Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
The shop is well, it's really bigger on the inside than it is on the outside! Seriously!!! This is so not just a figmentation of anyone's imagination, if one were to measure the outside of the shop, there would be a marked difference and it's not small!

Like usual, it's quiet inside, the occasional normal person wandering in and seemingly not noticing or not being interested in the more obviously magical shelves and items in the shop, or maybe not even completely noticing the fact the place is well, wierd!

There's a quartet of witches running the place, a young redhead, ready to just start college stands behind the checkout counter, while a pair of twin blondes run the coffee and snack bar. Honestly, for once the place seems to be a little busy, there's some people ordering food, or coffee and the like.

Then there's Kaelyn, she's currently looking over a few round bottom flasks, curiously, and carefully examining the contents.... The tallest of the two redheads, sighs and makes her way over to another table, this one seeming to have runes on it and around it, these being thin filiments of silver, only barely visible to the naked eye...

Mister Fantastic has posed:
Reed Richards views on magic are well known to his family, his friends, the superhero community, his students, anyone who's watched his TED Talks, or seen them on YouTube. He does not consider magic to be a thing. What has been described as magic can be replicated and explained by science.

But those 'facts' having been stated, repeatedly, he does try to keep an open mind. In truth, when Reed Richards visits a magical shop, or spends time with a magician, it is mostly an outlet for him to prove them wrong. He has ruined many performances when he was in the audience.

It's actually one of the few things about Reed Richards that is genuinely ugly. He does not accept magic, at all, and he would like everyone to know it. Bludhaven was known to be a centre for magical shops, and so it was here that he came on a whim.

Once he walked through the door, he immediately noted the size discrepancy, and commented, "they've made good use of space folding here." He was impressed. Though he does things like that at Four Freedoms Plaza all the time. In fact, he had recently made a regulation basketball court for Franklin, accessible through his bedroom closet.

Invisible Woman has posed:
"I have one request," Sue says as she steps through the door before her husband. She is dressed casually in black slacks and a white button up blouse with a light blazer over the top to keep out the cool November air outside. "Be nice. No matter what, no matter how much you want to disagree or prove them wrong, be nice. This is their place of business."

She glances at some of the shelves nearby, her mind going a mile a minute. She's quite the scientist herself but she is also more open minded than her husband. "We do not want to impact their livelihood negatively, even if you disagree. Alright?"

Fairchild has posed:
Hungry hungry hungry "hungry hungry hungry, need food," Caitlin mumbles under her breath. She moves briskly through the crowd, a little shy of simply plunging through folks and mumbling polite 'sorries' and 'excuse mes' as she goes.

Some people mutter darkly in her wake. "Doggone leafers," one of them grumbles. "Oughta send 'em back to New York." She's in business attire; navy skirt and blazer, lime green undershirt, and stylish but practical low heels. An ID tag is clipped to her lapel.

Caitlin's not listening; she beelines for the counter, digging out a credit card on the run. The barest of friendly smiles is flashed. "Hi, hello, good morning. Ahh... give me a carafe of coffee, but I'd like it filled with a latte. Sixteen shots of expresso and please make it with heavy cream. And I'll take... two of these protein bars and a half-dozen doughnuts." Her credit card's handed over quickly.

Blurr has posed:
Oh, there are lots of ways to make the inside of something seem bigger than the outside! Well aside from the most obvious underground bunker with one room above ground. Magic certainly isn't the only one. So when Blurr uses his holomatter to enter the shop, he isn't all that surprised to witness something like that. After all, subspace shunting and mass displacement are what make it possible for -him- to actually become smaller when shifting to vehicle mode.

The avatar itself appears to be blond-haired human teen male dressed casually, as he stands in the coffee shop area watching the Terrans go about their business, and drink a strange brown liquid with white stuff in it.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae looks up from inspecting these potions or liquids, probably potions and all, her hat falling off, revealing a pair of horse ears. This gets a giggle from the auburn-headed girl behind the counter...

Kae pauses, then casually picks up the hat, it being a baseball cap with a silver star on the front. Soemone's a Cowboy's fan...

Kae watches Reed for a bit, then kind of smirks a bit as Susan wanders in talking... . o O ( This could be fun.) She thinks to her self, before glancing back at the potions again, setting them on the table and waving a hand over them. There's the barest flicker as small dome-like wards, or shields simply snap into existance over both the bottles.

Meanwhile the two blondes smirk at Caitlin, and both set about fixing up her order, really it is suprisingly quick how they get things done, much faster than ought to be considering the amounts, but there it is, a giant carafe of Latte, fixed up perfectly and done to order, not to mention everything else on a tray. Payment is accepted and tendered, before the card is handed back, and the girls set about fixing other stuff, one casually elbowing the other at the Richard's entrance...

Kae notices the 'entrance' of the holo-teen and grins a bit again. "Interesting day." She mutters and approaches the Richards "Hallo, Anything you are looking for in particular?"

Mister Fantastic has posed:
"Anything, my love," Reed said as he followed in after his wife. Unfortunately, he has again agreed too soon. For her one request proved to be a most difficult one to follow. The look on Reed's face as he contemplated that was priceless. Sue was making good points about their livelihood, but Reed wanted to say that making a livelihood by taking advantage of others was hardly something to be rewarded. After fighting the frown for a few moments, he nodded his head, "as you wish."

Reed would often go out in uniform, doing little to hide his own celebrity. He did not revel in it either. It was just that their costumes were comfortable. But a day out with Susan required less formal attire. Today he had elected to wear a navy blue overcoat, blue jeans, and a mauve turtleneck.

"It's not that we disagree. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but no one is entitled to their own facts. The fundamental principles of the universe remain constant. The speed of light, gravitational constant, planck constant, the 9 Yukawa couplings for the quarks and leptons..." and then he trails off as Kae approaches, instead saying, "oh, we're just browsing. Lovely store you have." He was being nice.

Invisible Woman has posed:
Sue turns that smile over to Kae as she greets them. "We were out doing some shopping. It's a lovely little neighborhood. Most of the shops are quite lovely though this one seems quite a lot larger on the interior than most of the ones on this block."

Fairchild has posed:
There's a psychological perceptive filter called the 'Cocktail Party Effect'. Even amidst the hubbub and backnoise of a party, it's quite possible to hear your name spoken and recognize the person who did it.

A similar function occurs for Caitlin when she hears someone talking about fundamental definitions of mass and energy. Mid-bite she turns in place with a furrowed brow and her eyes widen at the sight of Reed and Sue casually browsing for goods.

"Mmph!" Caitlin grabs the carafe and chugs down a few mouthfuls of latte to clear out the culler crumbs. A quick pat of a napkin spares her modest lipgloss from being smeared and she nervously sidles over to Reed and Sue's location.

"Dr. Richards? Dr-- hi! Do you remember me? I'm Caitlin Fairchild," she reminds him. "We met a Stark Convention a little while back. And hi, Mrs. Richards, it's swell to see you again," she tells Sue. "Are... are you in Sunnydale on work, or ...?" she inquires, trailing off. "I don't mean to pry, of course."

Blurr has posed:
Blurr's attention is drawn toward the Richards as Kae asks them a question and Caitlin hurries over. It seems they're a well-known pair--oh, right. Dr. Richards was one of Earth's foremost scientists, wasn't he?

The avatar approaches them as well, glancing at Kaelyn. "This your place?" it asks. To the casual observer, the avatar looks like a normal teen. To the astute...well, it just looks too perfect to actually be a real person. Even the most famous models have -some- imperfections on their skin, don't they?

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae smiles and nods "OH well, then may I suggest you try our coffees and teas? Some of the best in town. Even if I do say so my self." She says and taps her chin. "If it's something you'd like to read about, we have a large new age book selection, as well as books on herbs, witchcraft, sorcery, anything really to do with the Arcane..." She says and the hmms "Oh, not to mention artifice driven clockworks, and other items you might find rather fascinating I think."

Kae then turns and as she does, a tiny dark bronze, almost black little dragon? It's the size of a small cat comes scurrying, then flying over to the redhead witch... The critter lights on her shoulder, chirruping as it turns and looks to the new people, tilting its head and watching them with well, odd eyes.

Seems its eyes are amethysts, like litterally smooth ground internally faceted amethysts, and looking close, one might see tell tale signs that maybe the creature is less flesh and blood and somehow put together of many teeny tiny bits of 'machinery' that somehow seems to be living all on its own... Other than the fact the creature has this odd 'man made' 'feel' to it, it should probably be living, all the way from the way it breaths, to the noise it makes and the fact it's now drooling as its reaching into one of Kae's pockets and withdrawing what looks like a small cookie..

Kae feels the tugging and sighs "Fan, yer encourageable you know it?"

At this point a large raven flies in and lights near Kae. "Sorry missus." It says in a prim, propper english accent. "Fan snuck out yet again, I take full responsibili...." Kae holds up a hand "Fan's a hand full for anyone." She says with a smirk and motions to the perch near the coffee bar... The bird then flies over to it, getting some stares, but the locals that usually come in here seem to have no problem with things as the tall redhead flops into one of the many bean-bag type chairs around the place...

Kae grins at the Richards and adds "Anyhow, make your self at home, feel free to tell me what you think of the shop, likes and dislikes too, I'm allways looking to make improvements.

Kae now notes Blurr closer, and tilts her head... "Oooh..." She says, then projects a whisper to Blurr.. "Yer projection is too perfect mate."

Mister Fantastic has posed:
It's funny, Reed Richards goes by 'Mister Fantastic', yet he is a doctor. Victor von Doom is not a doctor, unless you count honourary doctorates, and they most assuredly do not count, yet goes by 'Doctor Doom'. When people address him as Reed Richards, it is often Dr. Richards. Meanwhile, Sue has multiple doctorates, and yet is just Mrs. Richards. Then again, Tony Stark also has doctorates, but people never seem to refer to him as Dr. Stark.

Reed had an eidetic memory, so he recognised Caitlin Fairchild, but only barely. He hadn't been paying much attention to their brief conversation at the Stark-Fujikawa Convention on Long Island. At the time, he had been eying Dr. Connors' Neogenic Recombinator prototype. "Hello Ms. Fairchild, it's good to see you again." He was being nice. "As we were just explaining to this young woman," he gestured towards Kae, "we're just browsing."

Reed was astute, and he'd likely pick up on the teenage avatar's physical perfection. Except that he wasn't terribly concerned with it. Right now, he was contemplating a new food supplement for Puppy, Franklin and Valeria's pet dog, well, sort of. It was actually the offspring of Lockjaw, himself an inhomo canis lupus familiaris, and another creature of unknown dimensional origin. He was also re-writing a speech he was to give to the United Nations, some modifications to the Pogo Plane, and how beautiful Sue's hair looked as it reflected the overhead lights in here.

It was then that he took more note of the teenage boy. He looked at him, and something seemed off. It was one of those subtle reactions, the kind most people would miss, but it was there. Unlike Kae, he was too reserved to call him out on it.

There was so much going on. The raven, the dragon, Kaelyn, that Reed had to remind himself several times to be nice. Right about now all he wanted to do was to explain all of this away. But she was welcoming even if to him, she was nothing but a charlatan.

Invisible Woman has posed:
"We'll be certain to do that. Thank you for the warm welcome," Sue says to Kae, watching the little creatures as they do their thing. Interesting and she slips her arm through Reed's, a gentle reminder that she is right there. Listening.

"Ms. Fairchild. A pleasure to meet you again," she says as she turns to the redhead that towers over her. "I hope you've been well."

Projection too perfect? That brings her gaze over to the young man nearby. Oddly, he does seem too perfect. Whichhas her wondering what projection the woman is talking about. Perhaps an image inducer. She knows a few mutants use those to hide their apperance. Likely the same thing.

Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin's timing is bad; she looks over just in time to see a piece of statuary on Kaelyn's shoulder turn and stare with glimmering amythyst eyes. The motion provokes a shriek of alarm that she claps off by steepling her hands over her mouth. The redhead dances a quick step away and nearly upsets a bookshelf. There's a flailing few moments of trying to correct the stand before the contents are wholly upended. By mere inches, disaster is averted.

"Criminey, you *scared* me," Caitlin remarks-- but it's more apology than complaint.

She takes a deep breath. The action recalls her attention to the tray of snacks on the counter and she drifts over towards it to reclaim another doughnut and decant some of the carafe into a tall reusable cup. Despite the calorie-dense food she's powering through them with an unsated hunger.

She ends up nearer to Sue when she drifts back, and flashes a timid smile at the blonde. "I'm doing pretty well, thank you," she murmurs to Sue. "I'm still working in the Skunkworks for SI. Definitely the best job I've ever had," she confides. "How's things with the Baxter Institute?"

Blurr has posed:
Oh, scrap. Was it really that obvious to people? The avatar stares at Kae when she points out the fact. But then he shrugs. "It's not like I can do anything about it." he admits, although he refrains from revealing what he really is.

Unlike Caitlin, the appearance of Kae's strange little pets doesn't seem to faze him. For all he knows, all ravens are supposed to talk anyway. And he's seen plenty of mechanical reptilian things. But a smirk is directed Cat's way, due to her awkward reaction.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae hops just a bit, and even as the book shelf wiggles, it seems to settle back all too perfectly.. Even the books that might have been shifted seem to go back to where and how they belong.

Kae smiles cheerfully to the Richards and nods "Allright enjoy your lookaround then." She says warmly.

Kae's eyes shift to Caitlin and after a moment she ooohs... "Yes, Sorry about that Fanhuil is a bit of a goober." She says and shrugs slowly, the little dragon has the cookie in both its forepaws and is happily nibbling away at it, making little chirrups and warbling noises while it noms down.

Meanwhile, the talking raven is well having a chat with one of the blonde girls, her name being Tanya by what Poe (the Raven) says...

Kae returns to the table with the potions on it and lifts the little shields, before giving them one more swirl and a shrug and starting to walk them back toward the back, her path carrying her near the Richards again.

On her way Kae nods at the teen... She then hmmms and waves a hand, grinning a bit as she adds a bit of illusion to the 'illusion' trying to make it so said projection is less 'perfect'. "There, I hope this can help." She says with a grin.

Meanwhile, Fan hops off Kae's shoulder, and flits to the shelf nearest Caitlin, another chirrup is made as the little critter gets closer.

Mister Fantastic has posed:
With Sue slipping her arm through his, Reed adjusts, making it easier for her. One hand reaches for hers, resting there, just coming into physical contact, though that contact is short lived. With Caitlin stepping back in terror, unsettling a bookshelf, Reed reaches out with his hand to shore it up; making sure that nothing falls or gets dislodged further, and helping her to correct it.

"Four Freedoms Plaza now," Reed corrects her, "we relocated over two years ago." He could have said down to the month, day, and hour, but he had long come to realise that people did not wish for him to be so precise. So over two years ago would suffice. "It's going well. At least when Ben and Johnny aren't acting like they were Franklin and Valeria's ages." He smiled at his own joke.

To the young man, Reed offers, "I have some experience in this field. I'd be happy to see what I can do to help." At least until he found out who and what the young man was. Providing he wasn't a criminal, Reed was very happy to help.

Fairchild has posed:
"Oh, gosh, duh. Sorry, I don't know why I derp'd so hard," Caitlin mutters. She pinks a bit in embarassment. "I knew you'd relocated. Mental note, mental note," she mutters. Her expression screws up into one of deep concentration.

"Ok. Won't forget again, I hope," she apologizes.

Her phone buzzes and Caitlin checks it. "Oh, crabapples," she gasps under her breath. "I'm late. I knew I'd get distracted. I-I'm sorry, I've got to dash," she apologizes. "I've got to be in Midtown in an hour or I'm going to get stuck in traffic until the weekend. It was nice meeting everyone-- Sue, Dr. Richards, I'll see you around!" With haste Caitlin starts stacking her remaining food onto a travel box and juggles the carafe as well, towards a waiting black SUV with 'Stark Industries' discreetly emblazoned near the front fender. She climbs in the back and off it goes, heading towards the freeway.

Blurr has posed:
When Kae starts doing some weird magic thing to the holomatter, it stares at her, nonplussed. "Heywhatwhatareyoudoing?!" The image flickers like a faulty projection as it tries to absorb the changes, and parts of it start to look kind of pixelated. Like a weird glowing matrix of light shaped like a human.

Then, it suddenly seems to explode into thousands tiny particles of light that expand in a several foot radius before collapsing back in on themselves into a an odd white spherical shape on the floor.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae blinks and stares for a bit. "Ummm, oopse.." she mutters and sighs "Soemtimes I forget what affects Arcane energies sometimes have on technologies..." She mutters and sighs...

Kae then blinks a few times again and looks to Reed "Jee, I sure hope you can fix this." She says as she tries to dispel the little illusion she cast....

Kae then puts hands on her hips and rubs and huffs. Wendy, the auburn headed girl behind the counter giggles... Meanwhile an equine tail slips free of Kae's jacket at starts to move back and forth as she gives huffs, and of course the ears moving on top of her head makes the hat shift, thus exposing one equine ear... She gets more giggles from Wendy, Kae then sighs and huffs again as she crosses her arms under her chest... "Welll, if Mr Richards can fix ya, great, if not I can try something else.. I have some artifice and magi-tech in the back..."

Mister Fantastic has posed:
Reed stands there in the alleged magic shop, watching as Kae performs an action that destabilises the projection. There is very little he can do to prevent the cascade failure. But he watches with interest, using his free hand, as Sue still had hers wrapped around his other, to use the built in computer system to help him analyse what was going on. He usually used two hands for this, but this time he just bent one hand back to touch his own arm console. "The photo matrix is undergoing a casecade failure. Curiously, it seems to be a solid state, with its origin..." and he furrowed his brows. Holding the console in his clothes out to Sue, he asked her, "are you interpreting this as I am? Has someone Doc Browned us?" In other words, turned a car into some next level technology.

Invisible Woman has posed:
Realizing she is cramping his style, and perhaps he might be able to actually help the situation, Sue releases Reed's arm even as she takes a look at the readings. "It certainly seems..."

The sound of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star goes off from her phone. "I need to take that. Play nice." That is the last words she says to her husband as she turns away from the group, putting the phone to her ear and answering. "Valeria? Is everything alright?" She moves further away from the group for some privacy.

Blurr has posed:
The strange sphere hovers just above the floor for a few more seconds, before flickering and then fading out completely. But when it does, Reed's instruments would pick up on a retracting 'trail' of sorts that definitely does lead outside to the parking lot. And to a particular vehicle, too.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae blinks as the Sphere kind of departs.. "Well damn, was just trying to help." She mutters and sighs.... "Lemme guess whatever's sending that projection is probably outside somewhere pretty close by, like maybe in a parking lot?" She asks, then she tugs a small crystal sphere from her pocket, blows on it and tosses it in the air... The thing hovers in front of her, and grows from she size of a golf ball to kind of the size of a basket ball, before unfolding into what looks like a crystaline screen some few milimeters thick.

An image of the outside areas appears on the screen and Kae begins looking things over, soon enough the 'car' in question is well highlighted, however, oddly enough, what Kae's using is not giving off energy in a normal spectrum one can easily scan for... "Sooooooo..." she pauses 'Oh wait, y'found it allready...." She says and peers at Reed again...

Mister Fantastic has posed:
"I'm sure he, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say it, understood." Reed consoled Kaelyn, before nodding to her question. "I'm going to investigate." And while he did, Sue remained to make sure that nothing further happened in the store, but mostly to provide a bit of moral support for Kaelyn, saying all the reassuring things that come naturally to her, yet elude Reed.

Meanwhile, Reed will shortly come into view of the sphere, as he approached the car. "My name is Dr. Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. I do believe I can help you." He offered a card, which even if not accepted, could be scanned for the relevant information. "Please, come by, anytime." He was genuinely interested and wanted to get to the bottom of this, but didn't want to spook who or whatever was behind it.
