A Quiet Night

Location:	American Museum Nat. His.
Synopsis:	Johnny is back in town and Liz decides coffee is a good thing.

Liz Sherman has posed:
Liz has been missing Johnny and well, work has been gearing up given they're about to go into the month of October. That means people are going to be wanting to summon demons for fun and talk to ghosts. Which made the BPRD fairly busy.

She'd gotten the idea for a normal date night. She'd left Johnny a message to see if he'd meet her at the American Museum of Natural History. She's brought coffee and herself. She's wearing black jeans, black boots and a black leather jacket over a white t-shirt. Her badge is in her back pocket. Just in case!

Johnny never did mind the normalcy of their relationship. Honestly, especially when he was on the road being a deadly demon hunter or even while he was at work, he would send text messages to Liz asking her how she was doing and calling her beautiful and all that cheesy romantic junk.

What? He's always been a bit of a romantic.

He does drive his motorcycle down there though, eventually dismounting and he stretches just a little bit. Its in this moment that he notices her. He's dressed in his usual leather jacket with some black cargo pants, combat boots, and a black t-shirt. He walks up to her oh-so-casually. "Hey Sunflower, how's it going?"

Liz was always quick to return texts and things. Because it was really a good thing to have someone to talk to and well, she had a huge soft spot for the man. She's seated on the steps outside and she hears the motorcycle and looks up to see the blonde, she can't help but smile a little.

Because deep down inside Liz had always hoped for someone that she could be close to and well, Johnny was pretty much flame proof. The woman stands and waits for him to get closer as she looks him over, "You look like you could use a break sweets." she grins to that. "And things are quiet at the moment, but much better now that some guy is back in town." she admits as she steps closer, going for a hug.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Not ashamed or shy to embrace her fully, Johnny opens his arms wide to pull her into a tight hug, though she could probably tell he missed herconsidering that...well, he absolutely tells her. "I missed ya, you know? Sorry I've taken so long in seeing you again. One monster after another and then my job, which is giving me headaches..."

He sighs just a little bit.

"Some guy, huh? Of the good variety or the shitty variety?" For all he knows, her 'some guy' might just be a boss she doesn't want to deal with. "I do? Am I starting to look a little ragged?" Well, his beard was a little thicker...

Liz is happy to hug him and she laces her arms around his shoulders and squeezes him, "I missed you too. Was getting ready to see if you needed any help out there." she tells him. "And yes, your job is full of monsters and demons. I understand that completely handsome." she tells him quietly.

Then the raven haired woman is letting her fingers play with his beard, "Well...that some guy is you." she winks at him. "Not many other guys I get all excited about coming back to town." she smiles to him. "So anything particularly troublesome?" she asks him as she looks to his eyes.

Johnny smiles at Liz as she happily enters his embrace. Honestly? It was really, really nice to have someone that he can love, to cherish and they do the exact same for him. So, when she tells him that she understands comlpetely that his line of work is extremely dangerous and important.

Came with the Ghost Rider.

So, when she winks at him. "You're gonna make me swoon." He leans forward to try and plant a kiss on her then. Long and gentle, if she allows him. "Nothing troublesome anymore."

Liz is content to hug the man and just not worry about setting him on fire. She had to worry about others though. She figured he was a package deal and she was to a point with her fire and all.

"You aren't going to swoon, big guy." Liz tells him. Then she returns his kiss, there's even a few kids that wander by with their parents and 'EWWWW' the PDA. She gives a little laugh when she pulls back, "Good. Does that mean I might get to snuggle up with you later and then take you to breakfast before you head back out?" she asks with a hopeful smile.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny chuckles just a tad. Hey, the whole 'oh shit, sorry, I accidentally burnt you with the FLAMES OF HELL' doesn't apply to either of them. Hellfire approved, baybay.

Johnny nods. "Oh I know I won't swoon. Wouldn't miss being with you for the world." Then they embrace. The children's comments does make him smile against her lips, but it doesn't stop him at all from kissing her that much more lovingly.

"Hell. yes." Johnny agrees to Liz's offer of spending the night then getting breakfast.

Liz Sherman has posed:
Liz gives a smile to him, "I know, but hey, if you do swoon at least we're in public and I'd have help picking you up." she teases him gently. The children get a look and there's a little smile to them, "You'll understand when you're older kid. Believe me." she tells them.

Then she's giving Johnny another sweet kiss and she seems content to just stay there. "Mmm. So snuggling for the night and breakfast in the morning." she smiles to that. "Did you want to walk around for a bit or just want to sit and drink coffee and relax?" she asks him.
