Morgana le Fay It's just after dusk in Raven Park, Harlem. See, Morgana's here, and looks pale and at death's door. She's dragged herself out of Avalon though and come here, to Raven Park. Just because of the name, but also because it gives her a chance to think, weak as she is, and clear her head of gremlins, as in, the literal typee. So she's heree just walking the grass and wearing, yes, her robes, her signature choice in clothing. The crown? Left at home thankfully.
Willow Rosenberg Willow is sitting bere, under a tree, enjoying the sunset, and a wonderful spring warmth. She's just about to break out some candles, and with other things she has brought, when she stops and looks at the lady. It's the robes that get her. Not only are they unusual, but any other then Willow would find them strange.
Morgana le Fay Morgana's used to weird looks by now. Especially in the human world. She nods a hello to Willow and watches her for a moment, before sitting on the grass.

"So..." Morgana nods. "What's going on?"

It's a simple question. Morgana's asking it. Mostly since, hey, Morgana's genuinely curious what Willow is up to. Magic is magic
Willow Rosenberg "Oh!" Willow's cheeks flush. "I was just going to.. I mean it's such a beautiful spring day.. I have some candles."

She pauses, her head tilted just the way. "You don't care, do you." She's catching on that most people don't give a rat's behind about whatever she did. Most often it's perfunctory so say, 'I are you doing', if at all.
Morgana le Fay Morgana smiles a little. See. She should by rights want to kill Willow, but being weak as a kitten? No. Besides, she could always get infirmation out of Willow first.

"Do I care what you're doing? No because it does not affect me" Morgana says and pats the ground. "But may I join you?" she adds. She's speaking with a certain, well, regal way. Queen of Avalon and all that fun stuff. She looks past Willow then back to her and actually smiles, despite being pale as chalk.
Willow Rosenberg Can she? A little niggle rushes through her, but she really has nothing to base it on. Besides which, she might want to be more menacing. Anyways, she doesnt look terrifying, right?? Well, other that the dress, and frankly, Willow kinda thinks it is kinda cool. Says the girl who wears sixies fashion.

"Sure," she says, moving over. "Would you little the candles on?" It is growing dark, after all. thinks
Morgana le Fay Morgana nods and concentrates for a moment, This time? She chose Latin to call on. See. Lighting candles isn't all bad or taxing magic. it's simple, effortless. She says a few Latin words and waves a hand at the candles. Hey, if all went well, they should be lit.

Sitting, Morgana nods.to Willow. "You're spending today doing what, lighting candless and watching them? I know that is a worthy use of time, or are you wanting to do something magical with them?" she asks gently. Oh she knows about candles being used by humans. Pah. Human magicians and their fascination with candles!
Willow Rosenberg "Oh!" Willow's eyes widened. Though she getting used to magic. Very different than . "They're pretty. I like that they remind us how little we are, but how large we can become. That's the Wiccan in me." She tilts her head. "But you don't mean that, do you."
Morgana le Fay Morgana looks to Willow with a surprised look. "You use magic huh?" she asks sounding pleased to find another magic user here. "I've studied magic all my life. It is absolutely fascinating" she nds and smoothes her robes, looking to the candles then Willow.

"Youwonder what I mean. I was saying that magic is beautiful, as are candles. I use candles myself for a lot of things"
Willow Rosenberg They're beautiful," Willow watches candles blow in the wind. "I like pink, though the books say different colours for different effects. Me? I don't really care. At least not for mundane magics. You would not believe the silliness. A candle is just a candle. Right?"

She gives a beam.

"You aren't talking about that, are you?" Willow nods. "It's still nice to go through the ritual."

She looks a bit a bit shy. "I'm Willow, by the way."
Morgana le Fay Morgana smiles, "I'm Morgana" she explains and listens to Willow talk with a nod. "Candles are" Morgana nods keenly. "Beautiful and who actually cares on the color of candles or what the book says? Books don't tell the full story" Morgana adds looking pleased.
Willow Rosenberg "People always look outside themselves. They don't believe so there is magic within. Probably just as well. Can you imagine it everybody believes? As it goes, we can pick out the extra energy and make it work for us. Well, do a point. It is still better if it comes from within."
Morgana le Fay "It is" Morgana nods looking over the park again and lays back on the ground, hands behind her head. "Everyone thinks they can do magic, but...there's few who really can do incredible magic" Morgana muses with a look up at the sky, "Magic has a cost, doesn't it Willow?" she asks softly. Oh it't's a cost Morgana's all too familiar with
Willow Rosenberg "You think?" Willow looks over. "What if I think used the cost to good use? Isn't that good?" She seems to be a ruin with herself.
Buffy Summers Buffy Summers is taking a break from patrolling for once, just passing through the area on her way back home. It's been a busy day and the suns only just setting. A break in the nearby park might do her well. She pauses as she sees a familiar face and smiles, heading towards Wil. "Willow! Hey!" she smiles and waves to her.
Morgana le Fay Morgana listens. Robes don't have pockets, or at least her ones. "It's the same cost, Willlow. It's the same cost no matter your motives" Morgana says with a quiet look over to Willow, then around again, finally laying back down with a quiet 'hrmm' sound.
Willow Rosenberg "Hmmm. Then there isn't a difference, just you motive?" Willow looks to she might say something else, but Buffy still arrives. "Oh! Hi."
Buffy Summers Buffy Summers smiles, moving to sit next to Willow, "Hey, whatcha doing? Is this another if your witch friends?" she smiles and nods to Morgana, and no, she's not being sarcastic, "Hi! Do t think we met before, I'm Buffy."
Morgana le Fay "Buffy?" Morgana asks, watching her silently. "I much prefer Willow as a name, like the tree used for magic. Buffy is a strange name. Let me guess. It's a modern name that has no meaning" she adds and ponders on the cost of magic. "Yeeeees" she says drawing the word, "But people put such importance on motives. Tell me. If I cast a spell to end an animal's suffering, is that a good use of magic, or not?" Morgana asks. It's not a trick question at all.
Willow Rosenberg "Her?" Willow considers. She could be a friend. Could she? "Yes." Her head nods up and down. "We were just talking about the price you pay for magic. But we can talk about something else?"

But Morgana get her thinking. "I used to think yes, butâ?¦ what if you stole that lifeforce. Isn't that wrong? You didn't say how you were gonna release the animal." And she has seen how Superman was going to a 'released'.
Morgana le Fay Morgana didn't open that box full of questions. She just needed to get Willow thinking a little.

"Mhmm" Morgana says propping herself up on her elbows. "Now you're thinking. I like that" she nods and lookks pleased. "Some would say murdr, some would say mercy killing. What if you had to steal the lifeforce to save another?" Morgana adds.

Yes, she's here debating this with Willow and Buffy.
Willow Rosenberg "But what if that lifeforce was to save everyone else but the sacrifice? How they we know? Or better you can save your people, by sacrificing someone else, or their whole world." Willow has thought about it, not that there is good or bad. Maybe shades of grey.
Morgana le Fay "You have a point" Morgana says simply to Willow, as if judging her intentions. Even so, she nods. "That" she says simply. "Is the question"

She trails off as she walks into the trees andd loses herself in them. There goes Morgana le Fey.
