Quicksilver has posed:
Metropolis. 3:00pm.

Everything was going so well. A football game was happening at the Shuster Sports arena....until bombs started going off in the audience. twenty gunment were making a play for a billionaire that happened to be in attendance. The billionaire being a famous actor that was about to be held at gunpoint and demanded a lump sum be deposited in a specific account, likely a Swedish one.

Pietro was nearby when he heard gunfire. He started moving at high speeds, dressed in his uniform and not slowing down for a moment, he takes cover behind one of the pillars so he can get a lay of the land.

No doubt this would also get the attention of a certain Kryptonian badass...

Power Girl has posed:
Karen wasn't exactly a massive football fan, the game wasn't quite something she understood...but it hadn't really been part of her education. She might not be found in the crowd...but that gunfire and explosions caught her senses.

High above and resting in the beautiful warmth of the sun in the outer atmosphere, there was a widening of her eyes at the noises of terror and then in a bare moment she was vanishing away from the beauty of the void to sweep towards the arena from the sky.

Karen comes in like a wrecking ball! Though she's not capable of instantaneous travel, so it gives Pietro some time in the limelight. He immdiately blitzkriegs five gunmen, all on the same level without alerting the gunmen on the upperlevels. After making sure people were at least okay, he calls the police and gets back to work, hiding behind another column.

He exhales slowly.

He has to be stealthy about this. If he was still brotherhood, these guys could've killed everyone in here and Pietro wouldn't have given a damn. But he cares so much. He's changed. He became an Avenger.

And now he has Kryptonian backup. Karen can see that she has about 15 gunmen that she can either distract or outright bring the fight to.

Power Girl has posed:
Karen's speed was impressive, but it didn't have the same concessions as some other speedsters. Accelerating too quick could cause a sonic boom, announcing she was here and probably hurting quite a few people. Of course, she had more than enough power that she could anihilate these gunmen, but she wasn't one for lethal force either...it required a more finesseable approach. A breath, a dash, a sudden punch. One of the men was out cold and then caught by his shirt before he could hit the ground.

Karen was hardly the most stealthy of combatants most of the time, but fortunately they hadn't thought to look 'up' yet.

Straightening up, there's a sudden tilt of her head as she hears the familier rush of a certain speedster, bringing a smile to her lips. He'd spot her eventually, for now? The Kryptonian takes a deep breath and strides forward before she blurs forwards to begin her assault on the other men. She couldn't go super-sonic fast, but most people still couldn't react to supercar speeds in their face in time!

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro did indeed see Karen come out of the sky like a speeding bullet and take out a gunman. She was such a fast flyer that other gunmen only feel a strong breeze and since it was already windy, they pay very little mind to it. Though one of the gunmen look like they're going to notice the Kryptonian who dresses revealingly! She's very not subtle!

Thankfully though, Pietro takes out two men with superfast punches, moving them behind cover, where he returns...but now a gunmen might notice him.

"Nikolai? Jackson?" The gunmen who sounds no more than twenty-five states as he looks around. "Come on guys, stop dicking around!" Now's Karen's chance!

Meantime, Pietro blows a kiss to Karen.

Power Girl has posed:
In the 'slowness' of a world percieved in hyperspeed, Pietro would actually see Karen flash him a wink...for the rest of the world? There was a white and red blur before the new gunman is suddenly grabbed, gagged with a hand over his mouth and then 'tapped' over the head. Unconciousness wasn't great for people's health, but it was better than death and Power Girl didn't exactly look like she was carrying handcuffs in that outfit.

With a man down she turns her senses outwards, trying to peer through the concrete, metal and otherwise to locate the hostages further in and take stock of the gunmen. "If I can get them looking at me, can you get those people out?" she speaks, hoping Pietro is weaving close enough to hear her.

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro remains in cover after Power Girl does her thing, then she's over by him, or rather, him over by here. "That depends."

On what?

"Are you coming to bed tonight?" Ooookay Pietro making a dirty joke to his girlfriend all in the spirit of attempting to be a funny boyfriend, but is he being serious or is he just playing with her (snickers)?

Power Girl has posed:
     A blink, a raise of her eyebrow and then a roll of her eyes. "Ever the charmer," she teases back before rolling her shoulders. "Is this really the time?" Still, the blonde Kryptonian didn't seem offended, instead she simply offers one last flick of a wink before she leaps into action. Crashing through the wall and making a big show of her arrival was rather deliberate; she wanted people to be looking and -shooting- at her, but her eyes sweep and there's a flash of heat vision as she attempts to blast the weapons out of some of the attacker's hands.

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro looks at Karen as she speaks with him as he locks eyes with her. "Kinda, yeah. I'll even rent a romantic comedy." The sacrifices he makes for love!...making. But still love! When she winks at him and flies through a wall, thus drawing all eyes to her....ACTUAL EYES, because she's freakin' Power Girl and nobody would be caught dead lookin' down there!

"Holy shit, its Power Girl! take her out!" They all start firing off their machine guns at her. Just five left anyway, one of them moves into the backroom and take sthe actor hostage, intending to use him as a incentive to not get put into custody.

Pietro gets moving immediately after the guns start firing. Power Girl takes out two of the gunmen's weapons with her heat vision, allowing Pietro to use his super speed and not even be seen by the naked eye (but Karen can see him just fine) and thus, there are now only three! Pietro punches one of the gunmen and throws the second-to- last one at Karen for the takedown.

One left.

Power Girl has posed:
They always do. The gun fires, the bullets slam against Kryptonian flesh and they barely cause her to blink. People -knew- Superman was bulletproof, they tended to know -she- was bulletproof too...but they always still tried it anyway! Oh well. By the time his gun is clicking try? PG was advancing on him menacingly, reaching out a hand to crush the barrel of the weapon for no reason other than to really punctuate how outmatched the mook was. What was the point if you didn't have a little fun with this sort of thing anyway?

Her hand comes out, lifting the man up into the air and simply tossing him across the room into a wall before she exhales and turns to look towards Pietro, dusting off her hands. "I'm not big on romantic comedies. More of a sci-fi fan myself."

The girl -was- an alien who'd been raised and worked in a lab after all! Touching her earring, the triggered 'call' to the cops to signal for them to move in was selected and began to broadcast, but she was already moving. "I'm going to check for more bombs, just to be certain. Check these people over and then...my place or yours?" She doesn't wait for an answer, but odds are she'd hear it even as she takes to the sky once more.

Power Girl is freaking terrifying to her enemies. Pietro just watched a man get thrown across the freaking room and get embedded into a wall! Is he dead? No, not quite yet. Pietro though whistles before he looks back at Power Girl. "Sci-Fi? I can dig that. We thinkin' Star Trek? I haven't watched Voyager yet."

Pietro smirks though when she asks him if he wants his place or hers, Pietro smiles. "Ohhh your place. Might as well, right?" Pietro smiles as she flies off, knowing full well she heard him.

WIth that said, he blitzkrieg's the main office, rips the gun from the man's hand and knocks him out. "Your good to go." He tells the actor before he zooms right on out.
