Nick Well, after a sizable weather delay, the film studio has managed to make up for lost time by working like crazy. And with the crazy workload, a rather tired looking Nick exits from beyond the security checkpoint. Now on the side that non ticket holders can be on, he graps the backpack on his shoulder as he strolls past the cluster of people waiting for the carousel to start up. He didn't check any luggage. Instead, he gets to wait elsewhere. Oh boy! Fishing out his cellphone, he proceeds to turn it back on.
Karrin Murphy One Karrin Murphy, PD, is waiting in the parking lot. She'd wait outside, but......dealing with towing firms. Oh that's a pain in the butt she'd rather not deal with. So she's in the lot. Saturns' parked neatly. And yes, Murph's cleared a spot in the trunk. There's just a few less stuffed animals in there right now. So she waits, shooting Nick a text letting him know she's waiting.
Nick Good timing. As Nick turns on the phone, it beeps, lighting up. The icon in the corner looks no different. But it's just the particular tone that's telling. Someone sent a text message. The musician sighs, shaking his head as he starts dialing a number he's memorized from the last time. Alas. Another mystery message.

Karrin's phone rings.
Karrin Murphy Fine. Murph will go /into/ the airport. Well, no, she'll go wait with coffeee for Nick. Cause why not? Figures that after his long flight, Nick needs thatt, right? Murph certainly does either way so..yes, Karrin is perfectly willing to get coffee. Killing the ringing, Murph slides her phone back into her pocket.

It's been said Karrin looks like a chihuahua when angry. Rightg now's no exception
Nick Nick blinks as the phone just disconnects. Spotty signal? No. That phone is built for phone calls and THAT's it. But just in case. He walks closer to the door before redialing. Bringing the phone back up to his ear.
Karrin Murphy Murph finally digs her phone out. "Wha...hey Nick" Murph says, "I'm waiting in the food court. You want anything?" she asks and hopes she's sounding optimistic. Work's been hell. She did remember to call him, though. Murph's bought a few of those questionable airport paprbacks too, amusingly.
Nick As Murphy discloses her location, Nick's feet shift, turning to move away from the exit and towards the food court instead. "Hey Karrin. Uh, nothing that I can think of. I'm on my way over. Which vendor are you in front of?"
Karrin Murphy Murph grins. "I'm in front of the donut cart that does coffee. Don't laugh" Karrin says and hangs up, pacing the food court for a few minutes. She's wearing her casual gear, true. Keys in hand...
Nick "Alright. Be there in a few." Nick replies before hanging up his phone. Sliding it into his pocket, he steps a little quicker, making use of a walkway to speed up his approach. There's a slight falter of steps as he reaches the end before orbiting around the railing to angle himself in to the food court, heading directly towards the cart. Now why would he la-

Oh. RIGHT.

He chuckles a little, waving to the cop as she comes into view.
Karrin Murphy "Hey Nick, how's it going?" Murph asks with a grin. "C'mon, let's get you back home. I got a car, a light and a siren. And chocolate donuts, too" she says with a straight face.
Nick As he gets close enough to talk to Karrin, he returns Karrin's grin with his own. "Won't need the light and siren. But I will take the car ride, and a donut." When Karrin has her stuff in hand, he turns, glancing back to her, "Thanks for picking me up. Nothing burned down while I was gone, right?"
Karrin Murphy "You mean your condo? I didn't hear any dispatches for NYFD, so...I'm fairly sure it's intact. Either that, or, well....or....

Or, Karrin is thinking...or, well...yeah, Wade's learned to cook and do laundry. Wow. Small miracles?
Nick "I was thinking more fires caused by your boyfriend." Nick replies with a shake of the head, "No matter. Let's head to the car. You can fill me in on the way home..."
