Cast of Characters: Hammerhead, Berri Sundae

Hammerhead has posed:
It has been a few days since Hammerhead had hired you and basically pawned off your services to the Tornadoes. Ever since meeting with their leader Chad, you haven't heard anything from him, making him think he forgot all about you. That was until last night when you got a profanity filled voice mail from him on your new burner phone. In between swears and death threats, he told you about some Irish gangster named Ryan O'Brian and how he screwed him in a weapons deal and ran off with his money. Now, Chad was "requesting" that you track down Ryan and try to get his money back, promising payment if you suceed, he even promised a bit extra if you taugh Ryan and by extension his bosses, The O'Malley Twins a lesson.

Using your contacts, you managed to track down the gangster to a dive of a diner in Hell's Kitchen. By the time you arrived it should be closed. But, you see the lights on a group of men partyiing it up inside, including your target. There is a longe guard standing by the entrance, arms crossed.

Berri Sundae has posed:
Most of the time, someone completing this sort of job would bring a few goons or perhaps drive by with a gun blazing. That however, was not how Berri handled this sort of job. It lacked a certain...style after all. A diner wasn't exactly a hard-core bar that would have people wanting to card her immediately, but the girl with pink hair and a parasol walking in at this time of night was probably still going to get a look. Calmly approaching the front door, the girl just sort of...keeps walking. Perhaps the guard would think her harmless and let her through...but she was almost hoping he wouldn't.

The wait for work had been -boring- after all. She needed the excitement.

Hammerhead has posed:
The guard sees you approaching the door and immediatley moves towards the door to block it. He glares at you and says in a voice with a hint of a Irish-Accent," Beat it kid! It is a private party in there tonight!" You can hear the sounds of loud, irish drinking songs and laughter.

Berri Sundae has posed:
That step, it's expected, it's outright perfect. He's too busy looking at her face to see the 'attack' until he'd stepped into it. A sudden lashing of her parasol and the curved handle hooks an ankle, pulling back with a sudden twist intended to extend the guard's leg and throw him off-balance, right before a twirl and flick of her wrist has the hardened bar within sweeping right into his groin. The motion is barely over before the girl twists and slams her elbow into the temple of the man who was almost certainly going to be doubling over as any normal person would.

Now she just had to deal with the party.

The girl's lips actually quirk into a smirk as she steps through the door and lets her mental senses sweep outwards, looking for this 'Ryan'.

Hammerhead has posed:
The man lets out a surpised gasp as he is caught off balance by the hook attack, this is then replaced by a scream of pain as he is hit in the groin by the parasol. Before he can do anyhting else, he is hit in the temple by the girl. As the man falls to the ground unconcious. The music must've drowned out the attack as no one came out to investigate.

The sounds of loud music and laughter filled the air as you entered the diner. None of the party-goers, who all appear to be Irish gangsters fail to notice you. The smell of cheap bear and cigarettes fill the air as waitresses rush around taking food orders. Your mental senses eventually pick up on a tall, muscular man holding on to a metal briefcase hanging out ny the jukebox with a group of gangsters. This was your man, no doubt about that.

Berri Sundae has posed:
Briefcase, likely there was the money in there. Either way, she'd likely be able to do the lesson-teaching part right here and now. There's an obvious problem with being a mute who has to deliver a threat. Fortunately, there's a simple solution to that; the neatly hand-written note she holds between her fingers.

Even as the girl walks seemingly carefree through the gathering towards the man, she's taking stock of the drunken thugs, their weapons and moods. With her training, she could handle trash like this...but that didn't mean she could be careless.

Moving towards the tall man? The girl simply walks right towards him, a sweet smile and a blink before she holds the letter out to him.

<You owe the Tornadoes payment,> the note speaks, <pay now and you'll avoid 'penalties'.>

Hammerhead has posed:
Ryan looks at the girl with a look of confusion on his face and says," Who da hell let a kid in here!" As you hand him the note, he snatches it from your hands and reads it. He then starts to laugh and crumples up the note. He then throws it at your face while saying," I am not paying those dammned rich bastards a single cent! You get out of here now!"

Berri Sundae has posed:
The crumpled paper? Berri lazily leans sideways and lets it pass her by, her face blank for a moment before she blinks. Once. Twice. Then she smiles...

A sudden surge of motion, there's a drawing of a small knife from her sleeve so viciously that it's almost entirely certain to be missed until the weapon plunges into Ryan's hand, pinning it to the table. Only the assassin's training has her certain to avoid lasting damage...it'll probably hurt for a very long time now.

Already she was stepping back, eyes moving and mental senses flicking between Ryan's thugs. She had to know who'd move first and how, keeping alert to foes would be the only way to follow this many threats at once.

Hammerhead has posed:
Ryan screams in pain as his hand is plungged to the table. As he starts to try to pull the knife out of his hand, a bottle breaks and one of Ryan's goons charges at you with a broke beer bottle. Meanwhile, a second goon pulls out a pocket knife and charges at you to.

Berri Sundae has posed:
Berri moves sidelong, sweeping sideways and seeming to twist effortlessly out of the way of the knife. A pivot, a turn, every movement looked so effortless it seemed she knew the strikes before they even came at her.

The parasol flicks up, parrying his arm sidelong before her small form twists and hooks the goon with the handle of the parasol to drag him into the path of the next jab with the broken bottle.

Hammerhead has posed:
The man with the knife lets out a gasp of surpise as his arm is hooked by the parasol's handle and is dragged into the path of the bottle. Blood spurts out of the man as he is stabbed accidently by the man with the bottle. The man slumps down to the floor, dead. The man with the bottle then lets out a bellow of anger as he charges Berri again. Meanwhile, another goon pulls out a pistol and aims it at her in a attempt to shoot the girl.

Berri Sundae has posed:
Berri was fast, but she wasn't bulletproof. Even the hardened woven protection in her parasol was better for knives than guns. When that weapon comes up, they petite enforcer gives a little exhale of effort and twists, the glow to her eyes betraying the use of her telepathic ability as disorientation floods the gun-goon's senses. Where she was wasn't where he -saw- her, and Berri deliberately moves to parry and block just right so the other man is kept between her and the shooter.

Hammerhead has posed:
Berri's powers seeom to work it's job as the gunman starts to rub his eyes and fire randomly, hitting three other goons. One of these shots hit the man with the bottle, killing him istantly and wounding the other two goons. The gunman then starts to stumble around, his gun clicking, signaling that he is out of ammo.

Berri Sundae has posed:
Berri twists on the spot now, kicking the legs out from on bleeding man before she draws back one arm and in her hand comes the thin metal blade. Gracefully weaving through the chaos and trailing bloody footprints with her white boots before she lunges with her weapon to the man who needed to reload.

Hammerhead has posed:
The wounded man falls to the ground with a grunt as he clutches his shoulder in pain. As your blade sinks into the gunman, you hear Ryan yell out from the chaos," Ya frekin lunatic! The O'Malley twins will kill ya for this!" The diner at this point looks like a blood bath as the rest of the goons still standing have the common sense to start fleeing.

Berri Sundae has posed:
A flick of the blade, blood is flicked away...right towards the face of Ryan. She moves forwards, hopping onto the table and folding her legs before she lifts a hand and rubs her fingers and thumb together in the gesture of universal payment.

Hammerhead has posed:
Ryan looks on in horro as te blood is flicked on his face. Ryan then says to her in a voice that had a mix of horro and anger," Fine, take da damn briefcase! The O'malley twins will rip ya and yer Tornado buddies apart!"

Berri Sundae has posed:
And just like that? She smiles, taking the case in her hand and pulling it close. She doesn't open it, instead she leans foreards and peers into his mind. Was he lying? Was it all there? Those were the answers she sought...and then she'd leave nothing but utter terror behind in his mind.

Hammerhead has posed:
As the man looks at you in pure terro flashes of his memories in the past 24 hours go through your mind. Most of the money was still there, but he had already spent some of it. Images of him buying beer, paying his rent, and other things fill your mind. There was about $240 missing from the case.

Berri Sundae has posed:
The enforcer pauses, reaches down into his pocket. She'd killed his men and traumatized him...now she was mugging and looting him and his men on her way out to make the difference.

A pause on her way out, the girl reaches to retrieve a soda from the fridge, then she's happily skipping out the door to send a message on her phone.

Lesson learned.
