Owner Pose
Clint Barton It's evening in NYC when Clint Barton comes in the door of the Greenwich brownstone he shares with Skye, two bowls of the 'good ramen' in bag as he steps inside.

"Hey Keyboard are you here?" he calls into the house as he nudges the door closed behind him.

As the door clicks shut Clint's arrival is met with meows from the /real/ owners of the brownstone (other than Lara Croft that is) Grant and Randy who come trotting over to welcome him.
Skye Johnson "mmm maybe, maybe not... "

Skye wanders out of the kitchen. "Ooooh. " She picks up Grant up
Skye Johnson "Mmmmm maybe, maybe not.."

Skye wanders out of the kitchen. "Oooh! " She picks Grant up.
Clint Barton Clint grins as Skye appears leaning in to give her a brief kiss on the lips, pausing to scratch Grant as he withdraws, something Randy complains about at his feet until Clint crouches to offer the same to him.

Standing again he holds up the bag. "I got us dinner, chef's choice for both so it's a case of pick your poison."

He nods his head towards the kitchen.
Skye Johnson "Chef choice? Who are you and what have done with the real Clint!" Skye grins, and joins him in the kitchen.
Clint Barton Another grin for Skye as Clint heads to the kitchen with Randy following behind drawn by his human and the smell of forbidden food.

"Figured I'd live on the wild side a bit," he offers as explanation as he sets down the bag and produces the two sealed bowls and their accompanying deep plastic spoons. "So, want first pick or is that on me?" he asks even as he scoops up Randy as he jumps onto one of the bar stools at the kitchen island to try and get at the food.

"I meant Skye, not you," Clint tells the cat as he holds him feet dangling in the air in front of him before setting him back down on the floor.
Skye Johnson Skye puts Grant down and he hops down.

"And?" She considers. "Who... two out three?" She grins.
Clint Barton Clint cocks his head considering the question thrown his way.

"Two out of three works," he says. "Coin toss or paper-rock-scissors?"

He takes a seat up at the island, careful not to hit the cats milling at their feet.
Skye Johnson "Paper-rock-scissors," she dust her hands off. "I want to you do know will I cheat."

She sets herself hersel
Skye Johnson "Paper-rock-scissors," she dust her hands off. "I want to you I know will I cheat."

She sets herself upon the island.
Clint Barton Clint laughs, "Wouldn't expect anything less," he replies easily as he balls his hand into a fist to begin the game.

"One, two, three," he counts off before leaving his hand in a fist, picking rock.
Skye Johnson She waits with hers and covers with was paper. She laughs under breaths and exclaims, "One!"
Clint Barton "Well at least you warned me," Clint laughs as Skye covers his hand with hers.

He pulls it back then counts off again three, two, one and ends with a fist with two fingers sticking out of it, scisrock? Rocksors? Take your pick. Yep. He's cheating too.
Skye Johnson She giggle. "I did warn you."

"Oooo cheat." She catches beginning and a paper with will needles. Skye has zero hope to win. But will try!
Clint Barton Clint laughs at Skye's choice. "What in the hell is that?" he asks her with a grin. "I am going to say this round goes to me. Ready for the final one, no cheating?" he asks.

If Skye gives the okay he counts off and shoots paper for the final round.
Skye Johnson She laughs. "What?"

"Okay, okay. Fair enough." Skye shakes hands him. "One.. two..three!"

She actually plays fair. Scissors.
Clint Barton Clint laughs as Skye wins honestly this time.

"Nice. See how much more fun things are when you don't cheat?" he lies teasing. "So go ahead and pick your poison," he tells her nodding to the bowls of soup waiting for them.
Skye Johnson "Ha!" She gloats as she wins, "I should of bet something thing.. mmm.."

The dishes are perused and the one done
Skye Johnson Ha!"She gloats as she wins. "I should of bet some thing... mmmm....."

Skye Johnson "Ha!" She gloats as she wins. "I should of bet some thing... mmm..."

The dishes are are one as picked. "There. "
Clint Barton "Too late now," Clint crows as he claims his bowl and a pair of chopsticks. "You wanna bet it'll have to be next time," he says giving her shoulder a nudge as he pulls the lid off his savoury smelling bounty. He wasn't sure what it was they gave him but it sure looked and smelled like heaven. "So, what'd you get?" he asks peering over at Skye's bowl.
Skye Johnson "I have no clue. Sure we dont have to or want to." She fishes a long. "I have no clue. Do I need do?"

Regardless she eats.
Clint Barton Clint nods, "Fair enough," he says taking a bite of his and pulling a face. "Whatever mine is it's spicy," he says with a mouth still full of noodles. He swallows it down and adds "Good though. How about yours?"
Skye Johnson "Huh?"Skye finishes. "Mmm could tradeyou?"

She holds her out.

"Soooo.." she exclaims, "what were you doing?
Clint Barton "I am good with mine, but if you want to trade I'm game too," Clint says offering a shrug. He swaps bowls if she goes for it.

"Me. Just some training with the STRIKE boys and checking in on a couple of things. How about you? Get up to anything fun?"
Skye Johnson The ramen switched and 'oooh!' is eaten. "Oooh mmm" She says, "I saw news. Was *almost* news."
Clint Barton Clint takes a bit from the new bowl and "Mmms," he says. "Much better," though that doesn't stop him from snatching a bit of meat from Skye's bowl.

"Which news?" he asks as he wolfs down that piece of meat.
Skye Johnson "Hey!" Skye grins at. "Cheater."

The new bowl is around the which news... "What was old cold news and I was gonna give it up... and.."

The one ooooold coin.
Clint Barton Clint laughs. "Did not cheat," he says setting down his bowl for a second. "I stole. It's different." He smiles smugly.

"So your mother you mean, trying to find her?"
Skye Johnson "I don't?" She swallows, "But.." Skye pulls a coin from and tosses it to Clint. "I found this. Just the one."
Clint Barton Clint catches the coin out of the air and examines it while it lays in his palm. "What is it? And where did you find it?"
Skye Johnson Skye puts her a ramen down.

"I think the message is for me. It is the same of the old coins, only is numbers either side. see?" Either side is circled is a framing of numbers. "See?"
Clint Barton "Yeah?" Clint says as he takes a better look. She was right there were numbers there on both sides, small as to be hard to notice on a first look. "So, thinking some sort of code? A message?"
Skye Johnson Skye frowns even she nods. "I know the messages is right there.." She shakes her head. "but what? I am kerfluffed."
Clint Barton Clint considers the coin, the numbers, "Usually numbers accounts, access codes, coordinates," he reasons. "Out of those, which makes sense, my bet is on coordinates, you need to know what you need to enter a password into for a password to mean anything and an account number is nearly useless without knowing what bank it belongs to."
Skye Johnson "Duh. The bank already tossed. Coordinates make the most sense, but the others.." Skye shakes her head. "At rate other the right to left, I am right out of originsl. You?"
Clint Barton Clint nods, "Made sense," he says of the bank having been searched. As for the coordinates? "Could try putting the numbers into a computer program see what sort of coordinates it can generate, see if anything seems likely for them to have gone."
Skye Johnson Skye frowns. "It makes the most. But a..'

She grows distant, and then she laughs. "She wouldnt a have computer - she have would a..."

She is trying a with inkling.
Clint Barton "A map," Clint says following Skye's lead to the answer. "So, this is basic, longditude and latitude," he looks to Skye. "Wanna fire up Google maps?"
Skye Johnson "It's so simple, and yet so very, very complex."

She tries numbers, and suddenly hits the jackpot. "Oooo, lookie there." Skye pulls up a small island, so small it doesn't even have a name. "What do you think?"
Clint Barton Clint nods, "The best codes usually are, right?" he says with a smile for his hacker. "The sort of thing you can look at a million times and not get it." Then he turns to study the map. The island is small but then so was that mountain top, "Well if I was going to pick up and move my secret monastary city thing somewhere," he points to the island. "/That/ is exactly the sort of place I'd choose."
Skye Johnson "Well," Skye looks concerned. "She obviously wants me to drop in, but what does it say. I mean, we didnt part ways. And she must have known the Princess was here. I want to meet her, and.."

Skye shakes her head. "Help?"
Clint Barton Clint nods, "Yeah," he agrees. "This is definitely an invite, but not sure why she didn't just come see you," he says with a shake of his head.

Though when she asks for help, he nods, "Sure, what do you need?"
Skye Johnson Skye sits for a few minutes. "Well.. we definitely should as my invitation. She went out off her to make sure only I was invited. Whether or not I take as planned remains to be seen. At the very least you should plan on dropping if is too long."

Skre grins, "Go on, you were planning on it anyway. Really I should just bring along."
Clint Barton Clint nods, "Yeah, guilty as charged, but it's the smart play, having back up, and a tracker," he says. "But I can come with you, maybe get a backup team ready too, just in case we run into trouble. If not, at least we have a ride home handy."
Skye Johnson Skre kisses a cheek, and spoons a last of noodles. "All right. We have a pretty good team. You. Bucky. Maybe one or two others?" She hopes he brings Natasha, even if she doesnt get with her. Natasha is good. And Skys trusts her.
Clint Barton Clint smiles as Skye kisses his cheek. "We do, and yeah Bucky would be good, Nat maybe one or two others could help with this. Certainly would make me feel better walking in there. "So, how are you feeling about all this, maybe finally meeting her?"
Skye Johnson "You mean frightened?" Skye replies. "I'm not really sure? For the longest time a thought the she dead. Now she's alive. Some times I really wish she was still dead, and sometimes .. " She shrugs.
Clint Barton Clint nods, "Yeah, I know what you mean, there's times I wish my parents were back and others. a lot of the time really, when I'm glad they're gone." He puts a hand on her shoulder. "Hopefully after we meet her you'll be glad she's still with you."
Skye Johnson Skye gives a lopsided grin. "Come on. I'll do the leftovers, and the garbage. You feed the cats. Then go to bed."
Clint Barton Clint leans over and kisses Skye's cheek. "Sounds good," he says as he puts the lid back on his soup and gets up, heading to the fridge for the cat's food. "C'mon you monsters, dinner time."
