Owner Pose
Mercy Thompson Mercy Thompson is no slouch at martial arts, indeed currently, with no cars in the shop she's stood in the middle of it practicing her high kicks and working on her martial arts, her karate. Looking over to the door for a moment, Mercy's got the bay doors open. Looking back to the space in front of her...yeah high kicks are what she's working on today.

because wrenchhes are good. BUt, hey, sometimes you need to kick the crap out of parts to feel bettter.
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller comes in with his arms full of parts from the pull a part place. He will look over and watches Mercy for a moment smiling as he enjoys the show quietly.
Mercy Thompson Spinning on her heel, Mercy's ready to go for whoever....oh it's Joseph. Well then. Okay, fine. He won't get a foot kicked at him...not yet at leas. Mercy pauses and unties her again.

"Hey you, where've you been?" Mercy asks with a grin.
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller smiles and says "I got word there was this yard in Gotham had a lot of VWs but turned out 90 percent bugs and most of those had been stripped down tot he frame, but got a few things.
Mercy Thompson "There's nothing wrong with Bugs. Do I have to explain this to you again?" Mercy asks with a shrug. "I mean, you know I drive a Vanagon, right?" Mercy points out with a smile, "And my Rabbit. So" Mercy muses and pulls out a wrench from her tool chest. "Let's see what you got there. You know how to work a wrench, yeah?" she says with confidence in her voice.
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller nods, and says "You know I do, and eve super bugs are small for me, and I was looking for Vanagon stuff, and bug parts aint Vanagon parts." He will smile and offers her a one armed hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Mercy Thompson Mercy returns the kiss and smirks. "You've no idea how good Bug parts are" Mercy says looking over the parts with a shrug, "I mean. They are useful. So" Mercy nods, "What'd you find?"
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller shows her, a few odds and ends, some engine parts some interior door parts, probably about a wheel barrels worth a different things she might find usefull.
Mercy Thompson "So, you got those, and....didn't bring a frame?" she asks as Mercy looks over the parts. "There's enough there to start on a new Bug, or something you can fit in. You know they made convertible Bugs, right. Not that I'd work on one willingly, however. Put a gun to my head, make me work on one. Take your chances with my father. Speaking of which I've not introduced you yet, have I?" Mercy asks with a mischievous grin.
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller shakes his head and says "Not yet we talked about going up and meeting them, but aint yet, and I am sure I can go back and get a frame or two from there.
Mercy Thompson "Not Montana. You know who my father is, right?" Mercy askss quietly, shaking her head with a wry grin. "I mean. I could bring you to Montana, but...that'd be walking into a pack of werewolves, and up near Canada. It'd be easier to drive down from Starling really,but..." mercy points out. "It's easier when people drop by my garage, really. Makes it simpler on me"

Mostly since her father showing up would just complicate things. They'd probbably try and outdo each other in a prank war. Which would naturally catch most of West Harlem in its crossfire, too. Mercy's a trickster too. Which isn't a shock given just who her father is, really...
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller shakes his head and says "Not who specificly no hon, who is it?
Mercy Thompson "Coyote. If you know your mythology" Mercy ponders and shakes her head, "You'll know why that's trouble"

Mostly since Coyote....wll. Not a walk in the park.

"If he drops by I'm going for a walk in the Adirondacks, you deal with him. I'm not coming back till he leaves, you know that?" Mercy asks with a smile. "See, he's just...well....trouble" Mercy muses more to herself, though she smiles. "If we knew a way to go see him, we could drop in on him. Which isn't a bad idea"
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller looks over and says "Oh and I have to do th ewhole old fashion "Sir, I am dating your daughter, and we are somewhat serious?"
Mercy Thompson "More like run away" Mercy nods looking amused as she twirls a wrench, looking thoughtful and relieved, then suddenly worried. "If he does drop by I'll throw a wrench at him" Mercy shrugs, only half joking. Looking to Joseph then the door then Joseph again, Mercy shakes her head. "I'm not willing to lug a frame from Gotham to here" she points out, looking amused.
Joseph Miller Joseph Miller says, "Well if you want me to hon, I will." He grins and will spend a bit showing her what all he got."
