Doug Ramsey	Seeing that Sam's door is slightly open, Doug pushes it just a bit further. "Hey Sam," he says, "You here?" He peers inside, and then opens the door a little further, before he steps inside. "I wanted to talk to you for a minute." He kicks the door shut and then slips inside.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie looks up, from some of the homework for a class he has been working on. "Hey bro, whats up?' He closes the books and turns around offering his friend a smile.
Doug Ramsey	"Oh, I just wanted to talk to you for a second about... stuff." Doug says, before he walks over to the bed and drops onto it. "Did you hear, Roberto's seeing Lorna? I mean I think it's great, but oh man, can you imagine the look on Magneto's face?"
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie smirks, a bit and will move to grab a drink offering Doug one while the mini fridge is open "Yea, I think he would like about any one of us before Berto, even Dani or Illyana, maybe even Lock." He jokes a bit but adds "Actually think it is good too though, probably actually a good thing for both of them.
Doug Ramsey	Doug drops onto the bed, and accepts a drink. He sits up and pops the tab on the can. "Anyway, I wanted to talk to you -- I've been seeing Illyana. We were on, then we were off, and suddenly we're on again--" He takes a slurp from his can. "And I mean onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. And I--" He says, "Well Sam? I... am having a great time."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie chuckles and nods "Seemed like it, Ah was actually thinking about trying to set up the 6 of us going spending a weekend somewhere hang out, time where we would all have couple time, but also so Alexis could get to know you guys more.'
Doug Ramsey	Doug nods, once. "That'd be fun... until something exploded." He rests his hands behind his head. "Anyway. Illyana is -- dangerous. She's unpredictable. She's spiky -- sometimes literally. And I'm... me." He huffs out a breath. "I mean, I'm not normal, I'm a long way from normal, but... I think maybe I don't WANT normal because I..."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie looks over and seems to pondering saying something but can feel Doug wanting to continue. He will sip his drink and wait for the other man to continue, and there is no judging of his friend. He is listening and waiting to see if he needs advice on something or just an eat.
Doug Ramsey	"You know before -- everything, I'd fall in love now and again." Doug admits. "Stupid teenage stuff. But after I came back, that didn't happen anymore. And now...? Fwoosh."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie nods and says "So, Mr. Go out and have a fling Sam it will do you good" chuckes "Damn thats a mouth full, but Mr. Go out, has found the one he wants to spend a long time with and maybe make an honest woman out of eventually?" He grins at his buddy.
Doug Ramsey	Doug mutters "Well I mean I already have a rank in the Infernal Peerage." Then he sighs, and glances up at Sam. "This isn't a normal relationship. But I really like her."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie looks over to him, and says "Ok, my first real relationship was with an intergalactic teleporting rock star thief. Ah aint against odd relationships. I am happy to see you and Illyana happy. You honestly seem to need something exciting and limbo and Illyana are both that." He grins at his friend. "And your good for her too, give her a reminder of the human side of her, and us. Mind you might want to work on the dodging when you talk to him about dating his little sister. I wouldn't mention anything beyond maybe kissing her though." He jokes
Doug Ramsey	Doug puts his hands behind his head. "Piotr's fearsomeness is largely overstated." He crosses his feet at the ankles. "Remember, *he* was jealous of *me* once upon a time." Then he blinks once, twice, and says, "I'm just going to tell him the truth - that I don't control what Illyana does, and neither does he."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Yea, but with Kitty, he could do the whole "He is her age and they are both smart. With Illyana it is more "Whats he doing to my little snow flake." He grins a bit and says "And As a big brother myself, I can tell you totally different mind set, but he does know your a good guy and as you said he can't control her.
Doug Ramsey	"I can't control her either, she does what she wants." Doug shrugs, once. "But... yeah. I have some feelings for her I'm still trying to figure out, but what I DON'T want to do is rush her... or make her feel trapped or pressured... but I also don't want to miss my shot."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Well, she did seem proud of ya a bit the other night when told the new student about you. I think she likes you, and in more than just physical ways.
Doug Ramsey	"...New student?" Doug says. "Still buried in my work. She told him about me, huh?" He turns his head to the side, and then says, "...She and I-- I guess we just understand each other. We always did."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie says, "I mentioned you and the new student Kidia, little mouse sized girl. We talked about languages, I told her your powers, she said interested and Illy commented something about you being very interesting. Illy seemed girl friendy when she said it least to me."
Doug Ramsey	"Interesting." Doug snorts, and laughs. "Me. Mr. 'Quiet and enjoys Puzzles'. Mr. Honor Society." He breaks down into a fit of giggles.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie smirks and says "See all you needed was a flying man in a towel to come to your window in the middle of the night to make you interesting." He teases his friend a bit and says "Dude, you realize all the things we have been through, Ah think we might be slightly interesting to the new folks."
Doug Ramsey	Doug murmurs, "And in my head I'm still the kid who was in the chess club and boy scouts and cross-country track." He rests his hand on the side of his head. "But what can I say... I'm all about our resident demonic sorceress. Spikes and all." He plucks at the bedspread.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie grins and says "Ah understand, trust me, I'm hot for music teacher." He gives a bit of addition to the old song. "Seriously though am happy for you and Illy both man, still not the relationship surprises me the most looking back to those early days.
Doug Ramsey	Doug pushes himself up onto his hands, and says, "You think?" He murmurs, "We bonded as kids cause we both had a little bit of a frustrated crush on-" He cuts himself off. "But like... we were just friends. The thought never crossed my mind."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises a bit and says "Crush on?" He will ask his friend smiling a bit. He expects he knows but sees if his buddy will spill the beas on this one.
Doug Ramsey	Doug shakes his head, slowly. "Uh-uh." He zips his mouth shut.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises a bit but lets it go. "So, am glad to hear you and her both happy. Anything else new been going on?"
Doug Ramsey	"...Some stuff I'll talk about later." Doug says. He sits up, and pats Sam on the shoulder. "Thanks for the talk, Sam. It's nice." He swings his legs off the bed.
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Hey brother, Ah am here for you any time you need me, you need or want me to do something just let me know brother."
Doug Ramsey	"I know you are, Sam." Doug says, "And it's nice to have someone that I can fall back on. You know I'm just a phone call away if you need me." He beams, brightly. "Anyway... I have to get back to work now."
Samuel Guthrie	Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "We need to figure out a limbo phone to get you and Illy." He will smile and says "The hell phone."
Doug Ramsey	Doug closes the door behind him and says, "That pun was hellish, Sam. Just hellish."
