Description
Description:
Pale as the driven snow and bearing just a few hints of consistent late nights at the office, Jill's facial features are nonetheless rather beautiful. Angular features with high cheekbones and a narrow jawline. Her lips are pert and plump, yet she happens to wear a serious expression that suppresses their beauty nearly if not all the time. Above them, her nose is a small and almost cute little button, though the intensity of her general demeanor sort of ruins its demure nature. Her eyes are sharp and hawk like, crystal blue pools that will not, or perhaps cannot miss any detail near or far. Perfectly plucked eyebrows lay above them, and the whole of her face is framed by the shimmering locks of her auburn hair. Long enough to reach her shoulder blades, she ties it back into a ponytail most of the time.
Her neck is slender as it extends down into narrow yet muscular shoulders, not lacking in femininity, but expressing a good deal of athletic power. Her arms are slight, but while not bulky, they are quite toned and muscular, showing that she is both graceful and indeed quite strong. This trend continues throughout her body, with a healthy chest and feminine hips providing a stark contrast to the strength of her legs and core.
Speaking of those legs, they seem to go on for days, contributing to most of her height. They're thick in the thigh and in the calf, showing an intense level of acrobatic strength to them.
Her attire depends on where she is and what she's doing, but her most common casual dress is an almost scandalous and somewhat strange combination of sky blue tube top, tucked into a mid-thigh length black skirt. On her feet (and calves, technically) she wears a pair of tan leather boots, with a mid-length heel.
For something closer to "work," Jill wears a skintight combat suit that seems to be armored in some way, as while it is not made from leather, it has some sort of texture to it. Two-tone, in both sky and midnight blue, it covers from her ankles to her neck, as well as down to just past her elbows. With this suit, she also wears a tactical belt with several pouches, a seemingly-custom pistol on her thigh, a combat and utility knife on her left calf, and a tactical harness on her chest.
History
History:
After several years of service, Jill was recruited by Albert Wesker for the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S), an elite investigative unit within SHIELD, relying on military veterans and weapons-trained scientists to investigate public disturbances. After a short time serving in S.T.A.R.S., Jill was ranked as a Captain on the Alpha Team, with the position of Rear Security due to her impeccable marksmanship.
At around this time, hikers and other nature-goers began to go missing in the forests surrounding Raccoon City. Deployed with the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. unit to investigate, Jill and the rest of Alpha team became trapped in a mansion following the disappearance of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team. Forced to navigate its trapped and dangerous halls, the elite unit encountered a biological threat known as the T-Virus, the victims of which either mutated horribly, or reanimated after death to become nothing more than dangerously shambling zombified horrors.
While at first their focus was escape, the S.T.A.R.S. unit eventually realized that this mansion housed the reasons for the disappearances in the woods, and in addition, the laboratory that created the virus. While there, Jill fought and killed numerous monstrosities and mutated horrors, from zombified people and dogs, to mutated killers with razor sharp claws, and impossibly tough and strong entities such as what is dubbed in their reports as the "Tyrant." It was also within this laboratory that Jill uncovered Albert Wesker's treachery, realizing that he planned to use the virus for nefarious purposes, in addition to blackmailing and murdering several other members of the S.T.A.R.S. unit that Wesker himself led.
Together with the other surviving members of S.T.A.R.S., Jill foiled Wesker's plans and destroyed the laboratory via its self-destruct sequence. Following the mansion incident, those members dispersed to combat the organization that had caused the incident. Of all of them, only Jill and her compatriot Brad remained in Raccoon City. Due to an incident in the sewers, Raccoon City became the hotbed of a viral contagion, as the T-Virus and its sister the G-Virus were accidentally unleashed on the city.
During this outbreak, Jill confronted, and eventually destroyed, a brand-new T-Virus monstrosity specifically designed to hunt and kill all the surviving members of S.T.A.R.S. Only called Nemesis, the beast was incredibly formidable, capable of lifting several tons and seemingly incapable of being permanently harmed. In one of confrontations with the beast, Jill was infected with the T-Virus, and spent several days in a deteriorating condition before a compatriot of hers could synthesize a cure of sorts. It worked, but not completely. Instead of destroying the virus, it merely rendered it dormant. By the time it became active again, her body had created antibodies that were capable of fighting off its negative effects, leaving only the enhancements the T-Virus was created to cause in humans.
The Raccoon City incident has left Jill a changed woman. Despite the abilities she's gained from the experience, she has lost many friends and colleagues. Upon her return to SHIELD, because of the vacuum left by Wesker, she has now found herself in charge of the S.T.A.R.S. unit, and she has been dedicating herself to its continued mission.
Personality
Personality:
Following her escape from Raccoon City, Jill is notably grim during most situations, very rarely showing much emotion though, on occasion, she has let a bit of her humor shine through.
Abilities
Healing Factor:
The most impressive factor of the T-Virus' changes to her body is Jill's ability to rapidly recuperate. Not fast enough to heal bullet wounds in moments, but still impossibly fast for a normal human, if left to heal Jill will be back on her feet from any non-fatal injuries in a matter of hours, or days. In addition, her body's adaptation to the T-Virus infection has left her with an unnaturally powerful immune system that is capable of fighting off any form of disease or parasite that enters her bloodstream.
Post-Human Strength:
Jill is, for a human being, very strong. She is capable of flat leaping from one floor of a building to another, and has been shown to wield high-caliber weapons in one hand without worrying about the recoil, even when firing fully-automatically. It's safe to say that she could likely lift a small automobile, though she would be likely incapable of throwing it. A kick from her will break bones and send a normal person flying, and she will effortlessly throw human beings across rooms.
Superhuman Agility:
Far more than she is strong, Jill is much faster and more acrobatic than a human being can possibly reach without enhancement. Capable of moving almost faster than the human eye can follow, executing acrobatic maneuvers such as flips and mid-air twists at extreme speeds and from positions that would require immense strength and incredible timing to perform.
Superhuman Durability:
Skills
Army and Law Experience:
Jill was in the US Army special forces for several years, and ever since then, has been an active member of some form of elite unit or another dedicated to law enforcement or, more specifically, combating bioterrorism threats across the globe.
Hand-To-Hand:
Jill is an expert at hand to hand and close-quarters combat, ranging from using bare fists, to using melee weapons such as combat knives and batons against beings with superhuman strength and agility. While not quite a martial-artist, her acrobatic fighting style is difficult to track and combat with classical techniques, despite its apparent impracticality.
Lockpicking:
Dubbed, in the most cringeworthy of fashions, the "Master of Unlocking" Jill has not met a lock that CAN be picked that she herself cannot pick. In the past it has required specialized locks and card readers in order to stop her from using a basic lockpick set to get wherever she needs to go.
Marksmanship:
Resources
S.T.A.R.S.:
Jill is the co-leader of this elite section of SHIELD intended to investigate matters too public for regular agents, in order to be passed off as Law Enforcement. Making use of military veterans and weapons-trained scientists, every member of SHIELD is intelligent, capable, and efficient. In addition, as part of SHIELD, it has resources befitting its membership.
Shield:
Weaknesses
Critical Hits:
While Jill's regenerative capabilities do excessively shorten her recovery time, there are ways to circumvent that strength. A sufficiently strong blow to the head, even if it doesn't breach the skull, is still enough to knock her unconscious. In addition, should her heart become damaged enough to cease properly pumping blood, she will be effectively incapacitated.
Fire and Asphyxiation:
Due to the nature of burns leaving dead cells in place of living ones, in addition to destroying cells, burns on Jill's body take longer to heal than other wounds, and occupy her regenerative capabilities almost wholly.
At the same time, asphyxiation also leaves dead cells in critical areas, and results in the preoccupation of said regeneration, in a similar fashion.
Hunted:
Though she's done it primarily by surviving, Jill has amassed a number of enemies over her life. Primary among them is Albert Wesker, the superhuman ex-leader of S.T.A.R.S. and former Umbrella researcher, who wants her dead as a matter of revenge. In addition, any surviving corporation such as Umbrella likely has a grudge to pick with Jill for foiling their plans and exposing their dangerous practices to the world.
Sandwiches:
