Planning for a heist.
Date of Scene: 15 October 2019
Location: Gotham Zoo, Bay Side
Synopsis: And the plan begins
Cast of Characters: Red Robin, Catwoman
Tinyplot: Age of Darkness

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake put the word out that he wanted to talk to Catwoman. The young man left it at Meet the bird at the same place and time as out last meeting. I need to talk to you about current events. He then staked out the place planning to be the first to show up tonight.

Catwoman has posed:
The news was everywhere. She almost reached out to the Bat Family herself in one way or another. It's an extended group around Gotham City, and Oracle is one of the people holding it together. There are various Robins around and others besides.

Instead, it was Red Robin who made contact first, through an established contact that would get the message to the right person. The 'little bird' would have had to get to the Gotham Zoo's aviary pretty early to be the first one there, but that is how it goes this time.

Within about five minutes of him arriving, Catwoman strides in. No theatrics. No joking around. No nicknames. "Red Robin. Talk." She's dressed for business, head to toe, a hand at her hip. There is an edge to her voice, just enough nervousness to it to indicate the news has hit her hard. Surprising?

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is waiting in a dark corner, and will simply say "He is alive, but that is not the reason I asked you here, I am in need of your help, and it is not something I want to be found out about.

Catwoman has posed:
It's been half a year since the two met here. "You said you were going to call in a favor one of these days," she states. "This is about Batman, isn't it? Tell me he isn't actually dead." Yes, that's concern in her voice. Her expression, what can be seen of it given the tinted goggles and the cowl that surrounds her face, suggests the concern is genuine.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is in full costume, and says "He is alive, and this is yea and no about him, more about the other side of the coin. I am sure Superman is not dead either, and I am in need of some help to get information to figure out exactly what is going on.

Catwoman has posed:
There is visible relief in Catwoman's body language, and it's a good thing that he is trusting her with this information rather than keeping her in the dark. "Good, good." Whether he is telling her the man behind the Bat is still alive or covering for any contingency plans in place, that is unclear. "But how have you come to this conclusion?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "They did not have a body of Superman at the end of the fight, and there would have been one. Someone had been controlling him, and I am pretty sure still are. I need to figure out who and how, to stop it. Right now with the world thinking Superman is dead, they can have him healing up as well, and bring him back, more prepared. I need to find him free him, and stop who ever caused this mess in the first place."

Catwoman has posed:
"All right, hold on a minute," Catwoman says with a shake of the head, seeking to slow him down. "I admit something seemed off about Superman," an understatement if there ever was one, "but what are you thinking is going on with him? How do you expect to find him and make him better, if that's what's really going on?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "He was captured by some enemies a while back and we had to save him. I believe it has something to do with that. I believe he maybe visiting around his grave but I am not sure how or why he would be. Right now, I need to find out who is in the grave, I am sure it is not superman, and finding out who or what is in there may lead me to the next step

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman's expression reveals some skepticism, but she hasn't known the Bat Brood to be dishonest. Rather, most of them are practically upstanding to a fault. "I haven't really kept up on that news," she drawls, fingers drumming at the side of her hip where the hand remains. "I heard about the funeral, though. Let me guess. This is where I come in. You want me to break into a tomb? I never thought that would be the favor you needed done."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "Well, I want you to help me, there is one other I plan to talk into this. Your experience with this type of job could come in quite handy. If my other partner agrees it maybe very simple to do this, but I am planning on trying to make sure no others find out we were there and the more prepared we are the better."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman puts up a hand again. "Let's be clear about one thing. I don't know where you got the idea this is the kind of job I do, but I've never gone grave-robbing. If I'm going to go do a job, maybe find a new owner for a few things, I stick to the living. What you're asking for would be beyond acceptable for most people." She frowns then, shaking her head, "But in a case like this, it might be neccessary."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "I am looking at this as breaking and entry, not grave robbing. Not even tomb raiding. This is going to be going into a place I am pretty sure will have some top notch security for information and at the closest to grave robbing at all I am planning it maybe taking a sample of the corpse if there is one in there, so I can see who or what it really is.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman still carries a way about her that suggests she is not totally down with this idea. It may be for the greater good, however. "Whatever you want to call it, it could be seen as desecration. I don't really buy the whole heaven and hell thing, but if any of that /is/ true you know this is probably going to be a strike on our records. But, let's say I get you in, and whoever your friend may be. Whatever you do in there is all on you."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head, and offers her a burner cellphone "The GPS is disabled, I will contact you when I have everything set up, and with any more informaiton I get."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman catches it, or just accepts it from him, whichever is simplest. "I'll double-check that," she says of the GPS, showing there are still trust issues between her and the Bat Family. "And if I do this, favor or not, it's ultimately for Batman and Superman." She doesn't linger, instead fading quickly into shadow before exiting.
