Felicia Hardy After doing some homework rifling files in one of the Diamond Exchange's executive offices, Black Cat decides to make another visit. Only this time she leaves her mask at home, and arrives as Felicia Hardy, wealthy socialite and potential investor. She drives herself, pulling up in a ridiculous Italian sports car as if expecting valet parking. After a short conversation, during which various people attempt to explain that the Diamond Exchange is not, in fact, Tiffany's, someone parks her car and she is shown inside.

The woman is dressed lavishly in black velvet, heels, and a white fur stole. Not exactly dripping with diamonds, her jewelry is kept more on the tasteful and practical side. Talking with her escort while they walk, the blonde asks "So tell me again, who do I talk to if I'm looking for something very special?"
Selina Kyle Ahh, the diamond exchange. Catwoman has heard of the place of course, she'd even scoped it out a couple of times, but since it was very high profile, and high security as well, she was careful not to attempt that one..Not yet anyway. Hey, she's trying to be a good kitty..

So she arrives as Selina Kyle, sultry philanthropist who isn't one to use her wealth to live in the lap of luxury. She arrives on her motorbike, dressed in black leather jacket and pants, and a simple yet stylish purple glittery shirt underneath. Her own jewelry is pretty sparse but nice - a simple black leather cat choker with an amethyst jewel dangling from the end, and a simple amethyst bracelet.

She parks her own bike out the back and steps inside, no one the wiser of who is walking right under her nose.
Felicia Hardy     Felicia continues her conversation while being walked through a brief tour. She pretends to look interested, but purchasing diamonds as commodities never really appealed to her in either guise. No, the woman is seeking special stones. Stones that she now knows the Exchange has access to.

"You do have impressive security here." she declares, speaking from experience. Took her quite a while to break in last time, and that was just one of the offices. "Surely you don't store everything here on site."
Selina Kyle Selina Kyle strides in, only a few steps behind Felicia and her assistant. She arches a curious brow as she overhears the conversation and is quiet for a while, totally eavesdropping althuogh she at least makes an effort to seem more interested in the building and the display cases instead.

However, it takes a moment or two, but Selina does actually recognize the socialite Felicia Hardy form somewhere..TV? One of her own galas? She smiles, stepping towards her. "Ms. Hardy is it? What a pleasure to see you." she greets with a pleasant smile. Surely she has heard of Selina Kyle as well?
Felicia Hardy Felicia turns at the sound of her name, blue eyes brightening as she offers a smile. "Yes? Oh, you're Selina Kyle, aren't you? What a marvelous coincidence this is!" Felicia has seen Ms. Kyle in the society pages, of course, and they've even attended the same social functions on occasion.

Never so much as brushed elbows, however, until now.

"I wasn't aware that you were also a diamond investor, Ms. Kyle."
Selina Kyle Selina Kyle smiles pleasantly at Felicia and nods. "Indeed, I have heard of you, Ms. Hardy. It is a pleasure to meet you in the flesh..I hope that you can attend my upcoming Halloween gala as well. I know you have always been a woman of tastes."

As for coincidences, she just chuckles, "I don't usually believe in coincidences my dear. I'm sure there was a reason why we bumped into each other. As for diamonds.." she sighs as she peers at the displays and shrugs.

"To be honest, I have never been a diamond investor in the past, but I was..Curious. I just had to see for myself if this is something worth investing in."
Felicia Hardy Felicia's smile remains bright, her demeanor bubbly. "Halloween gala? Oh you can be sure that I will." she replies. "After all, if *you* are the hostess I would be remiss if I didn't attend."

When Selina replies to the subject of diamonds, Felicia lets a fingertip lower towards the woman's choker with the large stone. "I assure you that diamonds are quite the worthwhile investment." she replies. No, Felicia knows good taste when she sees it as well. "But there's more to it than simply the four 'C's. One must really know a diamond's history. Where they came from, and how."
Selina Kyle Selina Kyle chuckles and nods. "Excellent! Then I look forward to seeing you there, I'm sure we have so much in common." actually, she has no idea, but she'd like to get to know Felicia better.

Her gaze returns to the diamonds however, thoughtfully, "Hmm, that's good to know, it seems like they would be a priceless investment. I'm sure I've heard somewhere that even gold can lose its value in the markets, but never diamonds..However, they DO seem to be a hot target for all sorts of thieves and burglars..I wonder what the security is like, here?"

She pauses a moment, arching a curious brow at Felicia. "Four C's? Sounds like you really know your diamonds? Care to elaborate?"
Felicia Hardy "Color, Cut, Clarity and Carat weight." Felicia replies. "Depending on the intended use, diamonds don't need to be perfect in all scores, either. Earrings, for example, don't need to be high in clarity." The blonde's expression becomes more playful, then. "If someone is close enough to judge the clarity of your diamond earrings, then he deserves to see the flaws." A pause, then the blonde adds. "He or she, that is."

"But there are rumors... just rumors, mind you... that some diamonds are obtained under rather... dire... circumstances." Her voice trails off, then. "As for security, I'm quite certain that this place is top notch."
Selina Kyle Selina Kyle oohs, committing those four C's to memory. "Right, makes sense." she smirks a bit at the earring comment. "Indeed. If they should be so lucky to get that close, hmm?" she returns a playful wink at that.

As for dire circumstances, that causes her to frown slightly, "Oh really? Do you speak of..Blood Diamonds?" Selina doesn't know such details of diamonds, but she really should, given her alter ego's occupation.

"I had heard rumours, but I certainly hope there are no such suppliers at a place like this.."
Felicia Hardy Felicia's eyes brighten as well. Yes, she's familiar with the term, most certainly. "You've heard of them." she replies. "There are some who believe that such diamonds can even carry a curse, like the treasure of the Egyptian Pharaohs."

The blonde shrugs, then. "If you believe in such things, of course. But your question was similar to one of mine, regarding such nasty business in this house."
Selina Kyle Selina Kyle frowns softly and nods gravely. "Hmm, I see..I suppose I can see how that might work." she sighs, "It really is a pity..But, how would you know the difference? I suppose you would really need to research the supplier, assuming they would be honest in the first place."

Selina quirks a curious brow towards Felicia, "Oh? And did you receive any adequate answers?"
Felicia Hardy Felicia looks left and then right before she leans in a little, voice lowering. "You know, I really haven't. I was less direct, of course, but it's not a subject that people really want to discuss." Pausing, she adds. "And understandably so."
