Cast of Characters: Red Hood, Carrie Kelley, Spoiler, Red Robin, Huntress, Robin (Wayne)

Red Hood has posed:
Wonder of wonders, Jason had spent two nights in a row at Wayne Manor, the rain of frogs and all the other signs of the apocolypse must be sure to follow. As Jason is happy to tell anyone who asks, he slept in the guest room as if it made all the difference, as if somehow using his own room would be giving up some valuable ground in his eternal war with Bruce.

However the kitchen was fair game, especially when Alfred was away.

So as evening approaches, it finds Jason barefoot in jeans and a t-shirt rumaging in the family fridge.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley had been staying here for far longer than two days. Then again all of her stuff was moved in at the beginning of the last month. It took her awhile to settle in but she finally had. While unaware, a bit, that jason was raiding the fridge it was that time of the evening where such things were in demand. Entering the kitchen herself wearing her casual clothes of sweatpants and a hoodie, she stares at Jason a moment with a smirk.

"Anything good in there?" She inquires even as she knows the answer. "There's a pot of soup toward the back that he made the other night. Should still have plenty left, just need to reheat."

Spoiler has posed:
A Batcycle came zooming down the underground drive from the hidden entrance, pulling into the Batcave. Batgirl parked it and performed a little maintenance before turning it over to the automated systems that tend to the vehicles.

A hot shower was welcome, after which Stephanie Brown changed into some jeans and a t-shirt from last year's Gotham University homecoming festival. She makes her way up the stairs, only one at a time which means she's tired.

Emerging into the manor, Stephanie makes her way towards the kitchen. Hearing voices ahead, she calls into the room, "I hope everyone's decent. If not, close your eyes I'm coming in."

The blonde moves into the room. "Hey Carrie. Jason," she says, moving over to wrap an arm about Carrie's shoulders in a side-hug if allowed, before letting her go. "Breakfast tacos. Need. Breakfast. Tacos," she says, moving over to the fridge to see what's inside.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake has come by to check and see how things are back here. He may not live in the mansion any more either, but he does make a point to come check on things. And coming in through the kitchen exit, he will blink a bit at seeing everyone here "If Jason is cooking, I can order Pizza or Chinese." He will quip a bit. He does move to lean on the bar seeing what they are up to.

Red Hood has posed:
Jason puts his rummaging on pause to look up and smile when Carrie comes in after him, "Well the answer to that depends on our joint cooking skills..." Jason begins before Carrie brings up the soup. "Hey, just my speed," he laughs, ducking back into the fridge too look for it.

"Hey. Ow!" Jason greets Steph as she breezes in and he hits his head on a rack in the fridge, before coming out with the soup. When Steph makes a go for the fridge, he steps aside, saying, "Hey if you're making them I'm game."

Tim's entrance and little joke is met with a laugh. "Ouch Tim, and I was going to apologize to you about Carrie's parents too," he says with a grin flashed Carrie's way.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley wraps her arm around Steph in that quick hug when she's greeted in such a friendly way. It was always good when such things happened. Usually meant everyone was in a good mood. Grinning warmly she chuckles. "Hey Steph. There's a few things in the fridge I'm sure we can put soemthing suitable together."

When Jason asks about her cooking skills she merely shrugs with a wry grin. "I know how to cook a few things. I did live mostly by myself after all. Though Damian didn't seem to really enjoy my tuna mac and cheese." Probably because he wasn't a real fan of cheese in general. IT had been fun to watch him try it though.

"Hey Tim," she greets as well while moving to regard the fridge, then the cupboards, before just grabbing herself a drink. Just in time for Jason to mention her parents earning a groan of horror. "Oh man don't even..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake 's brow raises and he looks over at the others and says "Apologize for her parents?" He looks between the two a bit lost, and says "Ok, I think I missed something want to catch me up on what has happened?"

Spoiler has posed:
Stephanie grins to Jason, poking his ribs. She does seem in a good mood. When she gets into the fridge, she pulls out chorizo, cheese, and eggs. They are set by the stovetop and then she grabs some tortillas. No potatoes. Because potatoes in breakfast tacos are un-American. And un-Mexican. Pretty much un-everyone who eats breakfast tacos. Or they should be.

Stephanie gets things started up cooking on the stove. "If you want any of these, sing out now. I failed to get any good leads on Electrocutioner, so I'm drowning sorrows. Though, think it went well when I stopped to check on Isley," she says.

Huntress has posed:
Even an extremely dedicated woman like Helena knew she needed a break now and then from the vigilante alter-ego work. So when she decided to pay a visit to the manor, she did so in the 'casual' way. Well, casual for her, as it involved driving up in her expensive sports car. She was a teacher by profession after all, if anyone did learn of the visit they'd likely assume she was there to help the assortment of younger individuals that also populated the Manor.

It comes at little surprise that when she does locate several of them, it's in the kitchen. "I suppose it is to be expected most people would be thinking with their stomachs at this hour."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian returned to the mansion, not as a denizen if the Bat Family, but as Damian Wayne, interim chairman of Wayne Enterprises. His hair was slicked back, still in the sharp suit he had made for just such occasion.

His shoes clapped on the marble entry of stately Wayne Manor, announcing his arrival. The limo dropped him off at the mansion like it had every weekday these past weeks.

Pale green eyes scan over the persons in the kitchen, nodding as he grabbed the tea he kept hidden in a low cabinet. "Kelley, Brown, Todd, Huntress, Drake." He says in as much greeting as he usually gives. Though as he says Tim's last name, he snickers. Memories of the Chinese restaurant vividly playing back in his head. The snicker turns to a full laugh, almost evil sounding. "Did you tell him?" He nudges at Jason as Damian put the kettle on.

Red Hood has posed:
Jason grins, "Hey, I live alone and I mostly get take out," he replies to Carrie. Though it seems Steph has the cooking portion of the evening cover and so Jason simply steps aside to let her work, grinning at the poke in the ribs, before offering, "You went to go see the plant lady?"

Carrie's reaction to the thing about her parents has Jason snapping his fingers in mock frustration, Jason eyes Carrie's drink and laughs. "Damn if I held that shot a couple moments longer I could have gotten a spit take," he says before ducking around her to get a drink for himself. He cracks the can, and then with a guilty little 'Alfred check', hops up to sit on the counter.

A nod is given as Helena joins them but Damian's arrival recieve a full smirk as he launches into the story.

"Well, Damian, Carrie and I were getting Chinese when Carrie's parents came in. Well, I figured for shits and giggles I'd put my arm around Carrie and kiss her cheek like we were an item and I guess because of the stuff in the news they thought I was you and then..." he lets that hang a moment, smirking. "I was very me," he looks to Carrie and Damian to see if that fit, before he continues. "There may have been some 'I did it with your daughter' looks thrown their way and maybe a mention of cosplay sex?" he says like he doesn't remember every word. "Anyhow," he says trading the can between hands, Jason extends his now empty hand to Tim. "Sorry, they'll figure it out if they actually meet you," then with a small frown adds, "If they remember at all."

Spoiler has posed:
Stephanie Brown smiles over to Helena as she comes in. "Making breakfast tacos. Speak up now if you want... oh Lord, Damian too!?" she says as she spots Damian in a suit. Stephanie stops what she's doing, pulls out her phone and immediately snaps a photo. "Might be the only chance to do that," she says with a teasing grin she flashes at him.

Stephanie goes back to work on breakfast. It doesn't take long to scramble eggs and brown the chorizo, and warm the tortillas, and soon she is serving up bowls of both, with the cheese. People can make their own at the table. There's picante sauce for those who want it.

Stephanie grabs her own first. "Cook needs to keep from fainting," she says to the first person who looks like they might give her a hard time over it. She takes a bite while returning to make more eggs and chorizo. "So Carrie, what'd your parents have to say about it?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley leans against the counter while tipping back her soda for a long chug. Ugh. Somehow it didn't taste as sweet as it should given the bitter topic being discussed. Her face had flushed a healthy shade of red that was impossible to hide with her pale skin, so she just crosses her arm and looks, well, cross. Helena is given a nod and a thoughtful glance, at least until Damian's arrival. "Aaah, that's you then," she puts together with a quick grin. "Hey."

Then Jason starts with the explanations earning a groan. "IF they remember? You're rich, of course they remember!"

She pauses a moment as if considering something long and hard. Then without a word she fishes her hand into her pocket to withdraw her phone. A few quick punches to the surface, then she thrusts it out toward Stephanie. "See what they did to me!?"

The screen displays a series of texts apparently from one or the other of her parents. She does add, "Totally want breakfast tacos, bee tee dub."

Huntress has posed:
"Oh, did I interrupt story time too?" Helena simply crosses her arms, listening. For the most part remaining stoic, but only mostly. A nod is briefly given to Damien as he enters shortly after she did.

As once Jason finishes she does smirk just the faintest bit. "I am not sure if I should scold you, or congratulate you on a well-played prank." She is so not going to ask about the 'cosplay sex' part though. That could possibly get weird, even with all the time a lot of them do spend in colorful tight fitting costumes...

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian waited to put the cherry on top of Jason's story, just when Jason mentions the cosplay sex. "Boom." Is all he says before he goes off in a full cackle, sprinkling his loose tea in the teapot.

A chime rings from his jacket, and his Prometheus phone was removed, looking over the message that was sent to him. "Fox runs a tight ship. The biggest thing the company is worrying about is the stock prices after..." He trails off, he only heard of the news in the last day. Damian wasn't sure how Bruce did it. But he pulled through. Somehow, that elevated Batman a couple rungs in his book.

The immediate snapshot of Gordon Gekko Jr. (Damian) has him give what is quite possibly the slickest most photogenic smile he has ever given a photograph, even with a set of finger guns pointed at the camera. "It will last you longer." He comments, immediately going back to his natural state: slightly surly and totally not the person who he was outside these walls without a mask.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will look at Jason, and as he listens to the story he pinches the bridge of his nose. He looks to Jason and the hand and reaches out to tell him "Pay back will be hell, just remember you started it." He smirks a bit at him. He looks over to Damian oh so tempted with a comeback for him, but looks over to Carrie a moment, and does not say it. He will instead says "If you want we can take them out sometime, and explain about my brother who escaped from the mental hospital and you were looking out for till I could get in town.

Spoiler has posed:
Stephanie takes the phone when Carrie offers it, taking a bite of her breakfast taco. She nearly chokes as she reads it, trying to laugh and swallow at the same time.

She ends up grabbing a soda from the fridge to clear her throat, though even that is at risk of a spit take as she is still laughing. Finally she's able to talk normally.

"Oh this is precious," Stephanie says. She reads aloud from the phone:

"We're happy you've found someone special, dear, but I hope you understand that we're a bit concerned. You are being safe, right? Remember, it's very important to not sign any prenups!"

Stephanie breaks out in more laughter and then passes the phone back to Carrie. "Hey at least they are looking out for you," she says with a warm laugh.

Red Hood has posed:
Damian's boom has Jason melting down into gails of laughter. "Oh god, forgot about that." He extends a fist Damian's way and if Damian bumps it or not, he explodes it with a "Boom."

As for Tim, Jason settles down some and grins at the threat. "Only fair," he says of the payback, seemingly welcoming the challenge.

Carrie's comment gets him to open his mouth for a retort but he holds off, Steph's text clarifies what sort of rich she was talking about. "Probably a little of both," he says to Helena as he moves over the stove to peek at Carrie's phone. "They really sent that?" he asks.

Huntress has posed:
You have family to look out for you girl, cherish it.

At least that's Helena's thought to herself. She's not going to say it out loud and bring the moment down. Because honestly they all probably need the bit of light-heartedness. Instead she nods and shrugs her shoulders a little. "Both is acceptable. He'll probably take care of making you regret it." She's doing really good at not just outright laughing herself.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian reaches out and reciprocates the "Boom." Continuing to laugh.

The reading of text messages has Damian musing as he pours the water into the teapot. "They say do not sign a prenup, but encourage you to use contraceptives. The only logical explanation for that would be that hey fear Todd has an STI. Judging by the actions he gave, I would suggest they believe he has syphilis, and is losing control of his mental faculties."

Yes, he just posited that Jason has a sexual disease. No he isn't apologizing, yes he throws a little side eye towards Jason over it. Equal opportunity shade.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"That..." Carrie begins only to trail off at Damian's remark with a frown. With Jason coming over to sneak a peek at her phone she reaches out to snag it back clucking her tongue reproachfully. "I think they were talking the prenup as being the 'safe' part, Damian. You saw how they were dressed." Here she pauses, fidgeting a bit, and takes another gulp off her soda with a backward tip of her head.

"But sure, we'll explain Jason's insanity with that," she adds with a teasing grin. If they could make fun of her she could tease back. Even Helena trying not to laugh gets a look, and a deeper grin. "It's okay to laugh. I mean if it were anyone other than me, I'd be doing the same," she admits with a chuckle of her own. Besides that, everyone needed a bit of amusement. If it was at her expense so be it.

"Anyway, food!" she declares as she tries to snag one of those breakfast tacos.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will move to get himself a cup of coffee, and moves to one of the corners of the room to lean and watch the room. As he does it, he smirks a bit chuckling to himself about something as he sips his coffee, looking over to the others and says "So, you guys think we can get thanksgiving dinner brought in to give Alfred the day off, or you think he would beat us for thinking about it.

Spoiler has posed:
Stephanie finishes up at the stove, bringing the last of the food over and then settling into a chair to make herself another breakfast taco. "It's a good thing Alfred isn't here. He'd probably grab you by the ear, Damian," she tells him.

"Speaking of Alfred, he was spot on with the help he gave me. Asked for help picking out some kind of plant that Isley would appreciate. Decided to play Good Bat with her this time, first time meeting her," Stephanie says.

She takes a bite of her food, chewing it thoughtfully. "You know, I kind of liked her. Too bad she's just so... what's the word I'm looking for? Homicidal? I mean not that she's wanting to kill people she just is fine with it. WAY too fine with it."

Red Hood has posed:
There's a smirk to Helena as he looks at Tim over the rim of his pop can, "Probably right," he says easily about Tim's immenent revenge. "But hey, I'll make the best of the time I have left."

He takes a long swig of the pop before setting it aside to make a grab for Carrie's phone, he checks the message but only that, before it's snatched away. Good thing or he might have replied.

The surprise shade from Damian takes Jason by surprise for a beat before he grins at Damian and at Carrie when she joins in, "Syphilis, please. It's called Todd 2409 and so far only I have it," he supplies with a sagely nod of the head and a bit of burn seppuku on himself.

Then he moves on to food and Isley.

"Any other day, Alfred would murder you for thinking it, but I remember the way he looked when I came home, if there's someone who needs a break," and he was aware he was in the middle of a room full of overworked vigilantes. "It's him."

"That does seem to be such a sticking point with you guys," he says of homocide, joining in the conversation on Isley. Then the earlier part catches up to him. "Wait you brought Pammy a gift? We do still fight badguys in Gotham, right?"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian poured the tea, taking a sip. He didn't understand what he did wrong. Though the look of slight confusion didn't stay long on his face.

He agreed with Jason, much like he disagreed with Bruce on it. "Homicide has its uses. Like..." SIIIP, yes. Damian managed to stop himself before he spilled the beans.

"Apparently not, apparently we give them tulips and such. What's next? Give the Joker a chemistry set?" Dodge it, Damian. Make them forget what you said.

Huntress has posed:
"Alfred is always pulling more than his weight around here when a crisis hits. If anyone deserves a break..."

Helena helps herself to one of the breakfast tacos. She's not particularly hungry, but a vigilante learns to eat when the oppritunity is to be had more often than actual hunger.

She briefly gives Damian a silent 'I heard that' look but she really can't comment. Because she's not exactly the best person on that topic. Huntress' hands aren't exactly bloodless, and while she's gotten better over the years she's still got a temper that can get the best of her.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley successfully pilfers a taco, and keeps Jason from messing around on her phone past seeing that one text. Thankfully. Not that there was anything incriminating on it anyway. "I'm okay with getting dinner sent in. I wouldn't know where to look, but I imagine it's a thing. Right?" The topic of killing garners a few reproachful glances, but nothing is said otherwise. No, that was not a good topic to get on.

"I need to get some more cramming in for a test next week. You guys be good."

Spoiler has posed:
Stephanie leans back in her chair and casts a baleful eye Jason Todd's way. "Channel Island's in my patrol area. And that's where Bruce lets her stay. Ok, made her stay. She's got a block to herself and hasn't caused any problems. She's rather be there than Arkham. Now I could drop by and be all, scowl scowl frown and scowl. But yeah, like I'm going to loom over her?"

Stephanie takes another bite. "I'll kick her ass if it's needed. But as long as she's playing nice? I'm not going to mess that up. Besides I wanted to get a good look inside before I just show up in there sometime."
