|Profile=Meet Hector Rodriguez, a well-known Broadway actor living in NYC. He appears to be a normal, law-abiding, citizen of medium fame. But by night or when he has to during the day, he adopts a completely new persona. He is the inheritor to the legacy of Zorro, a hero who dwelled in Spanish-ruled California and protected the commoners and indigenous people from the tyranny of corrupt local rulers and other villains. As the distant descendant of Diego de la Vega, the original Zorro, Hector Rodriguez has adapted the identity of his famous ancestor and continues his fight against "modern-day tyranny" while avoiding law enforcement, who are seeking him out for his actions against seemingly law-abiding citizens, who are really corrupt, immoral, and sometimes flat-out evil individuals.

Before you is a medium-sized, clean shaven man of Hispanic descent with an athletic build. He is currently wearing an all-black costume which includes a black cape, a sombrero cordobés, and a sackcloth mask. Through the slits of his mask, his eyes are an obvious watery-blue. Under his mask is short, black hair, which he cuts short often to make his mask more comfortable to wear. On his right cheek is a scar which he got for a sparring session with his fencing tutor while in Middle School. Hidden in the sleeves of his costume are tattoos of a lion on his right bicep and a dragon on his left.

Hector Rodriguez was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 7th,1998. Growing up in one of the worst neighborhoods in the city, Hector personally experienced what he would later call "tyranny" from a variety of people, people he would later label "modern-day tyrants." The most prominent of these people was Mr. Sandusky, the owner of the apartment block Hector and his family lived. Mr. Sandusky was a slum lord who charged people a large amount of rent to live in his poorly maintained apartments. He cut off things like heat or air conditioning if tenants complained about the rent or maintenance. He even hired thugs to intimidate his tenants, especially if they threatened to stop or stopped paying rent, or if they were about to report him to the law. Under these conditions, Hector's already low-income family suffered. This suffering was not helped by the various warring gangs fighting in the neighborhood, not caring who got in the crosshairs in the process. The worse of these gangs was the 9th Avenue Rippers. Lead by a mountain of a man named Hank Torres, who often bullied non-members of the group and terrified the entire neighborhood into silence with acts of brutality. These two men would be one of the main catalysts for Hector finally taking on the mantel of his distinguished ancestor.

When Hector was 10, his father was gunned down in a drive-by done by a rival gang meant for members of The Rippers. Hector's father was the family's prime breadwinner, and his mother was forced to take two jobs to support him while paying rent. Eventually, Hector's mother was threatened with eviction by Mr. Sandusky for not keeping up with the recently increased rent. Realizing that she would soon be evicted, Hector's mother sent Hector to live with her parents in San Francisco, promising to return for him soon. Unfortunately, She didn't live long enough to fulfill this promise. Within a few days of Hector moving in with his Grandparents, Hector's mother died in a fire in the apartment block, which was caused by faulty wiring due to negligence by Sandusky. Fencing, in particular, proved to be the sport he was best at, and he found that he quite enjoyed it, despite getting a scar in an accident involving his coach. When Hector was 14, his history teacher prepared a course in Californian history and brought up a historical figure by the name of Zorro. Zorro, whose real name was lost to history, was a man who protected the commoners and indigenous peoples of Spanish California from corrupt and tyrannical officials and other villains. Hector immediately grew to admire this mysterious man from California's past, wishing someone like him were there to stand up to the like of Mr. Sandusky and Hector Torres. This admiration would eventually lead to his wish coming true, with him being the new Zorro. In his sophomore year of high-school, Hector dreamed of becoming an actor, due in part to hearing stories from his Uncle Mike, who used to work for various studios in Hollywood, and his own admiration for the art of film. To help prepare for this future career, he joined his school thespian club and prove natural in acting, and eventually grew to be a good singer and dancer due to his Grandparents hiring a private tutor. Hector managed to snag the role and proved to be the best part of the musical, getting praise from audiences and theater critics alike. He also snagged the attention of a "thespian talent agent", who managed to strike a deal with Hector and helped him book auditions all across California, landing him roles in various plays, but never reaching the lead role like in The Last Mermaid When he was 24, he moved to NYC and hoped to make it in Broadway. Two year after arriving in NYC and having minor roles in various Broadway Plays, Hector managed to snag the role of The Phantom of the Opera in a audition, making his career and helping him land more lead roles once his tenure as Phantom was done. His Grandmother revealed that the family was forced to keep this secret to keep their family safe from Zorro's enemies after he died, and became more of a badge of pride that was told to the men of the family when they came of a certain age. After his Grandmother died, Hector returned to NYC and dropped out of sight for a while. While in seclusion, Hector pondered what his Grandmother told him and remembered all the times he had wished someone stood up to the "tyrants" that made his early childhood a living hell.
