Profile

Excitable and friendly, Seong Hunori or 'Hunni' as she's more commonly known is a professional gamer and has represented South Korea on the E-Sports page in the past. After a recent kidnapping attempt she 'officially' stepped away from the public for a 'break' and to focus on studies. Unofficially, that 'attempt' triggered the dramatic emergence of dangerous metahuman powers. Laying low over in the US, Hunori has begun to dip into the 'Hero game' and take on the dangers and evils of the real world, rather than just those on a screen.

Description:

Beautiful, bright, youthful. Many words describe this girl. Just coming in at a height of 5'2. Her build is slim, toned and yet remains exceptionally feminine, the curves of her form marking her as decidedly a young woman rather than a child.

Warm hazel eyes look out with an often joyful expression. Her nose is straight and feminine with a slight upturn at the tip, another marker to her seeming youth, and below her lips are full without being pouty. Her jawline is delicate but well defined, and her features only serve to enhance the illusion of youth. Deep brown hair flows straight down her back to just above her rear, framing her powerful yet still slender form.

History

History:

Life can be funny. For Hunori, everything she'd ever done growing up had certain rules to it. School-work, study, routines of life directed by her parents, everything had some sort of guideline that made sense. Growing up in Seoul, 'Hunni' was the doted-upon daughter of a successful business people and entrepreneurs. Able to go to the best schools, have some of the best holidays and partake in multiple hobbies. While she dabbled in the usual exploits and intrests of girls her age throughout school, it was the the very first time she was handed a second-hand console that the trajectory of her life changed. She was good at it, very good, and what started as a hobby for many suddenly grew into an industry and sport exceptionally popular in her homeland.

As success and money grew, Hunni's parents were happy to support and the young woman continued her career, finally branching to the international stage. It was on one of these trips that her already atypical life would grow even more unexpectedly abnormal.

Put simply, Hunori had gotten careless, a venture out of the 'postcard' district while visiting France caused the girl to draw the attention of a local criminal gang involved in human trafficing. Caught alone, the young woman found herself being dragged into a van and toward a likely terrible fate when 'something' surged out of her in a violent erruption. Moments before she'd been internally pleading to escape, now Hunori found herself standing by the shell of a shattered van and burning criminals. Like any frightened teenager? She fled the scene, moving faster than ever before.

Weeks later, experimentation and curious caution lead Hunni to discover and eventually get the hang of how to 'repeat' this transformation without blind terror. As she arrived in America, the land of some of the world's most famous heroes, thoughts drifted from the stories of her beloved games and the literiture she'd loved as a child. News broadcast talked about superpowered heroes doing good, saving lives and making a difference all the time so...why shouldn't Hunni play this 'game' too?

Personality

Personality:

Hunni does not refrain from speaking her mind; She is more than happy to contradict people when she thinks they are wrong, even if they are in positions of authority over her, and she has a talent for sarcastic comebacks and quick wit. Hunni is a energetic, excitable, and thrill-seeking. She is reasonable and she does not go out of her way to look to pick arguments or cause drama, but sometimes this is overshadowed by impulsive excitability.

Abilities

Empowering:
Channeling: Calling on her powers, Hunni can 'empower' herself. This 'transformation' confers her magnified strength, speed and agility as well as her 'armor', a 'girly' outfit that looks to be made of non-armored materials, yet confers an invisible barrier able to shrug off up to small-calibre gunfire without even feeling any pain. Superhuman impacts and heavier weapons can still injure her and should she sustain enough of these injuries the field will give out, rendering her as vulnerable as any normal human.

Enhanced Agility:
When utilizing her empowerment, Hunni's physical agility and coordination is immensely magnified. Her reaction time is so fast she can react to gunfire and dodge bullets as well as evading shrapnel, debris, and other such attacks.

Enhanced Strength:
With her empowerment active, Hunni's physical strength is magnified far beyond her regular limitations. She can jump long distances with a running start, able to lift up to 1.5 tons of weight without damaging strain.

Wrathful Energy:

While utilizing her powers, Hunni can release the magical energy she channels from her patron in serveral ways. From burning bolts of radient energy up to 300 meters away these energy bolts can be released in a more concussive force when need be using deliberate restraint, but still pack punch ranging anywhere from a line-backer tackle to a car crash!

Skills

All Nighter!:
Having pushed herself to complete 'one more level', 'one more raid', 'one more match' and many other things of a similar nature, Hunori is no stranger to going without sleep and maintaining her coordination. While she will eventually tire like anyone else if she goes without sleep long enough, she can manage a suprising amount of hours past sensible with the aid of a few snack foods and energy drinks!

Creative Thinker:
A side-effect of a habit turned 'career' of playing video games, Hunori has encountered a wide variety of puzzles, challenges, riddles and tasks throughout her electronic media exposure. While real life is often quite complex, she's developed a knack for looking at a situation and coming up with an effective stratergy, even if it is often a little unorthodox. Or if sometimes it boils down to 'more blasting'!

Electronics Solutions:

Having spent several years as a professional gamer, Hunori has had to work with, repair and otherwise maintain her own setup as well as troubleshoot. While it's hardly going to get her through a supervillain's mainframe, being able to jury-rig something to work when she needs it can come in handy.

Resources

Appartment:

Hunni has her own studio apartment in Midtown, a safe place for her to go and get away from everything. Paid for by her 'day job', Hunni makes the most of it even if it's a far cry from a 'secret lair'. It does have a pretty decent computer and internet connection though!

Weaknesses

Draining:
As powerful as Hunni's reserves of raw power are, her lack of formal training and its very nature means that continued use can only be kept up for so long. This is particularly true of her barrier, which can eventually be overwhelmed. Shattering it leaves her feelin 'winded' and repeated or extremely strenuous effort may render her unconcious.

Gaps In the Armor:
While Hunni's 'force field' protects her from more direct trauma, it doesn't confer any means to resist a telepathic attack. Similarly, 'magic canceling' or particularly enchanted items could bypass the protection she has.

Inexperience:
While she has the powers and 'ideas' from her time exposed to the Metahumans, Mutants and superheroes, Hunni is still new to being a superhero. Many of the consideratons, dangers and trials of the 'job' are simply not things she has an awareness of that others have already developed. That and most of the 'combat' experience she has under her belt has come from a video game.

On Or Off:

Without the channeling of her empowerment, Hunni is no stronger, faster or physically hardy compared to any girl of the same athletic background.
