Hercules It has been a quiet day even for the Lion of Olympus. He's helped out some children with retrieving a kitten from a tree and even did the basic 'help an elderly woman cross the street'. For his reward he even got a tip of a great and very tasty Greek restaurant in the city. Of course, this alone does raise the large man's curiosity. Good food is good food after all. And it is enough to have him cross the bridge to find out. After about an hour or so he stands looking around. Yup he's lost, but then he was never good with directions.
Ares Oh sure, Hercules was certainly lost. For the eyes of Ares was on his brother and despite attempting to live a normal life....despite attempting to be a good father to Phobos, Ares was a creature who had always longed to prove himself superior to the favorite son of Zeus: Hercules.

So, the sky seems to almost crack open as a being falls out of the sky and lands in a knelt position on the ground. "Its been too long, Brother."

The figure that speaks is covered in pitch black armor, minus the chest having a skull motif upon it. His arms are left bare, but gauntlets, pants, and greaves? Not so much. A cloak does not hang on his shoulders, but his eyes fall on Hercules. He says nothing more then. But then again, what remains to be said?
Hercules As the dust rises around him the large man waves it away as he hears something familiar. However, for the man known as Hercules, he confused slightly as he hears a voice but sees no one. Well, that's quickly remedied as he turns around finally seeing the origin of the voice. "Oh. Ares." Yeah that's it keep it cool big man. Try not to tick him off. "You would you happen to know where a 'Jason's Greek Eat's' might be, would you?" Okay, that's too cool.
Ares Ares looks upon Hercules as he approaches. "Hercules." He replies when Hercules says his sacred name. But alas, while Hercules is being the oaf he's always been, Ares seems to be very on task. "Why would I care where a petty unauthentic Greek restaurant is located?" He clenches his fist and the crack of bones is -audible- enough for someone in the next block to hear it.
Hercules Hercules hears the cartilage popping all too clearly. His brother has come looking for a fight. Something he must deny "Well that is the point, is it not? I am trying to see just how authentic it really is." The question is. Is the Lion stalling or is he just seeing how far he can anger the God of War?
Ares Ares doesn't waist any further time with discussion. "Do not waste my time, brother." He lunges forward then, attempting to simply punch Hercules -hard- in the face to launch him backwards. Of course, they could act like adults and talk things out but...when you are gods, and father dearest is a scumbag, is there really any time for any sort of negotiation or conversation?

Doubtful.

Either way, Ares came here looking for a war. Sure enough, he may yet get it.
Hercules Ares does indeed connect with Hercules's face. And if he were any mortal man people would have seen a Gallagher concert for free. But nay he is the lion of Olympus the mighty... is that a bus? It is indeed. As Herc hits, he tears through the side like it was, well a god going through steel. He bounces around inside causing the lone driver to scream. "Never fear fair driver, I have my pass on me somewhere." he says groggily as he gets to his feet. As he looks out the hole he sees Ares just waiting. "Second thought, you should put your vehicle in 'out of service' and run."
Ares Ares seems to still be slowly approaching after the warm reunion between Hercules and Ares's fist. Its been what, a few hundred years or so? Either way, the bus that he punched his brother into doesn't seem beyond repair. No doubt the driver of the bus is sprinting away for his life.

"Where is your strength, brother!?"

Ares widened his arms, like he wanted to take Hercules's best shot. Even though he can probably guess that Hercules is just going to throw the bus at him.
Hercules As he climbs out of the hole in the bus, Hercules hops down and sees Ares walking towards him. "Really!? An insult would have worked as it usually does." He yells back as he rocks his head side to side, loosening up. This is going to be a fight. And the people holding up their phones, filming, know it.
