Felicia Hardy It's not often that Felicia Hardy answers classified ads, but this particular one was quite intriguing. "Catlover, hmm?" she muses, dressed comfortably nice for the evening. Long, platinum blonde hair is pulled back and she's shimmied into a black, velvet dress. With a high hem and low neckline, it definitely fits the 'little black dress' category. Well-heeled pumps and a black choker completes the outfit, and then Felicia is off to the bar.

Of course she wanted the initial meeting to be in a public place, and a bar is just as good a place as any. Walking in slowly, blue eyes flicker about as if in search of her potential date. For her part, the velvet choker is her recognition sign.
Ivory     Catlover wasn't exatly a title that was rare, but on Cape & Dater, it was pretty outstanding, the rest of the profile just as devoid of pictures as every other profile there - after all it was to keep anonymous. But pings actually were rare for that one profile. So when Ivory worked their way into the bar after someone named Blackcat had contacted them, they were somewhat nervous.
A black Tuxedo, tophat and a white clove in the button, combined with a white silk shirt and shiny black boots with a folding over top complete the outfit. Yes, it's styled after a mix of Puss'n'boots, 1900 gentleman and magician. Though their recognition mark is the white clove.
Eying around the room, their index finger strokes along the chin as they move over to the bar first, scanning the necks of everyone in the bar. "You happen to be Blackcat?"
Felicia Hardy     Felicia's gaze wanders, taking in every detail of every patron in the bar. Professional habits, and all that. She's looking for a white... ah, there it is. The 1900's gentleman in the Puss'n'boots outfit. And they're approaching her with all the appropriate swagger.
Felicia chuckles softly at the question, lightly hooking a fingertip into the choker fabric before pointing to the clove on the lapel. "And you must be Catlover." she replies, ending in a sound that's almost a purr. And quite natural for her. "Would you like to keep things mysterious and stick with pseudonyms, or are you good with actual names?" She lifts a finger to the bartender, then. "A White Russian for me, please, and whatever my friend wants."
Ivory Ivory chuckles a little, the own sound not too far off of a purr, as they nod on the assumption that they are catlover. "Oh, we could stay there, Miss Blackcat. Or we take a careful paw at the cold water..." They muse a little as they lean to the bar, dropping the payment for both the black clad woman's drink as their own to the bartender. "A red wine... Grenache if you have. But I insist on paying the bill."
Pondering about it a few moments, a smile curls over their lips. "Allow me one question about which side of the gender divide you prefer first." It's a little teasing, but the glint in the eye hints they might mean a little more than they said.
Felicia Hardy     Felicia lifts a white brow, her own smile becoming wry as her drink payment is overruled. "Well ordinarily I'd say that's very gentlemanly of you, but to be very honest your question has me reconsider that." she pauses, then squints a little as her gaze lowers just a touch... towards Ivory's throat. Adam's Apple, anyone?

"To be perfectly honest, I prefer to think of the person on their own merits. But when it comes right down to it, there are advantages to both genders."
Ivory Ivory chuckles as they nod at the answer, the nechband slipping up from the button up shirt. A band with geometric patterns. "Oh, I agree wholehartedly there. Both sides havetheir merits, both on the giving as well as the recieving end. I'm Ivory." they answer, giving a little wink. "But I guess with such a honest lady, I should be a gentleman for the moment, or would you prefer to have a girl at your arm tonight?"
Yes, the cat's out of the bag.
Felicia Hardy Black Cat's green eyes widen at that and she laughs, tossing her head back with a playful shake of that blonde mane. "Well then, Ivory, I'm not accustomed to partners being so VERY honest with me." Taking Ivory's slender hand in her own, she kisses the back in a reversal of roles.

"I'm Felicia, and I would be most flattered to enjoy the company of a gentleman for right now." Her thumb circles lightly over the back of Ivory's hand and she adds. "Although later I will very likely be in the mood for a girl."
Ivory     Ivory chuckles as there is not even a lot of a change for more than a little demeanor. What gender they had when they crossed the door? Irrelevant. "Then I shall be your gentleman for the moment."

A moment he eyes the hand, then switches the hold around, to close around hers and lift it to his lips, planting a, almost kiss upon it, very much mirroring what she had done a moment before, but blue eyes focussing on blue eyes as he whispers words to her: "Felicia, a lovely name. Either from Feline, which stems from feles, cat cat. Or from Felicitas, blessed."
Felicia Hardy Blessed? Black Cat? Felicia arches her wrist just so... a woman accustomed to the proper gestures of polite society... and she chuckles softly. "Well I -am- fond of cats, admittedly." she replies. "But I wouldn't venture to guess how much of the rest truly applies."

The hand is slowly withdrawn, then, and she leans in with the same motion. "You have quite the command of languages, it would seem. Almost cunningly so." There's a playful gleam in those green eyes, then, as she edges CLOSE to the double-entendre without quite crossing the line. "I really do look forward to getting to know you better, Ivory. You are a rather intriguing creature."
Ivory Ivory says, "Well, the geline connotation is neither usual, nor commonly accepted, but for someone usng the name Blackcat, it surely is a fitting one." Ivory notes as he leans over just enough to be inside the area that would constitue personal bubble as he picks up his glass from the bartender, staying in that distance. Respectful but answering the little pull.
"Only the feline side of languages." He chuckles a little as he shows the tongue for just a moment, following the entendre just enough to show he understood. "And I am looking forward to spending more than just one evening with you, if you like.""
Felicia Hardy Felicia's gaze lingers, the blonde not at all shy about the invasion of personal space. If anything she seems to encourage it further, fingers brushing his lapel and head tilting just so, as if to take a sniff of his cheek. "Only the feline side, hmm? Is that so..."

Felicia definitely seems intrigued, green eyes brightening with the playful flicker of his tongue. She laughs softly, then. "Let's see how the evening settles, Ivory. I've never been one to plan the second date before the first one concludes properly."
