<< OOC SCENE NOTE: NPCs/Scene spoofed by Tony; Tony is not present >>

The various clues have led investigators here, to Green St, in Coventry. The street is not a quiet one: there are a number of frat houses here, and there are parties to do on Thursday night. The weekend comes early for those that don't have class on Friday, obviously!

Lori Dell has been missing two days, and was sighted outside of a fast food restaurant. When spoken to, she became agitated and annoyed, and left the site. She called an UBER to take her to Green Street, where she got out, stumbled over part of the curb, breaking her high heeled shoe. She pulled it off in annoyance, and the UBER left. What happened to her from there? Hard to say, the night seems to have swallowed her up....

Oracle has posed:
This is not a scene for Batman.. at least not in the way people are use to seeing the Dark Knight. Babs reevaluated several things after her trial run in the suit she was provided and made some alterations.

When she appears on the scene now, she's wearing a hoodie, which makes sense with the weather starting to get a little nippy in the New Jersey evening. She's wearing the breast plate for the armored suit, the segmented plates having been sprayed matte black with a digital green bat-symbol, but it remains under cover of the zipped up hoodie.

On the back is a UGC logo. She could be any redhead just coming for the party in black skinny jeans and tread heavy running shoes and arrives on a suped up black 2025 Ducati just means she's a rich redhead come for the party. Her hair is pulled back in a headache inducing tight ponytail as she throws a leg off the bike and starts up towards the place where the UBER driver dropped off Lori Dell, having hacked the GPS linked to the UBER driver App.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok perches on roof of 1212 Green St. looking down over the location Lori arrived at by car. A moment's breath, and then begins his descent, scrambling like a squirrel down the side of the building into the darkness away from the road. A moment later, and he strides silently out, coming to a kneeling stop a few feet from the broken shoe remnants, beginning to cycle through his helmet's vision modes as the Babsman arrives to begin her own investigation.

Iron Man has posed:
The party at 1213 yells and laughs, as another car pulls up of some additional students. Two of them immediately look at ... Amarok, of course. There is a guy on the sidewalk in a costume with a helmet, of all things. Of course they look at him. They're not blind.

"OOooooooOOOoooo!" calls one of the girls. "Where's your bike?" she calls, clearly already started with the drinking well before arriving. "Is it hot, too?"

Lori's shoe is discovered by Dan, and there's a little peek of white down towards 1210 Green Street, against the side of a parked green Subaru, where the other shoe was discarded after the wearer found that it sucked to walk in just one heel.

Barbara isn't noticed, as she's not as out of place, at least not yet.

Oracle has posed:
Babs regards Amarok, but it's a casual kind of inspection with her hands shoved in the pockets of her zipped up hoodie. She even joins in the jeering a little as she bounces across the street to the even side on her way to 2008. Her phone, one of the new Wayne Tech Promethius that has been so heavily modified it is that model only by case, slips from her pocket where she thumbs the screen to bring up the tracking program set to the Wayne Celltowers... Triangulating the signal of Lori's phone with a glance at the party further down at 2016.. She's headed in the oposite direction though.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok ignores the drunks, and the allegedly sobers, as he picks up the shoe and looks it over. He glances up, his gaze following the path to the other discarded shoe, and he drops the broken one as he rises, beginning his silent stride towards it to further his inspection. Barbara and her super-phone continue to go unnoticed, expertly camouflaged by the torrent of obnoxious party goers.

Iron Man has posed:
Most of the houses have their windows shut tight, often with shades drawn, against the din of the parties. They aren't as interested in hearing the latest single belted by drunken frat boys, perhaps, down at 1208 or 1206. Most of them do have their lights on, and 1208 isn't any different. There are three shapes in the windows of 1208, and abruptly the front door opens, and a young woman comes out, with car keys in her hand.

It isn't Lori Dell, though, the hair is the wrong color. Braided and pulled back, it could be Kimberly: maybe. It's dark and she isn't grinning into a camera lens. She also has some bandages on her face, and forehead. She goes directly out to the driveway and to the drivers' side of the car there, a white Prius, clearly intending to get inside.

Oracle has posed:
Babs reaches up to flip her hood over her head as she nears 1208 and takes and abrupt turn towards the yard, holding the phone down at her side as she stumbles, kind of drunkenly, in the bandaged womans direction. As she nears she starts singing whatever song is playing further down the road, using her cellphone as a mic until she's bumping up against the back rear passanger side of the Prius as if she hadn't even seen it at all.. "Excuse me officer..." Hands up, shuffling feet as if she's trying not to fall, "Wait, you're not a cop... Kimberly?" Squinting at the woman, big grin. "Is that you? Yeah it's you!"

Amarok has posed:
Amarok stalks his way over to the other shoe, not bothering to kneel this time as he inspects it, his gaze shifting about. And then the door to 1208 snaps open, Amarok's gaze reflexively snapping to the woman exitting the house. He just as quickly begins to look away before doing a double take, his eyes catching on the sight of bandages through the darkness, and drawing him as quietly as ever away from the shoe.

Iron Man has posed:
The woman looks in surprise towards Barbara, watching her stumble, and pauses there, with the door open. "Sure is. Not a cop, now, before, or ever," chuckles the woman who just agreed that she was Kimberly. She seems to be acting as if she knows Barbara. "How're the parties? I'm kind of tempted to come over," she asks, stopping, though she doens't move to actually help Barbara out, she has keys in her hand. The interior of the Prius looks pretty clean.

Kimberly herself has her brown hair braided back, a bandage on her forehead, and two more bandaids on her cheek and side of her jaw. There's obvious bruising under the forehead bandage and around it, like she cracked her forehead on something.

Oracle has posed:
"Oh girl, let's go! Tommy said he wanted to see you again too.. He's with that scank ass bitch Sharon, but..." Babs stumbles a little closer, weaving a little as she gets nearer. "Damn girl, you look like you took a nasty one.." Mock concern raising up in her voice. If she's going to pretend like she knows her, might as well lay it on thick. See how far this thing is willing to go to cover itself, right? She still has her phone clutched in her right hand, too. For what that's worth.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok settles himself out of the way in the space between the lights dotting the night, his gaze holding suspiciously over Kimberly, drawing towards Barbara slightly as she slathers on the extra layers to her act, his head shaking ever so slightly. It would seem he's becoming suspicious of the drunk act.

Iron Man has posed:
"Yeah, my head is killing me," she agrees, with a put-upon frown and touch of palm to her head. "I was sent for ice," Kimberly says, pointing at the car, and showing the keys, as if somehow that were proof. "Wanna come with me?" She asks, hopefully, eyes skimming over to the parties then returning to Barbara with a nice smile. Totally not a 'if you get in the car you might be kidnapped' smile -- except that it sort of has an edge of that. There's a weird menace under the girl's smile.

"You wanna drive?" Kimberly offers.

Oracle has posed:
"Hell yeah I do... we need to get you to a hospital." Babs is way better at acting than this creature, inclosed spaces, particularly from a seated position? That is where Barbara Gordons are the most dangerous. "You drive... I'm way too drunk for it.." See how she's wobbling a little towards the passanger side of the vehicle, bringing up her phone as if she's checking her reflection in the glass, but in actuality keeping an eye on Kimberly behind her. "Damn, I look nightmarish.." The fact that she's also hacking the Prius' onboard smart car features aside, this is going to be one hell of a ride when things go sideways.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok's gaze shifts back to Kimberly as she makes her play. He stiffens slightly before ducking into an alley. A moment later, he's on the roof of the building she came out of, perched on the ledge, ready to pursue. As Barbara checks behind her with the phone, Amarok's lifts his hand and slowly wags his finger at her. Whether or not she can see it of course has nothing to do with whether or not she cares.

Iron Man has posed:
"A hospital? I look that bad? I feel okay," Kimberly answers, watching Barbara go around to the passenger side. And then looking past her at the window, where someone from inside is looking out through the blinds at them. Kimberly ignores that, though, or doesn't notice, and gets into the drivers' seat.

"Nightmarish? Not even a little. I have way worse nightmares," Kimberly answers, in the drivers' seat now, and turning on the car. There's a lack of seatbelt, and the car chimes annoyingly about it. Kimberly ignores it: she's fully intending to just drive.

Oracle has posed:
Comparatively, Babs buckles hers almost habitually as she slides into the passanger seat. She'd seen Amarok, but it was so very casual the way she trailed right on past him he probably thinks she missed it. She'd seen him by the shoes too. She's girl incognito over here. With a super smart phone about to wreck someones day. "I mean, you don't look /that/ bad, but you know, head injuries are deceptively bad.. and as much as we drink, amirite?" Good natured laugh, totally nonchallant about the lace of inherent kidnappy vibe that's bleeding off Kimberly beside her.

Someone once said:

You think I'm locked in here with you?

You're locked in here with me...

Iron Man has posed:
"I'm fine! Where do you think we should go? Can you pull up the way on your cell phone?" Kimberly asks, putting the car in reverse, and pulling out, if nothing stops her from doing just that. She seems to have no awareness of how much danger she may or may not be in. Without any other issues, though, she'll just pull out and drive down the street with her new friend Barbara.

Inside the house, the blinds move, as the person that looked out goes back inside out of view fully....

Oracle has posed:
"Yeah, let me pull it up." Babs thumbs over the device, both hands, to bring up directions to the nearest hospital. Side glancing at Kimberly periodically with an easy grin as if she's unaware how much danger /she/ may or may not be in.. or just not feeling like she's in much danger at all. Who even knows what happens when people come back from the dead? Grundy got pretty gnarly, maybe it's the same for Kimberlys too. "I saw Lori earlier, you two still friends?"

Amarok has posed:
Amarok straightens up a bit as the car backs out and begins it's departure. With only a blink taken for a breath, he begins his pursuit along the rooftops, moving with the ease of one who traverses the city almost exclusively via rooftop. As per Gotham City vigilante protocal.

Iron Man has posed:
"Lori? Really? Where'd you see her?" asks 'Kimberly' with a pause. Kimberly, or whatever is talking out of Kimberly's face, is /not/ an actress. There was way too much pause there, and is overly casual about the whole thing. Still, they are trying, and A for effort?

"I think we can get ice just at a gas station, I remember one maybe over here. I don't drive a lot," Kimberly says quickly, adjusting the topic towards an easier one. "Lori's a bitch, so no, we're not friends," Kimberly finishes. "Talking behind everyone's back lately, did you know?"

Kimberly looks out, as they pass the green side of Kane Park, and then abruptly pulls over near the edge of the park. And without any warning, suddenly lashes across in an attempt backhand Barbara.

Oracle has posed:
Everything is in body language. It always comes down to it.

The exagerated pause was the trigger.

Babs grins slightly and hits a button on her phone.. causing the Prius to accelerate rapidly as she veers towards the side of the park, "Should have put your belt on." If all goes well with the hack, the car will smash right towards a tree, if not, well there's options for that too.

It wont stop the woman attacking her, at any rate, but Babs isn't drunk.. and she's anything if a sorority girl. Her left arm comes up as her head tucks down, pointing a sharp elbow towards the outside of the back handing wrist while her phone, surprisingly sturdy, stabs towards the womans throat.

Iron Man has posed:
Barbara has full control of the car, and Kimberly didn't expect it to suddenly hit the gas and veer into the park: she expected it to stop like she had pushed on the brake. So the car goes exactly right for the tree, while Kimberly struggles with Barbara. She takes the hits, but there's way too much physical strength here, that Kimberly should not have.

Still, it is the car that is going to be Kimberly's problem. The impact and lack of seatbelt partially hurl Kimberly forwards as the tree is met, mostly on Barbara's front side, and Kimberly loses all grasp on Barbara as she suffers the impact, dazed.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok continues his pursuit, grumbling ever so slightly as the car pulls into the park. As it stops, he flips down off the side of the building closest the park into the shadowy alley seperating it and the building before it, catching himself with a grapplegun shot into the side of the roof to prevent slamming into the ground at just shy of terminal velocity. As he retracts the grapple and stows it back in his belt, the car suddenly screechingly accelerates toward a tree, snapping his attention to it as he begins sprinting towards the car with all pretense of stealth abandoned as it slams into the tree.

Oracle has posed:
The seatbelt yanks Babs back against the seat, but her impact chest armor eats most of the shock. So her forehead might have bounced off the airbag a little, but that'll fade. Keep your senses Barbara. The door flies open with a swift kick, but when Babs slides out of the front seat she is no longer a redhead. A button press on her neck deploys her mask, sliding and locking into place from the armor itself as she crawls to inspect the woman who just took a nose dive at the tree.

Before Kimberly has a chance to recover... god damned if that woman actually recovers... Babs unzips her hoodie to reveal her armored breast plate with the digital green bat-symbol and pulls a collapsible baton out with a snap to extend it. When she speaks, it's auto-tuned. Artificial, no longer feminine at all. "You should pick your targets better." There's no way she can straight brawl voodoo zombie Kim, but she's faster and more agile by leaps, with better armor... and armed..

Iron Man has posed:
Kimberly is laying there, against the drivers' side airbag, and doesn't seem to be awake at first. There's a vacant stare going on in Barbara's direction at first. Perhaps taking in what's going on, but maybe not.

Then Kimberly moves, pulling one arm in, orienting on her.

"Hm," says Kimberly, distant, then, and starts to try to see if she can get her door open. There isn't a fight, it appears, at the moment, unless Barbara launches into one.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok slides to a stop a few feet from the Babsman, craning his neck back and forth for a look at Kimberly in the car before giving a brief nod to the techno-knight, "Detective...Dare I ask?" He monotones as he begins cautiously circling around the side of the car.

Oracle has posed:
"She's awake." Batman says in that same tone, "But dazed. Strong. Definitely some kind of magical augmentation. I want blood samples for analysis." The Techno-Knight is a pretty cool name. It fits. Babs circles around the tree the car collid with, readying her baton in one gloved hand. "They don't have the memories of whoever they used to be. She thought I was her friend. Saw you." Just so Amarok is aware. "Good that you followed. We'll talk once this is over."

Iron Man has posed:
"I can hear you," mutters Kimberly from the front seat. Her door is really wedged, so she's pulled herself backwards some, and then lashes with one hand, breaking out the rest of the windshield, and begins to navigate coming out of the front of the car that way, over the hood. She looks remarkably uninjured, considering the impact of it all. The bandage is loose on her head, revealing a horrible head injury there, though, that isn't looking very healed so far.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok grunts back at the Babsman's explanations, "....Blood...Can do. Get a syringe ready." He says as Kimberly smashes out the window and begins crawling out. As she's about halfway out, Amarok springs at her, intent on rolling her into a rear naked choke before she can properly extricate herself and become a full blown captial Problem.

Oracle has posed:
"Good." Batman says to the Zomberly coming out the front of the car. Turning slightly to angle her phone up towards the transformer box along one of the powerlines circling the park, searching for the relay station signal. "Then you can answer some questions." The synthesized voice say, bringing the phone down to her side. "Can you see in the dark?" With a press of her thumb, she cuts power to that transformer so that the only illumination comes from the undamaged headlight and street lights connected to the transformer further down the line. "Because I can." Visual field switches to nightvision green. JUST as Amarok springs at her, so if she /can't/ see in the dark, she's in for one hell of a surprise.

Iron Man has posed:
Breathing doesn't seem to be a requirement for Kimberly, because she fights with a calculated style. It doesn't appear that she can see very well, but she's also got Amarok on her. Her strength is, again, going to be the main feat, because she's going to just try to overpower, and force the issue by lunging with the strength in her arms and legs, dragging Amarok if necessary even if she can't quite reach him.

Still, overall? All of it is hampering Kimberly a lot, but it may be clear that she's calculating, and begins to try to bash Amarok into stuff, in a blind way. The whole visual is fairly funny looking, really: this sorority girl in her blouse bodily hauling black-suited heroes around!

Amarok has posed:
Amarok hangs on like a pitbull with a steak, choked grunts escaping with each crushing impact. His only real movements being the workings of his legs to kick at the backs of her knees, and the arching of his back to try and redirect her. Kinda like bull riding, only way more hilarious.

Oracle has posed:
What was it Dan said to her a few nights prior?

"Don't die." Batman says behind the digital voice modulator. When Kimberly starts bashing at things, it's clearly with some level of disorientation from the darkness, which is precisely what Barbara wanted to know. She figures for a couple things.. the woman clearly isn't breathing so gassing her is out, there wouldn't be any circulation if she's a corpse, but she's got muscles...

Which means shocking the ever loving shit out of her will have a desired effect.

She's completely fine letting Dan take the punishment, phone going into her pocket to be replaced with a rather impressive looking tazor that is not at all sold on the consumer market. Her arm comes up casually and fires the prongs off towards the center of Zomberly's forehead, ready to let loose the punishing juice of a surprisingly high powered dose of electroshock therapy.

It isn't killing her if she's already dead.

Iron Man has posed:
Caught in the jaw by the tazer due to the quick movements --- Kimberly is zapped directly, and hard, but the tazer. She goes entirely limp, after shaking from the electrical impact, and drops -- well, into Dan's arms, entirely unconscious. And dead looking, in fact. A check of pulse will confirm her death. Not that that might be a new thing for Kimberly.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok catches the pair of them before they can entirely slump to the ground by just stepping down onto the grass as Kimberly slumps, some smoke rising off his armor for a few seconds from the shock. He quickly turns her and hefts her over his shoulder as he walks towards the Babsman, "....Nice shot...Where do you want her?" His first burst is slightly ragged, but he visibly breaths deeply before continuing, his tone evening out in the question as if nothing had happened.

Oracle has posed:
Batman steps forward while Dan is lowering Kimberly down after she received her electro-shock. "There." The Digital Knight indicates with a point at a roaring sound coming up the block. The Batmobile, a sleeker, smaller version anyways, cuts around a corner and screeches to a hault when Babs extends her phone out towards it. "There's a compartment on the back. It should hold her if she wakes up." No way is she leaving this woman just laying here and she certainly can't let the police have her until she knows if this is contagious.

Once she's loaded, provided she gets loaded, Batman flips her hood up over the mask and drops down into the open hatch. "Thanks. I'll let you know what I find out." Clearly pulling the I'm Batman and I get to keep the zombie card here. "I'll let you know what I find out."
