Owner Pose
Achak     A car drives into the garage with bulletholes along the length of it. He comes out of the car, clearly not the owner of the car but he looks around. "Anyone home?" He calls out, looking at the various tools. He then looks to the car and chuckles a little as he rubs the back of his head.
Mercy Thompson Mercy's been burrowed under the engine of a Porsche, stretched out under it working on bolts. Bolts that are rusted, but hearing the car pull in, Mercy rolls out and is on her feet The bullet holes have her wishing she had a weapon right now. The last thing she needs....is somebody shooting in her shop. And this time she didn't shoot anything. Or, anyone. Mercy looks over, "So....." she says "What's up with bringing that car in here/I can take a look at it, but..."
Achak     "I borrowed a friend's car. Normally I dont drive, but I needed something to catch the bullet holes. I promised my friend I would get it sorted out. How much would it cost to replace the metal shot up, with new metal? I am afraid I dont know how cars work..." Achak says as he shrugs at her. "I am Achak. Achak Lifewalker." He says as he offers his hand to shake.
Mercy Thompson Mercy shakes the hand and raises an eyebrow. "Achak. Okay, I can work with that. You orrowed your friend's car?" she asks searching for lies. Mercy spares a look to the car and shakes her head. "I can put new metal on that car. But...."

She shakes her head, her coveralls stained with oil, and grease, as she inspects the car and Achak. "You did good getting it in here if you don't know how cars work" Mercy points out.
Achak     "I know enough to get me in trouble. Plus I had a job application to complete and part of it required stopping a weapon deal in gotham. Lots of fun." He says as he watches the woman. "Well I didnt think the bullets would do that much damage. On the plus side, I didnt get a bullet." Achak says as he shrugs.
Mercy Thompson Mercy raises an eyebrow studying Achak and then nods. "Alright, so you get mixed up in Gotham trouble. Okay. And no you look pretty intact to me" Mercy nods with a glance to the car. "That shouldn't be too hard, though...." Mercy says softly. "Achak Lifewalker. Interesting name" she muses, gathering up tools. First one? Her phone. Her phone for ordering things in.
Mercy Thompson That's got Mercy's curiosity. "When what began?" Mercy asks, "So, you're Native, ah, that explains things" Mercy nods and looks pleased to find another Native American walking around the city.
Achak     "I was originally Navajo but my tribe outcasted me when my true tribe made itself manifest. I am Satokan, a tribe of native americans shunned by other native americans. I am one of the chosen of the satokan, and thus possess all the burdens and gifts that comes from it." Achak explains as he watches her.,
Mercy Thompson Mercy shakes her head, putting a few more steps between herself and the Satokan. "My father warnd me about you all" she says gently. There's no accusing to her voice though, "He said you protect animals. First honest thing I've heardd from him in a while" Mercy sighs and looks to Achak. Then the car. She twirls s a wrench a few times and looks from the car back to Achak, as if silentlt working out if the car's worth fixing...or just scrapping.
Achak     Achak nods. "The great spirit created man with a piece of herself. This was to give man the chance to do great things. Unfortunatly man in his greed misused the gift. She picked the Satokan tribe to protect the animal world from man's predations." He explains. "To combat the greatness of man, she picked a satokan to possess the power to turn into any animal alive. This is the champion of my people, and I am the current champion." Achak explains.
Mercy Thompson Mercy nods. "My father explained this. I know about your tribe. I know how and why you were created as a tribe" Mercy adds and nods quietly. She loooks over Achak, then smiles slightly. "So....you'd like your car fixed? Thatt I can do" Mercy offers watching him with a quiet, studious look.
Achak     "Yes. I need it fixed. Surely a few small arms bullets couldnt do too much." He says as he watches the woman. "I am in the process of being recruited for SHIELD...being the champion makes it hard to have money for the basic amneties," He says calmly.
Mercy Thompson Mercy nods, "Right, but they went through the panels. That means check what's behind the panels, engine, wheels. You want to help out? I'll knock the price off your bill" she says with a nod. It's a generous offer.
Achak     "Sure I wouldnt mind helping out, but my knowledge on mechanical engines is small." Achak says as he smiles at her. "So who is your father?" He asks curiously as he watches her. "Clearly you know of me and my tribe. Seems fair I learn about you."
Mercy Thompson Mercy shrugs. "Coyote." she admits. "Raven and Badger don't like him. I somehow evaded most of that dislike" she shrugs looking over the car. "Okay, you able to turn a wrench if I tell you what to take off or look for?" she asks with a glance at the car. And, yes, the holes too. Mercy's already dreading this.
Achak     "The children of coyote are a tricky bunch. But I understand what it is like to be distrusted because of your lineage." Achak says as he nods. "Yes I can do that." He says as he watches the woman and waits for her to tell him when to go to work.
Mercy Thompson Mercy nods, removing the wheels. "Oh we are. we are tricky and I've a reputation as a prankstr myself. Okay, you want to start taking the panels off that got holes and follow them to see where the holes lead?" she asks. There's no way she's diving into the engine on her own to see if bullets got in there. Not without help, anyway.
Achak     Achak nods as he begins to help take the panels off that has holes. He grunts as he helps her work. "So have you always known you were the child of coyote? I found out my heritage when I turned into my first animal. BEfore that I was raised on a navajo reservation."
