Owner Pose
Ivory Winter has hit. With it, the cold came. But still, Ivory had aseked Felicia to come to a rooftop garden restaurant for a meeting. And they had stressed that it wasn't a date. Because there were things to talk about that wouldn't belong to a date.
Felicia Hardy Felicia arrives wearing a neat, white skirt and jacket that emphasizes everything just so. No hat, but dark shades are worn against winter's glare as well. She's a few minutes late, but only a few.
Ivory Ivory gets up as Felicia comes over, themselves wearing glasses, and a white winter jacket with a pair of cats on the back. What else but wear the own designs? The well known white persian licking the face of a black persian with a white collar-patch. "Ah, there you are. Would you like a coffee?"
Felicia Hardy Black Cat greets with an air-kiss like any good socialite should, smiling as she takes in Ivory's design. "Coffee sounds great, actually. Espresso?" The glasses are removed and she steps over to glide into a seat.
Ivory Ivory chuckles a moment as they slip the glasses into a pocket, tapping their nose for a short moment before settling down and flagging the waiter down to order. "We seem to got to talk." they finally open to Felicia, focussing on them with their eyes. Feline ones. They have put out the feline eyes.
Felicia Hardy Felicia definitely notices the feline eyes, and she lifts a white brow. She lets Ivory place the order before she speaks. "So what's on your mind today, then?" she asks softly. "Not that I'm one to object to coffee."
Ivory Ivory says, "Well, three things. First... well, I do have a few secrets - as do you. And one of them is not very well hidden." They pause, deliberately winking. "And those are the tip of the iceberg. Or of the iceberg?""
Felicia Hardy Felicia leans in, resting her chin upon one hand as she meets Ivory's gaze. "I do know at least one of yours, yes." she replies. " And you know enough to make some good guesses about me, I think. Want to trade, one for one? I'll keep your secrets if you keep mine?"
Ivory Ivory chuckles. "That I jump the fence is no secret. But I agree, trading secrets is a good idea. I tell you one, you tell me one, fair?" They chuckle, once more winking slowly.
Felicia Hardy Black Cat tilts her head, waiting long enough for their coffees to arrive. "Alright, then. Since your fence-jumping is sort of out in the open, I'll tell you one next." She pauses, then, as if to consider where to start. "I'm not physically like most people." And did she just glance, um, downward at her chest? "I'm stronger, faster, and all-around tougher. It's a metagene." One that she paid dearly to have activated.
Ivory Ivory whistles a short moment before chuckling, brushing through their hair. "Well, I could have thought something like that. A good secret, a light one. But my magic side is a little deeper than just jumping fences. You've not yet been to my flat, yes? Well, I don't own a cat - you can't own a cat. But I don't cohabit with one either. But there's white persian pelt in my flat nontheless." A little wink in answer.
Felicia Hardy Felicia tilts her head curiously, adding a couple sugars to her espresso. "I think I get your meaning, yes." she replies. "Something else you should know about me, is that sometimes bad things happen to people around me. I can't determine the specifics, but I -can- make bad things happen." She pauses to sip, savoring the taste. "The downside is that bad luck rubs off on anyone who spends TOO much time with me. Which is why I don't date more than casually."
Ivory Ivory nods at that confession, chuckling a moment. "Which was what I have as dot two on the agenda. To lay out that while dating casually is fun and games, I am not someone for being tied down and monogamy and stuff." For a few moments they seem to ponder, but then slip a litle slip of paper to Felicia, a business card with their home address.
Felicia Hardy Felicia plucks up the card, looking at it before tucking it casually into her cleavage. "Then we're already in agreement on point two." she replies. "Now I'm getting into lifestyle choices." Pause. "I lead something of a double life, as it were. Let's just say that I have a night job as well as a day job. And the night job just may involve the certain clandestine acquisition of high value items. For profit, of course." She pauses to take another sip, then adds. "I'm a very good climber and also good with locks."
Ivory Ivory snickers at the place Felicia tucks the card to, giving them a little wink extra. "Now, you showed me part of that already... let me guess: you might be in the same area as a certain other feline woman?" She chuckles slightly, giving a little extra wink. "Then I guess it wouldn't surprise you too much that that one did ask me to consider joining her... hat did she say... enterprise? Something like that..."
