Holy Grail
Date of Scene:	19 October 2019
Location:	Starfire's Room, Titans Tower
Synopsis:	Grail visits Kory, whose confidence was shattered by her recent captivity.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r just sits on the bed, which was pushed tight against the window. Ever since coming back, Kory has been... different. Her confidence is shattered, and she's rather a scaredy-cat. She wouldn't even go inside a building for a week - she just stares out the window, her fear of entrapment trying to morph into full claustrophobia. She is holding the Silkie, sighing softly. "I can't fight like this..." she murmurs.

Grail has posed:
There's a sound like a cracking thunder and then outside of Kory's window a portal opens. Stepping from teh portal comes Grail, walking down the portal like it were steps on air. She looks at the window and nods a little, smiling as she spots Kory in there and lightly taps upon the window before waiting and looking around slowly at the rest of the tower. It's kinda what she remebers of it. Never understood it though. Such an odd shape.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shrieks at the thunder as her hand immediately starts glowing green. She releases the energy once she sees it's Grail. She sighs and unlocks the window, opening it. "Grail..." she whispers softly, shivering a bit. She is not the confident woman Grail met before. She just murmurs, "I owe you life-debt."

Grail has posed:
"Hardly." She states simply and hops through the window and lands, "I was hired to do a job." Grail nods her head, "Clean up an idiot's mess. Nothing more." She nods her head, "Frankly, I should go to your homeworld and destroy those who caused this...but apparently some don't like that idea." SHe snickers a little and looks to the side before looking back at Kory, "However, you seem...different." SHe nods her head, "And I'm not sure why. Surely you can't still be upset?"

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shakes her head. "I'm... just..." She sighs softly. "I haven't recovered yet. I was imprisoned from age 10 to 15. It was unspeakable. Ever since, I've been terrified of... entrapment. And being dragged back to Tamaran in chains - I..." She lowers her head and is actually crying a bit.

Grail has posed:
A blink and she stares at Kory before looking confused. For...Grail there have been problems in life but being, what is for all intents, basically a goddess means she skipped a lot of those fear moments. She walks up to Kory and kneels down in front of her, looking at her face, "Why...do you cry? You are strong and powerful." SHe nods her head, "I have seen it. You should not fear these people." SHe nods and clenches her fist, "You should crush them!" She nods again before grinning, "Do not waste tears upon them."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r whispers, "I'm not strong. I am weak. I had an illusion of strength on top of a scared lonely little girl who misses her dead parents. I was able to even trick myself. Lobo's chains shattered the mirage. I don't know how to rebuild it." She just slumps, clinging tightly to you. "I'm in no condition to fight."

Grail has posed:
A blink as she has Kory hugging her and she looks into the distance, "I do not understand..." She states softly and then pats Kory and hugs her, "...but I do not wish to see you like this." She shakes her head and then pushes her back a little, "Do you wish me to break Lobo again?" She asks and tilts her head, "I will find him and drag him back here for you to hurt if you wish?"

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shakes her head. "No. I..." She sighs softly. "I know I shouldn't be like this. But I can't help it." She sighs softly. "I just need some time to recover. I just..." She shakes her head. "I know I've been affected far more than I should... can you help me get back to myself?"

Grail has posed:
A blink and Grail nods her head, "I...can try?" She asks and then tilts her head, "What do you need?" She looks around slowly and pulls back a little from Kory, to look at her face, "I am...not trained for or good at this sort of thing, Kory. I have not known fear..." She frowns and looks down before looking up to Kory, "What can I do for you?"

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r murmurs, "How do you live without fear?" She looks at you. "I... I don't understand how one lives without fear. Normally I hid any of my insexurities around the persona I built but... that's gone."

Grail has posed:
A blink and then she considers that a moment, "I am...not sure." She looks to Kory and then looks back out, "I just never felt it. I am..." She shrugs and looks ot Kory, "I am indestructible, Kory. I'm not sure I can even die." She states and then looks at Kory, "I am not even sure anyone can truly hurt me. It is hard to be afraid in that case. Plus, until recently I cared about ilttle other than my mission." She frowns and looks down a moment before looking up, "This is..." She stands up and steps away from Kory, "I do not know what to do to help you but...I will find out, Kory."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r murmurs, "Can you stay with me tonight?" she asks softly. "Maybe... I can observe you, and learn from you. I just have to get myself back together." She smiles faintly. "Please?"

Grail has posed:
A confused look out the window and then Grail looks back at Kory. She looks at Kory and walks back to her and nods, "I can do that..." She nods her head as she looks at her, "I will do that for you at least."
