Cast of Characters: Red Hood, Oracle, Doctor Strange, Iron Man
Tinyplot: Coventry Murders

Red Hood has posed:
Yep, Jason was back again, this time with another Bat in tow, and a van. Yeah, it's possible the whole bit about keeping a low profile while visiting might have been lost on him. Either that or the circumstances demanded immediate action.

Getting out of the van, Jason glance back at Babs, "I'll go first let him know what's going on."

Then he's off heading up the stairs, he's at least not wearing his helmet, just the domino mask, for the sake of anyone outside who might be watching. At the door he raises his hand, and moves to knock expecting the door to open like it did for Carrie when he'd been here earlier that evening,

Oracle has posed:
Babs, likewise, isn't wearing her helmet, but she does have the hood of her hoodie beneath her leather jacket up over her red hair as she climbs out of the passanger side of the van and heads around to the back to check on sleeping beauty. "Just let me know and send someone down here to help me carry her." A pair of shades actually do a fairly good job of hiding her identity, jacket zipped up over the front of her chest armor.

It's probably dark, but not late. Bats don't move around during the day.

Doctor Strange has posed:
The doors do open but this time, it's not an empty hallway. This time, it's a rather surly looking wizard with the full cloak billowing off his shoulders with a collar that could make Spawn blush. The wizard is wearing his blue tunic over a pair of simple looking black docker pants with a carefully ironed crease down the legs.

His arms are crossed before his chest, hiding the black spots fading into a pair of worn leather gloves making the transition from glove to sleeve impossible to follow. "At least it's dark this time but you do realize, I'm a wizard, not a surgeon any more, right?" Stephen says with a sigh as he steps out and past Jason without an introduction to move towards the van. "What's the issue?" Stephen asks.

Iron Man has posed:
<<OOC note: Tony is GMing the corpse. YAY. >>

If either of the young Bats were concerned for the welfare of their corpse, she doesn't appear to be deteriorating. That is, perhaps, one of the only indications that she's still not dead-dead, but in the almost-dead category. There are a few other tells, such as that she's difficult to poke with needles, and has no rigor mortis. She's in some strange limbo place between recently dead and fully dead.

Red Hood has posed:
"Will do," Jason says to Babs before heading out of the van. At the door and in the face of the disgruntled wizard, he offers a weak smile. "I know, I know, but in this case Doc this might be more your speed, she might be dead already, and a little possessed."

You know, just a little.

"Anyhow, it's bad Doc, not just for her but the other patient we were here discussing we need to get to the bottom of this," he opens the back door of the van. "And we may need a bit of help getting her inside on the QT."

Oracle has posed:
Babs is standing against the back of the van with her arms crossed, one foot up up so her heel hooks the bumper, and her shoulders leaning in on the doors. Her head cants every now and again to gaze over at where Jason went, then to the street whenever a car passes. Not at all shady situation, nope. Black clothing, hoods, black van.. What could possibly go wrong.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Moving towards the van, Stephen looks over towards Jason behind him and furrows his eyebrows. "If she's dead, how do you know she's possessed?" The wizard asks before he stops at the back of the van and stares down Barbara as she seems to be acting the cool cat, or bat, at the back of the van.

With a glance towards Jason, "She doesn't look very dead to me..." Stephen says, as Babs seems to be quite healthy and standing on her own. Then before any response, Stephen continues, "I assume the victim is in the back." towards Barbara, waiting for someone to open the van and get these super heroes out of his neighborhood before the nosey neighbors start to complain. Again.

Red Hood has posed:
"Oh she was talking," Jason says about how they know she's possessed. "So, guess she might only be mostly dead, but I'll leave that for you to decide Doc, most of the dead people I run into stay that way."

Jason's mask hides the actual rolling of his eyes, but it's all there in his body language as he opens the door. "Yeah, in here," he says gesturing at Kim laid out and restrained in the back of the van.,

Oracle has posed:
Babs raises a brow beneath her hood and pushes off the bumper with a hand on the handle, twisting and pulling it open as she does. "She was mostly dead before, then she wasn't, then she was mostly dead again... and then she wasn't." Hood turns to regard Jason, "Right now she's in a mostly dead, I tasered in the forehead, rest period.."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen gives a look to Barbara as she kind of vaguely explains the situation while Jason does the same in his own manner and it dawns on Stephen, is this what he tends to sound like. God. How insufferable. Stephen shakes his head and then looks down into the van and sighs. "Figured Princess Bride was too old for you kids." Stephen says idly as he leans into the now open van and goes to run his hand over the forehead and face of the 'deceased' a small orange spell hidden beneath his palm as if he's scanning her with a tricorder or something nerdy. "I think it best if we relocate her inside."

Iron Man has posed:
Not only does the spell reveal there's some entity there, but it's probably conscious and listening to everything that's going on. Or maybe it's just present and taking a snooze? It's hard to tell when the body is purely acting corpse-like. Still, there is definitely a dark spirit of some kind directly under Dr. Strange's hand.

Waiting....

Red Hood has posed:
"Yeah, a ton of voltage is about the only thing that puts her down," Jason follows up before grinning. "Our butler makes sure we keep up on the classics," he says with a smirk that suggests he's joking about the whole butler business.

"And sure, if there's no one around to see it, I can move it," he says ducking into the van to grab up Kim and take her inside.

Oracle has posed:
"You sure we can't do it right here in the back of the van?" Babs asks the kind of prickly wizard with no small amount of snark to her tone, "I'll give you a hand." She says to Jason, climbing up into the back of the van with him to take hold of Kim with an arm under each of the other woman's, though 'corpses' hands remain bound by fairly impressive thick titanium bindings.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Even if no one is around, Stephen makes sure they wont be remembered or noticed. The wizard has his methods.

"Do you want to be inside a small van with no room to work if she IS possessed?" Stephen asks rhetorically. And yep, he's back to being his vague sort of self.

The inside of the sanctum is much smaller than Jason remembers the other day, as this time, the front doors open to what look like an operating room, tiled walls and sterile colors with a large blank table in the middle. Stephen motions, "Set her there, then I'll get to work really finding out what's inside." He says as he starts to motion with both his hands, odd gestures that seem like childs play cause a single circle of orange light to grow out from his hands. He's going to scan deeper.

Iron Man has posed:
When they get inside the sanctum, Kim the corpse seems to wake up. Her eyes open and she looks around quickly and alertly, taking in all of the various sights around her: the people, and Dr. Strange himself. There's no indication of recognition on her expression: she's not moving other than to use her eyes to look about, checking what's going on. All three of those who have her, though, are sharp people and will notice that she's looking, no doubt.

And Kim's smart enough to know that. "Are you going to kill me?" Kim asks. She's a pretty 20-something female, with dark brown braided hair, a big forehead bruise, and a variety of taser burns.

Red Hood has posed:
Jason easily hauls Kim out of the van and up to the Sanctum, stepping inside he lets out a low whistle, "Do love that about your place Doc, so accomodating," as Jason well knows from the hot tub incident. Despite his cavalier attitude, to well just about everything, Jason puts Kim down with some care, then steps back and smirks.

"Probably doesn't bear mentioning, but don't believe her Doc, she'll offer anything, hell, she offered us a threesome when we first started questioning her."

Oracle has posed:
Babs glances at Stephen as the pair of her and Jason deposit Zomberly down on the operating table. She takes one whole step back while the magic man does his magical thing, tucking the tips of her fingers into the back pocket of her black cargo pants. "Fair warning, she's full of an over-abundance of shit." Nodding towards Jason mirroring her expression with a grin. A tight expression now that Kim is talking again. The heavy duty looking pistol like taser is right there on her hip along with a far more permanent death dealing pistol on the other. Otherwise, she's ignoring the formally pretty girl with a look to Strange, "I have a ton of video footage proving the woman is some kind of super charged fiend, but I'm guessing you're going to use the Force or some shit, so... I'll be over here... out of the way."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"You didn't buy her sudden urge to fornicate?" Stephen says with a deadpan glance towards Jason before he looks back to Babs and down towards the side arms she's carrying. With the spell still between him at the partially deceased, Strange looks to Barbara and Jason one last time. "I will give you my name demon if you will give me yours." The wizard says, putting a hint of magical power behind his words as he faces down towards Kim.

Iron Man has posed:
"It's still not off the table," Kimberly says, in regard to the threesome, answering Dr. Strange. She narrows her eyes at him as he gets into her face, and examines the magic visually. She doesn't appear to have a lot of recognition of what it is: either she's fearless, a good actress, or doesn't entirely know what he's doing. Or a mixture.

"I'm Kimberly Hale; please let me go," Kim asks, though her heart (such as it is) doesn't seem to really be in it. "I'm just following orders. Okay? Okay. I don't need your name, cleric."

Red Hood has posed:
Jason's lips pull into another of his smirks, "Shocking, huh?" he says about not buying the ruse, before his expression takes on a more serious cast as he looks to Kim. "See what we mean though?" he asks, a nod given to Babs, "She'll say anything. So, hoping you can get us some answers that don't involve wading through bullshit to get."

Oracle has posed:
Babs stays well away from the magic, she's done all the questioning she can at this point. Now it's Stranges turn to delve into the whys and hows of some dead woman standing up and going crazy super soldier on her.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Anything?" Stephen asks of Jason before he grows almost a snarl but the shakes it from his face. "You know your superiors yes... Who is the highest demon. One that can make things happen. The deal maker." Stephen demands. As he sneaks a look to Barbara, as she might know where he's going with it. "I need a way to save a life but my hands are damaged..." Stephen says and then adds, "I beseech thee as the Sorcerer Supreme. Tell me before I banish thee to unspeakable horrors."

Iron Man has posed:
Kimberly's eyes stay narrowed at first, as if she were following what he wanted, then she gets puzzled. Something about the line of questioning, to her, is off. "My lady doesn't make deals," scoffs Kimberly, but there's discomfort there. "She'll fill the empty shell you're trying to save when it's dead, with more of us," Kimberly says. "Maybe me. Banish me back? She'll bring me here again," challenges Kimberly.

Kimberly doubts a little: after all, she hasn't done very well, she might not be chosen again. "So you should just let me go."

Oracle has posed:
Babs glances over at Stephen and cranes her head slightly, picking up what he's putting down as she looks back to the demon infused sorority girl. "Why dont you let her speak for herself? Seems a bit presumptive for a hanger on.. maybe having a favor from the Sorcerer Supreme is /precisely/ the kind of thing she'd be keen on, eh? Unless being the cream filling in a donut grants you the authority to speak for your mistress..." Leather clad, armored shoulders bounce upwards, "One way or another, we're talking to her.. You sure you want to roll the bones on how the ends play out with regards to pissing off the woman who actually can lay hands on you?"

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange talks to Barbara with his eyes alight with power while looking directly at Kim. "Her lady isn't enough. Too minor. I need the one above her, and likely the one above that one." Stephen says with a sort of scoff in his voice. "This demon is too small to even bother banishing back to it's own realm. No, you I wouldn't send you home. I'll make sure you live, but you wouldn't be anywhere any of your kind could reach." Stephen says with a motion of his hand, pulling it back as if he was about to strike Kim through his own spell. Would that activate the exorcism spell?

Iron Man has posed:
"He doesn't know about this!" spits Kim really quickly, finally jerking back. She's not entirely sure that Strange can't banish her to a weird dimension. "I don't know what to tell you. I'm with my lady. That's all. What do I need to do?"

"I can't even contact her, you people left my phone in the back of my car---" Kim tries a few other tactics, as well. None of them, though, really get far. After all, that phone was taken by police, so Kim has no way to prove any of her stories.

No way at all.

Unfortunately, there's little Kim can do, and while the interview continues, it ends in her banishment. The corpse immediately collapses, and begins to properly decay, much like it should have in the first place. A grim encounter, with more grim meanings.
