards, since that is how her magic works. Then she begins to draw those many discs into a pattern around her as she plies the air with her fingers. She spreads her arms out to her sides, as wide as possible.

The swelling of whatever it is coming is enough to force her hand. She has to try and she doesn't know if it will work. Those who can read the runes would see it is a trapping spell, one meant to hold the entity in a place within Superman but to give the Man of Steel control once again.

Then with a voice like thunder, she brings her hands down and forward, slamming them together at waist level as all of the glowing magic bits follow her fingers to swirl around her joined hands in a rainbow hued display of light. A flick of her hands and that light is fired toward Superman's chest!

"Ytti yttib gnivil ecaps!"

Superman has posed:
Superman doesn't struggle against the chains. His eyes open suddenly, look at Johnny with loathing, and he smiles a wicked smile. "You are a brave one, servant of darkness. Perhaps I could use you in my army. Perhaps. As it is, I am no coward. I will make you pay for that comment, servant of fire." Superman's voice was calm. Collected. Ready.

Superman's voice was mumbling something. It sounds strange, ancient. "Masha mis'avic na'salha nasha ma halla." What was he saying? "Where are you you sniveling lapdog of my son. Answer me!" His eyes flash crimson once more, the beams reflecting off Zatanna's blue shield once more.

"You should give up, as your friend has. The Flash. I hear him. What is he doing little witch? Planning a surprise? You know I am inevitable. These chains, and your little spells can't hold me. I will be free, and then I think I will let you live. Perhaps. To watch as I devour your planet. Perhaps."

Yuga Khan stops. His eyes narrow, as Zatanna draws on the mystic power of the planet. It crackles in the air between them like static electricity. The barrier severs Khan's connection to Apokolips and the incoming "Boomtube" and breaches his defenses. "What...?" Is all he says, as his eyes widen in shock.

"What are you doing..stop it!" It was like the being was on the ropes, and falling back. "Zatanna...where...what...?" That was SUperman's voice. It was working!

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Flash comes back with a really cool laser gun...but would that really hurt Superman? One can only think. When this monster tells the Rider that he would be a good servant in his army, Ghost Rider exhales a stream of flame, it doesn't anywhere near touch anybody, but it is very much so a tell-tale sign of pure annoyance. "I would never serve you. I serve vengeance...and YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND WANTING." The Rider suddenly runs forward, attempting to literally hold Superman in place when he notices Zatanna casting her powerful spell.

The look on the Rider screams 'KEEP IT UP!!' to Zatanna, even if him possibly holding the Man of Steel down to make an easy target for the Flash's energy weapon, even if Ghost Rider might get hit in the crossfire. Either way, it seems this beast's overconfidence over a body and power that is not its own will be its undoing.

Though Ghost Rider was tempted to use the Penance stare, he didn't want to accidentally hurt Kal if this was a matter of a soul-tie kind of dominance.

Lets just hope the plan, namely Zatanna's magic, works!!!

Flash has posed:
The Flash was no coward. He was also the Fastest Man Alive. So the fact that he had been absent for minutes, actual whole minutes, spoke volumes. With any luck, it was worth the wait. Appearing in the doorway, he was wielding a rifle-like device, which had its own force field, borrowed from one of the Javelin's in the hanger bay, and aimed it at the Yuga Khan-possessed Superman.

In his absence, he had constructed a lower energy light emitter, which would in theory reproduce what was harmful to Superman. He aimed it at Superman's face, as that was uncovered skin, and said to himself after firing, "I sure hope this works." If his calculations were correct and his construction was right, it should be highly effective. If not, well, then he had wasted an eternity by his standards on a fool's errand.

"Yuga Khan, we know stars pretty well at this point. It's one of the triumphs of 21st century modern astrophysics. We know how stars are born, how they live out their lives, and how they die. We know what their properties are. For you, a yellow star is good, and a red star is bad. Now, in laymen's terms, a yellow star is hotter than the red star. It gives off a little more white light. A little more yellow light, than does the red star. It's just light."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
"Superman, I'm trying to contain it for now. It'll still be there but hopefully, not taking control again," Zatanna offers, her voice her own instead of echoing with the power now.

That is saved for the entity.

She brings her hands forward, as though gripping something in front of her. The blue shield around Superman shifts slightly, looking like it is being gripped by hands on either side. It is enough to show what she is manipulating.

"Yuga Khan! Time for you to go back to rest a bit. We'll deal with you more later!" she calls to the being inside. She needs to examine things more closely and, honestly, she's going to need to get some other mystics involved. Whatever this thing is, it's strong. She isn't going to be able to get rid of it alone.

Thankfully she had support or she likely wouldn't have been able to do as much as she has since he wouldn't have been physically restrained. "Og ot peels!"

It shouldn't put it to sleep but it should hopefully lock it away back into Superman's subconscious again, instead of it running amok.

As she says the words, she begins to tighten that shiled. It should pass through Superman's body and condense somewhere deep inside him--hopefully holding the entity within in there.

Superman has posed:
Johnny's attack and hold is crucial to keeping Yuga Khan distracted as Zatanna's spell begins to work its, *ahem*, magic. Superman's eyes look at Johnny with contempt and hatred, and then there it was. The heroic countenance and perseverence of Kal El of Krypton. A moment of communication passes between the two warriors, as Superman fights back. "Thank you Johnny."

Flash was there. The beam hits Superman like a meteorite striking the ocean. Red sun. White sun. All of the wavelengths hit him, weakening Khan's hold further. It surrounds Superman's body in an energy sheath.

With the chains of the Ghost Rider, combined with the magic of Zatanna, something snaps. The spirit was...gone...in an itty bitty space, somewhere? Zee's magic works. The shield passes into his body, and suddenly, Clark is back. The coldness in the air is gone. The vibration of the opening portal, the "Boom Tube" to somewhere else was disrupted and vanishes. The place was quiet as Superman lets out the breath he was holding.

"He's...gone..." Superman says. "You can let me go Johnny. Thank you." The blast from Flash's "light" gun, the magic, and the chains from Blaze all were a perfect match for whatever happened to Superman. Before he collapses, Superman says one thing. Looking at Barry, he says, "Bruce." Then he collapses, exhausted.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
The spell is cast in victory and Ghost Rider watches Superman as he weakens severely, eventually being taken down by this almost specific team that was able to get the job done. When Superman seems to truly be Superman, Ghost Rider does release him slowly, perhaps assisting him a little bit...but then he falls unconscious. Blaze withdraws the chains from Superman so he can rest him down comfortably.

Then, he untransforms to revert back to Johnny Blaze. He looks at Flash. "You heard the man." Whatever he means by 'Bruce'. Johnny didn't know anybody's friggin identities.

Except the obvious ones!

Flash has posed:
The Flash, ever ready to believe that good has prevailed, cautiously turns off the low energy light emitter gun, but keeps the force field going, in case it's a trick. When Bruce is referenced, the Flash triggers his comm unit and signals for help from the Dark Knight, and then, a medic. The normally jovial Flash can't even manage to crack a joke. This was serious. A friend was in need. And there were no easy answers.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Only once he has returned to himself does Zatanna allow the power to ebb away from her. She floats back to the ground, eyes returning to normal. Her hair falls back around her shoulders as the magical wind is gone just as quickly as it appeared.

"We need to get him to the medlab. Can you get him, Johnny?" She asks. Whether it be him or his alter ego to do the lifting. She certainly won't be. Superman outweighs her by quite a lot and she just used a lot of magic in this confrontation, so that is out for carrying him right now.

A glance is given to Flash, to be sure he is already working on reaching out to the name provided. Then she gives a nod to Johnny. "Flash has it. He'll try to find the man he asked for." She isn't going to throw out any secret identities.

She is looking a bit worn herself. That was a lot of power in there. Whatever this Yuga Khan is, it's strong. Time to reach out to some others to try and find out what it is. First, she'll start with the Watchtower databases though.

"We need to figure this out as quickly as possible. My spell will only contain it so long."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny looks at Zatanna. "Yeah, I got him covered." He kneels down and picks up the fallen Man of Steel in his arms and starts to carry him off to medical. What was the entity that possessed him? What the hell was the source wall?

Who the hell is Yuga Khan?

But Flash is calling in someone clearly important who would know what to do, or can possibly know what to do more like, and Johnny didn't mind it. His friend was in need. And he was going to help him as much as he could. "How long are we talking here, Zatanna?"

Because if its like...an hour, they might be in a lot of trouble when he wakes up.
