Shannon      It was a simple, normal afternoon, with simple, normal things happening. But then again, where did simple ever enter into the picture for some? It's just such a bit of peace Shannon is seeking, taking refuge in the simple joy of... pizza. What could be more homely than that? Perfectly normal, right? Right!

But then again, the day was still young....
Bruce Banner One Bruce Banner tends to prefer perfectly normal as well. In fact, he's just passing through the region, and had parked in in the lot in a park nearby. The mobile home is definitely familiar to one Shannon Lance... as is the visual of the foldout table and chair just outside of it with a man wearing a baseball cap reading a magazine.

Seeing Bruce in his natural state of just... reading a science magazine, might be a bit jarring, if anyone actually recognizes him.
Shannon      Apparently, said Shannon Lance is the only one who recognizes a wild Bruce in his natural habitat, as nobody really seems to pay the otherwise apparent stranger any mind at all. She, however, does. A smile tugs the corners of her lips upwards; it had been some time since the last he had been in the vicinity, and this was someone who had always been kind to her, regardless of which facet of him was readily apparent at any given time.

So it was that, with four pizza boxes in hand, she wings her way over towards the mobile home, dressed more for the increasingly crisp weather. She's in dark blue jeans, a long cream-colored tunic sweater, and her favorite caramel suede boots. As always, she has her little brown leather bag ready to hand. A light giggle might be heard just above and ahead of Bruce's line of sight, giving ample warning of her approach rather than having it be a total--and possibly unwelcome--surprise. "Pizza delivery!" she calls down, grinning.
Bruce Banner There's a moment, actually, where Bruce doesn't realize that anything is going on... then his mind catches up to the stimuli, and he takes off his reading glasses as he looks up. "Oh." He says with a subdued tone. "Oh." He says again, as he realizes who it is.

"What are you doing here?" Probably a bit of a dumb question, but Bruce obviously wasn't expecting any visitors to the home today. "I thought the rest of them told you to stay away or something? That's the impression I got, anyway."
Shannon      Landing nearby, Shannon tucks her wings in behind her, ambling on over towards Bruce where he sits. "Yeeeeeeah, they were kind of pretty strongly advising caution," she admits. "But who knows how often I'll make it out with classes starting soon. Besides," she adds, her smile not wavering one bit. "It's just nice to see you."

Probably not the sort of thing Bruce was accustomed to hearing from anybody, but then again, Shannon was definitely not just anybody. "Got a few pies that would taste better shared, if you're hungry?"
Bruce Banner "Well, I was just about to go make a sandwich." Bruce admits, even as he begins to rummage through the top pie, checking it out. "Just a moment." Bruce notes as he enters the mobile home.

About thirty seconds later, another foldout chair is taken from the inside, and placed next to the table. "There you go." Bruce offers, before he sits down with a plop and begins to peel out a slice. "I really should get back to negotiating with the faculty." Bruce finally mutters.
Shannon      The top pie is, of course, a classic pepperoni, though other savory smells waft through the air from the rest of the lot. With a smile of gratitude, Shannon plops down on the posterior perch that was so politely proffered by Bruce, settling in to enjoy the company and a good late lunch. "Yeah, I never did hear anything more about that, but then again faculty's often got their hands pretty full." Oddly enough, the winged teen's cheeks turn a rather tell-tale shade of rose, and is that something of a twinkle in her eye? No, surely it must be a trick of the light! "But then again, recently, so have I."

Companionable silence reigns for a few moments as she, too, plucks a piece of pepperoni pizza from the box, nibbling on it. "What about you? Anything new happening your way?"
Bruce Banner If Bruce caught the reddened cheeks, he doesn't show it. Instead, he takes a bite from the pizza and nods. "With a school like that, I can only imagine." Bruce then gives a slight chuckle. "Except for some time traveling doofus bringing more trouble into New York, nothing is happening on my end. Doing my best to keep out of the public eye."
